Well whatever you do, make sure you keep some cash on the sidelines for the Twitter IPO. This is clean hip social networking IPO is going to rock the financial world just like Facebook did, and the scamble to be part of history and own one of the world's most important companies is going to be epic.

Well Facebook definately looks attractive at these prices, but if you want my honest opinion, I think you should save everything for the Twitter IPO. If you want to get the very best prices, you need to buy at the IPO. Now, does that mean prices will go up straight away? Of course not. But do you seriously want to risk missing out on one of the greatest investment oportunities of a lifetime?

For once, I almost agree with one of your trolls.  Facebook does have some potential for international revenue growth; Twitter, no.  In South America, Facebook continues to grow rapidly in use and popularity, as does skype (because phone rates for home phones and cell phones are so high here).  The South Americans are all aware of Facebook´s connections with the CIA and NSA; they always assume the government of those damn yankees is up to no good, so it is nothing new here.  E-commerce is also the fastest growing industry in South America.  No one cares about Twitter here, and it really has no potential for growth.  A much better investment than Facebook, however, is a UPS style transport company covering the Mercosur.  Now this would be a growth company... but someone needs to get it started.  I would be happy to help anyone with some capital interested in the project.

It's because most really IT knowledgeable security people have known that unless you own the BB server and it's physically secured within your premises, it's not more secure than even the iPhone. That's been tested over and over again by false flag and honey pot operations done on behalf of others. Sometimes Homeland Security gets the message and reacts to it even before the intended receipient of the message gets it.

Mon, 11/04/2013 - 10:51 | 4119233 CrazyCooter
CrazyCooter's picture

Interesting, those are basically the blogs I read as well (in order). I do some energy stuff too.

I think Karl was still playing the market based on fundamentals, which is why he did that post not long ago where he simply shifted focus to a more policitcal commentary. He is out and thus not following it like someone with open trades.

As I understand it, BB has some really good things going for it and may have some real capital that may matter a lot in the future. They are supposed to be the first device certified by the US Gov for security. Huge portfolio of patents. They have problems, sure, but don't forget that in these broke markets, that means the price has to be manipulated down, sheeple slaughtered, and then insiders load up.

But I don't trade, so maybe I am an idiot ... I do think my next phone is going to be a BB though. I am waiting for a personal financial disaster to finally hit the fan and I will start shopping when I see how big the splatter is ...

Karl knows the market is totally muppet gonzo fest, but I think he finally realized that applies to everyone who isn't an insider.

Next stop, Karl buys gold!

Regards,

Cooter

DarthVaderMentor's picture

The reason BB was certified by the spooks in the US Government is because the NSA through CES (the Canadian equivalent to the NSA and Britain's GCHQ) efforts probably has intercepted all of the traffic at the server level. Anyone that has any knowledge of the spook business knows that any NSA and US Government certified device is thoroughly penetrated and compromised by the NSA as part of the so-called "government certification" process. There is a formal agreement between Canada, the US NSA and the UK to share all intercepts and Blackberry is the primo intercept feed in Canada for the NSA.

Since he's gotten into politics and decided he wants to be a public figure his investing "advice" record actually makes Cramer's financial advisor record look good. Smart book sense guy, but when it comes to realism, politics and investing his record ain't very good, IMHO.
