We have heard all day long what a dismal wreck the Republican Party is about to become, or has, courtesy of the "Wheel of Misfortune" among others. 4. Consequences of such actions all over popular media / Youtube / Facebook / Twitter. "The People" demand "a solution".
5. Politicians of all "sides" (but in reality all under the same "management") decry the "hoarders" and rush through legislation / Martial Law to "combat" this "problem".
6. Preppers find themselves battling the very well-armed US Militias (Police), Nat. Guard, Military, who have been tasked to ensure "fairness" of asset distribution "in the present times of crisis".
7. The political threat presented by those who are independently - minded is thus eliminated - with the full backing of the majority of the US Population (and all branches of the Government) - "It was only fair don't you know!"
8. "Mission Accomplished" - independence crushed, everyone has been very clearly told that there is only the one playbook, and "dissent" in any form will not be tolerated.

"They" have some very effective air capability (manned and unmanned - down to Policing level). Air superiority has very big tactical and strategic (intelligence) advantages, as the USAF is fully aware!

They also have the very best / latest in night vision capability, and they certainly have the manpower to fight a prplonged engagement, especially if "supported by the majority of the population" - which the Politicians will have ensured will be the case.
There are soft targets galore. What happens to the local constabulary when the food supply chain fails. Where will the re-supply come from? Cool radios and shit at work will not feed the family.
