T-Minus 60 Minutes: Harry Reid Says Will Not Go To Conference - Live Feed From Senate
Much confusion with just one hour left as Eric Cantor seeks to request a conference with the Senate. This is taking place even as the White House budget office will instruct agencies on a shutdown in under 30 minutes. And moments ago, Harry Reid said from the Senate that he would "not go to conference" until he gets a clean CR. So unless the House Republicans fold completely, as Democrats hope they will, the shutdown is assured.

I suggest a "Clean" resolution which, however, INSISTS that Obamacare is FULLY implemented on October 1st with NO exemptions or delays for anyone, including Unions, Special Interests and, most importantly, Congress itself. Downsized from a medium sized family business with 20 years of employment managing people in Milwaukee and Chicago. The 08 bubble burting close a 42 year old company with 400 employees in 12 major midwest cities. I haven't had insurance of any kind since 2009. I paid for the wife's cataract surgery out of pocket. The government, aside from military, road building, FAA and a few other choice services has really done nothing for me. I have been self employed a major part of 40 years of working. I have paid multiple tens of thousands of dollars per year all my life into federal, state, local, real estate, fuel, sales, excise and business taxes. We pay tolls here in Illinois, a state that just doubled tolls and raised personal state income tax from 3 to 5% and bumped business taxes up as well. With no insurance for the first time in my life and little income as I was beginning yet another business though not by choice and my wife too young for medicare do you know what they would do for her and I for cataract surgery? Nothing, zero, nada. Go down to the county hospital where all the gun shot victims are taken in downtown chicago and wait in line. I have a family of illegals with three married couples and 9 kids in a single family house living behind me. If I say anything to the city about that I am a racist. I paid for cataract surgery. Cash. Know where it came from? I earned it. I saved it. After paying government over thirty thousand dollars my last year of sales management you know what they do for me when I need help? Wrong color, wrong neighborhood. Let it all burn. Cash only everything. See how long soldiers work when they don't get paid. We will have illegal house painters working as physicians in health clinics when government is in charge.
