Two comments:  1) I would be surprised if the president, like any other politician, didn't lie to us;  2) Best lawyer??? Wherever in the world did you get that?  He never practised a day in in his life.  At best you might make an argument for best law student, based on the mythical head of Harvard Law Review nonsense, or you might make a case that we was a renowned lecturer (rather than the widely acclaimed "professor" status that is often attributed to him), which is also dubious given the testimonials to the quality of his lectureships, but as far as being a lawyer goes, he is totally untested.  What you have here is the best annointed candidate who ticked off all the right boxes for the Democratic Party in 2008.

Hey Tyler - How about a piece or two on JFK?!

It's his 50th anniversary and he was some hero!

"Warren Commission Report: The Most Absurd Investigation In US History"

.

http://stateofthenation2012.com/?p=1296

"JFK was by far the most courageous and self-sacrificing president in modern American history. In his almost 3 year tenure, he made more bold decisions, issued more audacious executive orders, and enacted more revolutionary policy than all of the other US presidents of the 20th century put together. How so, you might ask?
What follows is a list of ten reasons why JFK became the most targeted man in America in 1963.
Each of these 10 explanations standing alone would be considered extremely life-threatening to any sitting president of the USA. And these are just the top ten; there are many other brave initiatives undertaken by JFK which pitted him directly against the TPTB (The Powers That Be).
Therefore, the real question is how JFK managed to survive as long as he did. "

Very true.

JFK was "eliminated" because of his stance on a return to 'honest money'. Silver.

At that time the US still had a massive stock pile of physical silver. The US minters and engravers were in the process of printing new currency notes backed by silver. And were close to issueing this new currency, therefore cutting out the central banker middlemen, at the time of his assasination.

First thing LBJ did when assuming office was recind JFK's executive currency order and direct that all this new "silver dollar" currency be quetly destroyed. Look it up for yourself, a matter of public record.

Obama is constitutionally (lol) unable to speak without lying and blaming others.  I wish I had a  complete list of those he's blamed for his problems over the past six years - Rev Wright,  Wall Street, "people with guns", racism, Solyndra mgmt,  advisors who didn't tell him how "big the problem was", rich folks,  blah blah

For the economy he's blamed inherited a "bad situation", Japanese earthquake, weather, Arab Spring, Bush, tax "breaks", globalization, new technology, Big Oil, ATMs, airport kiosks, overseas funds, speculators, Congress, GOP, bad luck, Europe and FOX, S&P, war, fat cats / those against redistribution, the debt limit and lately Germany

For Obamacare he's blamed web developers, not being "informed", insurance companies, the GOP/Congress/Tea Party, the media for not report "what goes right", FOX, GOP governors, political gridlock, "not being clear" - despite  saying, "Let me be clear about this...."

What's going on now is that the Game of Thrones is game on.

The prize is the succession to the throne of the powers that be.

The power of that throne was unusually concentrated in the persona of Obama. Usually the American President is constrained in ways that Obama was not - the clearest example has been the fawning obsequiousness of the media. This phase is over.

Not a tearing down now, but each of the players and their institutions are scrambling to distance and triangulate. Whatever damage they inflict on Obama is just collateral damage. (Heh.) Their objective is to succeed, in all senses of the word.

Note well this isn't a Democrat or Republican thing. Nor is it purely an elective politics thing. Obama's coattails have been strong in finance and tech - gone now.

This is all very exciting. We have work to do.

If your philosophy and policy inclinations tend authentically progressive, please do your utmost to wage insurgent political war against the Establishment Democrats.

If your philosophy and policy inclinations tend authentically conservative, please do your utmost to wage insurgent political war against the Establishment Republicans.

The Establishment is for itself, not for us. Attacking the opposite base is like rushing a machine gun nest at the Somme; this is what the parties are organized for - defense agains the Other. Please everybody - lay off the Other; direct efforts against the soft, proximate underbelly of the Establishment. Simply by forcing them to "raise shields", the isolation and self-interest of the Establishment becomes undeniable to all.

I believe the promise was to make all information publicly accessible thru a website. You see, with a website, the info would be accessible 24x7, with fast response time, and searchable. Millions could sign up for access and view everything from WH meeting minutes to live video feed of drone strikes on marriage ceremonies. It's a grand idea that could be used in the future for other programs like healthcare reform.

The Supreme  Court ruled that Obamacare was constitutional as a tax. Initially Obama denied vociferously that it was a tax. The Supremes said "its constitutional as a tax". Obama's response was "its a tax". Even Obama's lawyers were arguing in front of the Supremes that it was a tax while Obama lied to the nation. As we can fully see now, it had very little to do with health care.

I can direct you to multiple black liberal [liberal, not democrat] websites that have a common theme: Obama declared that the US was/is post-racial and that in multiple speeches Obama has chastized blacks for their lifestyle choices in a way that would automatically be condemned if done by any other politician. In fact, Obama and his acolytes ushered in the greatest wave of gentrification as a model for which to address inner city dysfunction ever seen in this country. In those cities where gentrification is not possible for a variety of reasons, you have little Detroits springing up all over the country. You may not agree with what is being written by them, but at the very least its an interesting read.

Sun, 11/17/2013 - 10:22 | 4162212 Oldwood

Obama is using race as a devisive tool. He is NOT advancing black Americans cause in doing so, only his and his corrupt associates. And liberals, of any stripe, will support any person or entity that advances collectivism through wealth redistribution. No living thing on this planet wants to be "equal". Even the weeds in your yard are trying to out grow each other. Those promoting equality are in reality promoting wealth redistribution to gain advantage. They are seeking a "handicap" through this redistribution as well as other affirmative actions, but do not think that they or anyone will be content with "equality" especially amongst themselves. We have seen certain "classes" of Black Americans advance substantially while most are left far behind, but failings are ultimately the fault of conservative thought, thereby keeping the agenda intact.

I don't think so.  None of these fuckers are "trustworthy" -- even family members within the elite fuck each other over on a regular basis.   They manage to cooperate well enough to profit, handsomely, from the rest of us, but trustworthy they ain't.

The Zapruder film story rings true.   Except that they don't show the stooge the same film that we've seen, they show him another version, the unmodified one, which makes it clear that the fatal shot came from the front.

Diogenes,

Not only probable but true. The Chicago/Boston/NY wings of the Democratic Party are dominant. One does not rise through the political ranks of the Democratic party unless you are sponsored by people of power in high places.

He ws sponsored by Ted Kennedy and that is the end of the story. What they did not count on was the long memory of the electorate on the negatives of the Clinton name. After 8 years of Bush's bullsh--, Hillary was supposted to be a shoe-in for the nomination. Many who remembered her husbands time in office however, could not support her in the primaries and hense, the annointed one got the nod.

So here we are. Add this to the list of things that we have to thank the Kennedy family on.

delusion is a dangerous fiction. people "stop listening" for a reason. this includes to "the media itself" I might add. play the "blame game" and you too "can be blamed." a "revolutionary" can wind up "reaping the whirlwind" as much as "seeing the difference between right and wrong and wanting to do something about it" and those of us who stand idly by as witnesses (and i count myself as one of those i guess) can end up being run over by the "tank treads of history." that's my reading of the first half of the twentieth century at least. I find it hard to believe anyone would actually "choose" that...time...but it has been said "after World War I World War II was inevitable." Again "I will be watching what happens between China and Japan very closely." We can always go back to talking about Cyprus again too. We can of course talk peace as well...break bread "and mean it." tough sell of course..."meaning peace." the only thing imminent I see of course is "the market opens 9:30 AM, Monday. November 18th." let's hope for a good jobs number, etc.

No, but the inconvient truth I suspect will shock Gen Y. Will it be as big as the shock as Watergate ? Likely. Will it be a media sensationalized event that becomes a pop-art reference point ? Unlikely.

What is interesting is that the issues of Obama's grey foreign policy keeps resurfacing. Be they fabricated CBS correspondence or redacted emails, there is something very damning at the heart of the embassay scandal. When Johnny5 realizes the apps he coded for free Cherrios were being used to monitor Libian protesters thanks to Google's tech exchange policy via the state department, the whole narrative of a tech driven progressive economy will likely change.

Remember how everyone was told to work in aerospace and mechanical engineering before 1970 ? Remember what happened to the whole "new world" narrative after the first Napalm footage came back from Vietnam ? Same shit, now with clicks and worms.

Remember, the DNC can do no wrong with their core Fem/Liberalist vote, until it reaches the uncannay valley of politics. This is the same scenario pre-Nixon when the RNC was seen as the party of Black liberty and social justice since Lincon vs. the Whigs. All it required was one tiney leak, and the whole pivot changed for another 30+ years.

I suspect this fact alone keeps Barry and Hillary awake at night. Should a congressional inquiry start pulling at the thread of the AHA's website contractor oversight, I suspect it will open a larger inquiry into how personal relationship patronage has tripled in the past 7-years. All it would take is a simple question as to how and who enabled Gore's lobby for Solar industry recognition at the DOE and the Littorial combat scandal circa 2008. How deep that rabbit hole goes would be the next Pulitzer Prize winning expose.

Yes, they ARE todies. The BHO administration is one of the most media-heavy administrations in recorded history. Everyone from CBS's sister, Anna Wintour to Jay Carney is locked up tight on the take. 1 out of 15 registered journalists have or their boss has worked for BHO in policy, bundling or direct employment in the last 8-years. Can you imagine if this was with the Chemical or Manf. industry ? People would be writing periodicals to keep track of the editorials.

I suspect the Pulitzer will not come from the media establishment, for the same reason Contra was not leaked by a GMBH company man. We already saw when Bloomberg media axed their 2-year case on cronyism in the Chinese politburo (ie. everyone ex-Bo Laili was on the take with US interests) the story's key points started surfacing into the media, ie. the JPM tidbit.

NYT has already seen 4 of their 10 department rising stars quit in the last 5 months for new publications where they can work as Annon's.

Nothing would make me happier than to see ZH drop a story that causes they key actors to pull a Marc Rich. A 30 year "book tour".

I found the fight between Politico versus the NYT re their respective brain drains to be very amusing. Howdy FWD.

What is amazing, is there is not one single voice that is stupid enough, or willingly here to show just how stupid they are, defending this liars rancid behavior pattern. This is a life long act, a well learned ACT that has fooled many a naive lazy soul that refuse to wake up, or do some real truth seeking to enlighten themselves. They are hopelessly lazy, and too stooopid to learn at this time. He is not even a politician, he is an actor!

Notice the gate is open, and the Hierophant's hand extended. In the greater view, everybody of the true light and real love that drives all wheels must show great compassion for these little pointed heads that are just simpleton minions, and slave flunkies to the god-money. It is not their fault because for many, it is all they were taught. Take the Actor in Chief for instance. He was only taught to be an actor, and not to be cautious as he pretends. Can you say, the great pretender?

Post-birth abortions, aka assassination (synonyms: murder, killing, slaughter, homicide).

[ And there is a hint of social engineering... some dictionaries and wikipedia restrict assassination to "important" figures, suggesting a mass of unimportant, disposable ones. ]

In the specific case: infanticide; the crime of killing a child within a year of birth. the practice in some societies of killing unwanted children soon after birth.

[ another hint, it is acceptable in some societies... so let's make ours one ]

[ will they also clang the small bones to hear what is the next order? of course, it is acceptable in some circles ]
