Guess What’s Hidden In The Immigration Bill? A National Biometric Database For Citizens

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Michael Krieger of Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

Oh just another eight hundred page “bipartisan” bill that nobody will read,  mainstream media will refuse to cover, and that will merely further destroy any remnants of freedom left in these United States.  Never forget the George Carlin quote on bipartisanship:

“Bipartisan usually means that a larger-than-usual deception is being carried out.”

From Wired:

The immigration reform measure the Senate began debating yesterday would create a national biometric database of virtually every adult in the U.S., in what privacy groups fear could be the first step to a ubiquitous national identification system.

Buried in the more than 800 pages of the bipartisan legislation (.pdf)  is language mandating the creation of the innocuously-named “photo tool,” a massive federal database administered by the Department of Homeland Security and containing names, ages, Social Security numbers and photographs of everyone in the country with a driver’s license or other state-issued photo ID.

This piece of the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act is aimed at curbing employment of undocumented immigrants. But privacy advocates fear the inevitable mission creep, ending with the proof of self being required at polling places, to rent a house, buy a gun, open a bank account, acquire credit, board a plane or even attend a sporting event or log on the internet. Think of it as a government version of Foursquare, with Big Brother cataloging every check-in.

“It starts to change the relationship between the citizen and state, you do have to get permission to do things,” said Chris Calabrese, a congressional lobbyist with the American Civil Liberties Union. “More fundamentally, it could be the start of keeping a record of all things.”

David Bier, an analyst with the Competitive Enterprise Institute, agrees with the ACLU’s fears.

“The most worrying aspect is that this creates a principle of permission basically to do certain activities and it can be used to restrict activities,” he said. “It’s like a national ID system without the card.”

Good thing the terrorists aren’t winning or anything.

And what better place to store all this data than at the NSA's brand new data center in the Utah foothills that has more storage capacity than any other data center on earth by an order of magnitude that is in itself almost unimaginable. "Wired" magazine online has a great article on the center - they're inventing new words to describe the amount of data they'll be able to warehouse.

The handwriting is already on the wall.  They (the despots and fascists in government, which is all of them) will be relentless as they're being with SOPA-like bills and if it doesn't pass this time they will sneak it through another way.  We are in for something much, much, much worse than Orwell or Huxley could have ever imagined.

It depends whether your glass is half-empty or half-full, Tom.  If they pull the plug on the internet now they will prove to everyone how desperate they are.  The expected result from Sandy Hook was for Americans to beg DHS to take away the scary scary guns.  It didn't happen!  Benghazi may well prove to be the speed-bump that sends Barry's low-rider into the ditch.  The great unknown variable is the percentage of the military that will mutiny when it starts to get real.  Trust us, behind closed doors TPTB are shitting bricks and unfortunately for them they aint gold.  Molon Labe!

Not so sure.  When they get this internet version 6 (enables 3.4×1038 ip addresses vs. only 4.3B addresses allocated with version 4) going and internet of things gets into full swing, the amount of data will be massive, maybe even too massive to manage even for the NSA.  Although it may prove a double-edged sword as alls sorts of interesting things will be enabled with IPv6 and IoT.  And not just for the surveillers.  But for the hackers and anybody else playing in that nascent field.  It will definitely be interesting though.  Some of the things i've read about it seem downright magical now but will be commonplace in the future.  Just like the internet now is commonplace, but the things it does were unimagineable not even 20 years ago.

Giving up your life for a concept that died out decades ago?

Staying in America for long-dead concepts of "freedom", "liberty", "constitution", "bill of rights", etc,  when 99% of people around you no longer care about those things and will gladly give them up for (alledged) government protection and "fairness" just doesn't make much sense to me.  I would leave if I had the resources to do so.

Making a stand and committing suicide are not the same thing.

If there's a chance to change things, I say you're right.  But if all that happens is you die in a shoot out with poilce and they tear you down on the news channels with your picture on the screen,... no, it's not worth it.

There are other ways of accomplishing change without killing yourself.

You cannot live in peace with people who do not recognise you have rights. You cannot live in peace with people who believe that they have the right to enslave you.

Nothing will  change those attitudes except  force. Force is the only thing that stops bullies, and essentially  that is what these people are. Stunted intellectually and emotionally in grade school and lashing out at the more sucessful, using the government (and its guns)  as a weapon.

If one thug dies in the assault on your home, there is one less thug to attack the next guy's house.  That isn't suicide. Its Sacrifice.

Run the race that will lead to nowhere fast
Trapped in the haze of this mindless false reality
Wandering a path laid out by fools
That they call "progression" where chaos rules

There is more to life than this
We are more than just this flesh
We are alive and our time has come
For a new awakening

Come death, come suffering, I will not live in fear
In this fleeting life where time escapes us
The path of least resistance is a slow, quiet death
I'd rather burn out than fade away

There is more to life than this
We are more than just this flesh
We are alive and our time has come
For a new awakening

I would rather die than live my life in fear
Out of step, no regrets in the new awakening

I will not live in fear
Live life with no regrets
I will not live in fear

There is more to life than this
We are more than just this flesh
We are alive and our time has come
For a new awakening

I'd rather burn out than fade away

Killswitch Engage - The New Awakening

Just seemed fitting to this conversation.

NOTHING WILL CHANGE UNTIL WE CHANGE. "Building a revolution to heal nations starts within YOU" Killwitch Engage - Self Revolution.

The internet is a false paradigm. Somehow, we have managed to entrench it in every part of our lives. It's a great tool; that's all it is a tool. You can't live your life vicariously though the computer screen. Nor can it be lived through TV. The only reason this current psy-op WE live within succeeds; is because we allow it to persist.

Get outside, turn off the TV. Interact with other human beings. Talk to them, see how they feel about current events. Spread the truth.

Open their eyes; open your eyes. Open their mind; open your mind. Help them realize we are ALL in this life together. What's good for you is good for me.

We need to see these perpetrators whom wish to do us harm with EYES WIDE OPEN

"Become the change you have been looking for" Killswitch Engage - Time will not Remain

TLDR; We are fucked until we stop dividing our selves, and unite.

Leave? And go where? To another country where most people don't recognize those concepts either? America still has the highest concentration of people who do value them. They are a minority for sure. But then the First Revolutionary war was won with 3% of the population and maybe another 10% providing direct support to those who were fighting.

America is one of the few remaining places where this minority group still has guns. This  group will not give them up, and will die bleeding out in their driveways if that is how it goes.  They would rather  die fighting for liberty  than die of old age after decades of being  enslaved to a tribe of self-righteous, narcissitc liberals who adhere to the philopshy of the NAZIs :"Gemeinnutz geht vor Eigennutz"  Why wait to die till the Barbarians  decide to sacrifce you on their alter of good intentions? Why die serving their purposes? If that works for you  then go. We certainly don't need you here. The debt is a ticking time bomb, and the dollar  collpase will have world wide effects.  If you can pass for Native somewhere, you might make it, butt American refugees are going to be (rightly) despised the world over.  TPTB are running out of time to get the police state in place before the collapse.  and  in thier rush, they will set off a new  Civil War.

Is your liberal neighbor willing to die to make you have healthcare? To ensure you don't drink a 32 oz soda? I doubt it. They vote for those things because they think a government stands between them and those whose freedom and rights they wish to violate. They aren't willing to go house ot house personally  and risk getting killed to make it happen.  They are happy to have others do it, at no or little cost to them.. but probably won't volunteer. As the dollar collapses, they may take the job out of desperation, but then they will be trying to avoid being shot and do as little as is required. . They are mercenaries fighting for money, not for a cause.  Patriots, on the other hand, have one that is a little more noble than "Use the govt as a weapon to enslave your neighbor so you can get free stuff"

If  the govt comes for the patriots, you can be assured the patriots will come for the liberals that gave the govt its power- and they are all concentrated and depenant upon the fragile city infrastructure. Rome is going to burn.  Its going to be bloody, and the outcome is not a forgone conclusion.   Even if this happens driveway by driveway, there are MILLIONS of patriots- they don't have a force large enough to contend with losing a person at each house.  If they deploy tanks and drones, you can bet the patriots will make use of houses owned by liberals who depend on that same army to save  them, and then the  liberals will finally understand that thier God Government, really isn't terribly interested in protecting  them.

They will implement this shit everywhere. In Europe things are not much different. The Netherlands is the country where relatively speaking the most wiretaps in the world occur. Every high profile crime case is used as a reason to propose setting up DNA banks for 'the common good'. Drones are being used by the police for 'our own protection'.

The idea is to create a panopticon society where the population will autocensor and autoadjust itself to become 'good citizens'.

Yep, been gone for so many I forgot,

It's simply too late, ... like 1938 nazi germany, if you didn't get out pre-1938, you were fucked ( dead ).

Financially for everyone, its now simply too late to get out of the USA. New controls for moving money, are all watched by TIA ( total information awareness - poindexter - raygun/bush ).

Happy and glad to be gone for many years, and NO regrets I used to go back every few years to take care of biz, but now I don't even want to go back for anything, always fear they may not let me leave.

On the note of 'best place to go', ... let's just say that is a quick way to destroy a nice place.

Just about anywhere on the earth is better than the USA, shit I have lived in China and the capitalism there is far better.

I think faber ( thailand/hk ), roger's ( singapore ), have the right idea, ... like faber has said, "if I were young I would live in a place with 4 wive's, ..." yep, ... lots of places like this, why not live where you can have a wife 1/4 your age, and more than one!

Most telling about not living in the USA, is most cops are too busy chasing pussy to bother with NAZI shit like in the USA. Most 3rd world country's can't afford spy camera's on every corner,

The USA became a police state in the mid 1980's ( american what went wrong - bartlette&steele ), if your still in the USA in 2013, your FUCKED.

If you didn't get your CASH out 5+ years ago, ... your fucked.

Let's see for myself ..

Live in a beautiful place, beautiful wife 1/3 my age,
$50/month for a nice house, that include internet, power, water
medical is almost free its so cheap,
$20/year for vehicle insurance,
just ride a bike everyday, and get all the pussy I want,
can walk/drive,... around drunk anytime I want and never have a problem with the cop's, for they're MORE drunk than anyone else, ...

The essential problem with the USA, is its just not FUN anymore the NAZI MOFU's have made everything suck dick, and bad. OBAMA is the perfect example of shit eating lies that USA represents. He's not the problem, he's a symptom of the fucked up entitlement society.

It's all about gold, glory, and girls. In the USA the gold is gone ( easy riches by hard-work are over ), ... the glory will only get you a visit by FBI or IRS, and the fucking girl's, my god, fuck a USA woman and sign away your life saving's, ...

Nope the USA is the worst fucking place on the whole fucking planet earth.

Proof of self being required at

  • buy a gun - CHECK,
  • open a bank account - CHECK, even if you already have an account at the same bank
  • acquire credit - CHECK
  • board a plane - CHECK
  • or even attend a sporting event or log on the internet - not yet
  • ALSO need Passport ID to get a job; tip waste at the dump if it is in a trailer or 4x4; sell scrap metal; instruct a solicitor or an accountant to do any kind of work for you; use major libraries; carry large amounts of cash (pretty much a non-no now because they assume if you have cash you must be a criminal);

I carry my passport and a utility bill for proof of address all the time, it saves having to remember when I need them I predict the big one will be gasoline. Not able to buy gasoline with cash; must use credit card registered with the government. That's my guess. It would mean you can't travel if they don't want you to.

What is everyone afraid of?

This is a good thing in that it will go hand-in-hand with the eventual single payer healthcare system as a way to maintain everyones' medical records.

I'm quite happy with my medical records, scant as they are, remaining only with my chosen doctor, thank you very much.

If the government thinks they need them for some particular purpose, then they can "show cause" and politely ask for them...each and every time they think it is necessary.

If your doctor carries one of those little electronic note pads or a lap top around with him or her during your visit...your on the grid baby.

If you see a doctor and your payment source is anything other than self-pay, then you're certainly in the system.  Some doctors will keep electronic medical records even for self-pay clients.  If this is important to you, then you'd better be sure on the front end how your doctor retains records.

The time savings for electronic medical billing dictates that virtually every medical services provider, from a solo practice on up, submits your billing electronically to every insurance company.  Even if you file a paper claim, the insurance company scans it into the grid.

Many true Jewish people understood the significance and were against this...

1948: In the Spring of this year, the Rothschilds bribe President Harry S. Truman (33rd President of the United States 1945 – 1953) to recognize Israel (Rothschild owned Zionist not Jewish territory) as a sovereign state with $2,000,000 which they give to him on his campaign train.

They then declare Israel to be a sovereign Jewish state in Palestine and within half an hour President Truman declared the United States to be the first foreign nation to recognize it.

The Flag of Israel is unveiled. Despite tremendous opposition the emblem on the flag is a blue colored version of the Rothschild, "Red Hexagram or Sign."

This angers many Jews who realize this Hexagram was used in the ancient mystery religions as the symbol of, "Moloch," (described as a demon of unwilling sacrifice and is also interestingly the name of the stone owl the elite worship at Bohemian Grove), and, "Astaroth," (described as the Lord Treasurer of Hell).

The Hexagram was also used to represent Saturn, which has been identified as the esoteric name for, "Satan." This indicates that anyone killed in the name of Israel is actually a sacrifice to Satan. These dissenting Jews believe the, "Menorah," the oldest Jewish symbol should be used and pointed out that the Hexagram is not even a Jewish symbol, but of course as the Rothschild Zionists use it that is what ends up on the Rothschild, I mean Zionist, I mean Israeli flag.

According to one report I read, there are now more than 800,000 with top level security clearances.  Home Land Security is estimated to employ nearly 200,000 and has another 200,000 private contractors.  These various agencies generate over 50,000 reports.  Most go unread by the decision makers.

Lower level Feds knew about the 9/11 hijackers before the attack and the information got lost in the FBI labyrinth.  The same thing was true about the Boston Marathon bombers.  Billions spent, Constitution run through a shredder and nothing has changed.

We created Al Qaeda and it came back and bit us in the ass.   We are creating multiple fiefdoms of Pretorian Guards.  Internecine warfare between these agencies is inevitable.    Here at the end of the empire, we are going to witness many permutations of the Night of Long Knives.

The TRUE purpose of AW (Assymetric Warfare) is to raise the Operating Costs & Complexity until (a) the folly of the beast is plain for all to see, and (b) the machine collapses under its own weight.  Normally this would have happened by now for any other country, but given USA's unique position of printing virtually enless amounts of dollars (Global Reserve Currency), it can keep "paying".

"They" also know that others have figured this out, and if they can't bribe, buy out or bully an opponent, they will then liquidate any person, group or country that threatens their petro-dollar dominance.  They will and are doing Anything + Everything to keep the monstrosity going.

Hmmm....crickets/

so, where CF simply quotes a bite from Dick Eastman's anti-usury finance manifesto... making no mention of 'jews' or any other term which could remotely be construed as 'anti-semitic'(aka... critical of those of demonstrably non-semitic origins but who cloak themselves in the convenient garb of 'hebraicism')...

FS gets a big wet kiss for making consistent and unmistakeable references to 'jews' n 'joobucks', n all kinds of joooicy noises of the kind that make ADL censors n lawyers faint with delight!

Koinkidink///or KONspiracy? We 'paranoics' would like to know!

Perhaps,in spite of(or because of?!?!?!?) this new age of ZH policies n practices... it's time to rip off the manhole covers and descend into the sewers of cabbalistic talmudist hegelian dialectical divide n rule diversionary doctrine!

Where lurks the code words of the cabbalist fusioncon\con-fusion centers... like "stormfront" -

coding: nasty bad places were 'white racial supremacists go to spew toxic race hatred! right Kito? And yet... on closer inspection... what do these nests of neo-nazis invariably turn out to be? We 'paranoics' would like to know! ...

confirmed: 80% or better of so-called white supremacist sites and organizations are manifestly talmudist organized and controlled 'fronts' with which the cabbalist continuum wages their culture wars campaign to dissumulate... disorganize... and delude peeples from acting pon what their own eyes tell them to be true! Famous frauds like "Frank Collins"( Francis Joseph Cohen), "Bill White"(William Weiss) and the rest of the rogues gallery of ridiculous and inept phony "national socialist white supremacists" all trace back to the usual suspects kito.

So what's a 'paranoic' person gots to think when they see a selective dissing motif which supports the cabbalistic-leninist 'controlled opposition' trope??? The dumbgoy kept in the dark from realizing that this is all about economic power... rather than race or religion...may not be quite as dumb as what they's supposed to be no more... and may even cotton on eventually to the fact that only one group in this world today proudly and openly announces the program of racialist hegemony... without being just another false front!

You need to replace whoopi's coffee mug with 250mg of diazepam francis.

Do you realize just about everyone has been trying to get you to stop from blowing your 'effing foot off?

Why? Because they don't want you to go bye-byes.

But you reacted badly or over-reacted to every one.

Well, go right ahead, Tyler doesn't want to lose TIME (no not just money, he emphasized TIME) in fighting unnecessary legal battles, so that he can keep operating zh as per normal, to do what he does.

So selfish, no?

I guess the 'real' Tyler would have copped a pounding in the basement of the Bar by the owner, to secure zh because, "but we like it here Lu", maybe, but this is not Hollywood (almost said the other word there), so lighten the fuck up francis.
