Global Thermonuclear Devaluation

“Now, witness the power of this fully operational battle station.”

-Star Wars

We are all embarked upon a grand new adventure. It just hasn't been announced yet. It will never be officially announced but we will all get to play this brand new game in any event. Originally I and others had provided the name, "Currency Wars," to our new game but recent comments and subtle indications have invalidated the title.

The new title is, "Global Thermonuclear Devaluation."

Japan leads off in first position. It will devalue against the Euro and the Dollar in a significant fashion. All approved by the G-7 of course. Then Europe has begun and will continue the same process which will be followed by America. It is the second in the grand schemes with the first great foray being entitled "Quantitative Easing." One game got old, the next one got sold. You have to know when to hold or fold them.

This new plan has been devised by the hedgehogs of Davos. Devalue all of the currencies in the world against goods and services and pay a far smaller price for what is desired and needed. The scheme is not exactly friendly to commodities either. Never in the history of the world have the economies been so connected or the central banks acting in such concert to be able to pull something like this off but the bet has been made. The money is on the table.

“Only at the end do you realize the power of the Dark Side.”

                           -Star Wars

The outward appearance will be a "Currency Wars" game but that is just a distraction. There are other motives afoot here and deviousness and distraction are always part of great political maneuvers. This quite complex multi-tiered move is a methodology to systematically reduce the value of all of the major currencies on the planet. In the currency markets all values are relative but by a coordinated effort each currency may be reduced to new lower valuations by one following the other down in price as coordinated by the Pied Pipers of Davos. Hamelin has been abandoned.

The massive selling of gold may also figure into this equation. Gold is the alternative currency afterall so that as its price declines then the national currencies and the global currency (gold) all are valued at new and lower levels by this systemic central bank effort. The word "manipulation" does not even begin to cover this ground. There are also a wide variety of consequences here.

If Quantitative Easing is soon to be curtailed then the effects of higher bond yields and a weaker equity market may be partially defused by lower currency levels. The absolute and relative value of a currency or all of the major currencies on the planet may also have a devaluation impact on commodities so that oil, copper and other basic materials may plunge in price as currencies are lowered globally. It is a dangerous game though and never before tried so that the ugly head of "unintended consequences" could play out in ways that no one fully appreciates or understands.

Devaluation by fiat may also lead to Deflation by fiat and then we may well all find ourselves on the Dark Side.

My wife and I took the little Meats to Disneyland last week and saw quite a bit of teenagers wearing t-shirts from all of the Star Wars-themed rides and exhibits.  I took great comfort in that, knowing that the saga is a perfect illustration of politics and power-grabs.  The young don't get it now (they just like lightsabers and blasters) but, much like you, they'll get it when they're older.

This time it's different...is it really?  With equities "buffered" by record gains, as in the past are they set up to "take the fall" as bonds necessarily rally (safe haven) to prevent rates from rising high enough to choke off housing, make debt service impossible without increasing QE and quell the irrational exuberance.  Each time in the past few years, equities took the hit.  Are they positioned for this or is this time really different?

Wow.  Butchered every SINGLE Star Wars quote...I lost interest.  Next time, find a metaphor you can followthrough to the conclusion.

I get what he's saying, that the entire game is simply reset.  That is the plan, but it will not work because of man's inherent insane craving for power and control (money comes by default).

It is very interesting to note; God directed Israel to reset their economy every 50th year and called it a year of "jubilee".  Land returned to owners, slaves were set free, and basically all debts were, by God's command, wiped clean.  Of course Israel obeyed for awhile and then ignored God.  See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jubilee_(biblical)

However since God 'does not exist' anymore, only us poor 'mud bog cells', the ultra-rich will never give up their power without WAR, meaning revolution.  And sadly, revolution begats dictatorship 90% of the time.  The US got VERY lucky, or dare I 'divine intervention' and blaspheme historical revisionists by stating that Christians (and other religions) fleeing Britain's religious persecution came to America seeking religious, speech, and other freedoms.  Hence the now-demonized "US Constitution".

The only value of this article is that it sparked a dialogue. I learned nothing from the article but I learned a lot from some of the brilliant posts in response to it on this thread.

Sorry Mr. Grant. Devaluating the currency and inflation make products and services MORE expensive. Either you are very confused... can't write clearly... or your article is a collection of "cut and pastes" that you didn't read before you pasted them in. Geesh!

Yes I've noticed the same drop in quality of posts. Either it is musac for your enjoyment until the real writers return from playing the S&P or the site has sold-out. A bit of filler is to be expected but this seems a new trend. I sense capittulation that Ben has won this round so you must party for now and keep an eye on the exit.

I'm not a conspiracy nut and I always shy away from anything about the NWO and the idea of a small group of elites from the age old banking families that are taking over the world. Yet, I always bounce back and forth between these concepts. My question...

Is all of this just innocent man innocently stumbling, fumbling and bungling along into the future... or, is the current state of affairs, the currency wars and soon to come trade wars and soon to come crises (WW III) and cut supply lines and food shortages and Draconian governments all an intentionally made stew to put the population into a condition where they will welcome some new reset of a new world currency and political control?

"I'm not a conspiracy nut and I always shy away from..."

I think this statement could quite easily be taken to the other extreme. Draconian is on a timeline, (as per the tagline of this very site). About the true nature of the beast, whether of insidious darkness or a mismanaged blunder is difficult. Total malfeasance or total neglect?

“We have a new type of rule now. Not one man rule or rule of aristocracy or plutocracy, but of small groups elevated to positions of absolute power by random pressures and subject to political and economic factors that leave little room for decisions. They are representatives of abstract forces who have reached power through surrender of self. The iron-willed dictator is a thing of the past.

There will be no more Stalins, no more Hitlers. The rulers of this most insecure of all worlds are rulers by accident; inept, frightened pilots at the controls of a vast machine that they cannot understand, calling in experts to tell them which button to push.”

Remember "I Robot"?  After the one-world "VIKI" kicks of the world domination plan, Will says to the robot psychologist,"You know, somehow, 'I told you so' just doesn't quite say it."

All those ‘nuts’ and ‘crazies’ who kept reporting for the past 50 years on the ‘one world government’ are now being proved perfectly accurate.  Even today DHS calls them ‘potential terrorists’.  Think there is no conspiracy?

Think on this, if even just 60 seconds.  We historically know dictators gain local control, and some even gained control over the ‘known’ world (like Rome and Greece), but NEVER the ENTIRE planet, EVERY nation and people.  In fact, ONLY in the 21st century is every area of the world connected so tightly together by technology (i.e. politically, linguistically, economically, and now SOCIALLY, and soon to be LEGALLY).

So we intuitively know it can happen again, but only one book, ridiculed FAR beyond any other 'end of the world' book, this one book prophesies a single person becoming the WORLD-WIDE, meaning ‘every person on the earth’ New Messiah.  Guess what book?  That book is titled The Revelation, one of 66 books in the Bible, written by John, one of Jesus' disciples and witness to his life, death, and resurrection.

2,000 years ago, about AD 70 – 85, a now-older John writes about events leading up to world-wide ‘never before seen’ destruction.  And because of mankind’s utter rebellion against God as Creator and Lord, that God will give Man what he wants, a world without God.

That world will get a man who will solve all these economic troubles and bring ‘peace’ to the Earth, including Israel!  However after 3.5 years of ‘peace’, he comes out of the closet and takes off his Obama 'I really love you' cloak.

With singular political power, ‘law’, and the 'world peace-keeping military' behind him, he suddenly orders both small and great, both  rich and poor, both  free and slave,  to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that  no one can  buy orsell  unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.

Now let me ask you LOGICALLY, why would ANYONE write something as nuts as 'marking' everyone in order to buy or sell?  We are the ONLY generation where technology exists to track and control EVERY human being on EARTH.

I recall in the early 1980's, a 'Jesus' movement pastor named Chuck Smith, was one of the only people actually talking about Revelation and studying that book.  And when there were NO computers, etc., he stated that for the Anti-Christ to assume global control, there would have to be a massive ECONOMIC failure, where ALL nations were closely connected to each other.  I mean, we could always fictionally envision it, but only in the form of a MOVIE, right?

This is the proverbial ‘line in the sand’ God draws, forcing all people on earth to finally choose what they believe.  John makes it extremely clear by writing that an angel says, If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a markon his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink the wine of God's wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, andhe will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”

Worse, the New Messiah also draws the line as well, by ordering “all who refused to worship the image to be killed

Summary: Worship the beast or take the mark, go to Hell and live there for-ever… or refuse to take the mark, be killed physically, and go to live with God for-ever.

But you could beat ALL of that by simply asking Jesus to forgive your sins, accept that he paid for them by dying on that cross (for you), and ask Him to save your soul.  One act of using your vocal chords to speak in faith, 30 seconds of your time, to obtain everlasting life in Heaven (not Hell), and be with the true 'alien life form', your Creator.  Is that not WORTH a TRY?

Incoherent article.  Yes, we all understand the central banks of the world are creating fiat computer bits at ever increasing speeds.  Yes, we also see the price of paper gold, silver and platinum being manipulated downward to serve the interests of the predators-that-be.  However, you can't lower the value of currency units like the dollar, euro, yen... and at the same time lower the price of all goods.  That's simply a direct contradiction, and completely stupid on the face of it.

About the furtherst one could go with this idea is to claim the predators-that-be will manipulate all basic goods that have paper markets, the way they are manipulating precious metals down now.  But even these psychopaths can see what this scenario would do.  It would greatly raise production costs for producers of all basic commodities while reducing the price they can get for their products.  That would put endless farmers and commodity producers out of business, cause widespread famine, and shortly thereafter cause a complete disconnect between the price of physical goods and the paper markets that are supposed to track them (not manipulate them).  This will serve to correct selling prices for farmers and other basic goods producers, but who knows how many thousands... or millions... or tens of millions for producers would be out of business and thus not able to restart easily or quickly, causing enormous worldwide consequences, including untold millions of deaths.

Of course, this might be their plan.  It is not inconceivable.  Why?  Because the predators-that-be want a world in which all production is controlled by the smallest number of huge corporations.  These corporations then essentially have monopoly powers, little competition, and complete stranglehold on the governments that pretend to regulate them and keep them honest (what a laugh).  So such a move would be a huge leap towards increased centralization, and the destruction of small businesses for all large volume products.

But that's about all I can take away from this article, probably because he is not willing to speculate, and thus limits himself to completely incoherent comments.

If the game is not "currency wars", and the author has something to say... then say it.

PS:  Since the vast majority of "free money" is being force-fed to banksters, and banksters typically love paper assets (largely because they can massively leverage paper assets), of course the prices of paper assets are going through the roof, and absorbing lots of the fiat being created.  And these assets do not show up as part of "inflation" because they are not real goods.  But this bloating of paper asset prices has already gone to absurd extremes, and can't continue forever, because even the dumbest bankster knows real physical goods are what have real value, and are the only place they can safely park money.
