Congratulations for sure but I fear it could end up being bittersweet. I certainly hope not!
On the one hand ZH has provided real news and an awesome education for me personally (from contributor's and commentor's alike) in a way that never existed before which is an incredible achievement in and of itself. I hope the rewards from a personal satisfaction standpoint knowing you have created an original concept and established a loyal and devoted following makes all the hard work and long hours worth it for those involved.
My fear is that the increasing popularity and success doesn't end up being the very thing that causes it's demise. Just like a Walmart or an Apple etc... , the underdog startup being invented in the parents garage and is first lauded and held up as a beacon of creativity and entreprenurialism only to see the massive prosperity create jealousy and enemies and turn the original cheers into jeers and a need for many to find ways to knock it down a peg or two. I truly hope that does not come to pass.

Although not directly related to finances, the 19 Day Miracle Recovery of Jeffrey Bauman should allay ANY uncertainties of the bogus mass media circus. This man, supposedly having two legs blown off just two and a half weeks prior, was vigorously waving a large pole mounted flag overhead while sitting upright, in a public arena. quit my job in '08 and found tyler on seeking alpha, as i sat for hours on end with nothing to do but read, and identified tyler as the best contributor on SA and followed along when ZH blogged. soon after the year began in '09, i found another job with renewed enthusiasm from reading ZH and clearing my head of all the BS of msm. i continue to feel enriched and strive to improve clarity of thought from the post and most excellent comments i read every day. my job puts me in contact with many people and every once in a while a certain individual will meet my prerequisite for an introduction to ZH aka fight club. as i frequently say 'its only getting bigger and more satisfactory here at ZH, as we all know the truth is here and few other places.
Well deserved... thank you to all that ZH is and to all who make it so.
Half of those are HFTs looking for market clues.

I hold all the TD's in very high regard. I miss some of the old posters, maybe the NSA got to them. I especially miss mayhem, marla, the swag is mostly gone -got some, the site crashing had certain frontier feeling to it, and now we have a nice balance between chaos, anarchy and the facts as they maybe presented.
And yes we are closer to 1984 than most of me will allow. And the movie I worry about coming true is Brazil, Fight Club you can fight. Brazil is death.

If I were an experienced fx/credit/hedger/algo trader, I would build a site like this and comment on everything that happens in the world and make the connections that ZH makes.
