The Health Insurance plan itself was written by the Insurance Industry Lobby. Quite frankly, no word got into the law that was no either written or approved by the major Health Insurance Executive Boards. This plan is only about picking out a private health insurance plan, health care is delivered by private doctors and hospital/health groups. The companies who list on exchanges are competing for that part of the public who must go to state exchanges to get insurance, as they are uninsured now. States used their freedom to either establish a functional exchange with website or to just junk it all and make no effort to provide the exchange that works.
Employers are free to keep the coverage they have for their employees or to drop insurance and let the employees seek private insurance on the exchanges. Quirks in the law seem to make to pay for employeers to have fewer full time workers. But that is true on all counts.
The poor are allowed a government subsidy for insurance, means tested.
To be honest, this law is a big to do about nothing at all. It was a carbon copy of Romey's state plan put into effect long ago. I expect that minus the partisan political points, this Obama Care is just going to be one more part of the most expensive and least effective health and sick care system in the civilized world. There is little socialism here in Obama care, it is a good deal fascist though, as government is out and private insurance companies are in. After all, they wrote the law, and do you hear one complaint from the vast rich Health Insurance Industry? Not me, I look, but I can't find them bitching. We all know why, forcing people to participate in the private insurance pool makes them just more suckers paying in and getting out much less that they pay. This is a fundamental LAW of Health Insurance. You pay more than you get back, and the stock holders and executives feast on some of the highest dividends, stock prices and pay and bonuses in the corporate world.
Really, Obama care is a big fat nothing, in the scheme of AMerican decline and fiscal collapse, the US overall health delivery and insurance systems are sick and evil. They are feeding economic collapse. Other nations's corporations do not have health insurance as par tof their cost of doing business. We stand almost alone as forcing free enterprise to pay for the people's health insurance. It is a failed model. Obama care doubles down in the failed model, only making it worse.
Overall, Obama care is a meaningless exercise in political point scoring. More of the fake Republican versus Democat joke that America's fake democracy feeds on. The elites wrote Obama Care and it will increase their equity share price holdings in the Major Health Insurance Companies. I ask you, where are the complaints from the elites and their wholly owned Health Insurance Industry? Nowhere to be found, they are feasting as usual.

This judge, U.S. District Judge Ellen Hollander, should be fired. Any one of the allegations against this transsexual ex-IRS agent – particularly his/her negative performance reviews – is grounds for dismissal.
If the courts no longer abide by the law, then the people need no longer abide by the courts’ rulings.
When the courts become politicized and disengage constitutional law to engage political law, when the courts first decide the opinion they want and then look around in the law books for some thin thread to tie it to -- as did Justice John Roberts and the Supreme Court on its ObamaCare decision – then their opinions become nonsense.
When these courts have the last word, and they are nothing more than the paid servants of the lobbyists and/or fanatical ideologues, then we the people must clean out these in-justices and their “opinions.”

The line that creeps me out is after he says "We fly with our own wings", he then says "care about the same things."
That's right, the collective identity only wants those who care about what is accepted by the collective, mass identity and all that. Because we're not like those other people, who don't care about the same things we do, they are outside the collective, and probably should be put in a camp somewhere, for their own safety of course, and given pills, because if they don't like the collective then it must be because they are mentally ill.
Otherwise, they would certainly accept all our ideas, and also care about the same things.
Remember when America had state hospitals for the mentally ill and treated them with dignity -- with hospital beds and nurses and social workers and psychiatrists and psychologists -- and the worst was to be laced to the bed in a simple straitjacket by orderlies when the patient became too violent or unruly?
