IRS Acting Commissioner Resigns

Tyler Durden's picture

The first scapegoat is out, and contrary to expectations, no it was not Fabrice Tourre and Bruno Iksil:

Goodbye Steven Miller: we hardly knew thee. No really. It is unclear as of this writing what Steve's severance package, and how big his (tax-free of course) lifetime public pension will be.

In a possibly related matter, it is also unclear in just which office Goldman's latest, in-house tax consultant hire will reside.

Corruption is an equal opportunity employer.

Hell, we'll even allow bankstas into the club.

nmewn's picture

lol...good one...he had no idea! The "I'm completely clueless" defense...very reassuring.

And who is this Ben Ghazi guy everyone keeps talking about? Is he a film maker? Is he on the donors list?

Say What Again's picture

Ben Ghazi?  Oh that's Al Gebra's cousin.

Hint to trollers;  They both live in a suburb outside of Boston.

Clealy they want to bury this one quick.

But, keep your eyes on Benghazi, that's where we had four killed.

dobermangang's picture

What is this Benghazi you speak of???  I've never heard about it on the news.

DoChenRollingBearing's picture

Guess Benghazi did not make the news, as Shillary knew nothing about it, anyway, what difference does it make?

Rest of Constitution and Bill of Rights was and they ignore the shit out of that "God damn piece of paper."

Though for amusement I encourage anyone so inclined to watch the various videos of IRS crats that have been pigeonholed and asked "what law makes the income tax legal?"

Nothing but spin, dodge, threats and obfuscation.

Try this one:

Lew Rockwell ?

We wish.

He'd close D.C. down completely.

knukles's picture

Betcha there's a good chance that before all the shit with Benghazi, IRS and press telephone calls is over that Holder hisself is thrown to the wolves, resigns and is granted immunity from prosecution ...

And in the really good news column, Slick Willy has yet to be heard from... Oh, the love between the Clintons and Obamas ... Should be a great show

Next up, a national popcorn shortage

DoChenRollingBearing's picture

Yes, a popcorn shortage now.  Gold, ammo and now popcorn.  What's next?  (truth...?)

Everybodys All American's picture

Thought of that myself in regard to the Clinton's. Would it not be appropriate for some AP reporter to ask ole Bill for a statement on Hillary and Benghazi?

Yes, this bozo was leaving anyway, another not very bold move by King Barry meant to lull the sheeple into believing all is now well.

A lot of streetlights in DC...'jus sayin'.  ;)

Zymurguy's picture

Radio program this morning stated that he is NOT resigning... his commission ends in June and has sent emails to Obama stating that he plans to finish his term.

That bullshit on TV was just another instance of this administration lying to us.

Timmay is reported to be writing a book. The problem is, I don't think timmay can read or write.

The bastard hasn't even been confirmed and now he has to suffer. No food for his family. No money. No honor. No Obama administration Rolex.

Guess he'll have to settle for that $250K per year job as a lobbyist for Soros.

We need public caning in this country.

Public beheadings would cut this shit out way quicker.

This is like asking an ant to bury an elephant shit. What a freaking joke. Welcome to the Banana Republic of the United States. As so aptly created by Hank Paulson and George W. Bush.

I didn't down vote you....but let's get real honest the words of George Carlin....who got it right on who to blame.

"That is one thing you might've noticed I don't complain about: Politicians. Everybody complains about politicians. Everybody says they suck. But where do the people think these politicians come from? They don't fall out of the sky. They don't pass through a membrane from another reality. They come from american parents and american families, american homes, american schools, american churches, american businesses and american universities. and they're elected by american citizens. This is the best we can do, folks. This is what we have to offer. It's what our system produces: Garbage in, garbage out! If you have selfish, ignorant citizens, if you have selfish, ignorant citizens, you are gonna get selfish, ignorant leaders. The term limits ain't goinna do any good; you're just going to end up with a brand new bunch of selfish, ignorant Americans. So maybe, maybe, maybe it's not the politicians who suck. Maybe something else sucks around here. Like... the public. Yeah. The public sucks! There's a nice campaign slogan for somebody. "The public sucks, fuck hope!". Fuck hope. Because if it's really just the fault of these politicians then where are all the other bright people of conscience? Where are all the bright, honest, inteligent americans ready to step in and save the Nation and lead the way? We don't have people like that in this country; everybody's at the mall, scratching his ass, picking his nose, taking his credit card out of his fanny pack and buying a pair of sneakers with lights in them! So I have solved this little political dilemma for myself in a very simple way: On election day... I stay home. I don't vote. Fuck'em, fuck'em! I don't vote. Two reasons, two reasons I don't vote: First of all, is meaningless. This country was bought and sold and paid for a long time ago. The shit they shuffle around every 4 years, *pfff* doesn't mean a fucking thing. And secondly I don't vote because I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain. People like to twist that around, I know. They say: "Well, if you don't vote, you have no right to complain"; but where's the logic in that? If you vote and you elect dishonest, incompetent people and they get into office and screw everything up... well, you are responsible for what they have done. You caused the problem; you voted them in; you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who did not vote, who in fact did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain as long as I want about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with. So I know that a little later on this year you're going to have another of those really swell presidential elections that you like so much, you enjoy yourselves it'll be alot of fun. I'm sure that as soon as the election is over your country will improve immediately. As for me, I'll be home that day doing essentially the same thing as you. The only difference is, when I get finished masturbating I'm gonna have a little something to show for it folks. Thank you very much."
