Foodstamp Program Shutdown Imminent?
When over the weekend, a Xerox "glitch" shut down the EBT system, better known as foodstamps, for nearly the entire day across 17 states leaving millions without "funding" to pay for food leading to dramatic examples of the basest human behavior possible, some of the more conspiratorial elements saw this merely as a dress rehearsal for what may be coming in the immediate future. While there was no basis to believe that is the case, a USDA (the currently shuttered agency that administers the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) memo obtained by the Crossroads Urban Center in Utah carries in it a very disturbing warning for the 46+ million Americans currently on foodstamps.
To wit: "understanding the operational issues and constraints that States face, and in the interest of preserving maximum flexibility, we are directing States to hold their November issuance files and delay transmission to State electronic benefit transfer (EBT) vendors until further notice." In other words, as Fox13News summarizes, "States across the country are being told to stop the supplemental nutrition assistance program for the month of November, pending further notice."
The full memo first posted on the Crossroads Facebook page is shown below:
More on this dramatic development which, if implemented, would will result in significant unpredictable outcomes across the nation:
“This is going to create a huge hardship for the people we serve here in our food pantry,” says Bill Tibbits who is the Associate Director at Crossroads Urban Center.
They posted a letter from the USDA on its Facebook page. It says in part, “in the interest of preserving maximum flexibility, we are directing states to hold their November issuance files and delay transmission to state electronic benefit transfer vendors until further notice.”
“What this means if there’s not a deal, if Congress doesn’t reach a deal to get federal government back up and running, in Utah about 100,000 families won’t get food stamp benefit,” says Tibbits.
In other words, tens of thousands of Utah families may not be able to feed their children come November.
...
“People out here are going to go without food,” says Loralee Smith whose been homeless since August and says the uncertainty is making her uneasy about where her next meal will come from. “I’m on food stamps, I don’t know if I’m going to get them, a lot of people are on food stamps and they don’t know if they’re going to get them.”
Others say if SNAP shuts down, they’ll find a way to feed themselves.
One hopes such "alternative" feeding arrangements will be peaceful, although in the most heavily armed nation in the world, and arguably the one where a massive portion of the population is now fully reliant on the welfare state for virtually every daily need, it is easy to see cutting off daily bread to tens of millions has a less than happy ending.
As the report notes, for people out on the streets like Richard Phillips, "It could impact us and it’s going to cause problems because you’re going to come to find out that people are going to steal and do what they have to do to survive."
Such a realization could come as a very unpleasant wake up call for the millions of other Americans who still live in their Ivory Towers, focusing on the daily gyrations of the S&P500, and largely oblivious of how the rest of America lives.
The full report on what may be the most catalytic event in the history of the US welfare state is presented below.

A new American Olympic sport, DUMSTER DIVING.
Very popular in Spain, soon to be an international sport!
How do these people know about the limits not being there at the exact time? Insider info?
http://www.ksla.com/story/23690301/not-all-ebt-card-users-joined-in-on-limitless-walmart-shopping-spree
The honest guy in that story must have been a plant. He claims he only gets $150 in Snap benefits for a family of four.
There must be glitches everyday with the food stamp cards I see being used. Last week I saw one unmarried black woman with three kids use an EBT card to buy $400 in groceries. How did she get $400+ and that guy only gets $150?
He must be doing something wrong. I've never seen a cartload under $150 go through a checkout line with an EBT being swiped.
Yeah, I was kind of confused by that one point as well. Not sure what was going on other than the usual propaganda stuff.
Depends on where you live, how much you earn, the value of your assets and belongings, etc. Most people on SNAP do have jobs. All that stuff is on a sliding scale. Whcih actually makes it harder to regain self-sufficiency even if you're trying, because if you work harder and earn more your assistance goes down, keeping you in the same miserable place. Of course, some people start out so low and have no illusions of or desire to take care of themselves. They get the maximum benefits, of course.
maybe he works part time so that is all he is elligible for? I don't know how the system works and am only speculating.
There must be some sort of sanity check in the system right? Not just give everyone $500 a month because they signed up.
Women with children always qualify for more, like by the head, pretty sure at least, single men get the least.
All members of the Leech social network - word spreads fast.
Whatever HH posted directly below this is causing my computer to blow up; I can't see any posts below it...
Yup I had the same problem for awhile. It seems to have cleared up for me now.
Edit: NM its back lol.
Yea, same problem yesterday, he's a government plant:)
Maybe you three relics could go back to Netscape Navigator on your Amiga 64 computers.

Wow did you see the link of the off duty cop arresting the lady on that page, what a mother fucker !
A day or two ago, someone here observed that the day is approaching when cops are going to have to choose sides.
I replied that they already have, and it sure ain't ours.

Procrastinated? Panicked? Prepare?
Here is a short checklist of last-second TEOTWAWKI prep for a
neophyte that has done essentially nothing so far, and believes there are only
a few hours to prepare for zombies. The
main problem you will likely face is that if you believe TEOTWAWKI is imminent,
then it is likely that others do as well.
The laws of supply and demand will be very difficult to overcome.

I'm stockpiling perfume and nail polish.
Remember that rats will forgoe food for sex. Long prostitution. I might even throw some rubbers in the ol' cache. I can be an apocalyptic pimp, a Mad Max with a Coat of Many Colours.
If you can find one...Benelli Nova H2O Pump 12g 18.5" Nickel is ideal for this scenario.
Here is the type of ammo you are looking for, ideally:
Have a nice day!
Awesome weapon. Personally I prefer the Mossberg Persuader. After all, Jack Reacher recommended it.
I am a Benelli M2 fan, but the post isn't for people like me.
Give me a break already HH. Are you a paid spokesman for www.ruralbatshitgoods4u.com?
Wake me when TBTF is no longer empowered to either own, finance, or manipulate prices for food, or when climate change overcomes Monsanto & Ilk's ability to manufacture cheap calories.
Many of your fellow New Yorkers felt the way you do.
Great book.
"Doctors riot"
I'd like to see that one.
I've got a Mossberg and Remington buckshot, but I suppose it will do the job.
590a1 with Federal 00 Buck. The guy on the business end of it won't care about the brand of the gun or the ammo so long as it functions properly and you know what you're doing. I'm sure HH would agree with me on this.
Mossberg 835 Ulti Mag with 3 1/2" buck for me. Doubles as a turkey gun come spring time.
The mob ransacked the hospital and attacked the doctors because of alleged grave robbery to provide cadavers for the medical students. The troops had to be called in to shoot some of the rioters. Good times...good times.
Organ donors?
Why don't I go back another century and suggest we prep for the English invading?
Thanks for telling me the history of my own streets. You read it in books, it's in my blood. You can have your history books.
My great grandfather on my Irish side lost two fingers driving horses up Broadway. He didn't bitch, he learned to war, to become a financial guerrilla, and his subsequent generations also went to war on the streets over labor wages. On the Italian side, the family distilled wine from grapes grown on a half-acre lot in Corona and paid off local cops on Sunday by hiding bottles in generous pots of fresh pasta delivered to the station house. I know a thing or two about how it all operates on the street level.
There are some who curse entire places or people. Maybe the fools who curse have been projecting their own fantasies of mass hysteria on their own imaginings of the world at large, and should take a more recent history lesson.
There has been mass gentrification since the early 90's in those parts of the city that threaten to assume critical riot mass in TEOTWAWKI. If you say the whole thing is manufactured, than so would be the response. I suggest you figure out who lives in the densest areas of MAnhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens ...
How about a more recent history lesson, like Cairo, a modern city of 8 million people?
I seem to recall that the trouble, there, started with people upset over the high cost of food.
Unfortunately, not a fantasy, but actual mass hysteria in 2013. Neighbors killing neighbors.
How about, that's American grain that they can no longer afford. This is what happens when sellers can't reach buyers. How is the relationship to NYC made here? Via redemption fantasy, that's how. Keep grasping. Better yet, enjoy your farm made goods, seriously. I imagine your water is cheaply attained, as in the Hudson River Valley, the real spring of NYC's wealth. Just don't imagine outcomes that won't actually come out.
70% of African Americans rely on SNAP because they cannot afford that very same American grain.
I wish I had your crystal ball. I would no longer need to account for normalcy bias.
Since I do not have a crystal ball, and I live in a place that respects my natural right to defend myself, unlike NYC, I choose to own a firearm. I would much rather have one and not need it, then need one and not have it.
I feel badly that you and your neighbors no longer have that choice, and have given up the natural right of self preservation. You are correct, everything will probably work out just fine. I pray that it does.
Peace.

earned with hard work
much better..
A warmer climate will increase rainfall. More co2 should also benefit plant growth.
Why do you recommend an expensive shotgun and cheap ammo?
That is one of the nice things about a Benelli. It will eat absolutely anything.
S&B works ok in a Remington 870. Or so I've heard ;-)
So will a Mossberg 500 or a Remington 870. The better shells have better cups and slightly tighter spread pattern. Just sayin'
3 1/2" 12 guage Remington Accu tips for stopping vehicles at 100 yds.
2 3/4" 12 gauge 00 buck, aim for the radiator.
S&B 00 works just fine. Wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of any shotgun loaded with it. Always wanted to pick up a Keltec KSG, but haven't found one at the right price. It would be a great Zombie stopper. Load it with some homemade "waxers" with it's 14+1 capacity....
Waxers (graphic): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkPgba1vWtU
Actually, I have read experts who claim that you have greater stopping power with #1 buckshot than with 00.
Not than I can speak from experience on the matter.
I sure hope 00 and slugs work adequately.
I have six pairs of scissors, three desks and four septic tanks
And a hose
And a fan........
You will last exactly 6 seconds then...LOL
Probably advocating durability/logenvity.
I'm not a huge fan of the shotgun for home defense bandwagon, especially if women need to use it, but their biggest virtue is their bang for the buck (unintended pun) is unmatched -- an 870 can be had new for $300, as can a mossberg 500. Both are fine choices for defense on the cheap. If you have any money at all, though, an AR or AK is the place to be.
Mrs. Horseman would strongly disagree with you on this point, and she is a willowy 125.
There is nothing like a head on a stick to leave a clear message about trespass and entry...
And if the miscreant (sorry Ms.) decides otherwise, there is absolutely nothing like a blast of 00 coming thorough the plasterboard to say "Y'all didn't listen now, didja?" as it bleeds out.
I have no problem with a Mossberg cruiser. As long as you hold it properly it's easy to shoot. I was trained to hold it on my hip and can fire off 5 rounds quickly. Doesn't jam even when short racked. Must practise to be proficient. It would be my first weapon of choice in a home invasion. One rack and most would run off.
Miffed;-)
I'll start with my sharp knife, and finish off with my XD40. Anything further away and I can get away. I have no intentions of fighting in a protracted firefight with anyone. I would recommend the same to the rest of you as well. As a former Infantryman, I can say with great confidence that people should not expect resupply and should be avoiding violent confrontation as much as possible. If you do end up having to fight though, make sure it's on your terms and not someone else's. Hence the sharp knife and XD. You can always scrounge what is left when you are done for materials that may be useful.
This would be an insurgency style fight, and you have to think like a guerilla combatant to survive it. It's not the Zombies that we might end up fighting. It will be every swinging dick nation that thinks it deserves a piece of the natural resources here that we will be fighting. Infiltration and sabotage will be the name of the game.
+1 for the XD40, my favorite gun. Must grip it firmly however or it may stovepipe. I think thats why many women prefer Glocks.
Miffed;-)
My favorite right after the 1911. A lot can be said about a firearm that was designed and improved upon in the middle of a war zone.
You mean the XD is made in Croatia.
+1 on your suggestions about laying low and not playing Rambo.
Yes sir, she was born and designed there in back in the late 90's. Designed purely to be a military sidearm. She was born out of the experiences of the Balkans when that whole region was up in flames.
NEVER go looking for trouble. Just be ready to handle it. Amen.
Last year Zerohedge had a great article on best martial arts in a TSHTF scenario. Thanks to whoever wrote it, and to all the comments. It inspired me to get into Hapkido. Between the joint locks, throws, kicks, strikes, ground fighting and grab/punch/knife/kick defenses, you can't go wrong!
And yes, the knives and bang-bang sticks help too.
Good style. I love Krav Maga, which is my major line of defense.
A good knife is worth it's weight in gold. Stun gun is also handy along with a good tactical flashlight. You want to avoid an uneven fight if possible but if you do those 2 will buy you some precious time if you are unsure about fight or flight.
If I could only have one weapon, it would be a CQB rifle. If I could only have one weapon for use inside my home, it would be a 12g riot shotgun. Fortunately, I can have more than one weapon.
I'm late to the party on the gun discussion, but I will chime in:
I fell in love with the Saiga S12. If you're not familiar with them, they're basically an AK47 chambered in 12ga...you can get a Class III AOW stamp for them, and get a nice short barrel for it, making it ideal for concealment/confined spaces. I've found that mine likes 3in. .00 shells best, but it functions well with most manufacturer's shells.
Cool...
I'm stockpiling Meow Mix.
The gravy you get when you add water to Meow Mix is just what the FSA wants.
Plus, you can smell them coming a mile away. Kinda like Hitlary's minge.
Don't forget the Quikclot!
http://www.practicaltrauma.com/cgsw.shtml
It's a yuppie/mic luxury.
#1 avoid getting shot in the first place
#2 cayenne pepper is cheaper and similarly effective for clotting (with a gaping chest cavity you're dead without access to full blown trauma center regardless), it's more readily available, and (dual)useful for spicing up the crap that passes for survival (or Swiss) food.
#3 yes it hurts, more than getting shot actually - see #1 above
That shit (quikclot) turns to stone in a wound, and requires major surgery to remove it.. People would be well advised to learn some field medicine.
Whatever you use - the dressing needs to be changed- DAILY. I once didn't have an opportunity to change a dressing for over 72 hrs- having the fresh tissue growth separated from the rank field dressing was a rather unpleasant experience. Bandages are cheap (maxi pads & duct tape work just as well) - stock up.
Use shreaded gore-tex. You probably can find some in your closet. Pack it up and cover.
Hot iron in the fire boys...that'll staunch the bleeding till you can have it looked at...
Not sure about the cayenne pepper thing, but the Quikclot is more for femoral artery type wounds; if you've got a sucking chest wound (I think you meant that instead of "gaping chest wound"), you're toast most likely, cayenne pepper or Quikclot or not.
Quickclot can not be used on arterial bleeding. We carried that crap in Afghanistan.
They must have changed regs (since I don't doubt what you're saying).
They used to claim it could be used ESPECIALLY where arterial bleed out was imminent.
Maybe you meant that it can't be used directly in certain points along the artery, due to potential blow out of an artery itself (since it necessarily increases blood pressure).
IDK.
I think you are correct about the blow out reasoning. Military regs are lowest common denominator.
I carry a tourniquet everywhere I go and have kept my EMT up to date for the very reason that it's a skill that will never lose value. None of the EMT courses I have ever been through talk about quickclot, and I think it's because of the cost, the powdered form is not cheap, and that is most likely form used in civilian life. In the Army we carried the patches and the Medics had both in quantity.
I don't think it's the cost, esp. if the crew is outfitted with such high-dollar luxuries as a bovine litter and AED, but why would an EMT crew need quick clot unless they're running one or two-man crews and have obscenely time-consuming routes to even the nearest level 3?
I have no idea, but the EMT's here in Chandler, AZ do not carry it. I can not in good conscious answer your inquiry as to why though.
TGhe BS military contractors have always been scumbags. GD Lester Crown backs both Obama and McCain. General Dynamics is a major employer in AZ.
Not as big as Boeing and Intel here.
Celox is supposed to be better than Quickclot.
"CELOX (pronounced Cell Locks) is a revolutionary new hemostat. It works independently of normal blood clotting factors. CELOX is a blend of ingredients which includes Chitosan.
Simple and safe to use. CELOX granules quickly controls severe arterial bleeding. Just pour it in, pack it, and apply pressure. No additional specific training is required.
CELOX is Not Exothermic; will not burn the victim or caregiver. It is FDA approved and non-toxic. Other great benefits: CELOX works in hypothermic conditions and clots Heparinized blood (i.e. blood containing anti-coagulants such as many painkillers). CELOX is safe to use for the entire body including head, neck and chest wounds."
If my memory serves me correctly that is the ones that was designed around the crustacean shells that are evolved to prevent loss of fluids when cracked. I can't imagine that it is cheap or easy to manufacture. It likely takes a significant amount of infrastructure for that one.
I would have to use the internet and read on it more before I would be able to say for sure whether I would carry it or not.
the ancient egyptians used yarrow leaves. beautiful garden plant too. mine's still blooming in october.
Plastic wrap is what is needed for a sucking chest wound. Won't do you any good if you don't get treatment quickly.
Vasaline soaked gauze and adhesive tape.
Watch for signs of asymetrical motion of the chest, altered mentation, tachycardia, hypotension, indicating trapped air and a progressing pneumothorax.
If this occurs peel the dressing away and "burp" the wound to release the trapped air. If this is unsuccessful have the patient cough or exhale sharply.
If this occurs and they are unconscious, and unable to free the trapped air, depending on the location you can use a hollow needle ( preferably 12-14g ) and introduce it into the chest cavity at a 90 degree angle at either the 2-3rd intercostal space mid-clavicular line or 4-5th mid-axilliary line. Allow the burst of air to escape and then reseal the wound. Assuming that you can't simply open the wound back up manually with a gloved finger to allow the air to escape.
If you get a rush of blood it's more than likely a hemothorax and a scalpul / sutures / clamp is needed.
Blood or not, a chest tube to reinflate the lung is necessary after stitching. If you aren't near a hospital you'll have to sacrifice the lung. Hopefully the other lung will be sufficient.
I've decompressed perhaps 40 or so tension pneumothoracies and usually its relatively anti-climactic if addressed early.
In the case of a sucking chest wound, optimally you would get them as quickly as possible to a location where surgical intervention is possible. If it isn't possible, cut in as delicately as possible, use plenty of sponges to locate the perforations, stitch them as well as you can, and pray that a single lung is enough to sustain them. Make sure you remove any foreign objects that you can find / follow the direction of the damage and search for additional perforations or injury that might have been sustained during the initial insult / do as little additional damage as possible while you search.
Be as sterile as you can. If you don't have a chest tube and vac, which you more than likely won't ( and you aren't MacGuyver with an empty 2 liter / garden hose / method of creating artificial air pressure ), and don't have an extremely strong antibiotic, recognize that they are more than likely going to expire.
Sorry for the long winded post. I figured there might be a few survivalist types that would find something worthwhile in an explanation of how to approach such an injury.
Wow, I'm impressed. I've seen a few of these treated in the trauma room but never in the field. Most survived but they sometimes had nasty post op infections. I would imagine the infection rate for field treated alone would staggering and probably lethal for most. I guess a corpsman would have first hand knowledge of this.
Miffed;-)
Thx Miffed.
Post-op infection from a field procedure such as this is almost a certainty, and in a high percentage, lethal. If you haven't already set aside a couple of complete wide spectrum antibiotic series for a rainy day, then you need to consider doing so. Make sure they will address both viral and bacterial infections.
Obviously bandage changes, IV access with fluid replacement ( Lactated Ringers or Normal Saline is okay .... an expanding solution such as Hetastarch would be ideal but expensive and perhaps difficult for those not in healthcare to obtain ), minimal movement of the injured, and if necessary installation of a nasogastric tube and utilization of a syringe / Ensure to keep them nourished during rehabilitation.
The hope is that you will, at some point, make it to a facility that can continue where you left off, and facilitate the actual recovery.
These are only temporary / short-term measures, but you might be surprised how long the injured party will endure if you perform them properly and have a bit of luck.
If you are careful, this will give you a day to a day and a half before a massive infection sets in and things get dicey ( assuming that you do not have antibiotics ).
It's actually great fun ( clinically speaking ) treating this kind of thing when it goes well. The trick is not to be a pussy about it when you do it. Recognize that it needs to be done, you're the only one to do it, and you may not be the best person for the job but the choice is either try or they expire.
Suck it up, stuff that fear shit down deep where it won't get in the way, and get busy.
you forgot booze and bullion.
HH, this is the second thread where your comment brings my IE to a halt. Is it all the links?
It is your shitty Microsoft IE browser.
Fuck you, "Compatibility Mode!"
Is the ammo or weapon cheaper on 20 gauge or 410? I need a shotgun soon because we are getting close. Guns sacre me.
Does a circular saw or screwdriver scare you too? They do me, when in the hands of someone who doesnt know what they're doing. If you dont want to learn how to use a tool properly, better to buy a good pair of track shoes instead. With knowledge, fear recedes.
Dude. I was kidding. Guns are fine just respect them a lot.
410 is most expensve... 12ga is about the cheapest since it's so plentiful.
Also, lots of folks use 00 buckshot but, there are only 9 pellets in most 12ga shells.... pick #4 buckshot.... If somebody is shot with #4 buckshot, the dr. will have to plug 24 bleeding holes instead of 9.
Thanks. I would love one of those Kel Tecs. Anyone know if their 30-round .22 LR pistol is still backordered to eternity? ;-)
Dealer 2 miles away had one but refused to give a price. I question the effectiveness of the 22 mag out of a hg.
Getting close to what, squirrel hunting season? Freddie, you want 12 ga.
I'd still take a good semi-auto 12ga over ANY pump. If you need the shotgun, you may short stroke a pump in a bad spot and, you're not going to be as fast with one and be accurate too.... with a semi-auto you can simply point in the general direction and pull the trigger over and over until whatever WAS threatening you is dead and on the floor.
But, since I have more than a small lot in the city somewhere, I need a rifle. ( I still have a Browning A5 I've modified into a trench gun ) I like an M4 out to about 300yds then after that, I like the M1A out to 6-800yds then bolt guns out further.
It's hard to beat 12ga to defend the front yard and house though.
BTW: this is all mental mastubation for me... I'm out in the country. I doubt there will be riots at my house but, I'll be ready for the thieves trying to steal what's mine. ( which I do anyway )
In our house we have e 3-step FEAR (Family Emergency Action & Recovery) Plan:
1. Have Life & Comfort-preserving stuff for one month. Should things take longer to return to normalcy, go to #2
2. Pack vehicles, leave rental unit. Drive on full tank to Canada. Use US or non-US passports to get in.
3. Set up family life in new home, far away from SNAPped Zombies and trigger-happy Gringos
Good luck in terrorizing us in the Great White North. Eh.
Man I hope you are close enough to Canada and they let you in.
BC welcomes all ZHers.
HH, take tuna off the list. Can't take chances with nuclear contamination. After fukuppy, the only seafood my family consumes is what I catch.
You should really try some Gulf shrimp laced with Corexit. Dems tasty!
Neither this story nor Fukushima are to be found on MSM. Rude awakenings await.
I guess Obama has decided to play hard ball and unleash the zombie "free shiite" army.
Sort of. Obama and the NeoCons are going to unleash them and blame armageddon on the Tea Party. We've heard both sides of the aisle discussing "a small faction of radicals hijacking proper bipartisan legislation in an attempt to create anarchy".
There shall be no more limited-government groups in the USSA.
Please observe a moment of silence for our Constitutional Republic.
"OUR", I think I discovered the problem, this idea that something belongs to everyone just because of circumstances of birth... It should only be yours if you work for it, and it should never be another man's unless he works for it in a voluntary manner alongside you.
Yeah..... You know we're in our death throws when the group that is advocating fiscal restraint and living within our means are labeled as "terrorists" and, "spousal abusers"... or have "bombs strapped to their chests".
They're so crazy, they clean up after themselves at events and are actually polite and GASP.... pray.
It's life as usual...... whatever those idiots in D.C are doing.... that is EXACTLY what they're accusing others of doing.
Fiscal restraint and living within our means at this point in the game is... kind of like, wait for it.
"...someone who stops smoking on their deathbed."
The game's over dude. You know, I know it. It's about surviving the violence and making sure the same ponzi scheme isn't set up again after the dust settles. I can guarantee you international financiers will be lining up to help "rebuild" New America on a new currency.
And you know what?
All of you suckers are going to buy it, too. Humanity is a joke; the ubiquity of idiocy cannot be overcome until a genuine love for information and learning and logic is instilled into a population.
Barrys way of blaming this on repubs and scarring tea party into retreat. ...this is more effective than a market crash.
Except tea party could give a shit about those who have been on the free shit ride for 8 years....times up
Free shit needs to stop or we are gonna be Greece
We already ARE Greece!
But thanks to Obama's sycophant media...
And max injections of printed-out-of-thin-air $$ by Bernanke...
Most folks have no clue!
Reggie and O love Greece or Grease the film.
Could someone translate this memo into ebonics for those incapable of understanding English?

If true, this would be "the EVENT".
No bread, just circuses.
The event will be a process.
Yes, now we'll see what real anarchy is like when life-support for the Free Shit Army is pinched!
All part fo the Master Plan to transform America...
And the sheeple are behaving as herded...
We just got a glimpse of it this past weekend, this would be the real deal.
Blacks burning down cities now and again keeps white America on notice that the needs of "the community" had better be met. The legend of MLK and the nonviolent civil rights revolution is bullshit.
TPTB always let the blacks shit in their own nest. It's when the wander out of the hood that the National Guard is called in.
Double-benefit: FSA is thinned out and "right-wingers" are marginalized, if not eliminated.
The riots of the 1960s usually led to increased white flight and a de facto political takeover of the cities by the blacks. That they didn't know what to do with the political power is beside the point; violence and intimidation succeeded in changing the political power structure of those cities.
The cities can burn but they are used to steal elections. It happened in 2008 and 2012.
this prez is waiting for them to go 'outside' the hood - then, when armed-America protects their own stuff - the NG will be called upon to 'put down' the armed-Americans. See the logic in the socialist mind? Me neither....but I'd bet on this if SNAP was cancelled.
First thing, take out the commuter trains. Open pipelines from the inner cities.
If whites would do the same, maybe government would pay attention to them too.
When whites are a minority, they will look to the new majority and expect fair treatment. They are in for a sad awakening.
Chaos =/= Anarchy. Real Anarchy would be infinitely better than this shit storm of a mess.
BURNING IT DOWN IS CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN.
OBAMA wants us to continue to pay for the moochers - NO DEAL.
O has done a wonderful job destroying the fabric of this country in ways I never thought possible. Divided we are. He will eventially get into the Torah and his 77 virgins.
Anyone who says he's done any good for citizen needs to have their head examined. He has done nothing, and is an embarrassment to the black population for certain.
"Exactly what Obama wants!" To wit: "Never let a crisis go to waste." - Rahm Emmanuel
SOMEBODY wants the violence.
I think the Tea Party was built exactly to create this end -- instead of "taxation without representation" from the first one, this is "representation without taxation".
I am of no mystery that someone wants the mass violence. I'm just not 100% sure it's Obama, because I'm not sure he survives very long (bullets coming from right OR left) if chaos reigns.
this is just gov't speak for removing the SNAP caps, just like they did with the last debt ceiling debate.
Well, this is the boogey-man under the bed that they've created. Lock & load.
Walmart etc. would go broke? Why?
People aren't going to stop eating. All it will mean is that charities can help the real destitute as per forever throughout history. The rest will have to free up food money from their drug and entertainment budgets.
Walmart's business model is heavily dependent on government subsidies -- not just their customers, their employees, too. Without EBT I wouldn't count on them begin profitable, people can go elsewhere for food and Walmart employees will need time to get food from those helpful charities, since they're just as poor as their customers if not more so.
I don't know, seek. The fear of getting carjacked, mugged, or what have you at Wally World keeps me away. If the FSA were no longer shopping there you might see more actual working people becoming patrons.
If they would just get some fucking ammo...
There's a reason they never have ammo in the popular calibers anymore. Who do you think they will be pissing off when they stop this train wreck? I may be younger than most of you, but I certainly was not raised to be blind to the simple fact that there are no such things as coincidences.
They get ammo in all the time, it just doesn't last. The main reason for this is they never jacked prices like everybody else. Get to know the guys at the gun/ammo counter, they'll confirm this. Now that prices for .223 have started to come down (somewhat), I see a lot of it at Walmart. 22lr is still hard as fuck to find on their shelves (followed closely by 9mm), but I've been able to get some about every 1-in-10 visits to the store...boxes of 50 only of course...can't tell you the last time I saw a brick at Wally World. Anyway, when you see it, buy it, otherwise it will be gone.
My local WM is the same and never has any ammo. So last weekend I fly up to London Ontario for work and I visit the local WM across the street from my hotel and I hit the sporting goods section and it's like WTF, the glass case fully stocked. Heck I even took a pictures to show my buddies. They had 13 bricks of 22LR and the shit was $22.00 CAD. Go figure. . . .
If I was a conspiracy theorist I would say this is what Obama wants to be able to use a national state of emergency to grab power. Think about it. He knows that cutting off 50 million people from foodstamps is definately cause mass rioting nationwide. He knows that keeping the government shutdown and debt limit from being increased he has the right catalyst needed to declare a national state of emergency and declare martial law.
He is recalling his black Panther buds as we speak.....make it as painful as possible...unquote
spot on +1 EndtheFed. If anything, this is a "what if" trial balloon. The fat finger on algo trade at 2am.
TIS...
Agreed
Snap, interest on national debt, and the MIC will always be funded.
***why doesn't this page load completely for me?
Get ready for the stream of news stories about how this is effecting the poor! All background will be blurred out because they (Obama & Co.) don't want you to see all those new BMW's being driven to the food stamp office by the poor and downtrodden bankers!
Bring it.
I've spent the last four years buying Rifles, Shotguns, semi auto pistols and 5000+ rounds for each. We currently have solar, a well with a 10k cistern. We have food storage for 6 months, a full diesel tank and a generator. All my neighbors are like minded and most are military trained. My work associates have laughed at me long enough and I certainly won't protect them if this descends into chaos. I guess when they dial 911 they'll finally get it. Reality is quite a bitch.
Miffed;-)
OT miffed, not sure if you caught this. sorry for late reply.
no-one so bitchy like mama earth. ;~)
