The republican leadership (read Boehner) never understood who or what gave them the house majority in the first place and that was the distaste of the status quo by americans, so what does the republican leadership do (read Boehner) try to assemble a open revolt agaist the very people that gave them the majority. They are a dead party walking, they could have run roughshod over the Dems but instead they sacraficed their entire party in order to maintain their grip on mediocre, the party that cheers victory when there is a tie.
