Israel Informs US That Russia Plans To Sell Weapons To Syria

Tyler Durden's picture

We almost got an entire 24 hour period that did not have news about imminent war rumblings out of Syria. Almost. Late last night WSJ reported about the civil war torn country (in which the rebels may or may not be using chemical weapons, but are backed by both Al Qaeda and the US government) again, this time on a leak by Israel having warned the US that Russians are "imminently" going to sell advanced ground-to-air missile systems to Syria "that would significantly boost the regime's ability to stave off intervention in its civil war." Supposedly this means that Israel would be unable to continue its unimpeded military incursions of Syrian sovereign airspace and blow stuff up at whim just because it feels like it, and for whatever pretext the Israeli defense forces come up with.

Some details on what Syria is said to receive from Moscow via the WSJ:

Israel has warned the U.S. that a Russian deal is imminent to sell advanced ground-to-air missile systems to Syria, weapons that would significantly boost the regime's ability to stave off intervention in its civil war.

The package includes six launchers and 144 operational missiles, each with a range of 125 miles, according to the information the Israelis provided. The first shipment could come over the next three months, according to the Israelis' information, and be concluded by the end of the year. Russia is also expected to send two instruction teams to train Syria's military in operating the missile system, the Israelis say.

Naturally, there were no official statements on the matter, meaning interpretation of events is up to "objective",  "unconflicted" media spin, the same way the US government is convinced it was the Assad regime using chemical weapons despite the UN's report claiming just the opposite.

U.S. officials said on Wednesday that they are analyzing the information Israel provided, but wouldn't comment on whether they believed the sale of S-300 missile batteries was near.

Russian officials didn't immediately return requests to comment. The Russian Embassy in Washington has said its policy is not to comment on arms sales or transfers between Russia and other countries.

The government of President Bashar al-Assad has been seeking to purchase S-300 missile batteries—which can intercept both manned aircraft and guided missiles—from Moscow going back to the George W. Bush administration, U.S. officials said. Western nations have lobbied President Vladimir Putin's government not to go ahead with the sale. If Syria were to acquire and deploy the systems, it would make any international intervention in Syria far more complicated, according to U.S. and Middle East-based officials.

According to the information the Israelis provided in recent days, Syria has been making payments on a 2010 agreement with Moscow to buy four batteries for $900 million. They cite financial transactions from the Syrian government, including one made this year through Russia's foreign-development bank, known as the VEB.

Since Russia has a naval base in Syria, it probaly should not come as a huge surprise that Putin is on friendly terms with the current regime. After all it is not just Israel and the US that have strategic visions regarding a country that many see as the gateway to the Israel-Iran conflict.

In 2009, the Russians started upgrading Syria's outdated analog SA-3 surface-to-air missile systems, turning them into the SA-26 Pechora-2M system, which is mobile and digital, equipped with missiles with an operational range of 17 miles, according to the assessment.

The U.S. is particularly worried about another modernized system Moscow provides—the SA-5. With an operational range of 175 miles, SA-5 missiles could take out U.S. planes flying from Cyprus, a key North Atlantic Treaty Organization base that was used during Libya operations and would likely be vital in any Syrian operation.

US planes flying out of Cyprus carrying Cypriot gold perhaps?

As for the whole farce surrounding Syria, ok, ok - we get it. By now even the cheap seat have grasped that Israel wants to not only start a war with Syria, but to preferably have the US fight it, but not before alienating public opinion against Russia and soon China.

The Zionists are playing the American public like a violin. Zionism (Rothschild-ism): is the fake ‘history’ created by the Rothschilds to lay false claim to the land we call Israel or Palestine.

The ‘chosen people’ they claim, Bible prophesy, interpreted by many of the ‘Churches’ in this country, that God established the current regime in Palestine for European Rothschild Khazars (pseudo-Ashkenazi Jews), and any criticism of Israel, even if deserved, is an affront to God Almighty Himself.

Yup, and most Americans swallow that one hook, line, and sinker.

The Zionist Elephant In The Room

The political creed of Zionism has big ears and a long trunk and I think it’s time that was pointed out. It also stampedes through our lives at every level and that needs to be said, too.

It has created a pincer-movement on the human mind by hijacking staggering amounts of political, corporate, banking and media power on one side and by using the fear of being called ‘anti-Semitic’ if you dare to state the bloody obvious.

They have been able to do this by equating in public perception that Zionism = Jewish people. It does not. Zionism is a political creed introduced by the House of Rothschild to advance the goals of the Illuminati families that are largely controlled by the Rothschilds.

When people think of Zionism they think of Jewish people. When they think of Israel they think of Jewish people. That’s understandable given the propaganda, but it is seriously misleading and those instant connections need to be broken if we are going to understand what’s going on here.

Zionism means Rothschild just as Israel means Rothschild. When we see the extraordinary number of Zionists in key positions around the world we are looking not at ‘manipulating Jews’, but manipulating Zionists representing the interests and demands of the Rothschilds.

Significant numbers of Jewish people are not Zionists and oppose that appalling creed while many Zionists are not Jewish. These include the Christian Zionists and Obama’s vice-president, Joe Biden, who told Israeli television ‘I’m a Zionist’.  If, as Biden rightly says, you don’t have to be a Jew to be a Zionist, how can it be a racial rather than a political movement? It can’t. It’s just made to appear like that to manipulate public perception because opposing Zionism then becomes opposing Jewish people as a whole and the ‘you’re a racist’ card can be played over and over.

Far from protecting and advancing the interests of the mass of Jewish people it has often been devastating for them and caused millions to be labelled unfairly by the actions of the Zionist elite. On the Jews Against Zionism website one feature highlights how Rothschild Zionism targeted Jews who had lived for generations in Palestine side-by-side with Arabs in peace and harmony:

‘The religious Jews who by virtue of their faith, clearly contradicted Zionist nationalism, and who had lived peacefully with their Arab neighbors for generations, became unwillingly identified with the Zionist cause and their struggle with the Arabs.

They requested the United Nations that Jerusalem be designated as a defacto international city. They appealed to the diplomatic corps assigned to Jerusalem — but to no avail. They were hence confronted with the choice of either becoming a part of the Zionist State, which diametrically opposed the interests of Jews as a religion, or abandoning the land of which their forefathers were the first Jewish settlers.

Let’s get this straight. Zionism doesn’t give a damn about Jewish people. To the Rothschilds and their Zionist gofers and thugs the Jewish people as a whole are merely cattle to be used and abused as necessary – just like the rest of the human population.

The networks of the House of Rothschild were behind Hitler and the rise of the Nazi Party in the Rothschild heartland of Germany where they had changed their name from Bauer in 18th century Frankfurt and launched the dynasty that was to control global finance.

After the war the Rothschilds used public sympathy for Jewish people targeted by the Nazis to press for a homeland in Palestine. This was the alleged reason for the founding of Zionism, but that is only part of it.

The campaign to impose a Rothschild fiefdom in Palestine goes back at least to the earlier part of the 19th century and probably long before. It was given a massive boost with the Balfour Declaration in 1917 when the British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour declared in a letter his government’s support for a Jewish homeland in Palestine.

This letter was sent by Balfour, an inner-circle member of an elite secret society called the Round Table, to Baron (Walter) Rothschild who funded the Round Table.

Today, Rothschild Illuminati fronts like the Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg Group, Royal Institute of International Affairs, and others, still answer to the Round Table which string-pulls and coordinates from the shadows. This is why Zionists in government are invariably connected with these Rothschild-controlled organisations.

The Rothschilds funded the early settlers from Europe to relocate in post-war Palestine and they also funded and armed the terrorist groups, like Irgun, which bombed and terrorised Israel into existence in 1948, a campaign which forced 800,000 Palestinians to leave the land of their birth.

Israel is simply the State of Rothschild and how appropriate that they paid for the construction of the Israeli parliament building, the Knesset, and the Israel Supreme Court. The name Rothschild means Red-shield and it originates with the red shield ‘Star of David’ symbol (not a Jewish symbol before the Rothschilds) which they displayed on their house in Frankfurt .

Political Zionism:

The social movement which creates and sustains the physical nation of Isreal.  The driver for World Government through Isreal in the tradition of the Heretical Frankist Jews.

This definition is embodied by The Rothschild family.

Not all Jews are political Zionists.  Not all political Zionists are Jews.

The political Zionist movement feeds off Jews in the sameway the the Nazi movement feed off the Germans.

Political Zionism is the greatest enemy of the Jews.

Wow - Lulu land.

Isreal was greated in 1948 to ease the Jewish refuge problem in post WWII Europe. There were millions of homeless, penniless Jews wandering around Europe. There were also other mass refugee problems, particularly ethnic Germans, who were forced out of Prussia when it was given to Poland, Yugoslavia, etc, etc. Millions of people were on the verge of starvation. The industrial and agricultural infrastructure was ruined and there was a severe drought.

The Jews, as you can imagine, did not feel particularly welcome in Europe, they had just been rounded up and slaughtered en-mass, and latched onto the Zionist movement as a means to leave Europe and create a safe haven. To help reduce the refugee problem in Europe, the UK, USA, and France also saw this as an opportunity, and facilitated the movement of Jews to Israel.

There was no conspiracy here, just an effort to alleviate an immediate problem.

"The name Rothschild means Red-shield and it originates with the red shield ‘Star of David’ symbol (not a Jewish symbol before the Rothschilds) which they displayed on their house in Frankfurt ."

That's not correct.  There was no 'Star of David' on the shield.  The red shield had a graphic picture of the Roman Eagle.  Which some also interpret as a Phoenix (Egyptian symbolism of rebirth from ashes).

Street numbers were not common back then, and houses had "names".  Tradesmen and craftsmens hung their sign/shingle at the door, like we do today.  Their house name & address was "zum Rothschild", Judengasse (at Redshield, Jew Alley), Frankfurt am Main.  As opposed to the 'other' Frankfurt:  Frankfurt a.d.O. (Frankfurt an der Oder).

True, the Bauer ('Farmer') family changed their name to the that of their sign -- as a kind of re-branding and re-positioning, which helped them make better inroads with Nobility and Royalty.  This is like courting 'Key Corporate Accounts' today.  You have to admit that Redshield has a cooler ring to it than Farmer.  Just like 'Blackrock' sound cooler than 'Schwartzstein' (German equivalent).

Hope everyone learned something today.

"World Zionist leaders initiated a program to change America and its religious orientation. One of the tools used to accomplish this goal was an obscure and malleable Civil War veteran named Cyrus I. Schofield. A much larger tool was a venerable, world respected European book publisher--The Oxford University Press.

The scheme was to alter the Christian view of Zionism by creating and promoting a pro-Zionist subculture within Christianity. Scofield's role was to re-write the King James Version of the Bible by inserting Zionist-friendly notes in the margins, between verses and chapters, and on the bottoms of the pages. The Oxford University Press used Scofield, a pastor by then, as the Editor, probably because it needed such as man for a front. The revised bible was called the Scofield Reference Bible, and with limitless advertising and promotion, it became a best-selling "bible" in America and has remained so for 90 years."

BraveSirRobin's picture

The Scofield Reference Bible is a study bible. Its innovation is that it added interpretive notes to the margins, and not in separate sections. It did not alter the text of the Bible. The notes promoted a dispensationalist view of the Bible, that is, the idea that the entire period between the creation and the final judgment can be broken into seven distinct phases or eras that came serve as a framework to better understand the Bible. It laid out a timeline for the entirety of human history and helped popularize the 17th century Usher estimate for the date of the creation (4004 BC). It also gave a detailed timeline for the “end times.” The Scofield Reference Bible became popular during WWI and WWII because of its time lines and interpretations of the Apocalypse. Many dispensationalists thought Jesus was supposed to return and rule in 2004 AD. It is NOT widely circulated today. Very, very few Christians still hold onto the timelines put forward by it.

The most popular study Bibles today (by unit sales) are:

1.         Every Day With Jesus Bible (CSB)

2.         Chronological Study Bible (NKJ)

3.         Study Bible (ESV)

4.         Life Application Study Bible Revised (NIV)

5.         God Sightings the One Year Bible (NLT)

6.         Daily Bible in Chronological Order 365 Daily Readings (NIV)

7.         God Sightings the One Year Bible (NIV)

8.         Study Bible (KJV)

9.         Life Application Study Bible (NLT)

10.     Personal Size Giant Print Reference Bible (KJV)

Oh, and sales of study Bibles are fare less than regular Bibles.

Obviously you have very little interaction with dispensationalists.  The fact that the Scofield Reference Bible itself is does not continue to be top seller is meaningless.  It sprung many, many offspring not the least of which include Hal Lindsay "The Late Great Planet Earth", LaHaye and all of the "Left Behind" crapola and pretty much everything that Mossad financed fatass douche bag Hagee ever wrote.  That the initial timeline has now expired is irrelevant - the peddlers of this nonsense just make new shit up as necessary.  And the fools still lap it up.  Trust me, I have dispensationalists in my extended family which feels me with no end of embarassment.

"It did not alter the text of the Bible."

It helps to read the article that you're commenting on:

Scofield, whose work is largely believed to be the product of Darby and others, wisely chose not to change the text of the King James Edition. Instead, he added hundreds of easy-to-read footnotes at the bottom of about half of the pages, and as the Old English grammar of the KJE becomes increasingly difficult for progressive generations of readers, students become increasingly dependent on the modern language footnotes.

For those that think that the Cold War ended on 25/26 December 1991, please think again.  The Cold War is known by many as a "proxy war" in which the US and USSR used other parties as proxies for a bigger war (I'm thinking of Cuba - Cuban missile crisis (and therefore Turkey), Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iran-Iraq war, Egypt, Korea, et al).

I posit that in today's conflict in the Middle East, the US is using Israel as it's proxy; Russia is using Iran and Syria as their proxies.  Likewise, on the other side of the globe, I suspect Putin has zero real interest in North/South Korea, but I bet he's more than happy to have NK think that Russia will support them so that NK will drag SK/USA into another war.  I must conlculde that we (Americans) are refusing to acknowledge that our former adversary doesn't agree that the Cold War is over.  Further, the Russkies have an axe to grind as they blame us for the collapse of their government and economy and their seat at the head of the international table next to us.

Look at the map.  US/Israel and Syria/Russia/Iran.  If fighting starts in the Middle East (doesn't matter who starts it), assume that Iran will get involved.  Iran has Russia's backing, and China is the largest buyer of Iranian oil (throw India in there too).  China and Japan has some issues over a couple of shithole islands and then Kimmy in Korea Norte thinks he has China's backing in a war with SK.  Of course, I need not mention the defense pacts the US has with both SK and Japan.  Bombs start dropping in Damascas and I bet you Pyongyang and/or Senkaku conflicts might start heating up.  Russia is playing chess and the US is playing checkers.  One shot fired, one Franz Ferdinand moment, and the WWIII scenario falls into contolled chaos.

Last but not least, check out current carrier locations:

The US has two boats deployed, one in the Pacific and the other in the North Arabian Sea.  If a Norfolk-based carrier were to leave VA today, it's still about a week out from the Med.  I fear that all we have in theater are boomers, and B-2's in Whiteman AFB - but even those are likely forward deployed to Diego Garcia and/or Guam.  Obummer's in a bind, he's been caught flat footed, and Vlad knows it.  He'll send those weapons and we'll be complaining about Red Lines.  We're not dealing from a position of strength and I cannot think of a time that happened in the Cold War (except maybe U-2's getting shot down over Soviet airspace or early in the Korean war).  Vlad's got us in check.

I appreciate your perspective but politely disagree.  I don't think that Russia would look at a New World Order, a glabal central governing and economic body, even Goldman Sachs, any more differently than if they had a "Made in the USA" sticker on the bottom.  Russia has very isolationist tendencies (granted, I can think of several situations where they've thrown those aside - Peter the Great, Napolean, Crimean, Russo-Japanese War, Afghanistan, etc.).  Putin, or any Russian leader, would likely view a NWO-type structure just as threatening as an American nuke.

I could get behind your theory that Russia may feel that American agression is due to America being a pawn of this "globalist agenda."  That said, I don't see Russia ceding control to any external force and there's a long history of precedent there - Mongols, Swedes, Hitler, Napolean.  Russia has always refused to be conquered from the outside and I feel that this cannot be ignored.

Americans may be willing to sell out to the NWO, if it exists, but I don't see the Russians doing it.

Yes, you are such an expert on Russian history, please tell us about how Russian history was written by German historians, and how the Romanovs' power base was from where again?  Siberia?  The Volga region?  Or was it closer to Germany and Poland, hence why St Petersburg was founded (an escape route back to the power base)

If history has shown anything its that you have to conquer Russia from the inside.  So I postulate, do you think Putin is running the show on his own over there?

The Russkies claim they built Petrograd (St. Pete) for two purposes - to provide a FOB and fortifications against Swedish incursions (modern day Peter and Paul Fortress), and to build the port facility and naval base on the Gulf of Finland.  I contend that it was also built to stroke Peter's ego, but that's a different story for a different day.

If I were to agree with your position that St. Pete was built as an escape route back to it's German and Polish power centers, which isn't a position I support, I would say that I could buy that they built St. Pete as a window/portal to the West.  Peter knew Russia was centuries behind the rest of Europe because of it's seclusion.  He wanted Russia to participate in the European economy, he wanted a navy that could protect His interests around the globe.  I don't think it was so he could import German brides for his future Romanov sons and grandsons.  That's just my opinion.

I don't believe Putin is ruling Russian with an autocratic fist.  I definitely believe his buddies have immense influence.  To say that Putin is controlled/influenced by the Oligarchs fails to recognize that Buffett, Gates, Immelt, Eric Schmidt, Dimon, etc., have plenty influence on Obama.  But, I do think that Putin has total control over his military, intelligence branches, media, and economy than any American President ever has.  So yes, in very simple terms, I do think Putin is running the show.

And what about Khodorkovsky's fortune, doesn't that indicate quite strongly who the predominant Oligarch in Russia really is (hint, he's not Russian or named Khodorkovsky, but Yuko's shares did pass to him...)

The presence of the S-300 in Damascus might force NATO to launch a ground attack on the eastern outskirts of Damascus from the northern Jordanian border, along which it has been arrayed since the beginning of the present war in Syria. This move may be complemented by means of an Israeli concentration of forces on the Golan heights, in order to force most Syrian forces to remain assigned to the western outskirts of Damascus, or else the Israeli forces could move on Damascus, thus complementing the NATO-Jordanian prong towards a pincer movement on Damascus. Details here:

Any new systems ordered will have no effect on the current civil war or intent, if any, of US, NATO, or Israeli intervention. First, it will take time for Russia to move the systems to Syria, even if they have already been manufactured. Second, the equipment will need to set up, and crews training to proficiency if they have any hope of becoming effective. Third, the US and Israel have countermeasures to make these systems ineffective in any event. I'm surprised the Syrians are wasting their money on this. It's probably a "Do Something!" response to the recent Israeli air attacks. It will not be an effective "Do Something!" at all.

People announce things that never will happen all the time. Remember, governments are largely incompetent. That's why I laugh at those conspiracy believers. Government, corporations, rich people, secret societies, are all just too incompentent to do much of anything of any complexity with any real intent. And usually, people are just reacting to events around them and not putting much real thought or rigor into their actions.

Isreal bombs Syria. . . ., there's no grand plan. Someone just saw a target of opportunity and took it. It only gets dangerous when people start to delude themselves they are actually in control. You can control a moment, you can control a small plot of ground if you have enough guns, but no one controls destiney.

Israel is slated to recieve the JSF in 2014.

There are not 50,000 Russians in Syria. And there are effecive countermeasures to the Russian system. A previously mention NATO exercise in 2012 included aircraft from France, Norway, Denmark, Germany, and Turkey. The US was not involved. The ECM systems involved were not top line.

The US and Isreal has had access to the SA-300 for a very long time. In my opinion there are highly effective countermeasures against this system. Russian gear, by and large, sucks. Their history of combat performance proves it.

I think the whole Syrian conflict was started to get land concessions from the new Syrian government to solve the Palestinian conflict once and for all - Israel cannot physically give the current Palestinian terrotires to a new country - it would split Israel into 2 countries that would be impossible to defend. And certainly no strong government in the region would ever make land concessions voluntarily - hence the war in Syria. I think that is its true purpose. A bonus is to take out Iran's ally and make a strike on Iran easier to achieve.

zh may love Assad but the reality is that Syria has been a family fiefdom for decades run by a tiny religious Shia minority and a huge secret police.  When the "Arab Spring" came along, the other 90% thought it was their turn.  Nice and simple - no CIA, Mossad, Illuminati, UFOs or conspiracies. Lest we forget, no one wanted Assad out - Israel, Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Jordan, the US.  At least he maintained stability even if was by abhorant means.

A Palestinian state was possible decades ago but Egypt and Jordan annexed their land and absolutely refused to consider a separate state, placing them in "refugee" camps and forbidding political activity.  Jordan went so far as to massacre tens of thousands.

My thoughts are the US (the Western Powers) has wanted to overthrow Iran and Syria for decades, and Israel is an ally in this effort.  We will continue to impose our will in the Middle East and everywhere else that has oil and natural gas, until oil and natural gas are no longer considered vital to our national security, or corporate profits.  If Saudi Arabia ever started selling their oil for Euros, Yuan, or gold, they would be on "the list" too.  I'm not saying the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is not important, only that energy is what drives the overall policies over there.

I have no doubt Russia is sending arms to Syria and God bless them for it. We've seen swiss arms shipped through quatar for the rebels, US arms shipped through  libya (now croatia). So fair is fair. A stray MOAB over incerlik airbase in turkey, the jordan syria border, the syra israeli border, doha quatar, riyadh saudi arabia would also help alot.

What one must wonder, is why Israel is overtly supporting a Al Quaeda / muslim brotherhood who will doubtlessly be committed to their destruction. This includes operating hospitals inside israel for al quaeda.

Makes one wonder if a force is at work trying to line up something biblical.

Not imminent by any means. At least not from my point of view. However to be fair Mrs. Cog does feel a greater sense of urgency than I.

But we both believe that by the time we sensed that the crap was about to hit the fan our ability to do everything we want to do might be severely hindered by capital controls, currency wars, martial law and so on. The bottom line was that since we do not know how this will play out, only that it will play out, we wanted to be in situ before and not wishing we were.

In this situation there is no such thing as too early.....just too late.

Much more rural than where we presently live. Higher elevation, no zoning laws for maximum flexibility and self sufficiency, small scattered local population but they are very capable of taking care of themselves and each other. Farm country up on a mountainous plateau. Plenty of acreage both cleared and wooded. Two sources of fresh water, no county water and sewer utilities to be dependent get the idea.

We wanted to integrate into the local community now rather than be strangers precisely when we needed friends.

The "no zoning law" was something both Mrs. Cog and I didn't consider as very important at first. In fact on the surface it appears to create disorder because a trailer park can be placed in front of a McMansion, making both appear to be out of place. In a world of row houses and manicured lawns conformity to the herd is all that counts.

But when it comes to trying to find any way possible to make a living or even just to put basic food stuffs on the table no zoning means that I can pretty much do as I want as long as it meets building codes. That is extremely valuable when the economy sustains maximum stress. What good is plenty of open land if zoning doesn't allow for farm animals or a shoe string business to be placed on your land?

Yes, but I don't mind so much this year. Cog has to get our deer fencing up before any earnest planting is undertaken. The temperature and weather conditions look to give us the same growing season that we have now, so it is the move itself and getting organized that will curtail our harvest.

No worries though, I have promised Cog there will be no interruption of radish production once we are there.

What the US wants? It'll keep the Zionist campaign contributions flowing to submissive US politicians, and in Lindsey Graham's case, buy another day where the Mossad won't be releasing the pictures of you being double penetrated.

...standing behind a bent over Lindsey Graham and penetrating him with two strapons, as John McCain, attired in a frilly bra and panties, sings into Lindsey's ear "bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran".

Massive Ordnance Penetrator is more than just a awsome porn name.... someone somewhere is itching to try out the new toys.

On the s300, Russia might be selling them some "software" to go with the hardware also.

A better video without the 80s infomercial syhth-pop.

A massive blast at a munitions dump in southern Cyprus has killed 12 people, including the commander of the country's navy, officials say.

A fire reportedly ignited about 100 containers holding confiscated Iranian explosives at the naval base at Zygi.

The fire spread to the island's largest power station. It has been knocked out, resulting in widespread power cuts.

Defence Minister Costas Papacostas and National Guard Chief Petros Tsalikides resigned over the accident.

President Dimitris Christopfias, who went to the area, described the explosion as "a catastrophe of biblical proportions".

He added: "We were devastated by this event, not so much by the material damage, but by the loss of human lives and the injury of many of our compatriots."

The dead also include the commander of the Evangelos Florakis naval base, police said. About 60 people were wounded in the blast.

Government spokesman Stefanos Stefanou said sabotage had been ruled out. [BBC 11th July 2011]

Israel wants National Guardsmen from the US to do the dirty work. After all it is what the USA is good for. Remember Leo Strauss and Albert Wohlstetter and their disciples Richard Perle and Wolfowitz......they know what Americans are good for.......knocking over Iraq, knocking over Libya, knocking over Syria.......all brawn and no brain......the brain is supplied from outside

Uncle Remus,

The best that Putin did was to pay off IMF loans and told them to get the Fucck out. He is doing this with the NGO's but rather clumsy.
