Well gold is HEAVY. Good for kinetic energy weapons. What good is paper as a weapon? Propaganda? Propaganda doesn't win wars. At the end of the day you need troops on the ground and to GET PHYSICAL!

It's a shame so many believe that war is just something that is apart of our civilizations, when in reality it is just a waste of lives killing your own brother because we are all humans.
500 years ago people from England left for America, then they got in a war between each other. In reality they were just fighting their own family. This was probably mostly due to lack of intelligence, and the love of power.
Long_Xau, we do not need to get physical. We need to focus on the non-physical such as peoples emotional well being, love, and a better life for all (which is physical as well).
I was trying to insert a reference to getting THE physical (gold/silver) as the true way to send one's market signal, which is a civilized and completely non-coercive way to "fight". I'm merely extending the metaphor of "currency wars" from the cartoon. It is actually an antithesis of troops on the ground as the ultimate policy tool of tyrannical governments that show zero respect for human beings versus people and even some governments showing their complete lack of trust and support for tyrannical governments and establishments (which at the end of the day are organizations, not people) that have utterly ruined their own reputation, credibility and completely lost any remnant of virtue...
Bernank has said gold is not money, so he is glad to trade real money (dollars) with the Chinese in exchange for barbaric relics.

hey..... we must be winning right? They are dumping our dollars and we are dumping our gold... Everyone knows gold has no value... right? Yeah lets not develop our domestic energy especially our LNG because that way we could export it to China at double or more than we can sell it for here. companies would craete jobs and pay more taxes, we could balance the budget and pay off our debt... and we would no longer be dependent on the sauds for oil. Nah, lets do just the opposite... that's real leadership... Let's instead stifle the economy, raise taxes, pis money away on green projects and take people's guns. lets get more tyranical and definitely lets import more muslims because they contribute so much to America.. ya know they helped build it dont ya, plus they contribute so much to the obama agenda of government takeover of everything by diverting funds to homeland security, obama's 3 million man police force and it gives a beastial fat woman a chance to say things like... the system worked.... and the system pinged when he left but not when he came back.... the border is secure and we need 4700 mraps and 1.6 billion bullets per year... 1000 times more per person than the military in war zones consumes...
