Tyler Durden's picture

Courtesy of NBC, here is 10-x sped up footage of the massive 2-mile wide tornado ripping through Oklahoma one short hour ago.

how many dead in the Bagladesh clothing sweatshop? a thousand anyway

where the fuck is the time lapse footage of the building collapsing?

imagine how great it would be to see floor after floor packed with designer labels and workers making 24 cents per hour getting crushed in real time.

either way blame global warming

we love NBC, its affiliates and most of all comcast for  sparing us wall to wall coverage of their sponsors' slaves being crushed or suffocated to death much better to watch Anderson Cooper with furled brow engage the CNN weather persons about its exact track and speed as he awaits his next exploitive interview with some poor soul who lost their everything earlier today.

Just wait in fact count the effing days 'till when Anderson and that dipshit Erin cohost a special on the OK Tornado (I am sure they will come up with a clever brand name for it in the next few hours) and how it was caused by the evil carbon producing enemy. And if they are really good they will link it to immigration, austerity etc  like how a tornado shelter was cancelled due to budget cuts or how a few down and out undocumenteds were in their cardboard shantys when all hell broke loose today.

(and the cynic in me would like to bid Benghazi, the IRS scandal etc. a hearty farewell and good night; you will be replaced by a carbon tax that will be enforced by DHS and IRS - and this sad and tragic tornado story will be milked for all it is worth until the lazy daze of summer are in full effect)

Interestingly, this is the HAARP reading from few days ago.  HAARP map - and I hate to say it team, but I haven't seen it pink before.  Sending love and gentle vibrations to those of you that wont be able to keep your cool today.

HAARP has been long believed by many "conspiratorials" to affect weather and Earthquakes with lots of data behind it. I dunno if it's true but the overwhelming evidence sure shows it to be suspect. I'd say more likely than not. Question everything.

Anyway, on to the picture...  http://api.ning.com/files/imbe9KBD0dPp000bX0aZjneGvEXuymJeLkfL9ry6hwbmLvDOYvpsIgqyBEtBkakNLkSuNiP2ykIwd*22qjrgVwm2NkRAzBCH/ScreenHunter_136May.2013.56.jpg

*THAT* map is for how quickly the signal is gaining or losing strength, its not the actual strength but the momentum. Also, thats the longwave map - check the shortwave map its thought to be more closely tied to tornados. Longwave is for earthquakes and 'normal' storms. And the HAARP map for sandy was higher than 10 and centered over Boston/NJ exactly where the storm turned inland.

It was a mile wide tornado which is huge but not two miles. CNN doesn't have a clue as usual. They also had a caller say how wonderful it was to have federal responders. That was bogus too. Those responders were locals. It just happened. Feds won't show up until at least two weeks from now. And then just to gawk. Although Obama will probably show up tomorrow just to distract from the news in Washington.

Those children died upon the altar of the state. Without gov't disaster insurance I doubt many, if any, of those people would live in tornado alley because it would be too costly, if not impossible, to insure against such risks. Also, without the gov't being involved in  public education and placing the liability of a child's safety while at school upon the shoulders of the school they are attending, would a school have been built in tornado alley at all?

Of course, you won't hear a peep from the MSM about the unintended consequences of gov't intervention into every aspect of life. If anything there will be calls for MOAR, MOAR, MOAR!!!!

I think you're stretching it there, fella.  I'd bet not one in ten thousand people who chose to call that place home did so because they could get government disaster insurance.  Call me naive, but I think they chose to live there because they liked the area and the climate and the job possibilities, or because their family has lived there for generations.

Lots of people---millions actually---live in the Sundarbans, which is pure Cyclone Alley.  They get the bejesus kicked out of them half a dozen times a year. Not a one has "government disaster insurance".  They live there because, like the folks in Oklahoma, they like it there or were born there.

There's lots of things one might throw on the mantle of government.  This tornado is not one of them.

not that it matters which was worse because both had many lives lost and caused tons of destruction, but the 1999 one had wind speeds recorded at 318 mph. that is the strongest wind speed recorded to date on earth i believe.

this storm had 200 mph winds, which is still beyond imagination to most people, but i still dont know if this was as bad a 1999 for comparison sakes, but then again who cares, both are terrible tragedies with many innocent lives lost.

Wow, Moore hit by most most powerful tornado on record and now 2nd most powerful.  This might be #1 actually, much wider at ground level.

Central Oklahoma is perfect "tormado alley", a "weather battlefield" where warm moist gulf fronts and cool dry fronts coming down the great plains collide in epic storms, and nearly table-top flat, no hills/mountains to disrupt 'em.

Gotta get back there some day, wonderful violent wild-ass weather not seen anywhere else in America.  Dazzling mind-blowing lightning and thunder I'll always remember.

I am agreeing with Divine wind on this, it is unfortunately up to the people to prove any modification or interference which is very difficult. I do not care if I get downvoted for speaking my opinion, I am not here to garnish votes I am hear to share my opinion and part of that opinion was for the sympathy to the people of Moore and the sorrounding area. The other half was to warn people of a large event on memorial day which I made in the comment here last Friday:

I don't know why you collected so many junks... I find your contributions to be strong ones 99% of the time and you provided solid links to explain your opinion and allow others to begin their own look-see into it...

There is a very fine line here on ZH (which I have crossed a few times myself) between pushing for 'truthiness' and donning a tin foil hat.  Damned if it isn't a blurry one at times.

EDIT:  I also recall a provision in one of the UN treaties back in the 50's banning 'weather warfare/modification'... seems it would be silly to include something in a treaty that was sooooo very beyond the realm of possibility.

Here is a link to a private company that is hired by many states, cities, towns here in the us and around the world to increase their rainfall, snowpak ect ect..

They have been in the weather mod business for like 50 yrs and this is just one company, there are hundreds(prolly thousands).

Yes let's check the 'official' HAARP website to see if HAARP has been used covertly for weather modification, that's real bright there shill bag.

It would seem more want to see proof of HAARP than believe it was employed, just as Sandy, destined to die east of Cuba, was Frankensteined into the animal of a storm that it was. Seems the more proof there is available, the more ignorant people get.

The pics coming in from OK are fakes, taken in a studio in an underground government bunker months ago. Yep, just like 9/11. All paid actors these people, the lot of them. Did you know all those broken windows are plexiglass

Also the CIA used a tornado/eartquake/hurricane making doohicky to release the giant tornado and murder people, definately a head fake to distract them from thinking about their shitty mortgages. Naturally occurring weather events no longer exist, nope, all of them are released by a special machine thingy.

Sadly I dont have a shred of empirical evidence to support my retarded theories, but hey look them up motherfucker, they're on the internet.

this afternoon was an exact square between Uranus /Pluto, part of an ongoing aspect between the two. . . archetypes for Uranus include sudden, unexpected, uncontrolled events, both natural and man-made, natural including the electric, man-made including bombs, weaponry. . . archetypes for Pluto include complete destruction, burning back of the land for future re-growth, deaths, dirty bombs, DU, etc.

I mentioned it here briefly a couple of weeks ago, "my vote's for the "unexpected world event" - a random bit o' chaos that no one was factoring into their realities. . ."      in no way consider it a prediction, or any of that nonsense, just pointing out there are other ways to monitor "reality" as we know it.

for what it's worth, this week escalates tension into the relatively rare second lunar eclipse at the weekend, which is also "Memorial Day" - and the month of June has the ongoing Uranus/Pluto still holding the same degree, still potent, still bears taking into consideration, in my opinion.

peace, within/without.

As a P.E., I can tell you this. There is little to no construction (except for stone structures the size and scale of the pyramids) that can stand, or are designed for 300 mph winds.

Or structures built below grade, like any proper tornado shelter...

And if you build a shelter on the surface for some reason- reinforced double wythe masonry and concrete will work fine against the wind (which isn't the largest threat anyway)- unless you introduce windows or non-redundant doors...

An F5 will lift the asphalt off the road, so above ground structures are defenseless.  This was likely an F4, but it doesn't really matter.  It was the size of this beast that caused such widespread destruction.  God bless the good people of Oklahoma.
