What Did Obama Know About The IRS (And When)?

Tyler Durden's picture

Amid the sound and fury of yesterday's IRS hearing were a few small tidbits which raise significant questions about who knew what and when within the Obama administration. While getting the answer (the real honest truth) is highly unlikely, as the Wall Street Journal notes, the IRS's watchdog told top Treasury officials around June 2012 (when Republican lawmakers were complaining publicly about alleged IRS targeting of tea-party groups) he was investigating allegations the tax agency had targeted conservative groups, for the first time indicating that Obama administration officials were aware of the explosive matter in the midst of the president's re-election campaign. The revelation nonetheless raised a fresh set of questions about who was aware of the problem within the Obama administration. However, the hearing left numerous other fundamental questions unanswered, including who ordered the targeting and why it continued so long, pointing to a protracted investigation ahead as Rep. Paul Ryan exclaimed, "how can we not conclude that you misled this committee?" As Doug Ross' full timeline below suggests, this is fascism on the part of the IRS and White House...

Via Doug Ross of Director Blue blog,

Reading this timeline, I have come to three conclusions:

  1. Steve Miller lied to Congress
  2. Lois Lerner lied to Congress
  3. Barack Obama lied to the American people

This scandal has the fingerprints of Axelrod, Jarrett and/or the Chicago Machine all over it.

This is fascism on the part of the IRS and the White House. It is fascism, straight up.

Or, as I call the IRS: Organizing for Revenue.

Via The Wall Street Journal,

The Internal Revenue Service's watchdog told top Treasury officials around June 2012 he was investigating allegations the tax agency had targeted conservative groups...

...

The revelation nonetheless raised a fresh set of questions about who was aware of the problem within the Obama administration.

...

the agency had taken "absolutely inappropriate" actions in targeting conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status for often heavy-handed scrutiny.

...

The hearing left numerous other fundamental questions unanswered, however, including who ordered the targeting and why it continued so long, pointing to a protracted investigation ahead. Mr. Miller conceded the agency likely disciplined the wrong employee in one effort to address the problem.

...

House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R., Mich.), "I think the most interesting revelation was the overall arrogance of the IRS and the lack of information from somebody who was in charge,"

...

White House officials say they learned about the targeting of conservative groups from the report, and not before. President Barack Obama on Thursday said, "I can assure you that I certainly did not know anything about the IG report before the IG report had been leaked through the press."

...

At the hearing, lawmakers of both parties expressed anger that IRS officials didn't reveal the problems to them in 2012.

...

then-commissioner Douglas Shulman about that in March 2012. He testified before the Ways and Means committee then that there was "absolutely no targeting,"...

...

"Throughout this time, the IRS leadership has demonstrated a total disregard for the oversight role of the Congress and this committee," said Rep. Sander Levin

...

"How was that not misleading this committee?" said Rep. Paul Ryan (R., Wis.) to Mr. Miller. "How can we not conclude that you misled this committee?"

...

Obama should be impeached for not knowing.

Obama should be impeached for knowing and covering it up.

Obama should be impeached for not knowing and covering it up.

Obama should be impeached for probably 20 other things we don't even know about.

If he's impeached, it's because they have a reason that has nothing to do with the list above.

Biden is from Delaware, which happens to be where many large banks, credit card issuers and other financial (and large non-financial) corporations are incorporated.  He would never be elected Prez on his own accord.  Wonder why he was chosen for VP after the 2007 melt-down?

Obama's voters RECEIVE money collected by the IRS, the don't EVER write a check to the IRS.

The IRS is THE "benefits collector" for the modal Obama voter.

Why should a net receiver of entitlements have any issue wih ANY level of coercion used to collect THEIR ENTITLEMENTS?

The better the modal Obama voter understands what has happened the LESS they will care.

Did you catch the little slip in Holder's testimony on AP-Gate last week?

He claimed that the record gathering on AP reporters was because of a 'credible threat against the safety of the American people'. Then, moments later, he said that Obummer didn't know about the inquiry into AP phone records until he read about it the same day as the rest of us.

Obviously something stinks... either our executive branch appointees don't tell our president when there are credible threats against the American people or... the asshole knew all along.  These people can't be this stoopid, can they? (/s)

No, but as Everybody Knows, they the puppetry can be this corrupt and criminalistic in the deeds and actions that manifest from the banksters play book.

The dis/mis-information people get from the babylonians is the crux and major clog in the whole log jam that is more responsible for the mass mind being so controlled and manipulated than anything. One holds a vision that there are worlds where this is non-existent, and the media of those worlds really do the job they have the tiles for. They actuality report the truth, which is far more interesting that than outdated 3-D lies & deceptions for the greedy gains and agendas of the few. How darn monkey-man is that? Eeep eeepp~!

Maybe there is hope that before it all falls completely apart, the truth will shine it's light brighter than the constant lies and distortions in the news organizations. These supposed leaders should tell the American people the truths about banksterism and let the people decide how much longer the world should be held in the prisons of the debt-money-god. Sure not holding the breath on that one for sure, eh!

Speaking of "Dick" Holder and the DOJ, here's a snippet of the latest shit they are pulling on their employees over there, soon to be in a workplace near you.

http://www.wnd.com/2013/05/doj-on-gays-silence-will-be-interpreted-as-disapproval/

"Our sources have provided Liberty Counsel an internal DOJ document titled: “LGBT Inclusion at Work: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Managers.” It was emailed to DOJ managers in advance of the left’s so-called “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month.”

The document is chilling. It’s riddled with directives that grossly violate – prima facie –employees’ First Amendment liberties.

Following are excerpts from the “DOJ Pride” decree. When it comes to “LGBT pride,” employees are ordered:

  • “DON’T judge or remain silent. Silence will be interpreted as disapproval.” (Italics mine)

That’s a threat.

And not even a subtle one.

Got it? For Christians and other morals-minded federal employees, it’s no longer enough to just shut up and “stay in the closet” – to live your life in silent recognition of biblical principles (which, by itself, is unlawful constraint). When it comes to mandatory celebration of homosexual and cross-dressing behaviors, “silence will be interpreted as disapproval.”

Not that I like jumping into this mud, but exactly how are first amendment rights being violated here?

Working for anyone, even the Imperial Federal Government, is not a right.  It is a privilege.

Said privilege may have constraints attached to it.

Note that this is the norm in North Korea, where if you don't turn out to cheer at a state event, you go to the Gulag to die.

again "the keyword is BI partisan." in order for removal to be the word both parties must agree to it. this is the ULTIMATE in political decisions...the bar for impeachment since Clinton seems rather low actually. thus i turn my attention to POLICY decisions that are being made (response to the Boston Massacre, oversight of the media, review of policy decisions vis a vis Israel) as paramount in these matters. In short "blowing off McCain/Feinstein is a bad idea." did i say repeatedly? with the lowest turnout election since the Great Depression the publius is hungry for something big and public...there is no better way than a good fashioned "arrogance of power" regime since by its very nature power is arrogant..."but must be expressed appropriately." good luck with that. from where i'm sitting this thing is wide open right now and could go anywhere. as i've maintained a consistently uber bullish view on equities since the low in 2008 so i have maintained a consistent view that doing anything that pisses off pure military is a REALLY bad idea. unlike Vietnam where when we left "it was over" this one is going to last 1000 years "and has only just begun." it is again in my view a war of choice...there were no WMD's in Iraq. "don't be the one held responsible for it." just my personal view of course...still waiting for those who think otherwise of course. easy to get caught in the trap of "all American wars end" as everyone till this one have of course.

Sorta the last thing that could ever happen, and who could ever really lead America back to prosperity anyways. Any ideas?

And speaking of fast and furious..

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/01/17/Holder-begs-court-to-...

Judicial Watch had filed, on June 22, 2012, a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking all documents relating to Operation Fast and Furious and “specifically [a]ll records subject to the claim of executive privilege invoked by President Barack Obama on or about June 20, 2012.”

The administration has refused to comply with Judicial Watch’s FOIA request, and in mid-September the group filed a lawsuit challenging Holder’s denial. That lawsuit remains ongoing but within the past week President Barack Obama’s administration filed what’s called a “motion to stay” the suit. Such a motion is something that if granted would delay the lawsuit indefinitely.

...

The only justification Holder uses to ask the court to indefinitely delay Judicial Watch’s suit is that there’s another lawsuit ongoing for the same documents – one filed by the U.S. House of Representatives. Judicial Watch has filed a brief opposing the DOJ’s motion to stay.

That is only the tip of the iceberg with the EPA. Does this remind you of a certain historical dictorial statist and one of the methods they used towards building a super race. Granted it is an older story from October of 2012 but with the EPA up next might as well bring it back into the spotlight.

http://joemiller.us/2012/10/lawsuit-epa-conducted-gas-chamber-like-exper...

An Eco-Fascist Gassing Experiment with Diesel Fumes at the EPA

By Mark Musser. [T]he EPA has been conducting human experiments on people by piping diesel fumes from a running truck mixed with air into their lungs at a North Carolina university. The agency has ginned up yet another green crusade — the lethal dangers of diesel fumes. They even had a gas chamber set up to accommodate the environmental research project that shockingly recalls the death camps in Poland.

Not surprisingly, the EPA is now in the process of being sued for conducting dangerous experiments on human guinea pigs. The courts will decide whether or not serious laws and practices were violated, including the international Nuremberg Code that was set up after sixteen Nazi doctors were executed for medical terrorism. After the barbaric fallout of Nazi Germany, where many people were treated like experimental animals, the Nuremberg Code was designed to be an international governing set of principles to regulate the practice of human experimentation. The whiff of the Jewish holocaust is therefore unmistakable.

When the Nazis found out how difficult it was in practice to shoot so many Jews on the Eastern Front at the outset of the war, they switched to gassing them en masse at death camps with engine fumes. Such gassing methods became notorious at Treblinka, where almost one million Jews were killed.

In the early part of the war, the infamous commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolf Hoess, visited Treblinka. Hoess testified at Nuremberg that the Treblinka motor room used tank and truck engines to pipe diesel fumes into the gas chambers. According to Hoess, it usually took about half an hour before the gas chambers fell silent. Another half-hour passed before the doors were opened.

Hoess commented that the engine fumes at Treblinka were not always entirely effective in killing the Jews. While all the victims fell unconscious, many of them were still alive and had to be shot afterwards. Adolf Eichmann told Hoess that they were experiencing the same problems in other death camps at the time. Auschwitz used Zyklon B, which was far more effective. Read more from this story HERE.

The EPA’s Disturbing Human Experiments

By Arnold Ahlert. If the shocking allegations contained in a lawsuit filed last Friday by responsible science advocate Steven Milloy are accurate, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a major scandal on its hands. As reported by the National Legal and Policy Center, Milloy initiated litigation in U.S. District Court in Virginia, based on evidence he accumulated via the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). He alleges that the EPA engaged in disturbing experimentation that deliberately exposed human beings to airborne particulate matter the agency itself considers lethal. The experiments were conducted at EPA’s Human Studies Facility at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. “That EPA administrator Lisa Jackson permitted this heinous experimentation to occur under her watch shocks the conscience,” said Milloy.

The suit accuses the EPA of paying as many as 41 participants $12 an hour to breathe in concentrated diesel exhaust, for as long a two hours at a time. The exhaust was directly piped in from a truck parked outside the Chapel Hill facility. According to the lawsuit, the fine particulate matter, called “PM2.5,” was piped in at levels 21 times greater than what the EPA calls its “permissible limit.”

Yet even that phrase is misleading. In testimony delivered to Congress in September of 2011, EPA chief Lisa Jackson claimed that exposure to fine particulate matter of 2.5 microns–or less–was lethal. ”Particulate matter causes premature death. It’s directly causal to dying sooner than you should,” she testified at the time.

Milloy learned about the experiments last year, after reading about them in a government-supported scientific journal. In June, he filed a complaint with the North Carolina Medical Board, accusing Drs. Andrew Ghio and Wayne Cascio, both of whom were employed by the EPA, along with Dr. Eugene Chung, who worked for the University of North Carolina, of violating EPA standards of conduct in human research and the Hippocratic Oath. “During these experiments, the study subjects were intentionally exposed to airborne fine particulate matter (‘PM2.5?) at levels ranging from 41.54 micrograms per cubic meter to 750.83 micrograms per cubic meter for periods of up to two hours,” Milloy wrote to Dr. Ralph C. Loomis, president of the NC Medical Board. “The EPA also believes that PM2.5 is carcinogenic to humans,” he added.

Dr. David Schnare, a former EPA litigator who is now director of American Tradition Institute’s Environmental Law Center, which filed the lawsuit, painted a detailed and chilling picture of exactly how the experiments were conducted. “EPA parked a truck’s exhaust pipe directly beneath an intake pipe on the side of a building,” he revealed. “The exhaust was sucked into the pipe, mixed with some additional air and then piped directly into the lungs of the human subjects. EPA actually has pictures of this gas chamber, a clear plastic pipe stuck into the mouth of a subject, his lips sealing it to his face, diesel fumes inhaled straight into his lungs.” Read more from this story HERE.

Thanks for that, DCH.  It's the most egregious EPA act I've ever heard.  It seems more appropriate to an assisted suicide group than a governmental agency whose mission has something to do with environmental protection.

CO poisoning is an efficient way to kill someone if you get the level right.  It sounds like they only did enough to cause cardiac irritation.  Those test subjects probably had one hell of a headache too, but that didn't get mentioned.  CO has an affinity for hemoglobin 250-300 times that of oxygen, so the oxygen gets bumped off the red blood cells in a hurry and the effect lasts for a couple of hours.  Death comes from hypoxia, or lack of oxygen.  Hyperbaric chambers are used in CO poisoning to provide 100% oxygen under pressure because it forces the oxygen back onto the hemoglobin and displace the CO.

But maybe the EPA mission is beginning to blend:  Protect the environment by getting rid of the humans!  (Seems slow doing it one at a time.  They'd need a chamber... yeah, a chamber, right?)

You are more right than you know..... Obamacare is part of the population reduction program, just wait until next year when no one can see a doctor who is enrolled in an Obamacare or Medicare plan. Remember the Nazi's targeted the elderly and mentally unstable first. Using controlled substances like psychotropic drugs aka being conflated with mentally unstable people without due process for gun control and this and Obamacare and cutting the reimbursements for Medicare and wait until the seniors find out Medicare Plus is going to be phased out, is anyone putting one and one together yet. Sounds like a kinder gentler Hitler style population reduction program in action now don't it. Think of all the mentally unstable in need of help who will not go to get help now because of this and quietly suffer until they decide they can't take it anymore and suicide themselves. It is absolutely twisted but effective method like something out of a SAW movie.

Remember these socialists who are just closet nazis take every thing and invert it to do the opposite, like using diversity to force homogeneity aka gay rights while persecuting the Christians at the same time for example.

Yes, they are!  Have you read Ezekial Emanual's Complete Lives?  Obamacare truly is planned population reduction, the reduction of those who are considered less productive or useful to society exactly as any eugenecist regime would set the target.  People laughed at Sarah Palin when she insisted it contained death panels but she was essentially right.

I put these links in another post yesterday, along with what isn't quite as necessary now that I think of it:  Urging people to be certain to have their medical power of attorney and living will in place so that nothing is done to them that they don't want done.  In reality it will be the opposite:  You won't be able to get the care that you really desire.

Just to highlight since we are taking a little bit of a left turn from the IRS to EPA and Obamacare for the rest of the those tuning in. Some key points from Ezekiel J. Emanuel's wikipage. And no I haven't Jena but am now putting that one on the to read list for informational gathering purposes on what makes these type of socialist asshole types tick. Makes it easier to spot them and head them off before they become a problem in the future assuming they don't take enough of us in the ongoing passive aggressive fabian socialist style O'holocust. The Christians and military starting with the vets are up next in the population reduction program.

Emanuel graduated from Amherst College in 1979 and subsequently received his M.Sc. from the University of Oxford in Biochemistry. He simultaneously studied for an M.D. and a Ph.D. in Political Philosophy from Harvard University, receiving the degrees in 1988 and 1989, respectively.[11] Emanuel completed an internship and residency at Beth Israel Hospital in internal medicine. Subsequently, he undertook fellowships in medicine and medical oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute,[11] and is a breast oncologist.[1] Emanuel received dozens of honors and awards, including the Toppan Dissertation Prize, the Harvard award for best political science dissertation of 1988.[11][12]

...
Currently, Emanuel is acting as Special Advisor for Health Policy to Peter Orszag, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget.[13] The Office of Management and Budget's role is to assist the White House in the preparation and administration of the federal budget.[14] Emanuel entered the administration with different views from the president on how to reform health care, but is said by colleagues to be working for the White House goals.

...

In articles and in his book Healthcare, Guaranteed, Emanuel said that universal health care could be guaranteed by replacing employer paid health care insurance, Medicaid and Medicare with health care vouchers funded by a value-added tax. His plan would allow patients to keep the same doctor even if they change jobs or insurance plans. He would reduce co-payments for preventive care and tax or ban junk food from schools. He criticized the idea of requiring individuals to buy health insurance. However, he supports Obama's plans for health care reform, even though they differ from his own.

Might be part of the reason for attacking the IRS so they can abolish income taxes and replace the whole thing with a more socialist in nature tax aka a VAT tax. Best way to do is by undermining the IRS in a bigtime way like this. Remember these sociopaths play for the long run short term victories to groups like the Tea Party are okay if they foward long term socialist goals.

And more importantly and back to the controlled population reduction through Obamacare of the elderly.

....

In his book The Ends of Human Life[20] Emanuel used the AIDS patient "Andrew" as an example of moral medical dilemmas. Andrew talked to a local support group and signed a living will asking that life sustaining procedures be withdrawn if there is no reasonable expectation of recovery. The will was not given to anyone but kept in his wallet, and no one was given power of attorney. There were questions about his competence since he had AIDS dementia when he signed the will. Still, Andrew's lover said that he had talked about such situations, and asked that Andrew be allowed to die. Andrew's family strongly disagreed that Andrew wanted to die. Dr. Wolf previously saved Andrew's life, but promised to help him avoid a "miserable death". The ICU wanted guidance from Dr. Wolf as to how aggressively they should try to keep Andrew alive, as his chances of surviving a cardiac arrest were about zero. Two other critical patients were recently refused admission because of a bed shortage. There was a question as to whether Andrew's lover was representing Andrew's wishes or his own. There was also a question as to whether Andrew’s parents knew Andrew better than others, or whether they were motivated by guilt from rejecting Andrew's identification as a gay male. The cost of aggressive treatment was $2,000.00 per day.[20]

This dilemma illustrates the ethical challenges faced by even the most conscientious physicians, in addition to patient confidentiality, the meaning of informed consent, and the ethics of experimental treatments, transplanting genes or brain tissue. Also, while many agree that every citizen should be given adequate health care, few agree on how to define what adequate health care is. Many of these issues have become almost impossible to solve moral dilemmas. Babies that would be born with serious birth defects pose a serious moral dilemma, and medical technology makes it sometimes difficult to define what death is in the case of permanently brain damaged patients on respirators. There are also ethical questions on how to allocate scarce resources. However, the Hippocratic Oath is proof that medical technology is not the cause of medical questions about ethics.[20]

Emanuel said the Hippocratic Oath and the codes of modern medical societies require doctors to maintain client patient confidentiality, refrain from lying to a patient, and keep patients informed and obtain their consent, in order to protect the patient from manipulation and discrimination. Emanuel said that a doctor’s oath would never allow him to administer a lethal injection for capital punishment as a doctor, although the issue would be different if he were asked to serve on a firing squad not as a doctor but rather as a citizen. He said that in the case of mercy killing there are rare cases where the medical obligation to relieve suffering would be in tension with the obligation to save a life, and that a different argument (an argument that intentional killing "should not be used to achieve the legitimate ends of medicine") would be required instead.[20]

Emanuel said there is often a need to balance different values: As Emanuel said,[20]

To know whether it is ethical to turn off the respirator for a quadriplegic patient requires conceptions of personal identity, a worthy human life, murder and suicide; to know how much information a doctor must provide a cancer patient to obtain proper informed consent for an experimental therapy requires conceptions of autonomy, coercion and the public good and how to balance these values; to know whether to break the AIDS patient’s confidentiality and inform his wife requires a framework for weighing the relative importance of competing individual rights as well as the public good.

One reason such issues seem impossible to solve is because of the belief that public policy should be neutral, without trying to select one definition of the public good over another. Emanuel believes that "liberal communitarianism" could be the answer. Citizens, according to this view, should be given rights needed to participate in democratic deliberations based on a "common conception of the good life". For example, vouchers could be granted through thousands of Community Health Programs (CHPs), each of which would agree on its own definition of the public good. Each CHP would decide which services would be covered as basic, and which services would not be covered.[20]

...

Another fabian socialist from the Harvard Marxist indoctrination camp using patient rights, compassion and ethics in an inverted manner to reduce the population of the weak and elderly.... This is textbook fabian socialist societal destruction techniques right in line with Bill Ayers Prairie Fire Communist Manifesto.

Everyone can read it for themselves and determine if we are just a bunch of tinfoil hat wearing paranoia dickweeds or not.

I very much appreciate the discussion and information.

A lot of people with AIDS are able to be productive thanks to anti-retrovirals. They're expensive, sure, but the net cost isn't as bad as it could be and the PR of the HIV/AIDS groups is incredibly strong.

I think the first casualties will be those who aren't so easily seen, those mentally ill homeless who are drug and alcohol dependant, and who don't have people to be present at the hospital as advocates for them.

In the last year the resort communities in southern California near where I live have passed stricter laws about aggressive panhandling.  I just did a search of the same and saw that this is happening in Washington state and other blue states.  Pressure.  I only looked for a few pages but I didn't see any cities in any red states mentioned.  Lovely liberals.

When I worked in Level I and II trauma centers, it was common practice to do a CT scan and full cervical spine films on every drunk frequent flier who came into the ER with an apparent head injury and reported loss of consciousness.  (Whether that loss of consciousness had anything to do with the blood alcohol of .20 or above never came into question.)  Since those patients rarely paid their bills yet generally returned (often) to the same ER, their outstanding balances might be somewhere in the seven figures depending on when the claims were made to Medicare/Medicaid and whether they had been adjusted and paid.

With Obamacare, I suspect the trend will be to park them in holding and let them sleep it off before doing a physical exam to determine whether radiology is necessary.  Most will survive but some will have intracerebral bleeds that will be catastrophic.  Culling of the herd.

I'll add Emanuel's Healthcare, Guaranteed to my reading list.

Once again, I am so glad I am out of healthcare.

And to show just how derelict the EPA has been in their duties to regulate and protect... Keep in mind this from the Associated Press they are careful to leave out key pieces of information and place the bulk of the blame on Obama's favorite target. Goes to show they are still holding the fuckers water. Also another example of controlled population reduction targeting military members going on for a long time now,

http://www.masslive.com/news/index.ssf/2013/05/victims_marines_failed_to...

CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. — A simple test could have alerted officials that the drinking water at Camp Lejeune was contaminated, long before authorities determined that as many as a million Marines and their families were exposed to a witch's brew of cancer-causing chemicals.

But no one responsible for the lab at the base can recall that the procedure — mandated by the Navy — was ever conducted.

The U.S. Marine Corps maintains that the carbon chloroform extract (CCE) test would not have uncovered the carcinogens that fouled the southeastern North Carolina base's water system from at least the mid-1950s until wells were capped in the mid-1980s. But experts say even this "relatively primitive" test — required by Navy health directives as early as 1963 — would have told officials that something was terribly wrong beneath Lejeune's sandy soil.

...

Here is the dirty little secret the AP leaves out, the military bases water supplies are covered under the safe drinking water act which the EPA is in charge of making sure it is enforced. The law has been on the books since 1974.....  I am not saying the Navy Department isn't culpable in this either because they are but the AP is purposely trying to redirect the story away from the EPA. There is no other way to spin this one that doesn't alienate a core component of the liberal voting base aka yahoo environmentalist types that haven't figured out these people aren't liberals but Marxists specifically of the Fabian Socialist flavor. I wouldn't be surprised if this is another revelation related to some recent FOIA requests the EPA has to answer for in upcoming congressional hearings.

BTW more information for former or current Marines who served at Camp Lejeune.

Also since we are going off on tangents might as well take a smack at the Associated Press just to show how captured MSM is by the White House in general and how unfree the MSM press really is. This comes off a bit strong on the tinfoil hat slant but the basic point is valid.

http://www.pakalertpress.com/2013/05/18/media-now-openly-admitting-the-g...

A trio of Obama scandals has forced the corporate media admit its own reports are nothing more than the government-controlled talking points and not the product of a free and open press.

If you have been following the news lately you’ll notice there are 3 government scandals that the media is focusing on 1) The DOJ spying on the AP reporters 2) Benghazi gate 3) IRS targeting of activist groups.

While each of these are truly a damning indictment of the widespread corruption in our now gone rogue federal government, combing these three stories reveals an even bigger story which is recurring open admission by the media that the news they report is being controlled government.

These three scandals have led the media to rebel against the Obama administration in a way that it has not done in the past while at the same time forcing the media to admit some damning facts about the way news is truly originated in America.

The media’s reporting on the scandals has provided the public insights into the operations of the incestuous relationship between the press and the government.

Such revelations clearly suggest the corporate media is telegraphing to the public the American government has just gone way too far out of control.

These three scandals forced the corporate media to admit openly what has long been dismissed as merely conspiracy theory —  that the corporate media is now openly admitting that they are in fact controlled stenographers that do nothing more than echo pre-scripted narratives outlined in talking points created by the rulers of America’s shadow government.

To be absolutely clear, that is not hyperbole nor is it speculation. It’s a fact that the corporate media is now openly admitting their reporting on the Benghazi scandal over the last 8 months has been merely the parroting of statements given by government officials who were merely echoing talking points issued by the CIA.

By now just about every news organization has repeatedly reported the story about how those CIA issued talking points were edited 12 times by various people in the shadow government before they were given to figureheads to relay to the press who in turned echoed them to the masses.

This is a direct admission that the false narrative about Benghazi that has been shoved down our throat as fact by the corporate media was nothing more than CIA issued talking points.

Since subliminal manipulation the consciousness of the masses is now a science that the government has completely mastered, let make make sure you have been deprogrammed before continuing.

Wake up – Every news outlet in the country is admitting 8 months of news reports about Benghazi were nothing more than the parroting of CIA issued talking points.

Stop.

 Let it sink in.

This is not hyperbole and not sensationalism.

The entire corporate media is now openly admitting what they presented to us as objective independent news reports was nothing more than echoing of list CIA talking points.

Does that not at all disturb anyone?

Most people that are disturbed are merely disturbed by the fact the talking points were lies.

That is what the media is telling us the scandal is.

But the real scandal here, and the one no one seems to have a problem with, is that the media is echoing an actual list government talking points to the public and manipulating the public into believing those talking points were the result of objective independently verified investigative journalism.

Yes the real scandal is that the government is entirely controlling the news and the media is doing nothing more regurgitating an official narrative crafted by spooks in the shadow government.

....

The media not dare look in the mirror and point onto itself.

Surely they represent themselves to the public as fact checkers who vet and verify all information in their reports.

But nothing can be further from the truth because as we clearly see here even an amateur who made a measly attempt to independently verify the statements issued by the government would have easily outed the falsehoods in their claims.

Instead, the only scandal the media sees here is the fact the CIA’s talking points were deliberately falsified so Obama didn’t catch heat  so that he could be reelected.

Now look, I don’t disagree that is in fact a scandal and the media by all rights should continue to investigate and expose the truth about that scandal.

But for the well-being of this nation and the protection of its citizen’s that media needs to be held just as accountable because if they didn’t take the government at its word despite a continual track record of lies and deception America would be a much safer place today and the citizens of this nation and humanity as a whole would have a much brighter, safer and secure future.

...

The IRS scandal illustrates this point even further. The media has ignored for years complaints from activist groups saying they were unfairly being shaken down by the IRS. Those complaints were ignored even while members of congress of provided evidence to back up the allegations. But what we saw was a corporate media controlled by the American Gestapo that dared not step off script and report anything beside the talking points the government gave them. The same goes with the destruction of the constitution through an escalating campaign of post 9/11 hogwash from the Patriot Act, the NDAA, and drones to draconian measure containing to be pushed by the propaganda machine to implement measures such as CISPA, real-time total surveillance, and the inevitable disarming of the public.

The reason for this is clear but I fear if those in the media do not find the courage to be brave now it wil soon be too late.

News organizations know if they step out of line they their access to their “inside sources” and be blacklisted by the government. For individuals in those organization committing such acts of bravery are career ending moves. When the media steps out of line and reports anything that contradicts official government narrative we see them get targeted by the government, both covertly and overtly. We saw it with the coalition of journalist that sued the government for being targeted through the NDAA and with WikiLeaks.

...

This of course ties into the third scandal which is the Associated Press being spied on by the Gestapo for daring to report information that wasn’t explicitly authorized in talking points issued by the shadow government.

Yes, every now and then we see outlets such as the Associated Press, The New York Times, or the Washington Post do so-called investigative journalism that adds we are supposed to believe steps outside the boundaries and conflicts with the official narrative. But don’t be fooled. Yes the media reports them as “leaks” coming from “inside sources speaking on the condition of anonymity” but nothing could be further from the truth. Those reports are nothing more than statements given by officials from the same Gestapo who are quoted on the condition of anonymity and those leaks are authorized.

Just look at what is happening to the Associated Press right now. They dared contradict the talking points narrative. Instead they implicated the CIA as being involved in planning a Yemen based terror plot which Al Qaeda operatives were going to attack American airplanes and now they are being targeted by the Gestapo for leaking that information.

Look at the reporting on Benghazi. I did several investigative reports which debunked the government’s narrative soon after the attacks. Many of the details I uncovered in my reporting still to this day are not being discussed by the corporate media so even the reports we are now being given by corporate media about the scandal are still being controlled by talking points or we would hearing much different information about the scandal from the media.

Of course this is typical of a media that simply echoes government talking points. Just look at the reporting on drone strikes, which in every case echoes government statements that militants were killed despite hundreds of foreign news reports on the bombings showing drone bombings repeatedly kill innocent woman and children. The examples are numerous. Iraq’s WMDs, Libya, the BP oil spill, Fukushima and even now we see the same thing in Syria.

Despite the corporate media’s track record, be it unwittingly or knowingly or some combination thereof for various reasons, of acting as an obedient mouthpiece in the propaganda machine this all appears to be changing in the wake of the latest scandals rocking the Obama administration.

This is all evidenced by the fact the media is admitting its reporting is based on government generated talking points which as stated before was never before admitted or discussed openly beyond what has long been labeled the fringe conspiracy theorist crowd.

What is being signaled by this revelation to the public is the government has gone far too rogue and we ought to be wary that what we once accepted as credible news is nothing more than a well-orchestrated campaign of propaganda.

Yet even in the wake of the media’s rebellion we should not get to overzealous as government handlers will soon work to stamp out those who are working to resist the machine.

Mass media news organizations will be forced in one way or another to get their reporting back on script.

...

I see no conspiracy by anyone.  Instead it is ideological brothers (the Left) in news, entertainment, academia and politics doing their dance of corruption.  Their core beliefs - redistribution, control, "taking care" of the people, a social welfare state financed by a few wealthy folks, class warfare, etc - have not changed.   This admin has had the most antagonistic, least accomodating, dismissive atttude toward the media and for that received near universal support.

AP will soon be back in line.  Indeed, all media will since they won't attack an ideoogical brother.  So, AP will go away, the IRS fiasco will be solved by firing a few folks and passing more unnecessary laws and Benghazi will get so wound up, confused and convoluted that soon we'll be told that we should let the president get back to "running the economy"and "doing his job".  (What a loaded statement that is!)  Nothing, in other words, will come of these "scandals" because the last thing MSM wants is a foot in mouth Biden for Prez.

Disagree the same shit concerning talking points would have and did happen when it was Bush and with the favorite right wing captured MSM outlet Fox News. I don't remember Fox news either discounting or going against the Benghazi talking points either. But like in any captured industry you need controlled protagonists and antagonists like a WWE wrestling match.

Bottom line with Benghazi take out the CIA, Al Quaeda or any of the reasons why the real explosive stuff is the stand down order.... Either Obama issued it or he didn't. If he didn't whoever did, did so illegally and no low level person in the State Department or White House is going to risk their careers and pensions not to mention serious jail time and possibly a military charge to issue a stand down order knowing the protocol structure.

It points to 2 people either Hillary, Obama or both.

A) Hillary issued the order and violated protocol without Obama knowing or she didn't.

B) When it is shown the order was issued through the State Department Hillary is either going to have to take one for team Socialist or she is going to throw Obama under the bus at the same time. You have option of the Clinton Mafia and Obama Chi-thug socialist mafia factions starting to suicide each other to save each other's asses when the heat gets too hot.

It wasn't the military that issued the stand down or Spec Ops, they know the protocols damn well and did step out of line to actually go in anyways ignoring the stand down order.

Baker, a two-star general, is appealing the firing, which was ordered by his boss, Gen. Carter Ham, the commanding general of all U.S. military operations across Africa.

Gen. William “Kip” Ward, the first four-star general to command U.S. military operations in Africa, was demoted for excessive spending from duty at U.S. Africa Command (Africom).

And the most damning ones

...There are reports that two high-ranking military officers, Rear Admiral Charles Gaouette and General Carter Ham, were fired by Obama for wanting to come to the assistance of the beleaguered U.S. missions in Benghazi

Concerning Obama and Hillary suiciding each other over Benghazi consider this little bit of history about Obama. It is amazing what stories the uncaptured media sources runs that practice actual investigative journalism.

http://pjmedia.com/blog/obama-the-betrayer/

The right noticed long ago that Obama is a cold fish and an arrogant loner, a man willing to abandon longtime mentors in the blink of an eye if need be (think Jeremiah Wright). It never seemed as though Democrats cared, though, as long as Obama served their purposes and they served his.

Now that he’s become a little bit of an embarrassment to them, Obama may find, perhaps for the first time in his life, that a number of his fellow liberals are willing to throw him under the bus. Not only does there seem to be a new willingness for at least some members of the MSM to report negative news about Obama, but there’s a reservoir of ill will among Democratic politicians that’s been building up and threatens to burst:

One Democrat who likes Obama and has been around town for many years said elected officials in his own party are no different than Republicans: they think the president is distant and unapproachable.

“He has never taken the Democratic chairs up to Camp David to have a drink or to have a discussion,” the longtime Washingtonian said. “You gotta stroke people, and talk to them. It’s like courting: you have to send flowers and candy and have surprises. It’s a constant process. Now they’re saying, ‘He never talked to me in the good times.’ ”

How is it that Obama can be such a successful politician and yet be so unable to exhibit an important quality that almost all such politicians possess in abundance: the ability to schmooze? Special dispensation because of race may be part of the answer, but only a small part. Superficial charm is another, but it can only get him so far, and even his fellow party members have now learned its limitations.

What they haven’t yet learned is the significance of another major part of the Obama resume, which is that he does not operate on the usual political system of “you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours.” Instead, he’s just as likely to thank you by sticking a shiv (metaphorically speaking, that is) in your back.

And this is not a recent development. It was Obama’s modus operandi from the start, and it was practiced on Democrats. In Chicago, where Obama’s political career began, the important game was to win the Democratic primary, because that would guarantee election in Obama’s hugely Democratic district. The way Obama managed to do this in his very first race was by obliterating his Democratic rivals on a technicality, and especially, by betraying his liberal Democratic mentor, Alice Palmer.

If you’re not familiar with the story, it’s well worth reading to get a key to the very special Obama ruthlessness. The gist of it is that newcomer Obama, after being tapped by established Chicago African-American politician Alice Palmer to be her successor, mounted legal challenges to the petitions of all his Democratic rivals (including, it turns out, Palmer), knocking them off the primary ballot on technicalities and running unopposed, thereby guaranteeing his own victory before the voting ever began.

Obama won his first race for office not because of his intra-party collegiality, but due to his lack of it. Thus, when he got to the Illinois Senate his reputation preceded him and his potential for power was acknowledged. He seems to have adopted the Machiavellian strategy that it is better to be feared than loved:

“[Obama's] introduction to the political community was that he knocked off Alice,” said Ron Davis, a longtime Obama political hand who filed the challenge against Palmer and still cackles with glee over their victory…So they heard about Barack before he came down there to Springfield: Who was this guy who came in and knocked Alice off the ballot?’”

In addition, Obama later acquired a new mentor, Illinois state Senate President Emil Jones (previously allied with Palmer, but willing to make the switch), who understood that power and helped Obama after Democrats got control of the state Senate by handing him legislation that had been developed by other Democrats and letting Obama take the credit. This helped to further pave the way for Obama’s success:

In the State Senate, Jones did something even more important for Obama. He pushed him forward as the key sponsor of some of the Party’s most important legislation, even though the move did not sit well with some colleagues who had plugged away in the minority on bills that Obama now championed as part of the majority.

Taking credit for the work of others doesn’t make you many friends, but it can help you to get ahead, and Obama rode the record of his “achievements” all the way to the U.S. Senate, and then of course to the White House. There seemed to be no negative career consequences to it all, and Obama learned that seeming to be a superior being, above the hoi polloi, while simultaneously playing ruthless hardball, was a stance that suited both his natural temperament and his purposes.

But it finally may be — accent on the “may” — that Obama has found the limits of this particular approach. Now that the triple threat of the Benghazi, IRS, and AP scandals has come to haunt him, he may discover that his inability to cultivate positive relationships outside of a very few close, similarly insular, and trusted advisors such as Valerie Jarrett will finally have a cost. As Richard Fernandez of Belmont Club succinctly put it, the formerly worshipful press has had an especially hard awakening in learning of the Obama administration’s acquisition of AP phone records:

…[I]f the administration could do that to its water-carriers then what was the point to being his friend?…
Nobody completely trusts reassurances from a double-crosser. Only a fool would accept a kiss from Judas.

But it’s not as though Obama has only recently turned into a Judas, and members of the press in particular should have known he was fully capable of that all along. After all, the article describing how Obama got his start was written in 2007, and the events themselves had occurred over a decade earlier. The press either did not do its homework, or for some reason just thought it could never happen to them. Republicans can have the pleasure of being able to say “I told you so,” but it’s cold comfort, because too much damage has been done to the nation already, and we have three and a half long years ahead of us that promise to feature more of the same.

You don't think Fox News is a captured news organization carrying Obama's water also. What is Brit Hume (a Fox News senior political analyst) doing here on Laura Ingraham's radio show concerning impeachment proceedings against Obama.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=GSSbs7Akxzg

I quote Brit directly here.

"I think it's stupid for them to say stuff like that. These cases will be driven by the facts, which is what's happened so far. Information drives these things and big talk about extreme measures — and most people in this country, I think, regard impeachment as extreme measure, necessary in some rare cases — is way premature and only runs the risk of having this appear to be political on their side. The administration's defense, you hear it all the time, is that this is just a political circus. So what happens next? These guys start running out into the middle of the ring and starting proving that its a political circus. I don't think it is, I think it is serious cases but the more they talk like that the more that will have credibility."

Hey why the long face there Brit? /sarc They threatened to impeach Nixon for less and impeached Clinton for less than what they already have on this guy.

Delaware has always been a pirate state. Both Blackbeard and Kidd supposedly had hideouts there. There is an old fort that was somewhat recently found in the salt marsh with satellite technology that no one knew was there - it's suspected that it's a pirate fort.

Wilmington, DE also has some of the highest population densities of corporate lawyers in the world. Also pirates - they just dress in modern 2K d0llar suits.

The system is rigged by the establishment, to promote establishment candidates who will maintain the status quo against what they view as usurpation by the uppity serfs.

If you wait until election day, your only choices are establishment candidates A or B (or C, D, or E if you are an EUSSR serf)

The establishment almost got one of its candidates for Lt. Governor in Virginia on the ballot yesterday, and this was facilitated by the delegates for anti-establishment candidates leaving early when their candidate was eliminated in first rounds of voting.  The subterfuge and scheming was worse than reported in the press, which failed to even mention that the establishment tool withdrew his own nomination after the final round of votes had been cast (between only two candidates)...

All politics is local.  Unless you are the establishment candidate- there is no trophy for just showing up.  If you want to change the system- if you have to show up early, work your ass off, and never quit until the work is done

BTW they doubled down on the minority priest thing, but cut the voodoo this time.

Just for the record, so we're all clear, impeachment is the equivalent of charging a president with a "crime".  To impeach or "bring a President up on charges" is a matter decided by the House.  Conviction on those charges (and punishment, if convicted) is the the job of the Senate.

It's been a long damned time since a President was actually thrown out of office by this process.  Way back in the 1800s, or thereabouts, before Lincoln.  In more recent history (Nixon, for instance) they resign before that happens.  Clinton was impeached, but found "not guilty" by the Senate.

No chance Obama is going t be thrwn out of office by this process.  None.  So, just get used to this fucking son of a bitch Manchurian Candidate being your President for the next 3+ years.Way up top, Isotope got it exactly right when he said:

"He is The One, our first minority president. He could walk out on the whitehouse lawn, gutshoot a blind ten year old girl, and dump her alive into a vat of molten iron, and nothing would be done."

He is our King for the next 3+ years and there is not a fucking thing anyone can do to change that.  He doesn't give a flying fuck what is alleged or proven about himself or his administration.  He will NOT be thrown out.  And that's the fucking end of the story.  God help us all.

IRS Scandal Headlines: More Than Meets the Eye

by Stephen Lendman

More than targeting political enemies is involved. More on than below. The practice is longstanding. Republican and Democrat administrations use the IRS abusively.

During the Coolidge administration, Republican Senator James Couzens investigated the IRS' predecessor - the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon sued him. University of Virginia Law Professor George Yin called doing so the "greatest tax suit in the history of the world." At issue was political intrigue, backstabbing, and unintended consequences.

Franklin Roosevelt targeted William Randolph Hearst, Louisiana Governor Huey Long, and anti-administration critic/popular radio host Father John Coughlin. IRS officials investigated their finances.

In the 1940s and 1950s, hundreds of IRS employees were sacked and/or indicted for involvement in widespread corruption and bribery...

According to the White House friendly version of this story, we are to believe that some low level IRS employees cooked up this scheme to thwart Tea Party/Liberty groups.  Now...why would some low level loser in his cubicle do this?  What is his motive?  Simple...he has none.

Of course, it is President Zero that had the most to gain from hassling Tea Party groups.  And just a couple days ago, President Zero lied to the entire nation about when he knew.

Everyone at the IRS involved in this needs to be prosecuted and imprisoned.  As for the President...well, we need him gone for quite a long list of reasons now...don't we?

Here is a deal on that.  Obama has a very good vote theft machine with SEIU, CAIR, LaRaza and what was ACORN.  The GOP has a hard time stopping it because of the Consent Decreee.  A private group of citizens need to sue to overturn this soon - before the 2014 election.  If someone can then Dem senators up for election in 2014 will be very nervous.

http://thevotingnews.com/at-supreme-court-no-reprieve-for-gop-in-voting-rights-consent-decree-csmonitor-com/

As far as impeachment - I am fed up with idiots saying there will be no impeachment or the riots will be bad.  Tough shit.  If the country implodes and it probably will - the riots will be worse.  And yes Joe Biden would be light years better.  He would not do shit.

Who may decide if Obama gets impeached - David Rockfeller/Trilaterial Commission and their elite cronies.  Jon Rappoport does a great job in showing how Watergate may have really gone down.  Rockfeller dropped the dime on Nixon for doublecrossing them on tariffs.

http://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/2012/04/12/nazis-nixon-rockefeller-and-watergate/

You hear about the Bushes, Ford and others and the Nazi and roll your eyes cause it sounds crazy.  The nazis were backed by German corporations worried about Stalin.  These companies were really the biggest proponents of global corporatism.   Anyway, Rappoport does a good job connecting the dots on why Nixon was impeached.   The media possibly turning on Obama.  The real Deep Throat according to Rappoport was Rockefeller.  Ben Bradley at the Wash Post?  He was connected to CIA.  He rushed to Cord Meyer's ex-wife's house to get her diary after she was murdered.  She had been sleeping with JFK and her husband had run Operation Mockingbord for the CIA aka the TV and Hollywood propaganda machine.

Rockefeller gave Ben Bradley and others the word and Nixon was on his way out.  Obama's crimes are 10x worse.    They always seem to get to Presidents who worry them. JFK, Lincoln after he was used as a puppet for the Civil War genocide, McKinley who was for bimetalism aka gold and silver as money, Reagan because he was a bit too popular.  Clinton stuff maybe not so much.  I do not think the corrupt newsmedia can control the Obama scandals now.

The biggest risk is RINo scum like McCain not have the balls to impeach him.  You will get a few Dems to sink Obama.  The elites will do this to fool us into thinking we really elect a govt that represents us. And that we really have some liberty and freedom which is a joke. LOL!

Washington bureaucrats, they are all "Obama".  They know what the marching orders are without being told.  They have known their marching orders since the day he tool office of his first term.  They are all trained, taught together like a cloud of locuses, and then they arrogantly decend on the country to fuck our lives up.

That is the essence of what this administration is. All politics, all the time. A sitting President, complaining to the media publicly about Rush Limbaugh and Matt Drudge? Really? That is beyond embarrassing and truly demeaning to the office he holds. However, it is a glimpse into why the IRS story is so believable.

What is terrifying is the next move being contemplated by these hacks. War? No better or bigger diversion than a war. Problem is that these halfwits might mistakenly get us into something big, like millions of dead bodies big.

Bingo! Comment of the Day here folks. If these crazies start moar woar, it is going to be all over for as you say, millions. In the gambit of the weaponry that is available to attain the population reduction agenda, can any one be sure their gamble in supporting this madness by doing nothing, or worse by perpetuating it, will pay off in simple life later once this beast is unbound? Choose well. Life, or death. Consider that if one nuke goes off on the planet, it will EFFECT all souls on board.

The absolutely insane thing about all this is there are so many that could change it all, and don't or won't. At least for now. As was said here, the next chapters of human history could go any way. If you have a choice to make, always let your heart lead you. It knows!

11/28/2012...IRS leaks tax information on 31 organizations to ProPublica.

This is really all we need to know.

Or not ;-)

Meanwhile, Malik Obama (O'Barry's half brother) got on the IRS fast track (and the retroactive track for being an illegal "charity") on his tax exempt status.

Its the Chicago Way.
