Caption Contest: Golden Dusk
As we earlier noted, the leader of the third most popular Greek political party (pictured here) and a number of other Golden Dawn affiliates have been arrested. Whether guilty or not, the look of disgust on his face reflects well on the state of the world this weekend in general; as two of the three largest debtor nations in the world face massive political upheavals.

Do you even realize what an evil clown that statement makes you out to be? If an "enforcer" or thug commits a crime, charge him and put him in jail. However, freedom of thought and freedom of association should never be criminalized. Slippery slope, that.
If you put a man in jail because of his thoughts or his words, you are a criminal.
If the EU outlaws some thoughts, or outlaws some political parties because of their views, then the EU is a criminal organization.
Democracy is only tolerated as long as the policitians can be controlled. That obviously does not include antisemitic antibanking policitians in GD.

Wish I could up-vote this post a couple dozen times or so. The EU looked at the polling numbers for the GD and shit their pants. Once they wiped and changed their drawers, they got on the phone and proceeded to set GD up good and hard.

History doesn't repeat but it really does seem to rhyme!

As a Greek I would be laughing my ass off when the next opposition party will be cracked down.
While I'm not a voter of this party, partly because they play their role as a coil to the voters of the "mainstream" governing parties,
I have to say that they are accused of being a criminal organisation without being charged with another crime. In my books this is prosecution for their political beliefs.
The absurd part is that the governing parties are mixed in many scandals which they cannot be prosecuted and have immunity for all their deeds. The only times when a politician is prosecuted is when they are caught right handed. The best example is former minister Tsoxatzopoulos who took black money for the purchase of weapons(AA weapons and submarines) in the expense of the state and is prosecuted for trying to legitimize the money. He had immunity for the crime of acting against the state simply because the legistrator, Mr Venizelos(todays government vice-president and minister of foreign affairs), forgot to draft this kind of offence in the immunity system.
Furthermore, for the purchase of those weapons, the then prime minister Simitis, minister Venizelos and all the major ministers have signed, the Justice system knows that black money existed in these case they refused to investigate if any others than Tsoxatzopoulos took money as if he was the only responsible in these affairs.
To summarize, YES, GOLDEN DAWN is a political problem for Greece but it is a product of misgoverning. The proof is that at the 2009 elections they had only 0.29% of the votes in general elections. But they are orders of magnitude far from the real problems here in Greece.

That picture says it all, especially the mask wearing criminals. The look of outraged defiance on the victims face is not going to be easily forgotten. It's the look of someone who understands that ALL banker/gangster run States are criminal conspiracies against their citizenry, or should we say subjects?
A term is needed to describe this new form of government....... Thugocracy might fit the bill.
