We are sure every effort has been undertaken to ensure Mr. Erdogan's visit (Iran Gold or not) was a success but just in case there was any confusion if the administration has learned anything as a result of the scandals in the past week, the following tweet from CBS' White House correspondent Mark Knoller should add insight on just how much more transparent the administration is and how seriously it takes the freedom of the press...

I had to read this twice just to catch it... which is exactly like these 'press conferences'.
I have found watching these press conferences to be very useful in my weight loss program. I tape them and then replay them just before meal time. One's loss of appetite is amazing....and with no drugs. I do ned to warn, however, the side effect is suicidal depression....fortunately DHS has removed part of that danger since I cannot obtain ammo for my gun.

They ask the DMV if anything is going on and the DMV tells them nothing to see here. I then have to get lawyers and gather evidence and 2 years later when I have irrefutable evidence, the DMV apologizes to me that this one rogue clerk, in one DMV branch, was targeting specific individuals. Do I feel all comfy now?
