Well that didn't take long. It took precisely two hours for damage control #1 to hit following the PRISM-blower's self-revelation. Edward Snowden's current employer - Booz Allen - has very rapidly issued a statement distancing itself from this lone rogue data assassin.
Booz Allen can confirm that Edward Snowden, 29, has been an employee of our firm for less than 3 months, assigned to a team in Hawaii.
News reports that this individual has claimed to have leaked classified information are shocking, and if accurate, this action represents a grave violation of the code of conduct and core values of our firm.
We will work closely with our clients and authorities in their investigation of this matter.

Last semester I failed a couple of young men. One of them showed me a document saying his father was ill. I told him that I would be checking up on that and wanted a copy of the document (never mind the failing performance stuff, I was amused to find out where this would go). I never got a copy. He then pulled me aside to tell me that he could not come to class because him and his friend were "out" as gay and they had received a poor reception so they avoided coming to class for fear of being ridiculed. Why didn't him and precious approach me before the very last day of class with this problem? Real gay people have real problems, that shit burns my ass.
I also had a girl say she missed her test because she peed on herself on the way to class. This is after she failed the class last semester after various relatives and friends were buried and she missed those tests as well.
Another was out most of the semester...wait for it... with an abortion. She was shocked that after that admission I did not let her turn in her extra credit papers past the deadline. Sad story though.
