Un-Californicated Jobless Claims Reverts To 10-Week Highs

Tyler Durden's picture

Assuming the last few weeks were useless garbage data and based on the fact that the government claims no states "estimated" data this week, the 5th weekly miss in a row for jobless claims (albeit very minor) has the level reverted to mid-August levels. Notably, extended and emergency benefits rose 65,000 to 1.37 million people.

Try these new exciting career opportunities:

- Ball Washer (not golf-related!)

- Money Counter (those fiat bills are filthy with cocaine and bum cooties y'all)

- Regulator (must be familiar with the term 'capture' and use of blind drops)

- Lead Asshat III (must have experience in public relations, bonus if name is Cramer or Maria Fattyblowhore)

- Legal Defense Consultant (identify witnesses and "take care of them", may require travel to Cuba)

- Community Organizer (familiarity with teleprompters encouraged)

What I love about this is the government claims a drop in unemployment claims = job growth when the reality is just the oppsite, the reality is fewer people got laid off!

Good to see nothing has changed.

Gold and silver hammered on the news:

The American economy grew 2.8% at an annualized pace in Q3, accelerating from Q2's 2.5% pace of growth and coming in well ahead of consensus estimates for 2.0%.

I guess it doesn't matter that the enitre 2.8% GDP "growth" would be cancelled out if you subtracted the amount of national debt added at that same time.

What is organic growth?

I ask my paper-pusher friends this all the time.  "Growth" in what?  Financial "products" of mass destruction?

Let me be clear; the "deflationary" part of the currency crisis is almost over...

hedge accordingly...

By the last few weeks I assume you mean the last five years.
