White House Faces The Press - Live Webcast
It may not be the main man (that show starts at 210ET) but as Press Secretary Jay Carney takes the stand in front of a room of hopefully inquisitive reporters for his usual press conference, we are sure the phrase "can I plead da fif?" will be on the tip of his tongue.

one side of the coin talking to the other
you can't have 100% security and 100% privacy/freedom. Obomber knows the people will choose security, want their bread and circuses. The psychology of the masses.
The repeated defense is: Congress sold you all out when they voted for the Patriot Act: take it and like it.
"checks and balances"?
TROLOLOLOLOLO
When has Obama ever had a debate. It has always been "My way or the highway". Do what he wants is the only discussion he ever has.
And there it is... The PLANTED "reporter" comment.
"What more will be done to stop people from "LEAKING" Classified Information that HARMS National Sercurity.
And here we go... It now becomes the negatively connotated term called WISTLE BLOWER.
Mainly pathetic lap dogs in the room. Shame!!
I caught that one too. Government planted Spin Doctors in the front row. Way too obvious.
I've had more informative conversations with my front door coming home drunk trying to open the door, compared to getting this weasel to answer a question straight forward question.
Seriously, "the harm done" the only harm done I am seeing is that these dudes got caught with their pants down. End of story. What damage done? Exactly how does this level of spying and lying help us and them? I mean these indviduals sounds like a bunch of retards.
Why is the gathering of information on Americans Highly sensitive and classified?
Blah blah blah lie, blah blah blah lie, blah blah blah lie............................
Remember when Helen Thomas made "that" statement on the White House law concerning that little country in the M.E?
You don't see her in the press room any more!
She's dead isn't she?
It shows who controls the press room and this country.
"both the courts and congress provide oversight on these programs . . . to ensure they are conducted properly and legally and consistent with our values"
If Carney mentions balance one moar time, he's going to turn into a pile of ashes. The audacity of that clown!
Sociopaths like debates, and for dissenters to raise their voices. It aids them im compiling "kill lists"
so--were's the "black" Press Secretary?? I think I'll wait for that cause that guy/gal will surely be truthful.
Just the kind of divide and conquer remark I would expect out of somebody trying to preserve the status quo. As if this has ANYTHING to do with race.
FISA Court defined: "see kangaroo court"
Snowden is a whistle blower not a leaker. He was asked to participate in something that violates the constitution and the law spying on innocent people. He described in detail the depths the CIA will go to entrap an enemy. Words and language matters- they are portraying Snowden negatively as a leaker, instead of heroically as a whistle blower. The .gov is filled with Stasi like spys and the only way to stop this is full scale revolution of the people. Massive peaceful protests everywhere. Shut the bitches down
...
I expect Carney to resign before the end of the month.
You could not pay me enough to take that job in this administration.
Then again, Carney may want to insure his place in the bunker when things cave in.
Jay Carney is such a lapdog that he should be kept away from cats.
He's doing his job, just like Bagdad Bob did. Bob was a lot more fun to watch, though.
"the judiciary is an independent body not subject to politcal influence" because of "lifetime appointments" He doesn't mention that those lifetimes might be adjusted, if the intercepted blackmail material isn't adequate to ensure proper judicial behaviour.
again i would refer you to ...someone in government who give a damn about the american people...good luck
Carney looks like shit.... i think he got shot up with thorazine. maybe that would explain the disinterest his body language is broadcasting... why can't we let the dude back to the porn we interrupted him from?
When I was a kid watching the end of a Romper Room show - I never realized how close to reality that would actually become.

The fact that this douche bag mouth piece doesn't have rotting cabbage and maggot ridden tomatoes dripping from his face right now is a testament to the dick-less toothless tit-less mindless neutered mindless press in this State run oligarchy called the USSA.
Blah blah blah blah blah....fuck you no more questions, thank you.
Not one question on Hilary and Whores?
INCREDIBLE ...Why have a press?
Buehler? Guardian? Anyone?
This reminds me of Joseph Goebbels explaining Nazi policies to the Reich Association of the German Press.
Newspeak has spoken! Are you listening, Winston?
Well it's official, all three branches of govenment agree, we now live in a totalitarian surveillance police state. Just needs a little tweaking for proper balance? It is beyond my comprehension.
These are questions that should be asked and the president welcomes a balanced approach to debate.
Snowden.
An obvious Hollywood created character name.
I'm not sure if he's Snowed In and won't find his way out?
Or if he's living in a Snow Den attempting to starve off the wolves.
His last name is Carney. Any questions?
jay carnage.
Heavily preselected crowd of compromised media. No worries, Obomber can smile his way through everything.
So the powers that be say they welcome a "debate" about this. They think that's a good idea. But the only reason we're talking about it is b/c of Snowden the leaker. Yet they're eager to shut the person down who started the "conversation."
Pathetic fucktards. Whether they're Republicans or Democrats in office they think we're all lobotomized idiots.
Of course, they're not interested in a conversation. They're interested in lulling people into thinking that a national "conversation" (whatever that is) means they still have power, and as Carney says, we will "collectively" decide what to do about all this.
This is like the "de-hiring interview" they had a former staff member at work. No one go fired, they got "de-hired," and all that happened was a nice equal conversation between two parties.
If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever.
