Snowden May Or May Not Have Accepted Venezuela Asylum Offer
Just out:
#BREAKING: Edward Snowden agrees to asylum in Venezuela: top lawmaker
— Agence France-Presse (@AFP) July 9, 2013
BREAKING: Lawmaker close to Kremlin tweets that Edward Snowden has accepted Venezuela's asylum offer.
— The Associated Press (@AP) July 9, 2013
Not a bad deal: beautiful sun, beautiful sand, beautiful women. Just bring lots of toilet paper.

Update: maybe not just yet:
Tweet in which Russian lawmaker said Snowden accepted Venezuela's offer of asylum no longer visible on Twitter
— Reuters India (@ReutersIndia) July 9, 2013
And from Bloomberg:
- KREMLIN SAYS HAS NO INFO ON SNOWDEN ACCEPTING VENEZUELAN ASYLU
It appears the confusion is due to a tweet by Russian politicians and head of the international affairs committee Alexey Pushkov, in which he said Snowden accepted asylum, only to have said tweet deleted moments later. Here is the tweet as it first appeared.
More from Sky News:
US intelligence whistleblower Edward Snowden has accepted an offer of political asylum from Venezuela, a Russian politician says.
In a tweet, the head of the Russian parliament's foreign affairs committee, Alexei Pushkov wrote: "Snowden has given his agreement to (Venezuelan President Nicolas) Maduro's offer of political asylum."
However the tweet was quickly removed from his account.
Snowden leaked details of a US intelligence programme used to monitor Internet activity and is on the run after espionage
charges were filed against him.
He is believed to have been in a transit zone in Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport since June 23 after he reportedly failed to board a flight to Cuba.

I hope there is more to come in trems of revelations, otherwise this was not worth it. The public needs a TNT suppository in order to get it.
If he still has USD in possession, then he will have a ton of toilet paper supply.
Update: So is Snowden tapering OR not tapering??? Or is Bernanke the one seeking asylum someone else when shit hits the fan.
Snowden is tapering just in time for Middleton to pop out the next reptile...
Hooray, Arepas for everyone!

Its incredible what you can do once youve got ur gold back, right Germany!
marketwatch reporting no criminal charges will be filed against corzine by the holder justice dept.
snowden is fake. like assange was fake. all designed to herd public opinion. it might not make much sense, unless you release yourself from the assumption that the U.S. government is the puppetmaster, rather than just another puppet.
I agree Assange doesn't pass the 9/11 litmus test and I personally don't trust him but Snowden seems to be keeping it real for the moment. Snowden had no association to Wikileaks when he started but they seem to latch on pretty damn quickly once he showed his face, it is my guess is in order to have some measure of control on his leaks. I don't see the benefit of awakening the masses to this massive domestic surveillance, forcing down Bolivia air force one and damaging the reputation of major IT companies like Apple, MS, Facefuck and Google causing people to drop their products.
Of course I could be wrong...just airing my thoughts.
All those companies' products, they are the epitome of mediocrity celebrated as excellence. Folks wouldn't recognize excellence if it left-hooked 'em in the jaw.
AOL. They all remind me of america on line. They are all trying to build a cloud based world that entraps the customer into their reality or "matrix". Thus they are destined to fail. Google is the most divergent one and will be last to fail.
UK Guardian pumping Edward Snowden, is a 'news source' of the Rothschilds, the wealthiest family in the world
« The Guardian is controlled by Guardian Media Group, whose chairman is Paul Myners, a past employee of N M Rothschild & Sons Limited. Guardian Media Group is owned by the Scott Trust, which became a limited private company in 2008, with all trustees becoming directors of the Scott Trust. Anthony Salz was appointed as a trustee of the Scott Trust in 2009; he is currently executive vice-chairman of the investment bank Rothschild. »

The Rothschild family is estimated by mainstream sources (Forbes etc) to have a wealth in excess of US $ 400 billion ($.4 trillion !), but they spread it among numerous family members and thus can avoid the 'top billionaires' lists.
One of the oddest things the ultra-Zionist Rothschilds have done, is their funding, design and construction of the extremely spooky Israeli Supreme Court building with Masonic and pagan symbols ... Very creepy and satanic-seeming, has been covered by leading Israeli radical journalist Barry Chamish. Photos of that weird structure here -

9/11 is a potential stigma. Opinions are controversial and the topic is emotional. Much like homosexuality was during the last century. Best not to talk about it.
Why should Snowden distort his image with revelations about 9/11 that could potentially hurt his credibility? Most here knew about what Snowden made public but we had no clear evidence. Now the we know for sure and more importantly, the world knows.
Snowden is the real deal.
I agree 100% Snowden would make a mess of things by talking about it or expressing his opinions of it due to the forementioned stigma and the limited perceptions of the masses. I was merely pointing out that Assange is not to be trusted based on his 9/11 comments for it truly is a litmus test for us awakened folks.
"I'm constantly annoyed that people are distracted by false conspiracies such as 9/11, when all around we provide evidence of real conspiracies, for war or mass financial fraud." - Julian Assange
One of those statements I'd like to dig deeper on. Having tea with Assange at my mountain retreat would be a good idea. Weather is very nice this time of year. Endless views over sun drenched pastures and valleys. The only sounds are birds chirping and wind chimes. Not a soul to be heard or seen. I'd offer asylum to Snowden if he left a secure phone number.
Ribnonuclide, by any chance do you know by memory the structure of the gene code of certain dangerous bacteria? If so,hi from an old acquientanc, you could truly offer him asylum, and you are in the mountains indeed.
"Why should Snowden distort his image with revelations about 9/11 that could potentially hurt his credibility?"
How would telling the truth about a US government inside job false flag modeled after Operation Northwoods hurt his credibility? Explain that one, Cletus...
Well, I would say that we ought to keep an eye on all Venezuelan flights to/from Moscow, but there aren't any airlines flying that route. Closest you get is Madrid.
Methinks this is a diversion.
If Russia is that worried about him they can stick him on a sub...
Exactly. "They got direct flights everyday." Not sure I'd be on board but these aren't folks who ask for permission...let alone have it broadcast. I still think coming home to the folks in PA is what scares everyone the most. The idea that he might be hugely popular bothers some I imagine. God for I'd if he got a monster book deal. "The end of civilization as we know it" of course.
Yeah Right... Snowden is going to come back to the US & get the 'screenwriting' credit for 'National Treasure 3'... He'll fucking tell everyone what's on page 47 of the Presidents 'Secret Book'...
He could fly east from Moscow to Vladivostok and across the Pacific...
Smacker, do you remember our last conversations?
the Austrian Prez made a point of noting - in a tiny little side-remark outside of the big, global media... that the plane was never searched. Then a "State Plane", in the same way as "State Ships", has no automatic right of passage (yes, a private vessel has more rights according International Law & various treaties), though it's quite protected from searches
An Austrian officer boarded the plane to talk to the pilot, and made the "official" remark of "not having seen anybody" (note: one glance, no opening of restroom door or similar things), which generated a statement by the Austrian Foreign Ministry in this vague direction, which was than promply misunderstood as "Austria certifies: no Snowden on board"
result: "US jets scrambling" and forcing FAB1 to land would have then looked extremely silly, besides the diplomatic breach of protocol. no repeat of a "Sigonella 1985 situation".
FAB1 continued it's flight, unsearched. IF Snowden was on board, then...
I don't recall your previous comments about Austria. Nevertheless, I personally never saw Austria as one of the 'difficult' EU nations in that Bolivian plane fiasco. The countries were: Italy, Spain (declined a pit-stop on the Canaries), France and Portugal. All of which had previously approved his flightpath. If the flightpath took that plane over other EU countries, we can probably assume they too would have denied access to their airspace, after the Obama gang worked the phones.
A little known fact is that he eventually had another pit-stop in Forteleza/Brazil without incident, before going home to La Paz (according to Brazil TV Globo).
I think you are also alluding to the possibility that if the Austrians did NOT search the plane, then Obama would still not know if Snowden was on board. I have some doubts about this and who's to say the Austrians aren't lying to cover their ass?
You think that Snowden might already be in Latin America. Is that right? This is certainly possible but I wouldn't place a bet on it, unless there is some serious disinformation being spread around to protect his travel movements.
Methinks we will all know where he is within a coupla weeks...
like I said before, the topic "Snowden" is a huge deal in Germany and Europe
http://www.spiegel.de/politik/ausland/bild-910213-518756.html
"Snowden is a huge deal in Germany and Europe"
OK ...and ?
[btw: That Spiegel long flightpath to Venezuela is probably possible in (say) a Russian A330 like the one they fly to Cuba, but it still goes far too close for comfort to US airspace. IMHO. Strange things might happen over the Atlantic which might then get blamed onto poor Russian aircraft maintenance etc. From a passenger safety viewpoint, the Eastern route via Vladivostok-Pacific is safer methinks.]
KAL 007 redux incoming.
@MsC
He could reveal documents that show that BHO sanctioned a CIA operation to stage the assasination of an already-dead and buried OBL, and the majority of people wouldn't care. In other words, the corruption is a "known known," so it's not big news.
People care when they hear that their government is watching them and following, registering, categorizing and documenting each and every move they make and each and every opinion they hold.
That's when government becomes a tyranny. People start looking for ways out and will start to operate in the shadows. The US government has lost many citizens with this revelation. Give it some time to sink in.
I wish I could laugh at that, but I'm afraid you're probably right. Most Americans are so complacent about their freedom that they are blind to what's going on!
As many have been saying here for a very long time, there will never be an awakening 'in time'. The only wake-up call will be the last call: no grid electicity, no city water, no food supply chain. Coming sooner than 97% are ready for....
He worked for the CIA before he worked for the NSA. With a resume like that he certainly has references in low places. I wouldn't be surprised if we are seeing the manifestation of a CIA NSA feud. Snowden has been one of the most professionally managed whistle blowers ever seen. His abracadabra out of Hong kong was particularly impressive.
What's more to come? They've got everything on everybody everywhere.
The missing Obama documents and his birth cirtificate.
@dcj98gst
I wish that it could be produced, but would it matter? There would be no shortage of partisan nut-huggers, standing by their man. He's the imperial president (like all others before him). We lost the rule of law long ago and there is no system of checks and balances in our government, if it ever existed.
"there is no system of checks and balances in our government, if it ever existed."
I am wondering about this too. I am revisiting "1984" right now. People talk about how prescient the work was. I disagree. I think George saw what already was (lies, manipulation, propaganda on all sides, cognitive dissonance) and merely amped it up a level for the story, to make what already was, be more visible. Said another way, you and I are babes in the woods and it has always been this way. That does not mean we should not resist or that we should fall asleep, but nothing is different, only our awareness. That you and I thought anything else is a successful demonstration of our "totalization."
I never win raffles, lotteries, my sports teams always lose, my car needs new wheel bearings and my boss is an asshole, but please, oh please, for the love of all things, let their be a bombshell release of all Barry's falsified documents!

It's too bad the good ol' "land of the free" doesn't want him back unless it includes safe transport to a supermax jail where he will get no bail, and be suicided within a few weeks. What a sad time for liberty.

I hope he finds asylum but honestly we need less about the messenger more about the dystopian nightmare and solutions. I have yet to see a combo article with Russ Tice, William Binney and Snowdens revelations combined to paint the big NSA picture.
SCG has an interesting new vid worth the watch:

Sibel Edmonds is still allowing a free download of her 6/17/13 interview with Tice and Corbett, grep it while you still can:

Excellent interview, I listened to it when it was first released.
Tough deciding on one's destination, like Dwight Howard.
IMO hes where he wants to be already.. Would you anounce your plans knowing the corrupt lying bastards cant wait to get their hands on you? I dont even let all of my friends know my plans until ive returned.
There have been no new releases of information from Snowden's stack since he arrived in Russia. The Russians have threatened him if he releases anything. What you've seen lately are contents of interviews he gave in the past, before his identity was publicly revealed.
There won't be any more from Snowden or the Guardian unless or until he manages to get out of Russia, which may be never - or unless Snowden himself decides to forfeit his life for the sake of the truth.
Good point. Greenwald said about a week ago that he had something that would "shock" the world, but so far nothing. Everything is now on the down low until Snowden is safe or dead.
An interesting take on the whole Snowden issues and spying on your friends is avaiable on the "War on the Rocks" website.
The article is called "Everybody Spies"
http://warontherocks.com/2013/07/everybody-spies/
Just don't get all 'choosy beggar' now Snowden....sounds like you better take whatever offer you get!
Didn't Reagan put a stop to that?
It's been a while, but I remember... Back when Police weren't glorified tax collectors, helmets were optional, kid's lemonade stands were a summer standard and firearmes/ammo were cheap, et.. Giving away 'free' shit has created a pathetic and cowardly Socialist Safe State....
Never take your first offer

How it works in 2013: Russia MP @Alexey_Pushkov is watching TV, tweets what he hears. The world's media breaks the news citing MP as source.

Nicaragua is his best offer as loyal US have less power than the loyal US Venezuelans. Also, Chavez's recent death creates instability the CIA can abuse.

Break out of your little propaganda media and look abroad. President Maduro of Venezuela stated that the Venezuelan government has received Snowden's asylum request.
In Spanish- http://www.aporrea.org/actualidad/n232323.html
1. He's Twittering after all this? How ironic.
2. He's accepting asylum before he gets there? Publicly? How dumb.
Is it just me? What gives? Besides Disinfo fun?
I did not see a tweet from Snowden. I did not see him say he accepted anything publicly.
"Snowdendingers Cat"
Cant he hop on a private jet? How could they track him?
Commercial carriers are afraid of US retaliation to their business.
Now that air piracy is "on the table", the 'air space' route to get there is tricky.
would need a Gulfstream jet & donor Moscow-Caracas = ~ $250,000
Yes, knowing that, the US government may be able to track the flight.
And yes, Obama's remark that he would not "scramble jets" to intercept Snowden cannot be taken at word.
http://www.theatlanticwire.com/global/2013/07/heres-how-snowden-could-le...
Snowden may be considering Putin's offer, if it is still open.
what happened to Snowden's GF? Maybe AFP could get the low down on that. She needs to take the plane to Caracas!
Apparently he is not happy she needs her vibrator in his absence. He wants her just to stick to sliding on poles and does not want any loose ones, fleshy or plastic, to invade her network; where NSA fingering is totally verboten.

Must be very lonely in transit in Mosco airport w/o a girl to soothe your testosterone pit.
Luckily Venezuela is a sweet spot for horny males on the run who need to land horizontal on soft Caracas turf splurging hot wikileaks type lava on Latino orifice spying; not like crashing brazenly into SF airport, or riding burning saddles into Quebec sleepy town on a runaway canukoil iron horse.
Best of luck with the Bonitas goldilocks of Caracas, Edward.
Kudos for your hard hitting good hand-job, tossing NSA's nuts thru the net cracker suite, like Uncle Sam's holy shit concocted by Booz Allen's peepholing Fukushima toxic Prism reactor. That is soooo full of Stasi Strontium and Tritium it stinks to hi heaven.
EDWARD MUST ALSO CARRY SOME HAND SANITIZER WITH HIM. IF I WAS HIM, I WOULD NOT LIKE TO SHAKE HANDS WITH VENEZUELANS.
I have it on good authority that there are 5 leprachaun suits winging their way to ?????????? ????????????? as we speak.

Irish judiciary refuses arrest warrant for Snowden. Irish Minister for Justice panics and needing to do the biding of the US and Israel, grovels to try to do some damage limitation with the US (and his friends in Israel)...while overstepping his authority NOT TO INTERFER WITH THE JUDICIARY
http://www.independent.ie/irish-news/courts/us-request-for-snowden-arres...
"Justice Minister Alan Shatter last night noted that the courts are independent, but said the ruling did not prevent a fresh application being made for an arrest warrant for Mr Snowden.
"The Irish and US authorities have remained in close contact about this matter and, for its part, the Government will take any action open to it to ensure that the State's obligations in relation to extradition arrangements are met," he said.
"It should be noted that what the court addressed was the issuing of an arrest warrant, rather than a determination as to whether an individual should or should not be extradited."
We're surrounded by the curs. Good. The list grows,

No Shatter?!? How about that.

May Snowden be safe wherever he finds asylum. We are the ones that are in trouble. The insane in this country have taken over the asylum.
Here's hoping if Snowden lands in Venezuela that he never squeezes the Charmin or runs out of it!
