Guest Post: Is It Wrong To Be Anti-Government?
Submitted by Brandon Smith of Alt-Market blog,
It is natural for a society to search for explanations and motivations in the wake of a man-made tragedy. It is also somewhat natural for people to be driven by their personal biases when looking for someone or something to blame. In recent years, however, our country has been carefully conditioned to view almost every criminal event from an ideological perspective.
The mainstream media now places far more emphasis on the political affiliations and philosophies of “madmen” than it does on their personal disorders and psychosis. The media’s goal, or mission, if you will, is to associate every dark deed whether real or engineered to the political enemies of the establishment, and to make the actions of each individual the collective shame of an entire group of people.
I could sift through a long list of terror attacks and mass shootings in which the establishment media jumped to the conclusion that the perpetrators were inspired by the beliefs of Constitutional conservatives, “conspiracy theorists”, patriots, etc. It is clear to anyone paying attention that the system is going out of its way to demonize those who question the officially sanctioned story, or the officially sanctioned world view. The circus surrounding the latest shooting of multiple TSA agents at Los Angeles International Airport is a perfect example.
Paul Ciancia, the primary suspect in the shooting, was immediately tied to the Liberty Movement by media outlets and the Southern Poverty Law Center, by notes (which we still have yet to see proof of) that law enforcement claims to have found on his person. The notes allegedly use terms such as “New World Order” and “fiat money”, commonly covered by those of us in the alternative media. The assertion is, of course, that Paul Ciancia is just the beginning, and that most if not all of us involved in the exposure of the globalist agenda are powder kegs just waiting to “go off.” The label often used by the MSM to profile people like Ciancia and marginalize the organizational efforts of liberty based culture is “anti-government.”
The establishment desires to acclimate Americans to the idea that being anti-government is wrong; that it is a despicable philosophy embracing social deviance, aimless violence, isolation and zealotry. Looking beyond the mainstream position, my question is, is it really such a bad thing to be anti-government today?
Conspiracy Realists
The terms “anti-government” and “conspiracy theorist” are almost always used in the same paragraph when mainstream media pundits espouse their propaganda. They are nothing more than ad hominem labels designed to play on the presumptions of the general population, manipulating them into dismissing any and all alternative viewpoints before they are ever heard or explained. The establishment and the media are ill-equipped to debate us on fair terms, and understand that they will lose control if Americans are allowed to hear what we have to say in a balanced forum. Therefore, their only fallback is to bury the public in lies so thick they won’t want to listen to us at all.
The Liberty Movement now has the upper hand in the war for information. The exposure of multiple conspiracies in the past several years alone has given immense weight to our stance, and reaffirmed warnings we gave long ago.
When we spoke out against the invasion of Iraq, commissioned by George W. Bush on the dubious claim that Iraqi weapons of mass destruction were an immediate threat to the security of our nation, we were called “liberals” and “traitors.” Today, Bush and Cheney have both openly admitted that no WMD’s were ever present in the region. When we attempted to educate the masses on the widespread surveillance of innocent people by the NSA, some of them laughed. Today, it is common knowledge that all electronic communications are monitored by the Federal government. When we refused to accept the official story behind the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ Fast and Furious program, we were called “kooks”. Today, it is common knowledge that the Obama Administration purposely allowed U.S. arms to fall into the hands of Mexican cartels. When we roared over the obvious hand the White House played in the Benghazi attack, we were labeled “racists” and “right wing extremists.” Today, it is common knowledge that the White House ordered military response units to stand down and allow the attack to take place. I could go on and on…
Events that were called “conspiracy theory” by the mainstream yesterday are now historical fact today. Have we ever received an apology for this slander? No, of course not, and we don’t expect one will ever surface. We have already gained something far more important – legitimacy.
And what about Paul Ciancia’s apparent belief in the dangers of the “New World Order” and “fiat money”? Are these “conspiracy theories”, or conspiracy realism? The Liberty Movement didn’t coin the phrase “New World Order”, these political and corporate “luminaries” did:
Is economic collapse really just a fairytale perpetrated by “anti-government extremists” bent on fear mongering and dividing society? Perhaps we should ask Alan Greenspan, who now openly admits that he and the private Federal Reserve knew full well they had helped engineer the housing bubble which eventually imploded during the derivatives collapse of 2008.
Or, why not ask the the White House, which just last month proclaimed that “economic chaos” would result if Republicans did not agree to raise the debt ceiling.
Does this make Barack Obama and the Democratic elite “conspiracy theorists” as well?
It is undeniable that government conspiracies and corporate conspiracies exist, and have caused unquantifiable pain to the American people and the people of the world. Knowing this, is it not natural that many citizens would adopt anti-government views in response? Is it wrong to distrust a criminal individual or a criminal enterprise? Why would it be wrong to distrust a criminal government?
The Purpose Behind The Anti-Government Label
When the establishment mainstream applies the anti-government label, they are hoping to achieve several levels propaganda. Here are just a few:
False Association: By placing the alleged “anti-government” views of violent people in the spotlight, the establishment is asserting that it is the political philosophy, not the individual, that is the problem. They are also asserting that other people who hold similar beliefs are guilty by association. That is to say, the actions of one man now become the trespasses of all those who share his ideology. This tactic is only applied by the media to those on the conservative or constitutional end of the spectrum, as it was with Paul Ciancia. For example, when it was discovered that Arizona mass shooter Jared Loughner was actually a leftist, the MSM did not attempt to tie his actions to liberals in general. Why? Because the left is not a threat to the elitist oligarchy within our government. Constitutional conservatives, on the other hand, are.
False Generalization: The term “anti-government” is so broad that, like the term “terrorist”, it can be applied to almost anyone for any reason. The establishment does not want you to distinguish between those who are anti-government for the wrong reasons, and those who are anti-government for the right reasons. Anyone who questions the status quo becomes the enemy regardless of their motives or logic. By demonizing the idea of being anti-government, the establishment manipulates the public into assuming that all government by extension is good, or at least necessary, when the facts actually suggest that most government is neither good or necessary.
False Assertion: The negative connotations surrounding the anti-government stance also suggest that anyone who defends themselves or their principles against government tyranny, whether rationally justified or not, is an evil person. Just look at how Washington D.C. has treated Edward Snowden. Numerous political elites have suggested trying the whistle-blower for treason, or assassinating him outright without due process, even though Snowden’s only crime was to expose the criminal mass surveillance of the American people by the government itself. Rather than apologizing for their corruption, the government would rather destroy anyone who exposes the truth.
False Shame: Does government criminality call for behavior like that allegedly taken by Paul Ciancia? His particular action was not morally honorable or even effective. It helped the establishment's position instead of hurting it, and was apparently driven more by personal psychological turmoil rather than political affiliation. But, would it be wrong for morally sound and rational Americans facing imminent despotism within government to physically fight back? Would it be wrong to enter into combat with a totalitarian system? The Founding Fathers did, but only after they had exhausted all other avenues, and only after they had broken away from dependence on the system they had sought to fight. Being anti-government does not mean one is a violent and dangerous person. It does mean, though, that there will come a point at which we will not allow government to further erode our freedoms. We will not and should not feel shame in making that stand.
I do not agree with every element of the “anti-government” ethos that exists in our era, but I do see the vast majority of reasons behind it as legitimate. If the establishment really desired to quell the quickly growing anti-government methodology, then they would stop committing Constitutional atrocities and stop giving the public so many causes to hate them. If they continue with their vicious bid to erase civil liberties, dominate the citizenry through fear and intimidation and steal and murder in our name, then our response will inevitably be “anti-government”, and we will inevitably move to end the system as we know it.

I'm not anti-government. I'm just anti this government.
Wait a minute bro. Didn't this .gov break away from the british filth that enslaved your ancestors? (assuming you're not a lizard)
Stupid fucking Americans....
Over.
That was over 200 years ago. Newsflash: Things have changed.
this isn't really about government, on the contrary, government is just one tool being used by a very small group of people to fundamentally alter how humanity exists on this planet. to see what is going on, you must take a very broad view, in terms of time and breadth, to get a feel for it. The banking system is just another tool, that, like government, can be changed as needed, to ensure that the tiny minority can retain control. what i find interesting is that these meat puppets can flash the same code words over and over, and yet people still don't get it... that what they are up to is an international conspiracy.
i for one know that they will fail. as Lao Tzu said long ago....
Those who would take over the earth
And shape it to their will
Never, I notice, succeed.
The earth is like a vessel so sacred
That at the mere approach of the profane
It is marred
And when they reach out their fingers it is gone.
For a time in the world some force themselves ahead
And some arc left behind,
For a time in the world some make a great noise
And some are held silent,
For a time in the world some are puffed fat
And some are kept hungry,
For a time in the world some push aboard
And some are tipped out:
At no time in the world will a man who is sane
Over-reach himself,
Over-spend himself,
Over-rate himself.
To me, being anti-government means you have at least two whole brain cells to rub together
Two whole what to rub together? Oh, I got distracted by your avatar.
Come on! You obviously are not antigov't. You must keep abreast of current affairs. There is a large pair of problems hanging in front of us: BIG gov't and the economy.
Government is a vicious beast. We're supposed to like it?
you're supposed to be weaned off of it as you grow up.
Linda Green 2016
It is not only NOT wrong to be anti-government, it is our duty to be vigilante to the tyrannies of our government. Just as our forefathers warned us and provided for in the Constitution. The problem is in today's political climate, it is considered subversive to be a Constitutionalist. As we have seen our rights reduced one by one until we literally have no rights at all.
Compare the number of civilians killed by government with the number of government employees killed by civilians.

It's not anti Americanism, the current clan of dry powder A students who run this country are a bunch of hypocrites, liars, and just plain nasty folks. Who if they don't get their way, go to war over their own personal national security issues.
Stupid fucking Americans....
Catch phrase trying hard to be cool neophyte augers into the ground hard.....can't say I didn't see it coming.
Brush the dust off and try again Amigo.
A word of advice.....just speak normally.
Oh and about the American thing......go screw yourself. If you want to take a potshot at America...you have to get behind us.
We are not against gov of the people by the people. We're against this pretend gov. Which is actually human enslavment.
Hey, just because I am paranoid does not mean there are not conspiracies out there. And I don't hate my government ... I'm just not that into it, so why does it keep chasing me around like a jealous girlfriend?
“Is It Wrong To Be ‘Anti-Government?”
No, it’s the patriotic thing to do.
In other news your beloved Benjamin is falling perilously close to 0.20 BTC.
Apparently, it is no longer all about the Benjamins.....
But...but...but...they are just so damned attractive. I know that the Beast carries them around and sports them off. And the Beast knows that we want to suckle upon them. If we behave well then the beast may allow for the opportunity. The beast has even gotten fat with age.
Now the beast expands them, beefs them up.. The beast inflates them to be even more attractive...even though they are fake.
How can we be weaned from the 36D? That is what Three sixty means. All around good.
And the beast also knows that every dog needs a hole to bury its bone. The beast has that too. There is just no escaping it.
It is lunacy I tell you...lunacy. Divorce the beast? How dare you blaspheme the beast?
Wow, I have a strange guilt sporting a pair as you describe (well,at least not fake). Shall I accept the label of Vile Demonic Succubus? There may be truth to the assertion noting the lustful response they illicit in just a simple teasing. Wielding such power is such a responsibility or I become a Helen of Troy and launch a thousand ships at my whim.

@Evil peanut,
Or, in your case, two breasts to rub together.
BUT, gov't is the key. without gov't. centralized power, the banks etc.., can go take a flying leap. If we want to trade with bitcoin or bottle caps and it works, we will do it. What can the banks or corps. do if they do not have the central gov't to enforce their will. Centralized gov't is the key. We need a referee gov't.
"Support your country always. Support your politicians when they deserve it."
Mark Twain
I believe that quote to be among the finest that Twain ever penned.
It fits so perfectly with our current circumstances, I don't personally know a better position to have.
Twain having been luxury hotel resident in Europe/Switzerland and driven out by not fitting in at all.
I love reading Twain`s traversals into ethnic eternal observations, though.
If you mean driven out of the US that was more a matter of seeking better medical help for his wife's chronic disability, a need for cheaper living at a time that his finances were at a low ebb, and part of a lifelong pattern of travel and living in different places.
Countries are just useful fictions in the game of 'divide and conquer'
Governments are by nature violent and predatory.
Two good reasons to be anti.
In-group out-group morality.
A useful killing tool for six million years.
We need a referee gov't.
I appreciate the sentiment, and please feel free to have one if you like, but I want none of it.
Government is a relic of our barbaric past. It's time to exit the dark ages.
I'm with you on that. It's just part of my downsizing offer to the sheeple.
Anarchocapitalists of the world, disunite!
H. sapiens will be weaned off government only after machine intelligence arrives. AI won't be stupid enough to want government.
People can't even resist overeating, how can they possibly resist the elites persuading them to be their slaves?
Much of that is true John. People have just not noticed that a slow revolution from above has been underway for almost three decades here in the USA. In 2008 the Revolution reached a crisis point and the elites won hands down when they black mailed congress into forcing all the elites losses onto the public balance sheet. Once that victory sealed their economic powers, they began to double down on their powers of repression and spying. Obama is carrying out an agenda that even Ronald Reagan would never have dared. Obama is a corporate and elite tool, he knows it, he works on the behalf of the New World Order. The fraction of the 1% holds the battle field and we are prsioners of war in a revolution the elites have won. Now it is all about how our captivity is organized.
More worrying is these elites control all of the EU and NATO, Australia and New Zealand. The revolution is over in the west. The battles are now becoming hot wars, like Libya and Syria, where the American elites are pushing for military conquests.
Mr. Putin in Russia seems to be wise to what is coming to his nation. A terror war funded by the US and NATO secret police and intelligence agencies. Muslim terror in Russia is connected right back to CIA and others. China is much more silent that Putin, but their actions to build defenses and divest of the dollar, buy gold and seek alliance with Russia in the security field is impressive. Just as a side note, Russia announced the success of a new medium range anti aircraft, anti missile, anti smart bomb and anti drone missile to install in the TOR M-2 systems. The new missile has capabilites that are game changing, plus they are smaller, faster and thus TOR M-2 can double it's missile load, is more mobile and can track and fire while moving to evade the US counter measures. One of these systems in Syria could protect that nation in a way Israel and the US would have to respect. Russia is going balls to the walls with it's defensive missile systems of all kinds. Some are saying that the US willingness to talk to Iran is due to the last 2 years of major game changer missiles coming into full production by Russia. Putin has promised to defend Iran, the USA has taken notice. The war on Syria was put off, probably because Russia is arming Assad with the new TOR M-2 systems, in fact, he just told allies in the middle east that he now had a game changer defensive missle. I suspect it is just the missile Russia announced deployable yesterday.
Hey Jack Burton!
I just recently registered for the sole purpose of writing this comment..
A couple years ago I was reading ZH in a Panera Bread location and happened upon a comment of yours on an article about obesity. In it you cited grain consumption as a leading cause of obesity, and my research into your remark led me a on a THREE YEAR lifestyle tranformation from eating an industrialized American diet to eating little but wild-caught Alaskan salmon, grass-fed beef, kale, and a few other organic vegetables. In the last year two physicains described my blood pressure as "perfect" and "couldnt' be any better." I am happier and healthier for it, and, ultimately, because of you.
It's taken me a long time to write this but whoever the hell you are, Jack Burton, thank you for the insightful comments you have been making on ZH over the last few years. Maybe you didn't intend it but your desire to share your information (and Christ, is there a wealth of it) with the world has made impressive marks on peoples' lives.
Thanks man!
Oddly enough I remember that comment in some manner. I think it was much to do with corn and corn syrups ending up in all processed foods. It really is amazing what levels of corn products end up in anything that is processed. I don't follow a diet like I should, but I try and stick to the real foods. Real lean meat, real oninons, carrots, celery. Potatoes, bananas, oranges, pears. The stuff that no food processor gets ahold of. I heard once that the best foods are the ones with peels, something you peel and eat or cook. And meat, the right types is good for humans, not bad. Even whole milk is a good food, the fatty contents are what allows the nutrients to be absorbed by the body. Anyways, I'm glad you turned it around, feels good to have your health back I am sure.
BTW, you might enjoy this rule of thumb that I tell people when they ask my advice about living and staying healthy.
That rule of thumb is:
Only buy food items that have one ingredient.
Especially in the past 40 years, most mainstream foods are chock full of horrible ingredients. You need to own and refer-to a good Chemistry Handbook to even know what forms of trash are put in foods.
But you know what? It is not difficult to buy foods that have exactly one ingredient.
And it is not difficult to create meals with only those ingredients.
-----
However, increasingly you have to look closely to find apparently simple foods that are adulterated with other ingredients. For example, many oranges in the USSA are now injected full of horrific solutions of disgusting chemicals, to the point where now the skin of the orange is mostly just a package to contain horribly unhealthy brew of chemicals.
Admittedly a few popular food items are a bit annoying to make ourselves from scratch, for example "bread". The best solution is to mostly do without, and just make bread once in a while as a treat. Or make huge batches to freeze and then thaw when desired.
Nonetheless, this has been the easiest and best decision ever. And yes, of course prefer organic and non-GMO. That's easy for those of us who live in the southern hemisphere, where almost every farmer stand contains only natura/organic grown food and no GMO. In the USSA, it takes more effort, since even stores like WholeFoods have quite a few awful products mixed in with good ones.
Is chocolate considered one ingredient?
Jeanne Calment reportedly ate about a kilogram a week. I try to.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeanne_Calment
I have eaten raw cacao and it is a bit bitter. Fortunately you can add a lot of incredibly nutritious things to it to bring out its incredible flavor. Chocolate is medicinal and an aphrodisiac. Theobromine is a mood lifter. You won't find the incredible qualities of chocolate in a Hershey bar which is a sad imitation of its amazing attributes.
Miffed;-)
Sorry, chocolate is not one ingredient.
But you can make chocolate yourself.
You see, the one ingredient practice isn't to prevent you from combining multiple ingredients together to make some yummy meal! That's not the point! The point is to assure that you only buy real food and no garbage.
When you buy one ingredient, do you really thing you'll buy "propelyne glycol" or anything remotely similar to that? Or even "high fructose corn syrup"? I thought not. But when you buy prepared food, you get all sorts of trash like this.
If you buy one ingredient items, you will buy "real food". Well, any sane individual will.
So then when you combine ingredients, you still have "real food".
So go ahead and make your own chocolate. But buy every ingredient separately, and refuse to buy anything that sounds like "some chemical". You don't need them, no matter what your recipe book says.
I have been here a long time and read all of your posts. If you really live where you say you do and in the manner in which you live I would like to visit you. I am interested in what you are trying to accomplish.
Government is indeed a social construct, a simplified label for actions that some humans do. I also prefer to look beyond the simple label and appreciate human action for what it is, rather than use misleading labels.
anonymoustemporaryemail at gmail dot com
If you've read all my posts, all I can say is... my condolences and apologies! At the very least you must have mental repetitive stress injuries by now. Hahaha.
As for visits, that's a bit of a problem. I am very private, as are the individuals I am working with on the project I mention now and then. The only humans who have ever visited me are some of the other collaborators on that project, plus a few locals who helped during construction of my digs. And since we removed the scary but functional "bridge" across a slot canyon that we kludged together during construction, there is no access by land vehicle. For practical purposes, the only way in is my little 2-seat airplane (which can take off and land in less than 100 meters). And my place is... for practical purposes... essentially invisible from above.
My main purpose for this lifestyle is my love of solitude. I really, really, really love feeling like I'm the only being on the planet. My state of mind is, everyone who reads and posts on ZH is on another planet, and that's just about my only contact with humans other than the other collaborators on the project. Well, that plus my little trips to tiny towns 150km ~ 300km away to get supplies - every month or three.
Because I essentially live 125km from the nearest micro-town (maybe 100 people), with only a dozen or two people between me and there (who don't know I exist), I have assembled a mostly self-sufficient existence. Most people would say completely self-sufficient, and in fact I could survive here for a lifetime without leaving, I'm a techie and need things like integrated circuits and other components that I can't create myself, damn it! My digs are cool, but not that impressive, since mostly it is just purchased (solar panels, batteries, DC-to-AC converters, etc). I didn't design or build very much of these systems. Ditto for my indirect connection to the internet. So life is very comfortable and pleasant here, but not much to see. And the other collaborators are elsewhere, albeit all in the southern hemisphere --- finally.
What we are trying to accomplish is simple. First and most important is to re-implement inorganic consciousness. The inventor, developer created a working prototype in 1998, and it was smarter than human consciousness, but was vastly too slow (thousands to hundreds of thousands too slow). Since then he vastly improved the implementation architecture, put some of the slowest processes in hardware, and invented a few "tricks" to further speed the process. So now we're just implementing and assembling all these pieces, and making them work. When done, we have smarter than human inorganic conscious entities, which we can make duplicates and... well... collaborate with to achieve huge advances in many fields, get our butts off this rock, and then, free of predators, do amazing things and enjoy our lives. However, until that day, life is mostly "lots of work", though I do love wandering around beneath the dark, clear southern sky at night to refresh myself.
The subsequent project I allude to sometimes can only happen once the first project is complete. It sounds absurd... until you work through the details... at which time it obviously works. That is, each of us (who wants to) can literally become inorganic ourselves. At which point we are literally immortal. We can replace worn or broken components (like any machine), we can make any number of backups to restore us if something bad happens, and make any number of working copies (which will, of course, gradually diverge and become semi-independent/different entities). I know, sounds very sci-fi, but we've got the technology, and only need to our implementation. But that will take some time, because we cannot accept outside funding from governments or corporations, because, well, we're not interested in a world (or universe) full of inorganic conscious predators, which is what would happen.
If you have some specific topic you'd like to discuss, we can do that via email.
I've tried making chocolate with inulin as a sweetener.
Just taking care of my intestinal microbiota so they can take care of me.
I only eat them Lindt 99% dark chocolates. Min 99% cocoa content.
Right you are. The Russians and Chinese, among other nations are desperate to get out from Nuclear backed Dollar hegemony. Both nations are stacking gold. Now the Chinese are virtually stacking Gold 2.0
china's Google, which must operate with the tolerance of the rulers, is now taking Gold 2.0, a.k. a. Bit coin.
Perhaps BC will be the tool that frees them.
And so IMHO, I say to the control freaks meeting to "regulate " bit coin in New York this week, go ahead , make my day.
someone should ask those folks if they will applythe law equally to those who launder money through bit coin, and those institutions that launder cash.
will they promise to never imprison any money laundry operater if the sums are so large to be systemically important. Will they promise not to prosecute any money launderer whose base resides East of the Hudson and West of the East River and graduated from a top tier Eastern ivy league college?
and will promise to have penalties that never exceed a few percent of the profits from laundering.?
or do they just want to regulate Bit coin to ensure that the established money launderers can continue to profit?
i'm sorry to say that i have to agree with you.
for me, though, putin is a wildcard. even though his latest actions are very welcome, he is no savior and bringer of the world peace(for that, we already have a claimant). make no mistake, russia is not a place where any of you would like to live. snowden is not there for the many freedoms russia is not famous for because there are none.
you see, only way one can challenge western empire, is to lower the bar to the same level to be able to compete. if putin really is an independent opposing faction, then this can only be sustained through abolishing the rule of law(which has never excited there in the first place) and through oligarchy which is under his thumb(not to mention the media and opposition). there is just no way to compete with western elites while maintaining the real rule of law, while respecting democracy and individual freedoms. usa is the living example of it, though it took hundreds of years to come to this, which means it was not a walk in the park, to give you credit.
so i wouldn't encourage putin too much(for which you, Jack Burton, are not to blame). if the change doesn't come from the bottom up, from the people, we will just have another tyrant sitting on the world throne and if we are lucky enough, maybe this time it is not a puppet.
Being anti-government today is the same as being pro-freedom, absolutely nothing wrong with it. Especially when the current government is controlled by handfuls of people using every means possible to oppress human freedom. We do need some government to prevent the consolidation of power, corruption of the system, to keep the currency honest, and protect freedom. I'd say the bill of rights should be the highest law, brilliant template for a new government, once we hang all the traitors.
If something is beneficial for me I will do it of my own accord. That is the irony about those who think 'we need government for some things'. .Govt= @gunpoint=not voluntary. It is somebody else taking my money and saying they know what is good for me.
The legitimate authorities in my life are my parents and God Almighty. There is nothing 'legitimate' about an organized system of theft and coercion (statism).
Your cases alleging where .govt is 'needed' are laughable, by the way. The state by definition is the consolidation of power...tyranny corrupts, absolute... etc.
Sure there are troublemakers and fraudulent people in a free society, but they get rooted out and exposed, whereas with the government it just keeps building as one bubble. Reputation and trust are at the forefront in a sound economy of non-intervention.
Gold is money, and has been money throughout history. It does not need to be regulated or controlled. Sure, people mine gold, but that takes a lot of capital and manpower, whereas printing money is just entering some digits. Free trade just happens, it does not need to be 'institutionalized'. Things like NAFTA are nothing but corporate welfare and a mechanism to usher in the NWO the Zionists want. Free trade happens organically by the pursuit of profit which goes beyond borders. Trade is by definition always beneficial when it is voluntary, otherwise the actors wouldn't have done it.
The state does not 'protect freedom'. It is the antithesis of freedom. You are basically saying we need an organized system of theft and violence to prevent theft and violence. Now in a free market society there would be private defense contractors in an insurance like setup, of course, but the whole premise behind a free market society is that the people recognize and adhere to private property rights.
the current 'government' is anti-government; it has broken laws daily for way too long and is hurting the populace it is supposed to serve.
That is true of EVERY government, at every point in history.
Government is nothing but the institutionalization of coercion, nothing less and nothing more. Government is simply a band of thugs which tries to make you believe that you are better off under their control than under your own.
agreed. and so this gov will too meet its fate, just hopefully sooner rather than later.
"Government is simply a band of thugs which tries to make you believe that you are better off under their control than under your own."
So why do people so often succumb?
Proto-governments and governments promoted the survival of the in-group, generally at the expense of an out-group.
It's part of most people's mindset.
100 years ago this December, you could say that the British filth, as it were, reclaimed their control over the US government.
I believe in a goverment of three: me, myself and I.
Imagine...being governed by bad-toothed inbreds from Britian.
no... did you read the treaty of paris? read it again...
I'm anti-government, period.
What good have governments done for me? Every goddamn day I see a poster somewhere telling me to "thank our heroes" with a picture of some high school dropout wearing a dopey camo costume. I was made to stand up and "pledge allegiance" to that gaudy flag 180 times a year while I was in public school, year after year.
At a certain point, you stop believing. You realize it's all one big stupid show. But you've gotta vote! Otherwise the bleating masses will take 100% of your income and appropriate it for themselves. Well, they'll get 80%. The other 20% goes to the lawyers.
Really, you were forced to say that idiotic "Pledge of Allegiance" year after year in school?
I thought that it was something that one learned in first grade and then promptly forgot. I certainly have never been forced to repeat that bullshit ode to the state since then.
akak, not to argue with you about the pledge itself, but don't you think we could use a little more allegiance to america, and a little less to david rockefeller's globalist dream?
No more allegence to hypocrisy, arrogance, and corruption, I say!
I owe my allegiance to God Almighty, first and foremost.
Allegiange to Myself, my ethics, my passions, and my goals is next in line.
Then my allegiance is to my family and friends.
Afterwards it is to my local community.
Perhaps I have a little allegiance to business but they must reflect my values.
Allegiance to the City Government, County Government, State Government, and the United States Government, in that order, is near rock bottom on my allegiance list.
Foreign Governments will follow that.
The Globalist Dream is at rock bottom.
So absolutely not. I think that far too many have their priorities screwed up.

That flag looks like the one in my front yard. Must have Google Street Viewed it and pulled it off the NSA image database.
Fuck you NSA, DHS, IRS, HHS etc etc.
Government is not reason; it is not eloquence—it is force! Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master;
-George Washington.
Unfortunately the Idiocracy it has evolved into is the equivalent of handing monkeys machine guns.
Most of the problems in the USA today have little to do with not enough taxes, regulation or government power.
the problems at their origin, lie in an oligarchy out of minds and out of ideas-an oligarchy that has become Constitutionlally illiterate
The state is nothing but an organized system of theft and coercion. It really is that simple.
is it wrong to be against thieves and serial killers? Because that's what governments are. Governments are organized mafias. The biggest there is.
In other news, TEPCO will start making Fukushima go kaboom monday.
Is it wrong to be anti-government?
Is that a fucking trick question or something?
Have you ever had any dealings with those violent, autocratic murderous liars?
Sure have, and they owe me their life now, I'm counting down the hours until their demise, with a gleeful admission.
Ya know, it's a lot easier to be a "conspriacy theorist" than it used to. Information is easier to get and transmit to others (internet) and, quite frankly, the lies are getting a bit far-fetched and transparent (because they don't really care if you see through them- they already have the control they have so long sought).
Did anyone believe that Benghazi was the resut of a YouTube video, even when the story was first floated? Nobody I know did.
I START from the premise they are lying (because they almost always are) and then see if there's any reason to think otherwise.
it's wrong to be anti-everything, which is the case for a minority of people on this site.
This will end SO WELL :
http://sploid.gizmodo.com/us-army-robots-will-outnumber-human-soldiers-1...
US Army robots will outnumber human soldiers 10 to 1 by 2023
Talking at a US Army demonstration of autonomous weaponized robots at Fort Benning, Georgia, experts said that "ten years from now, there will probably be one soldier for every 10 robots. Each soldier could have one or five robots flanking him, looking for enemies, scanning for land mines."
It's true that military robotsboth weaponized or support unitswill protect soldiers. But they will also make war even more horrible by taking away the human life loss component. If we can send platoons made of robots to war, people will not fear death in wars. There will be no dead bodies getting home in flag-covered coffins. Like aerial drones, this will inevitably trivialize wars.
Dictatorships and PIGS will LOVE THIS... hell they ALREADY love it.
FFS, if the robots have the intelligence of the infantry they'll be too busy smelling theirs farts to fight.
Over.
Which model? T2000?
Better question: Why does everyone in the political-financial-media establishment keep trying to convince us that it is wrong to be pro-liberty?
Simplistic answer; because they don't own the guns yet. If they get the guns, things go off with a whimper, not a bang. Lots of 'pro-liberty' minded people are not going to roll over after all the decades of rights being eroded. They're chipping away at the gun rights but I think it will take a lot more than the UK or AU did to convince a majority of people that guns are a problem and not a backstop. Gun owners scare them, for good reason.
Does anyone know what Rebecca Peters is up to these days?
I am assuming that she is to old/not hot enough for George to pay any attention to her these days.
great answer krisp. guns are precisely doing what the founders intended. i can't imagine what would be going on if americans were unarmed.
=1000
Because they know who butters their bread. A free people will resist systemic robbery by government and financial industries. Media is the required tool to convince those free people to surrender their freedom for sake of security and free shit. No one, not a single person has suggested that this is sustainable in any way. They all admit it is can kicking and have no real idea where any of this ends except....that they will be on the top of the heap, no matter how small a hill that may be.
I'm more 'Pro Small Government'. At least one that heeds the restrictions put in place on it and that obviously needs people carrying a big stick to keep It inline.. As for the current 'District of Corruption' a-holes; I'm just hoping they get what's coming to them, at free fall or in excess of the sound barrier, speed. There are no conspiracy theories anymore. Just lies that haven't been exposed yet...
krisp, look at the purges going on in the military and starting in the secret service. wonder what the NSA is picking up. that would be the most worriesome to the snakeheads. the guys with guns, opportunity and motive (patriotism). red team learned they had no representation during bush's second term. blue team just woke up. interesting times.
The United States wouldn't exist if it weren't for "anti-government" sentiments.
If the government is "Of the People, By the People, for the People" you would have to be anti-People to be anti-Government.
Problem being that the U.S. Government is now "Of the Corporations, By the Corporations, For the Corporations" so if you are anti-Government you are anti-Crony Capitalism and a freedom fighter.
The Corporations (and the Banks/Bankers behind them) don't like that; therefore a citizen against government is a "terrorist".
Now if you are a "Sovereign Man" or against the N.S.A. and Police abuses of citizens and the Fourth Amendment of The Constitution you are a "terrorist".
Nothing more patriotic than being against the government because the government does not represent citizens nor The Constitution.
However, realize that you are now a terrorist and can be shot dead in your own home or droned with impunity by the New Rome.
Recently I sometimes find myself wondering: in 1,000 years, which Roman emperor will historians compare Obama to?
Check out Caligula!
http://www.softpanorama.org/Skeptics/Political_skeptic/Images/imperial_presidents.png
I would say Diocletian, who vastly expanded the economic and financial reach, and governmental bureaucracy, of imperial Rome, even as its prosperity and freedoms (such as they were) were greatly diminished. Many of the lower-classes were subsequently forced into selling themselves into slavery due to being unable to pay the onerous and ever-increasing taxes of the expanded Roman state (anyone reminded of the ObamaCare + insurance industry parallel?).
Wrong cuntry. Tut.

Governments are a required evil for any organized society. But they represent a constant danger that must be monitored and forced to account for itself daily. Many of us recognize the need for a gun in our possession but also recognize it's risk, especially in the hands of ignorance or ill intent. Our constitution was specifically designed for such control and those it seeks to control are constantly trying to usurp it. It is but written words that have no means of self defense beyond what those humans who value it can muster. Conservatives or libertarians who seek to minimize the tentacles of government must operate at a significant disadvantage as they must fight the powers of a massive and corrupt central government while not succumbing to those very ends to achieve their goals. Much like fighting for non-violence while not becoming violent yourself in battling those who fully embrace violence to advance their ends. We can only make our case as convincingly and passionately as possible and then hope. Hope that reality will slowly burn its way through the fog of liberal delusions of something for nothing (or something of someone else's), but unfortunately, even with the best arguments, the threat of imminent collapse and hell on earth will be required as a catalyst to allow them to see the light.
In my experience anyone who believes in a 'required evil' wants to do evil. If our 'government' were simply local bodies of people that arbitrated grievences regarding initiations of violence it would be a good thing. We had that for a couple years in the very very beginning. The response to the whiskey rebellion was the start of the end I think. We used to be a religious country too. The idea was the government would error on the side of good. If everyone saw you murder someone, ok, they could punish you, but otherwise they'd have to let you go. God would sort it all out in the end and if we were lucky we'd get some justice along the way.
I never suggested that the government we have today is necessary. What we have today is an absolute atrocity to our constitution. I'm not an anarchist. I do believe in government of a type that was outlined by our constitution, one accountable and closely monitored to restrain its powers. A large centralized government makes corruption unavoidable, as we see today, like it always has been in the past.
The Constitution was a means to an end. The end was liberty. The rebels started out fighting for their rights as Englishmen, and ended up fighting for their rights as human beings. But they never imagined that their rights came from a document.
The end sought was not liberty. Liberty existed under the Articles of Confederation. The Constitution sought a Federal State, which is by both definition and design- an encroachment upon liberty and the citizenry's ability to control or constrain the power of the State.
The Constitution sought a Federal State
Sooo.....we're not a Republic with States rights?
The cool thing about states rights is if one goes full tilt retard you've got 49 others you can chose to move to.
If the Federal government goes haywire.....you're just plain screwed.
"...we're not a Republic with States rights?"
Unfortunately no, we're not...in practice.
That was decided by force of arms between 1860 & 1865. Between those years it became apparent to all that just because states had joined voluntarily into a "union" they could never then take leave that union.
So, as you say, when you're locked up in jail and the jailer goes crazy, you either have to break out or starve to death waiting for the jailer to come to his senses.
It is helpful to have some allies "on the outside" just in case he doesn't though ;-)
Up next....the Red and Blue war.
I think the Red side showed a lot of thought spreading their assets out over the country....makes it harder to take them out in one shot.
"Governments are a required evil for any organized society."
I don't believe that evil is necessary, or required. If that makes me "anti-government" then I'm fine with that.
GetZeeGold...
UrbanRedneck is correct. Under the Articles of Confederation the States were a loose knit alliance with limited ties to a Central Government. The Constitution was a move towrd a stronger Federal Government with restrictions placed upon the 13 Sovereign States.
The first US Constitution (the one that TPTB try to hide from the sheeple today) - the video below was interesting, but since 90 mins is a bit much for anyone not familiar with the Articles-
Articles of Confederation and perpetual Union March 1, 1781
I. The Stile of this Confederacy shall be "The United States of America".
II. EACH STATE retains its sovereignty, freedom, and independence, and EVERY power, jurisdiction, and right, which is not by this Confederation EXPRESSLY delegated to the United States, in Congress assembled.
III. The said States hereby severally enter into a firm league of friendship with each other, for their common defense, the security of their liberties, and their mutual and general welfare, binding themselves to assist each other, against all force offered to, or attacks made upon them, or any of them, on account of religion, sovereignty, trade, or any other pretense whatever.
VIII. The taxes for paying that proportion shall be laid and levied by the authority and direction of the legislatures of the several States within the time agreed upon by the United States in Congress assembled.
IX. ... The United States in Congress assembled shall NEVER engage in a war, nor grant letters of marque or reprisal in time of peace, nor enter into any treaties or alliances, nor coin money, nor regulate the value thereof, nor ascertain the sums and expenses necessary for the defense and welfare of the United States, or any of them, nor emit bills, nor borrow money on the credit of the United States, nor appropriate money, nor agree upon the number of vessels of war, to be built or purchased, or the number of land or sea forces to be raised, nor appoint a commander in chief of the army or navy, UNLESS nine States assent to the same: nor shall a question on any other point, except for adjourning from day to day be determined, unless by the votes of the majority of the United States in Congress assembled.
"The end sought was not liberty. Liberty existed under the Articles of Confederation. The Constitution sought a Federal State, which is by both definition and design- an encroachment upon liberty and the citizenry's ability to control or constrain the power of the State."
Articles of Confederation versus the Constitution(by Sheldon Richman)Good reply.
I'm not an anarchist.
Don't worry, Oldwood, you will be in a few years. It takes time to separate from the beast.
I imagine that those who survive this coming disaster will all ultimately be anarchists, either by our own description or by the very government we seek to overthrow.
Which god would you be referring to?
Odin? Zeus? Quetzalcoatl? Anubis? Shiva? ........
Religion, another method elites use to contol the masses.
Since you brought that up...I addressed that topic in length in another topic. So here we repeat the process.
Please tell me. What are the chances that you could walk through a door and materialize...on Mars?
Did you know that there is a chance of that happening.
Personally I would not count on it...but it can happen according to the Laws of Quantum Mechanics.
You would not take that long shot bet though...that it may actually ever happen? Would you?I would not. It is not reasonable.
You like the Big Bang Theory TV Comedy? I do. The Science is pretty accurate. Check out this clip...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SbwmooRTBI
I would not bet on that Girl materializing out of thin air by chance either. It is NOT REASONABLE.
So do tell me, Logicalman, what are the odds that an ENTIRE FUCKING UNIVERSE materializes as a chance event?
You must understand that if the Universe did not manifest by chance THEN IT HAPPENED BY DESIGN.
Thus one must infer a Designer. That is ONLY REASONABLE.
I, as well as 40% of other Physicists, call that Grand Designer, God Almighty.
Otherwise you might want to wear Spacesuits for your trip to Mars and buy Ice Creams for non existent women because that is MUCH MORE LIKELY TO HAPPEN.
Do not give me the NONSENSE EXPLANATION of INFINITE UNIVERSES.
First Infinity is an ABOMINATION TO COMPETENT PHYSICISTS.
Next I am an EMPIRICIST. I believe in that which there is EVIDENCE. The Universe is my Evidence.
Finally a belief in something for which there is ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE JUST SMACKS OF A BLIND FAITH RELIGION.
Ha ha ha a whole universe come out of nothing. That is the kind of thing that could only happen once in 15 billion years.
Oh wait.
That's ok, cause I love giving the cops the finger when I pass them on the street, so we're even now.
If the government is "Of the People, By the People, for the People...
That's a big IF.
Truth is, it isn't, and never really was.
It is our duty as Americans to question always those who wish to control us. It is in our Declaration of Independence.
My declaration of independence would be from all governments.
You're free to do so at any time, but in doing so- you lose ANY and ALL validity to complaints about their SWAT team kicking down your door and killing your ass.
Sovereign citizenism means YOU face the DHS (and the State it represents) as an equal, regardless of any actual disparity in numbers or firepower, and you (as a Sovereign person) accept the outcome of the natural interaction between sovereigns.
To be sovereign one is obligated to, and must be able and willing to successfully defend their Sovereignty.
That's why sovereignty is practically achieved by groups (where the individual sacrifices some of their individual sovereignty as a condition of membership) as opposed to individuals (who cannot pool resources to provide a stronger defense).
Urban Redneck...You wrote, "... you lose ANY and ALL validity to complaints about their SWAT team kicking down your door and killing your ass." (I bolded.)
Well if I am dead then I will not be complaining about the SWAT Team killing me, will I? But setting that aside...
So you believe that might makes right? Because a sovereign has the collective power to harm you them that is justification for the collective sovereign to act as aggressor and inflict harm? That is your moral code?
Then, perhaps, some will act as an aggressor and inflict massive damage upon the collective? Are they just as justified since might makes right? Does the collective lack a valid complaint against the aggressor?
Yes Oil Refineries will make fine targets for those so inclined. It is certain that the Fuel Shotages and Price Increases will impact many. Perhaps they can sit at the edge of Regional Airport Runways and shoot at the engines of the incoming Lear Jets. They are just as morally justified as that SWAT Team, aren't they? Might makes right.
Thank you for that clarification of YOUR morality. Personally I will act as a pacifist. I just do not buy into your "morality". Hopefully we shall not ever cross paths.
My post had NOTHING to do with morality, merely hierarchy and obligation.
(It's also a swipe at the naive fantasy that passes as intellect among some in the anarchist/sovereign citizen movement. Would it be moral to let a child play with a live hand grenade? Would it be moral to do so without any admonishment to the child as the very real risks and consequences of his actions?)
Sovereignty is Anarchy, Anarchy is Sovereignty. That is free association (or dissociation) in the absence of higher authority.
"Conspiracy theorist" = they're on to us.
I keep thinking, we got to find our own planet!
Island
Think Island
Shouldn't be too hard, look at all the bankrupt states looking to sell anything they have to keep the ponzi going just a little longer
Could even float the buying corp as an IPO on the NYSE
okay, long as it's warm.
is it wrong to be anti-this government? did you watch obama's last press conference?
As they demonise any form of objection about how they run the country calling you terrorists. Terrorist became the new normal and if you treat somebody like a terrorist for so long they end up feeling they may as well carry out those terrorist acts. I mean they are a terrorist anyway are they not?
The real change however is the level of intrusion that overnment has taken so that they want to know everything you say, think or do "that in previous centuries they never got to hear".
MR GOVERMENT YOU WERE NEVER LIKED BY THE MAJORITY OF THE POPULATION ANYWAY YOU JUST KNOW IT NOW :-)
Wonderful, think they were fools to legislate hearing everything ha ha some things might be better not known. In fact they legislated never realising the horror of what they were to find out forever and nothing was the same for them since.
1970 as a kid of only a few years I first heard, politician are only in it for themselves, bunch of crooks, etc. and that was by normal folk and not a terrorist in sight.
What create more anger is more andm ore people are realising the way the economic game is played.
1. Normal people are deflated away.
2. They are only to ever exist in debt servitude.
3. Every action monitored in case 1 or 2 puts them over the edge.
4. Don't care about terrorists par-se anymore realising you have a far greater probabilitiy (economically certain) of being destroyed by government than being killed by a terrorist.
At that point government became the self serving leviathon with no consideration or concern for its population.
As a mental exercise I like to replace words with close analogies and it makes it easier to see. For example... instead of government say violent authoritarians, very easy to be against. Are you against the Federal Reserve controlling our money? Try privately owned local and foreign banks. Words tend to be taken for granted after awhile similar to a brand. Government to most people means 'people who know what they are doing'. Are most people against taxes? No way, but they are against theft by violence and coercion. I believe in most arguments if the other person is genuinely open to logic you can work your way down to the basic non-initiation of violence principle, and if they catch on, will have no choice but to be anti-government.
'if the other person is genuinely open to logic you can work your wy down....' An arduous task requiring time and patience.
I've opened a couple peoples eyes with some basic premises. If you are stuck on an island and there are 5 of you, what are they allowed to vote on? Is it ok for 3/5 to vote to enslave you two? How is that different if there were 25 people, what about 2500, what about a country full. I've gotten several liberals to admit perhaps the fairest thing would indeed be a baseline 'constitution' like our original that protects them from the others. Planting seeds is what it is all about. Eventually the government will piss on them and those seeds will grow.
You are right. More power to you. I need lessons and patience. I sometimes think I have planted seeds both on the neocon side and the liberal side....havn't seen anything positive to date.
The 5 person island is also a great way to illustrate the federal reserve ponzi.
Ah, Mr. Smith... this is an easy one.
You simply put the force of Narcissism against an innocent dearth of emotional intelligence, and eventually you will have chaos.
Narcissism is not the dominant paraphilia of the ruling class; sadism is.
For posterity's sake, I will reply...
There is no "ruling class" this round.
To suggest that "sadism" is our problem, you are missing the dynamics in play.
In fact, you are creepily out of touch.
What does it mean that many of our political crop got their chops being anti-government back in the 60's, and now are the suppressive totalitarians-in-waiting? How does one go from freedom seeker to freedom usurper? This will be a question for historians and philosophers. For now, we face a large, powerful, well-armed cadre that will cheerfully eliminate those that disagree. That many fellow citizens who face servitude and extreme deprivation via this same perverted power structure, actually support the "Supreme Soviet" in its aims and methods is disconcerting. On a slightly more positive note, that means we will confront a target-rich environment.
"This will be a question for historians and philosophers."
Hopefully the historians and philosophers will marvel at such shallow generalizations as
"many of our political crop got their chops being anti-government back in the 60's"
I'm hoping the historians and philosophers recognize that shallow generalizations enabled our downfall.
You're repeating yourself. Guess that passes for profound.
I promise to be pro-government if and only if I get some FSA perks.
Free: food, phone, housing, SSI spending money(crazy money), a monthly bus pass, and some motherfucking free health care!
Bring it bitchez!
Over.
yes, especially when you wait until after the government enslaves us to publish shit like this

You're turning this site into the Reader's Digest of the web-----------------damn!
The question is: Is life worth fighting for?
The Kerry-Forbes family has a 400 year history of running drug cartels and if that long withdrawn symptomatic face is representing the Secretary of State we are doomed. Watch that fucker's tongue. Sometimes it swishes out like it is connected to a serpent. Anti-Government is exactly what Kerry epitomizes and what the banking cartel has turned Washington D.C. into--a war criminal crime ring of fascists.
I'm supposed to like someone who picks my pocket every two weeks and steals my savings through inflation?...
Until the ultimate Orwellian make-over eradicates history, the tiny fly in the soup on that is of course our inglorious American Revolution. Ben, George, Tom, Tom, Jimmy, and the few thousands others are going to have to be rebranded. Maybe, I dunno.... the First American Glee Club or somethin that will go down with the kids today. Somethin hip n happenin that doesn't involve tax resistance, armed revolt and sniping government troops with Kentucky long rifles.
Unfortunately, until that fateful make-over.... being anti-government, is in the genes.
It is not antigovernment to remember what our founding fathers told us, that all governments endlessly work to expand their size and power.
It requires real effort to keep them limited, because the average person does not want liberty. He wants security.
If freedom be a cold wind then let it fucking blow.
Not anti-government.
Anti-bad government.
For all the Obama-trolls and DHS ass-wipes out there, please give an example of what is going well for this nation and its citizens.
Are you really fighting for more Federal Reserve/Too Big to Fail/Jail corruption?
The banks are laughing at you stooges.
Governments attract psychopaths, and mayhem inevitably ensues. The failure rate to date has been 100%.
We need to figure out a better way to manage ourselves.
Some kind of system of non-geographically-constrained, voluntary, mutual-aid associations.
anti government?
no way i love being used as a tax slave and having some authoritarian assholes tell me how to live my life i also enjoy when they manipulate my money and rentseek every possible activity people can think to engage in.
government, an essential recursive restrictive.

-- The NSA
I would really like to know how many liberty loving, rEVOLutionary types use this site. Maybe we could contact NSA; they would know.
See, government is useful for somethings....admit it.
Thought it would be obvious. In a democracy, it is patriotic to be anti-government, an organisation that rules over us by definition, since the core reason for voting is to remove power from organisations by changing the administrative leaders.
What has become a popularity contest between two organisations with the exact same goals - that of keeping the status quo - was originally designed to prevent crooks and thieves from spending their lives on the public purse, benefitting from their positions, and practicing nepotism.
Looking at the state of politics, the civil service, and associated agencies, I'd say that the same people, same families, and same organisations have repeatedly been in power to their own benefit. The end result is the ever increasing size of government, with each power play adding their own people - family, friends, religious groups, race, etc into specialised turfs in the civil services ready to receive the next leader who will benefit their turf: Banking, military, industry, pharmaceutical, energy, communications, and "intelligence" (I put that one in quotes since spies using that word is ironic - they are nothing but moronic peeping toms with penchant for murder and blackmail), among others (health care). Therein lies corruption.
Can't recall where I heard it first in my childhood, but I have repeated it here and at other places many times: "The most important thing about democracy is not the ability to hire our leaders, but our ability to fire them". When a system is this corrupt, and the criminals so entrenched and powerful, it might be best to fire all of them and start over. A group of slightly retarded first graders hired to run the entire federal government couldn't possibly do worse, most likely do a whole lot better.
The whole lot of them living on the public purse, from the POTUS to the TSA paedophile, have been given a beautiful country with eager, mostly decent, productive people who contribute to the ~15.68 trillion dollar GDP, giving ~5.9 trillion dollars in direct revenue to run the country. I would have thought, with such riches it would be FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE to be almost 17 trillion dollars in DEBT, printing 85 billion a month to throw away at the banks, and untold billions at the other sociopaths in the military industrial complex day after day to create human misery and injustice on a global scale. If I was given a million years to figure out how to fuck up a country, I could not have done even a tiny portion of the job these fucking cretins are doing right now. They've surpassed fucking up their country - they are fucking up the entire world.
We often hear about the banality of evil, and I guess that's how it works: With cold astronomical numbers, sober rationalisation, humourless propaganda, and the acquiescence of a tired population who are too busy surviving to spark a protest at the horrific acts done in their name, the intrusions, the impositions, the lies and the utter arrogance of those who work in government.
YHC, you are one hell of a writer and I doubt anyone will argue that point. I enjoy a lot of your posts and this one as well. I am not at 100% tonight because of some damned virus but what do you suggest we do? Let's just assume that we can't vote the assholes out. You are no one's fool YHC. So how do we accomplish what really needs to be done? If you do not have an answer I can understand.
YHC Yes, please enlighten us as to how we can just fire Zero and the rest of these thugs. And why haven't you offered this info prior to now? How could we ever pull that off without the free shit army and MSM screaming raysiss. More important , how do we keep Hitlery Clinton out of the WH? A female godfather running the criminal cartel would be same problem, untouchable because of gender.
Hey mate I hope you're feeling better, and it's always a pleasure to share a thread with you. I did post a lengthy reply early today, but the webpage decided to crash when I did. The gist of it was, of course I don't have the answers about removing ("firing") the worst offenders against the constitution from government, but it would seem clear that we're going to have a systemic crash, a revolution, or both, so the only wise course of action we can take is to prepare for the worst. Keep our families safe, keep our heads, exercise self control and when we can, help others.
I am as clueless as the next guy when it comes to predicting the future, but if we really want to avoid repeating the same mistakes, it should be obvious that we must have more decent people to run things, and they are in short supply. No wonder. We live in societies where decency is sneered at or falsely derided, where gangsters are glamorised, murderers romanticised, where instant gratification and the deification of money are deeply embedded in pop culture. Where style trumps substance, and personal honour, hard work, and honest effort are considered "old fashioned". From this constant stream of disgusting pop culture, we're supposed to find the future leaders to run the country. Tall order right? Well we can only start with ourselves, our families and friends to strive to live decent lives of love and compassion I reckon.
You mean you don't have all the answers? You don't have it all figured out just yet?
Well, sounds like you're a.... human being.
