2014 and 2016 will be the best opportunity for a serious 3rd party contender because even though the Reps cleverly voted for this fiasco but then fought it vehemently ever since (that contradictory behavior as a political move makes sense now, doesn't it; vote for what you knew or strongly suspected would be a catastrophe, then fight it and be able to say "See, we told you so!" at the next election), they still voted for it and are just as responsible for it as the Dems.

As far as I can tell the Libertarians offer no alternatives, they continually advocate mass immigration (with no change in the welfare state) and generally make fun of Christians, the purpose of the Litertarian party at this point is to offer no alternatives to the Demoblicans and be totally irrelevant-and they're a wild success at it too.
