I love (!) how a protest becomes illegitimate if it has a long list of reasons for protesting!

Shouldn't a long list be a sign that its a legitimate protest, representing diverse interests?

re: the Hedge

ZH is the community.  Who knows what has happened behind the scenes over the last 3 years.  I suspect a handful of original Tylers remain, at best.  But its the community that counts for the most, at this point.

The Hedge now officially gives guidance only on financial matters, having been threatened by legal action if they
were to retain free speech.

Since the only thing really worthy of a human mind is to contemplate about human beings, banning the discussion
about all the different kind of humans and the sciences thereof means practically being rolled into the Matrix, a control system for special dissent as we speak.

Controlled opposition or tolerated dissent,
imagine yourself in a publishers shoes.

@ The Thunder Child:  ". . . the last thing they want."

There is no evidence that a single "they" exists.   It is much more likely that multiple entities want to be Ruler of Planet Earth and are vying for position.

You need to hit the books and do some more research, there is substantial evidence of both the pyramid of control and the luciferian cocksuckers that sit at the top.

As I understand it, the (top top top) thieves allow some level of intergroup rivalry/competition.  After all, they are liars and thieves.  You couldn't stop them from doing so.

You aren't allowed to reveal the rules of the game, or snitch on other thieves, or steal from other thieves (by and large).  That would just get you exterminated with extreme prejudice.

Whats interesting about the Snowden leaks is that it does reveal the rules of the game, but like I mentioned earlier, much of it was already leaked/known.

THEY are the ones who are so fucking wealthy, FORBES leaves them off the top wealthiest people in the world.

How exactly do you think they pull that off?

Trillions of dollars have evaporated into thin air (on pallets, disappearing from the Pentagon, misappropriated and never seen again).

What do you think they'd do with this now "untraceable money?"  USE IT TO BRIBE PEOPLE perhas?

The interesting part of this story is that ES resembles Bradly Manning as far as idealism and a sense of right and wrong.  Is Bradley a plant?

No, there is a huge group behind the curtain which is behind the curtain of the BANKING CARTEL trying to stop what appears to be world domination, complete with theatres of war to keep it interesting and a hold on the food/money/water/education/health care so we know exactly who is in charge.

They've done it before, and they'll do it again and again until you remove them from the ability to hold high level positions in banking and other industries.

These people are looking for the group of individuals who are doing their best to figure out a way to put a stop to this.  Those are the people who ES did this for.  Who are they?  We see them on TV giving interviews, retired generals, colonels, bankers, university professors among others.

The Matrix Fully Realized

This just released and publicized poll by YouGov.com claims that a majority of Americans have shifted against NSA whistleblower, Edward Snowden.

But wait!  The sampling was done online, on the Web, not directly speaking to actual humans, actual American citizens!

Now chatbots, trollbots, opinionbots, etc., software designed to appear as online human commenters and respondents, have been around since the late 1990s, with a number of government agencies utilizing them to mold public opinion:  the Pentagon, CIA, NSA, DHS, etc.

It was just reported last week that the US Department of State spent almost $1 million to establish friends and friending on FaceBook!

Now President Obama appointed Harvard's Cass Sunstein --- the evangelist of "cognitive infilitration" --- to coordinate the artificial consensus manufacturing software of these agencies so that everyone is on the same page, working from the same script, to create and mold artificial public opinion, or pseudo-consensus!

Unless and until that time when YouGov.com, or any other such organization, can categorically prove they were polling actual humans, actual citizens, such polls must be considered specious undertakings, meant to form said opinion, not report it!

"American hero"

Yes, true this but more so, a shining example of the monkey wrench crew doing good works to save the whole system from total martial law chaos that is no less the plan, like what has been done by many other totalitarian and murderous babylonian govts that declared war on their own people for both population elimination and control agendas. Pretty simple really if one studies history at all. The problem and conundrum has always been, how can a reputed modern and civilized society keep falling for it and being the victim of this evil, time and time again?

The only good news is, people all over the planet see the beast for what it is, and ALL have declared war on IT! More and more brothers and sisters are being called forth to do their duty, and serve America as they swore they would do. Again, pretty darn simple to tell the truth that exposes the corruption and criminality in the wicked system, and be a real hero in all of Americas view.

The country is just plain old sick and tired of all the lies, deceptions, distractions false flag events, rising prices on everything, and endless needless useless wars of aggression and conquest for the banksters and MIC profiteering of the few. America is going broke and crashing as the wars go on and on, and all for what? WHY??

Soon, we hope to see more American heroes coming forth to speak truth to power. The babylonians have to be stripped of their powers before they do push a red button of no return. At this time in history, as history is being made, people like Sir Snowden know, it is not too late to turn the tide. Let all the good hearted and faithful light-brigaders go forward NOW to do what is righteous, and good for their country. Tell your truths for the rest of the world's people who know that the light of goodness and love will prevail over darkness and deceptional evil.

We the People are sick and tired of the babylonian govt of hell. Go ahead and make the world's day babylon, make the first move you evil things. Your date with retribution via revolution a la French style is coming!

Disagree.  As I've posted before, the gold standard for the truth of Snowden is that this entire story goes against the Blue-Red divide and conquer strategy of TPTB.  Nothing in this story divides like all other propaganda, rather it joins ALL SERFS of the world.  Snowden has exposed what The Beast does not want us to know:  that they are scared fuck of the American public (and global public) and the loss of consent to govern.

Mon, 07/08/2013 - 14:48 | 3731480 Dr. Engali

"Traitors" or those painted as such also go against the Blue-Red divide. It's too easy for TPTB to get the sheep to demand a restriction on their own freedoms if they believe their safety is in jeapardy. Before this is all over with the herds will be bahhing out for the senate to pass CISPA.

As I stated below, I strongly believe Snowden was absolutely unnecessary for the coming false flag, internet kill switch and subsequent world war.  This scenario was ensured long before.

However, I do agree we are seeing a somewhat new divide - Leftist Statists (neocons and welfare state libtards) are joined in demonizing Snowden for threatening Empire; while the libertarian left and right and true conservatives are joining in the removal of consent.

I stick with my view that Snowden was a very uncomfortable revelation for the Control Freaks.

Having been raised to mostly ignore skin color, I'm completely befuddled as to the importance so many seem to put on it...especially (but not exclusively) nonwhites.  They act like their skin color is all they are.  That's sad.

Half the country thinks Snowden is a hero, half a traitor. The same can be said about Obama, half think he is a hero & half a traitor. Just wish the half that think Obama is some kind of hero would get their head out of their asses & wake up.

Snowden would never be given a fair trial in this country, not with the state controlled media. The media is under the tight fist of the Obama regime & that isn't going to change. Obama & Holder did their best to get race riots started with the Zimmerman case. This is the biggest bunch of bull shit ever. Now they are putting it all on the line for the verdict. There are already threats if Zimmerman walks of killing whites, killing Zimmerman, his attorney, etc. Yes, this country is a boiling pot & Obama keeps turning up the heat. He needs distractions & will take them however he can get them.

Here's how it works: If you talk to 1000 different people, 900 of them will have no qualms.

History is clear on this. The majority is never against the dominant modes of politics, government, etc., despite what some tragically deluded people like to believe, like "silent majority" fairytales. The majority gets what it wants.

Be prepared to meet far more people who are a-okay with every single non-wedge issue abuse that can't be solely blamed on "the other party" (and thus doesn't fit the prescribed model of what's okay to have an opinion on, particularly what's okay to have a strong opinion against). It's happened more times than anyone can count, because it is natural way of large societies. And this time will be no different in that respect.

Dead on, Doc. Just listen to the rising drumbeat of "catastrophic cyberattack" from TPTB in the MSM. Here comes Internet 2.0, where you must have a government ID number to log in, and even then access is restricted. After all, if you click on 'that hostile website' it might introduce a worm into the system. For your own good, and public safety, blah blah blah...

Are you saying that Snowden's access to data inside the various spook places he worked was limited to fake information deliberately put in place for him to steal and disseminate? ...to justify additional state control over the Internet?

Mon, 07/08/2013 - 16:01 | 3731708 Dr. Engali

No, I'm saying that I question the legitimacy of the whole story. This is an exerpt from the MSM:

"What this means is Snowden’s public revelations of classified information may very well be theleast damaging thing he has done. By taking top-secret documents out of the country and carrying them first to China and then to Russia, Snowden has aided and abetted the PLA and the FSB in their espionage efforts against the United States.

That doesn’t make Snowden a hero. It makes him a traitor".

All I'm saying is that they have a meme in place, and that meme is designed to get the sheep lined up behind their efforet. Unfortunately the sheep seem to be falling in line.

I don't think you believe that the only way for the story to be true would be for the Machine/TPTB/Control Freaks to crumble after said revelations.  So, how would you see it playing out for you to believe the story to be true? [same invitation to Fonz and others]

But then why didnt they chose some more straightforward traitorous story that would not damage TPTB? I mean they could have made Snowden to "reveal" stuff that would make TPTB look like angels and Snowden some greedy traitor who was bought off. Then sheep would demand to implement "measures" to prevent this from ever happening again.  For me the only suspect in this story is MSM coverage. Why cover this at all if it damages their masters. I mean, its not like they cover real evidence about 9/11 etc...

He donated to Ron Paul, he's white, intelligent, not classically (brainwashed) educated, has some sense of duty towards just law...

Although i still don't agree with the line of reasoning that he's a plant, i have to admit that he is exactly the target that they would have wanted for the Boston bombing suspects, if they thought they could replay the nineties, however the hatreds have to be massaged in a more diverse manner today...

I think Snowden is the real deal, and hope he is able to get whatever information he has to where its needed.

Now i need to go read something on the Zimmermann trial which i haven't been following, but from what i can gather it sounds like an inverted mix of Rodney king + oj..

Fail.

There is no meme in place.

Various sides are trying to push a meme but it can't take hold because it doesn't have universal appeal. " traitor " is the word only of the pro-gov side.

" hero" is only the word of the anti-gov side. many would simply say "hm, interesting" and maybe not even out loud. Many more would still ask about Kardashian's baby.

This is nowhere near meme status.

The true test of a sheep is "what's a Snowden?" and not an opinion ON Snowden.

Then you failed to understand a lot, good doctor.

NSA is not working alone. Stratfor & Booz Allen are NOT spy agencies they are CORPORATE entities - purpose made on the fly to whatever makes money. They are NOT SECURE. They are NOT able to vet new staff like the CIA of old did. They don't have the training, they do NOT have the gut instinct.

They are keyboard & boardroom warriors with a penchant for siphoning dollars.

They are not spies at heart.

They can't see this coming because they are born not to, just as those who originally became spooks were born for it. They can feel a conspiracy, a place to dig, the right way to torture someone to answer questions, the right proportions all around for a woman selected for a honey-pot.

Booz Allen can't do that. They don't know how. That's why they hired many like Snowden and many more will leak as he did. It's coming. They opened the secrets to too many eyes and assumed they could control it all.

They can't. The NSA hasn't kept enough control over what they do, just too big now. So big it CAN'T be efficient OR contained.

Systemic failure is only a matter of time. part of that failure is leakers. Part of that failure is acquiring "intelligence" only to file it forever. Microsecond resolution to detect something yet weeks to years before it's ever acted on, seen, acknowledged to exist.

they blew it.

It's useless, Dr. Engali. They want their hero/savior/idol/martyr all-in-one and they don't care what feats illogic and disbelief they have to execute to have him.

The decision to view him in Boolean terms as hero OR villain is emotional and subconscious. It happened before they even had time to think about the facts.

I'm very glad to see other skeptics such as yourself around here, fighting a good fight, but the battle is unwinnable. The truth is a complex thing and most just do not want to deal with the complexity or even admit there is anything but the superfluous "truth" that is easily apprehended.

forget Snowden for an instant; just for argument's sake and concentrate on Zorro or Lone Ranger, a good guy, a robin Hood, a man who fights for the people not for the Sheriff of Notty botty.

Its the acts that count; they are in concrete. Its the message to humanity.

Read the message he sends, and don't be bemused by the messenger; like THAT son of a meer carpenter...who would have thought a carpenter's son would shake the world! He was no Caesar nor was he Caesar's MIGNON!

Not that I buy revelatory humbug, but I am prepared to admit he was a good man like none other.

Man I didn't think you could get much more naïve, but you've gone and blasted through the limits of what I thought was possible.

"Its the acts that count"
"Read the message he sends"

Doublespeak!

And yes, slaves, pay ABSOLUTELY no attention to the effects, reactions, consequences, and results. Those things don't matter!

So what if the actions change nothing for the better (and could not reasonably have been assumed to have any chance of doing so) but instead only serve to condition the ignorant.

This applies equally to Christianity and government psyops. Both are examples of highly successful dog-wagging made possible by nothing more than a crude and basic but fundamentally correct understanding of the human mind.

To the fools who say, "if it saves even one life" credulous clowns like you in turn offer up, "if it raises even one person's consciousness (pay no attention to any and all negative effects which we conveniently ignore don't ask questions shut up it's for your own good slave!)". Ignorance and its twin, arrogance, on a truly cosmic scale!

I love it! The plan keeps advancing just the same; let's say three years from now, I hope you look around at the horror and say, gleefully, "gee, I sure am glad that Snowden raised awareness!"

No strawman.

Evo Morales, PRESIDENT MORALES, was forced to land. France, Hollande, fully supported the cause of this and he wasn't alone. PUTIN remains still in the picture as the airport is RUSSIAN.

And yet we're all to believe they, America, diverse & opposed governments all got their PRESIDENTS together to weave a very special colluded theatrical script for US, to foolish white english speaking folks, some from Canukistan like myself & many others from Murrika. And just fucking eat up the story.

Because PRESIDENTS have nothing better to do than put on a fake play for us.

There's no straw man here: you MUST accept this to accept the psy op because they can not go separate directions. If there is a psy op this activity IS linked directly to maintain the psy op. If the PRESIDENTIAL ACTIONS of many nations are NOT A PSY OP then Snowden can't be either because he has no such value to them.

It can't be split. They are joined.

Do you think the politicians who are being surveyed during the personal telephone calls and e-mails are immune from backlash.  Who could they be speaking with and what could they be saying?  Let me see...

You are with us or against us is the theme remember.

Just a comment about the personal opinion would be enough to estrange these politicians from the "banking cartel" who is putting into place a redesigned banking structure.  Disagreements of any kind would be significant and would exclude you from participation and possibly land you in the hole by the time they have full control of military.

Not only that, they have affairs, have side gigs, have personal issues with family members, have medical conditions, an illigitimate child somewhere, skeletons in closets.

Taking part in a opposition group is what I would hope the more intelligent leaders would be doing.  Attempts to stop centralization surely are taking place behind the scenes.  We all know this is for chosen ones and if you aren't in their group, you will eventually be found of little use.

Redistricting and election fraud is surely taking place as well.

This is why I believe ES came forward.  I believe he is real.  I believe he cannot live with the fact that in the end, we will have a regime in place that no one will be able to overthrow.  Hoarding of the money supply, gold, cornering the major industries, food supply, interfering with natural processes.

Purge will be taking place with this information.  A typed word could send an innocent person into the category of an undesireable.

Tsk Tsk you say?  Well it has happened before enough times I do not really believe you do not believe that taking out any opposition, any way possible, in order to gain a foothold of power on all nations is unbelievable.

"What a fucking idiot."  is all that would have to be said about someone to end up on the NSA Shit List...oh who would be a major hand in this diabolical attempt to take over the world....the ones at the end of the money trail.

AN INTERESTING CONVERSATION BETWEEN MR. PUTIN AND MR. SNOWDEN

FROM FLY ON THE WALL TECHNOLOGIES (FLOWT)

Mr. Putin: I’m sorry I can’t offer you permanent resident status here Mr. Snowden

Mr. Snowden: Hey, I understand your position Mr. Putin.

Mr. Putin: We don’t like Americans. I’m especially not fond of Mr. Obama as he stands for many things that we do not recognize as fundamentally sound principles of a healthy society. Like homosexuality. He is also known to be disproportionately interested in securing the interests of minority black people in your country through government transfers.

Mr. Snowden: Yes, well you know, it used to be you could speak your mind in the United States. It hasn’t been that way in at least thirty years.

Mr. Putin: Well as you know, we do not respect the same ideas any more, if we ever did. But that does not mean that we do not recognize the United States as a rather large "Gorilla" or "Elephant" in the room, so to speak. We do not underestimate your country's use of it’s tools, all of them, to effect the changes they seek.

Mr. Snowden: Yes, the United States has their hand around the necks of most countries around the world now both militarily and economically.

Mr. Putin: To be honest with you, I did try to bargain with Mr. Obama regarding his position in our current Syria theater of operations. He was quite bull headed. I suspect he is quite arrogant in his personal life also. I was hoping to secure our naval base in Syria. It is looking like we will eventually lose that access to western powers who wish to disrupt our control over natural gas prices in Europe with a European pipeline through Qatar.

Mr. Snowden: Again, I understand completely Mr. Putin. You are trying to do what is in the best interests of your countrymen. Something we also used to do in our country.

Mr. Putin: As a result of American influence in this situation, and because they have been made the laughing stock of the intelligence and security world over your disclosures you are unfortunately too much of a proverbial “hot potato” for us to keep here sir.

Mr. Snowden: I’m looking into asylum in Nicaragua and Venezuela as we speak Mr. Putin.

Mr. Putin: What about Iceland?

Mr. Snowden: It appears that Iceland was co-opted by the Financial Elites shortly after the then ruling politiicans got serious about prosecuting them after the banking collapse in 2008. The Financial Elites weren’t willing to risk another problem with Icelandic politicians like the one they had last time around. The result is that the politicians are now all in the pocket of western governments.

Mr. Putin: Our intelligence tells us the same thing about them. The bankers are truly positioning themselves world wide to rule, as if they did not control enough of the world’s wealth, eh? “Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely” I believe?

Mr. Snowden: So true Mr. Putin. So True.

Mr. Putin: Take your time finding what you need Mr. Snowden. You are safe in Russia. There are no CIA agents running around here that we do not know about. And some of them actually think we don’t know about them.

Mr. Snowden: Thank you sir.

Seem to be the two basic camps who actually have a considered opinion.  The issue is not Ed Snowden himself (hero, villain, or normal guy with old-fashioned world views), but what kind of a country and world we want to live in and do NOT want to live in.

NSA says Edward Snowden has "caused irreversible and significant damage to our country and to our allies." Who is the NSA kidding, Obama already did that & continues on a daily basis.

Do not forget about possibility of a high level treason.

I like how you failed to mention their Soviet-agent (or if you want to pedantic, some were Comintern, like there's a difference) counterparts in the US going back much earlier.

Why is Snowden getting so much media attention whereas Sibel Edmonds got basically zero? Maybe because she stumbled on something far bigger (9/11).

Because Snowden is an invention of the Surveillance State and doesn't actually exist. Sibel is a real person and hard to control.

"The social atmosphere is that of a besieged city.. And at the same time the consciousness of being at war, and therefore in danger, makes the handing-over of all power to a small caste seem the natural, unavoidable condition of survival."

Exactly!  It's no accident that Julian Assange made sure that wikileaks in all its millions of pages of "leaks" has absolutely no mention of the biggest crime in history, the criminal conspiracy with Israel to attack our own people in the genocidal false-flag attack of 9/11 to create a pretext for eternal war against a "enemy" of our own creation.

Snowden and wikileaks are hand in glove; both are tools of the spy agencies.

The info released is what the government wanted released.

It's called a "partial hangout"

You actually believe Israel was behind the 9/11 attacks?

You must be a Islamic apologist.

Everything I've read on the subject says moslems were involved, and only moslems.
