Testimony Of NSA Director Gen. Keith Alexander - Live Webcast
Army Gen. Keith Alexander, director of the National Security Agency and head of U.S. Cyber Command is currently testifying in front of the Senate Appropriations Committee's scheduled session. As TPM reported, Alexander had already met with the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), who chairs the committee, said the committee had asked Alexander to declassify some information pertaining to the NSA surveillance programs so that Congress could better explain their purpose to the public. "I think they're really helpful," Feinstein said, as quoted by CBS News. "And that's the problem, it's all classified... If we can get that declassified then we can speak much more clearly." The flaw in our constitution... it's missing one more branch of government: Public oversight of government activity.
Our politicians and intelligence/law enforcement agencies have colluded to pass legislation protecting themselves from public scrutiny and punishment. They've walled themselves in behind layers of beuracracy intented to keep the public from seeing or knowing what they are truly doing. They use special committees to even hide it from other agencies and politicians. They use terms like "classified" and "sensitive information" as tools to block out our attempts at observation.
We need an amendment that puts an additional check and balance power directly into the hands of the actual public.
Problem is... they keep us from having any control over lawmaking to begin with so our legislators, who have rigged the system into their favor, won't lift a finger to provide any additional transparency into the inner workings of our own government and hence we cannot bring any legislation in without it being in their control. Our elected politicians are nothing but a layer of panderers whose job is really to act as a sea wall against us.

THis is another repeat pattern same as the Presidents speech to excuse his/their bad/evil behavior by claiming their 'intent' is 'good for the nation'.
