Carl iCahn Tweets "New Letter" Sent To Apple's Tim Cook
Given the carnage that ensued in NFLX yesterday, we suspect the following tweet:
Just sent a letter to Tim Cook. Full letter will be disclosed on my website, the Shareholders’ Square Table, which will be launched tomorrow

which he notes will be released to the public tomorrow is more a threat of him "selling" his shares if he doesn't get what he wants... and given the market liquidity, who knows what AAPL's stock does?

Icahn must be a private shareholder in Twitter (probably has hundreds of fake accounts). Once the Twitter IPO is done, he will tweet how amazing the company's growtyh potential is based on ad revenues and as a predictive tool for everything to consumer likes, to a movie's revenue potential, to stawk picking.
About 2 to 4 weeks after IPO he will announce that he has sold (taken profits) 30% of his holdings (covering the remaining 70% with puts) just like he has done with NFLX.
These guys are sooo transparent in their modus operandi.
I'm also a shareholder and being in a totally different field of business from Mr. Icahn, I think I'll have someone retire him if he continues to disturb my investment. This "old fart" has been around far too long and we from South America deal with things in a different way. He will be please to know how our micro wave system works!

While not commenting on the necessity of what Apple produces, Apple produces tangible products that have a cultish fanboy following. WTF does Icahn produce, and why should Apple not tell him to fuck off? I'm not exactly what you'd call a fan of Apple, but if I had customers who would buy my iCrap even if it meant not putting food on the table or paying rent, I think I'd be tempted to mail him a box of sand that contained a genuine certificate of unpoundedness, and an accompanying letter that says "Dear Carl, we actually make stuff, even if it is produced in China. We'll get over you."

Seriously, this guy is making me sick. This activist investor/corporate raider goes into companies, bullies them into giving him their cash, then dumps them. This doesn't make companies more competitive at all. This guy is a pig and all these people that are making trades based on his tweets are just tools for his use to make more money.
Frankly I love that Sony pretty much told Dan Loeb to screw off and now I hope Tim Cook tells I-Con to screw off. I-Con will sell his shares then tell all the people via twitter that he is out. The stock will fall back down and the only money he will have made is via people bidding the stock up based on his decision to buy. This is just a pump and dump scheme with the only objective being the transfer of money from the sheeple to I-Con.
It is worse that he wants companies like Apple to borrow money simply to hand it over to him. This world is seriously screwed up.
