WTF Chart Of The Day: Hope(less)-er
Since expectations of Q3's GDP growth began to get ratcheted lower with reality (in March), 'economists' have banked on Q4's fiscally-dragless-renaissance to fill the wedge between equity prices and fundamentals. That 'hope' has been dashed (once again) on the shores of QE insanity as Q4 2013 expectations have collapsed 30% in 2 months to only 1.8%... but 'hope' and 'faith' remain as Q1 2014 will save the day. Of course, all this is magically achievable - like this.

Until they run out of paper????
The Obungler Economy!
Say, haven't I seen this somewhere before?
Like every year end since 2007?
I thought Black Friday was a US date? WalMart has expanded to Africa, too?
And absolutely no one, not a single bull or bear, expects a recession.
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Fbx7RjwsQtM/UWHDV64zUTI/AAAAAAAAG74/09ctt3TGgF...
Recession would be an improvement.
Toilet paper ? Same diff...I suppose.
There won't be a recession as long as, in just under 36 hours, we have shopping like this going on...

Warning - view at your own peril. You won't be able to watch this and not be depressed.
Last year just for shits and grins Mrs K and Favorite Numblah One son went to Wal-Mart for the Black whatever Xmas shopping midnight opening.
They were catatonic next morning and said it was every bit like the YouTube stuff.
Depressing they said...
Mr K stayed home reading a good book, BTW.
If I'd gone all I'd have wanted anyhow was a CokeaCola Slurpee...
I drop in every now and then for grease for my tractor. Yeah, I get all excited about it!
You're right I was depressed after watching.
Damn fat assed retards ruined a good Black Friday store rush into Targets.
Must be all the chemtrail spraying causing people to go Full Retard.
Can you see the dilema here?
There's TPTB on one side and on the other...
I'm afraid that the "as good as it gets" days have peaked.
That's excatly how the Globalists want it. 3rd world population everywhere. Mission almost accomplished.
One cannot say, they have not been successful.
Hope is not a plan.
Hope is when you have no plan.
That's actually quite profound.
Best definition I'd ever encountered was from Derrick Jensen. He and an audience once defined it as:
"Hope is a longing for a future condition over which you have no agency."
One cannot "plan" under such situations. Jensen equated it to flying, saying that he hoped the plane wouldn't crash. But on the other side he stated that "he didn't HOPE to eat," rather, he "WOULD eat."
"Hope is the dream of the waking man"........Diogenes?
"Hope clouds observation" - from the book Dune. Relying on hope means that you will miss what is actually happening right in front of you. Seems like that is a favorite passtime of the Sheeple in the US right now.
Confidence is high for those spending other people's money. The rest of us, not so much.
GDP doesn't matter when we live in a stock market universe
I love happy endings!
It looks like they got the hope and change thingy right.
at least next year will be better....until it gets here...
Tomorrow, tomorrow...
GDP. Number of Angels that can fit on the head of a pin. Number of continents. Number of seas. ... all useless numbers.
No doubt, moar ZIRP and QE will do trick. The beatings will continue untill moral improves.
