Swedish Youth Riots Enter Third Day
Sparked by the police shooting of a machete-wielding 69 year-old man, traditionally calm-and-collected Sweden is suffering amid its third night of riots. It seems underlying tensions from high youth unemployment and rising nationalism against the nation's large immigrant population have been catalyzed by this seemingly unrelated event. As the Daily Mail notes, immigrant ghettos have been created where unemployment is high and there are few opportunities for residents with left-leaning commenters adding that the riots represented a 'gigantic failure' of government policies, which had underpinned the rise of ghettos in the suburbs - "We have failed to give many of the people in the suburbs a hope for the future." An anti-immigrant party, the Sweden Democrats, has risen to third in polls ahead of a general election due next year, reflecting unease about immigrants among many voters. What is driving this tension? After decades of practicing the 'Swedish model' of generous welfare benefits, the country has been reducing the role of the state since the 1990s, spurring the fastest growth in inequality of any advanced OECD economy. Given Sweden's 24.7% youth unemployment, we wonder just what will happen to the 60% of unemployed youths in Greece and Spain when school lets out this summer?

Time for a personal remembrance. Kindly indulge me.
In the mid-to-late 1980s, I worked in some coffeeshops in the bohemian part of Minneapolis. There was a guy who came around, real scruffy, who talked a lot of crazy bullshit about stirring things up and taking "real" action against "The System." He loved to talk about all the guns and knives he had, and hinted at how he was on the lam for some sort of what we'd now call terrorist plot.
I was pretty young, but I had grown up in a family that had called "bullshit" on the Vietnam War early and loudly, so I recognized the type. The guy had "agent provocateur" written all over him. I was as polite to him as my job required, but he could tell I knew what he was up to me and he gave me a wide berth, other than the occasional bit of wind-up banter. Other people asked me why I clearly didn't like him, and I'd say, "Because he's a rat, and at some point when he needs something somebody around him is going to go down hard and then he'll disappear with a bag of money or dope." People called me paranoid. A lot of the young, stupid disaffected suburban rebel kids looked up to him and thought I was jealous of how cool he was. I didn't know his last name, but his first name was "Michael."
Then I heard that the serious Anarchists (not the ones who liked to trash your house at parties and yell "Anarchy!" and get in your face when you got pissed off at them for wrecking your stuff; not them, the people who read books) had kicked him out of their little group for being such an obvious plant. I didn't cross paths with the guy again. He must have gone away for a while. He came back, though.
Years later, I read in the paper that Malcolm X's daughter had moved to Minneapolis. The only reason somebody like that moves to Minneapolis is to get sober (we have a lot of high-profile, very discreet treatment centers here). She was in the paper because she had gotten arrested for hiring a hitman to kil Lous Farrakhan for his supposed involvement in the murder of her father, which she had witnessed as a very young child.
The supposed hitman? No other than "Michael;" last name either Summers or Fitzpatrick. Skeeviest m-f'er I'd ever run across. When I read his name I could smell him again, years later though it was. He put her up to it so he could turn her in to his controllers, so he could get off on a drug rap, get a fresh supply, and get a new identity someplace else where he hadn't already burned everybody and his own cover.
See, that's how these people work. They just have to find somebody screwed up enough not to notice how obvious they are. And that's the kind of people who do the dirty work, setting up the "dots" to be connected later.

The other thing is talking. I think Danes do not talk too much. Norwignians talk more, Swedes talk a lot less and Finns say almost nothing. The Finns assume people who talk too much have a low IQ. They are probably correct.
Swedes are very quiet. Most speak only to friends until they know you well. They also prefer Swedish, I know they all speak english and everyone can get buy there using english. But it locks you out of close friendships.
When I visit friends and family in Sweden it is just Talk, Talk, Talk, about everything. I love it. But in public Swedes are guarded. There is a subset who talk very little, even with family, but these are an exception.
I have a Swedish cousin who I believe speaks about once a week, and then only if forced!

Several large cities have over 50% of muslim youth in schools, give it one or two more generations and they outnumber the locals. Only one in four of these people that CAN work actually DO work, all the others collect welfare, live in social housing, ... And don't forget them taking over entire cities, harassing anyone that doesn't look muslim. Girls can't safely walk the streets anymore with a skirt or without a veil. Police don't care, "wear a veil then"- kinda responses. Large areas are no-go zones for police at night, they get fake emergency calls to go there, just to get battered with molotovs in an ambush. No not really. Since the end of the cold war, the Swedish military has had many cuts. Back when the USSR was a threat Sweden was armed to the teeth and with some of the very finest Fighter Aircraft in the world. The Air Force was seen as Sweden's top priority for defense and it concentrated on air superiority over Swedish territory. Once you have that, the USSR had no chance of invading. The Anti Aircraft units were also first rate and the officer corps was highly trained. Most of the manpower came from reservers. All males had a military obligation, but a short one and then they were reserves called up for training every year or so.
And then the military end of Saab was recently bought out by the Chinese. Oh well....

Why? Because that was easy. Learning the language, learning the culture, having to show an interest in someone else's history or ideas... Its not easy. What is easy is sticking to what you know, and demanding "They should get to know me better. They should learn more about Chinese culture. Hmmmph"

No further North on the West Coast North of Göteborg. Many small car ferries operate where it is too expensive and low traffic to build bridges across the low fjords there.

Now this might get long winded, because I have a horse in this race over there in my families home land. To be up front, I am second Generation Swedish American, I speak the language as I picked it up from by Father and Grandparents and have studied it at university level also. I have been visiting friends and family in Sweden since 1982. I read the Swedish news papers on line and watch Swedish TV news online.
To the riots. I have seen this coming for 20 years! Sweden has gone out of it's way to embrace the immigrants and the founding of a new multi cultural Sweden. This is a legacy of the liberals and hippies from way back in the 60-70's who have held the policitial power since the early 90's in Sweden. Their liberal views were translated into the seeking out of large numbers of immigrants to come to Sweden and tranform the society from Swedish/white/lutheran into a multi cultural Sweden in which the immigrants would all vote for the liberal parties as they were the ones handing out the Swedish citizenship and welfare payments.
Some years back the Svenska Dagbladet Swedens prime Newspaper had the guts to allow a long article to be publish pointing out the compete failure of the immigrants to assimilate into Swedish society to spread out into the midsize towns, and villages across the country and to progress in employment. The author wrote this in the late 90's. He said the gehttos of immigrants were growing in size around Stockholm, Malmö and other large Swedish cities. The immigrants who did work had menial jobs and most stayed on the welfare system. The youth were becoming radicalized. etc. etc. He simply told the truth as I myself had seen it there. In 1999 on a long visit to southern Sweden I noted the authorties had begin to move large numbers of immigrants into midsize towns like Halmstad on the west coast. I walked around the new apartment blocks and noticed the large number of non Swedes and graffiti was writen on walls and building, something I had NEVER seen before there. Slogans like "Ta från de rika" "Take from the rich" and many other similar socialistic and communistic slogans.
This got my attention. And not having been to Stockholm, I went there because I had heard it was now sporting huge immigrant gehttos of apratment blocks in suburban Stockholm. Sure enough, in some places it was all African and Middle Eastern and the people did not look happy at all.
To make the story short. I knew by 2000 that this game was going to blow up! The stupid multi cultural attempt to destroy my culture and race in a sea of immigrants in service of some old Hippe's dream of us being a paradise of peace and multi culturalism in Sweden is proving a giant failure. The wall slogans said it all, they want to take Sweden and loot it for their gain. They hate native Swedes and envy their industry, education and civilization. If this sounds like I am speaking from too superior a postion I don't care.
This is what immigrants think. "What's mine is mine" [meaning, whites stay out of my home country], "What's yours is mine" [meaning, you whites owe us a living and we can come to your country to claim it, if we don't get what we want we will burn the fucking place down!]
This riot will shake some complacency out of Swedes, hopefully. But much damage has already been done. The liberal multi cultural experiemnt is Sweden is failing. More immigrants are on the way and they will burn the fucking place down in another 20 years.
Divide and conquer. May have been passed off as hippy idealism but was cynical at best.
We can say hippies but this has been the plan of the left and banskters all along. It is easier too loot a country this way. This is happening in almost every western country. There will only be one way to stop it because the politicians will not.
So... Aren't swedes mad as hell about this? Aren't they furious they're stealing from the welfare state they created for working swedes? Why aren't they like the Swiss and just keep out unskilled, uneducated, unwilling to assimilate immigrants?
This is so complicated to explain in a post. I hesitate to try. Swedes have been on a guilt trip ever since they built a strong rich economy. Swedes, and I am one, live with a peculiar built in guilt over seemingly everything. The liberals play on this inbuilt guilt and desire to share and be good people. Thus government found it easy to flood in immigrants.
Like I said, you almost have to be Swedish to undestand the mind set that allows this. In Britian you see the same guilt at work, only this guilt is over the old crimes of the empire. Government knows how to play this guilt to get open borders. There is more at play here, but that is basically why ordinary people are not up in arms.
I have one Swedish cousin who is a NAZI, he is really, really old now, so not active. But around the dinner table he will slam his fist down over immigration topics and swear that "Hitler Was Right"!

Political correctness is a big deal over here, which has made alot of people afraid to vote anti-immigration. The small town where I live has been pretty much destroyed by immigration.

I lived over there for a while back in the 90's, Denmark and Sweden. The population are extremely homogeneous and it seems that everyone is related to everyone else somehow. The immigrants were forced on them by the EU and they fucking HATE THEM ALL. They put them all on minimum welfare and put them in ghettos. I left because even as a white American I was told several times that I would probably never find find a good job as those were for the natives. Also if you don't speak their language or German your fucking lost. My wife is a Danish citizen and that didn't help me any, plus the fucking language is impossible to learn. I've known many regular Jews and been good friends with some. However, there is significant overrepresentation. I know some of it's the immigrant thing where the first generation works hard and gets the second generation educated but that still doesn't explain it all.
