Please join our ranks, in our district we have already started the work against VERN BUCHANAN as soon as he called his vote as an Yes.

I have to chuckle, everyone is mad because

 - The debt is too big, or

 - The debt is too small because they are part of the Free Shit Army

 - My elected reprehensive didn't do any thing fiscally responsible.

None of it matters.

Go read 'The Secret Freedom Fighter' - it's principles take you out of the left/right false paradigm completely. When used in mass it destroys corrupt governments, corrupt politicians and makes national debts irrelevant.  It's online for free in PDF format if you google 'The Secret Freedom Fighter PDF'

Let me ask you this?

If the Federal Reserve SECRETLY lean't out $16 Trillion, and the US government also borrowed into circulation $17 Trillion, do you really feel any responsibility to pay *any* of it back?

Your real only objective should be to extracate yourself from the indebted slavery of committing to pay for any of it.  If the Free Shit Army can grab a bit of stuff on the way to collapse you should be applauding them.

When people en masse start utilizing the principles found in the book the government goes APE SHIT, because you make their false left / right paradigm irrelevant to you.  You make THEM expend endless resources possibly determining if you were law abiding or not.

I would also add that the principles of MGTOW are very similar, and very empowering.

Governments HATE IT - when people stop playing the consumer slave, and simply dis-engage from their system completely.

http://www.mgtow.com/

It was interesting to note they utilized the same model as The Secret Freedom Fighter.  No organized group to infiltrate and grab control of, and when people do that they destroy the ability of the control grabbing elite to institute fake left/right paradigms to drag people into false hope with (like the Republican / Democratic party.)

Spine001.  Let it go, the circus and deck is rigged, it makes no difference if you vote.  Ironically, by participating you are supporting the 'man' and the system.

Prepare, as best you can, for the inevitable and just go with it when the time comes.  If not already, read Murray Rothbard's "Anatomy of the State", they are the problem and as soon as you reach that moment of clarity it all makes sense.

We'll see a viable third party? More likely we'll see the R's and D's come together to restrict ballot access as they've done any number of times in the past. If there's one thing the "two" parties always agree on, it's that there shouldn't be a third party messing with their monopoly on power.

The game is rigged, and while there's growing evidence that people want a third party option, it's now all but certain that the only way things will change is with a bit of well-directed violence and mayhem.

The circle jerk continues.  Yep, there was a brief moment of optimism by many here, myself included, that these buffoons would sleep walk into an actual default. Of course not by design but through sheer incompetence.

Nope, we continue on the path to destruction and the eventual day of reckoning is rising, by the hour, on a logarithmic scale until the charade stops as the math finally catches up with reality.

I, for one, cannot wait until the 30 trillion debt mark is reached and we still go through this laughable circus for the umpteenth time. A tune... not that the fuck it matters. "wAKe uP" by Rage Against the Machine... with lyrics.

The split is between the establishment Repubs and their new base. The Dems are all unified in wanting the current big gov. meme.  A 3rd party would mostly take away from the Repub base.  It's easier to vote out the RINOs out and replace them with people vested by the now organized grassroots.  This is why the liberty movements are getting such a backlash from the MSM and establishment.  If the base didn't win the 2010 elections for the Repubs, we wouldn't even be having a discussion about our debt crisis.

How much media coverage of any other party candidate did we see in 2012, other than Republican or Democrat?  For that matter, how much coverage did we see of even R or D candidates that weren't toeing the party line?  How much coverage did Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich get, other than to portray them as outlying kooks?  This is a system that both the R and D parties will fight to maintain.  Actually, it's the only real, unscripted thing they'll fight for at all!

Large voting blocks have always had an influence on US politics.  Progressives on both sides of the isle have spent decades creating a FSA voting block by making people dependent on the gov.

The establishment Repubs, the Dems and MSM are all against the liberty movements and tea party because they threaten the status quo of politics, when they vote as a group they change the game.  Thats why they are labeled anarchists and much worse for simply wanting a constitutional gov.

Harbanger, I respect your optimism that you still believe that the system can be cured from within.  Perhaps through further awareness and intellectual debate, economic suffering to such an extent that folks enquire on whois actually to blame and the reach a moment of clarity?  Finally the 'vote' these septic cunts out of office.

But it's just not going to happen - Rothbard was right.  Even Mises was wrong that the reality of facts would prove that the Austrian school was right or even that the school would perhaps gain back the mantel that they had earlier in the last century.

However, they have not even got back into the mainstream debate.  Ron Paul got the closest to getting this back in the public sphere of debate but it was just a whimper.  He was destroyed by his own MOAR WAR machine.  We, most of thr ZH community, are the fringe, the nutcases, the terrorist, the evil doers that mean only harm and adhere to 'conspiracies'.

Even Snowden's revelations should have brought that lying bastard Obama into the spot light.  At leasts to the level of derision that 'W' rightly got for his crimes.  But oh no even the comedians cannot bring themselves the mock him.  That would be RACIST. It is completely insane.

It will only change via collapse and reset.  Then we will see what emerges.

>> win the 2010 elections for the Repubs,

Funny to think the vote of one stinkin' inner city FSA negro cancels out the vote of a towering patriot such as yourself.  They breed like cockroaches and you probably can't even get it up.  Given the choice of the FSA army's utopia, a patriot's, such as yourself, utopia, or anarchy with some viable system rebuilt from the ashes afterwards, I'll take the anarchy approach.

You have a lifetime of instilled anger and hatred to deal with.  Until the people of this country really suffer again, and yearn for a better life for all, we'll not have the character to rebuild a worthwhile government and society.  Your hatred and animosity is no better than the hatred and animosity of the other side.  Hatred is nothing to build a society on. Iraq is a fine example of that.

wee-weed -  A third party would be less than useless.   The suggestions are a Ron Paul type that would attract about 8% (i love Ron by the way), "back to god" folks (25%) or "moderates" who advocate raising taxes and "fixing" skyrocketing social programs (although they are usually vague about the latter).  What's amazing is that although 42% of Americans identify as conservative, liberals (21%) control the voting.

What this has done is ensure permanent low interest rates.   With the debt soon approaching $20T it is increasingly impossible to raise rates.

there is nor ever was a debt ceiling.
there is only the night sky, the stars,
the day and the sun, accelerating.

but it gives the people and the government
something to play with while their country
is ransacked in broad daylight.

It looks like it's all boiling down to this simple question. Who here, and across America, is prepared and willing to give their life to put an end, once and for all, to this infectous, toxic, morbid, political disease running rampant in DC?

Personally, I've never pictured myself as the martyring type, but who knows, maybe someday, very soon, I won't have a choice in the matter.

Yeah, its remarkable how easy it is to govern when you get $1.50 from the Federal government for every $1 that is sent to Washington... Throw in ~500,000 bbls a day of oil production or about 0.7 barrels per person and a fucking chimp could run the show...

She is a fuckin dingbat who is only interested in Sarah... That is why she is despised by both sides...

People should identify their representatives at www.house.gov/representatives/find and then check how they voted here clerk.house.gov/evs/2013/roll550.xml   and if they are enablers of this charade that our government has become, they should contact their opposition and get all 87 traitors unseated. In my district work has already started against Buchanan.

The deal was made to the republicans who were in danger of losing their seats. If enough voted for it, the rest would be allowed to retain their seats at the trough (so they think). The democrats seats in both houses already were already guaranteed by the FSA and high density gerrymandering. Add upwards of 40 million+ illegals being legalized will add the base the democrats need to propel ObamaCare to fundability and guarantee no future opposition in congress. It's actually quite brilliant from a statist point of view as in the end the republicans are doomed by their own shortsightedness.

This was performed by the Washington D.C. globalists to allow the CIA and military industrial complex to run some analyses on the EBT disruption, the veteran problem, and set precedence for capital controls. Basically the politicians were paid to go by the script according to the bankers and military industrial complex.

In other words it was a military operation against the United States of America by D.C. globalist traitors.

Can someone explain the purpose of the debt ceiling? And shouldn't it be referred to as the debt abyss?

Thu, 10/17/2013 - 10:52 | 4064962 withglee

Congress used to have to approve every debt instrument. They put in the debt ceiling to cut down on their work. With it, they just had to move it every once in a while. Fewer actions mean fewer political risks. They have great self interest. As has been obvious from the beginning, there is no limit on government debt. It will continue to grow exponentially ... then we have collapse as the parasite kills its host ... then we move to official dictatorship rather than the fake republic we have now. We will never know who the "they" is that is pulling these strings.

Dems will ALWAYS vote as a bloc.

They do as they're told.  Now I'm generally outside the two-party dynamic, as both serve the interests of the "business party", but I think there are some distinctions.

It only takes 16 Republicans crossing over to sabotage the rest of the Republican house.  One has to wonder if 16 or more would've crossed over even without Boner's blessing on a "yes" vote (siding with the dems).

The fact that 144 went against this shill of a leader should tell you something.
