This video was pretty funny and well done considering the quick turnaround time.
Bezos should rethink his plan
Reflect on the nature of man
With drones in the air
And guns everywhere
They'll target his new flying can
Doubleplusgood, knuks.
I am just waiting for these drones to crash into buildings, fences, trees, bridges and etc. This is just a publicity stunt. Good one though.
the cross-dressing man at 1:05... does he not resemble a leader of a certain 'exceptional' country ?
Killer Toys by Bezos.
Why the HELL not?
YEEEEEE HAWWW!!!
A Redneck dream come true. Can you imagine the drone making a delivery in the trailer park?????ROFL!
Sit out on the porch,a little Mr Jack Daniels,,,and a lot of buckshot....
Derp,this is just to good!
The Corporate Drones will have Gov Drones flying support at 100,000 feet. You shoot the delivery drone, Reaper shoots you.
After 10+ years of watching AMZN defy gravity with mind-blowing P/E ratios, I never thought I'd be saying it, but I really want to short AMZN right now. If this drone crap doesn't call a top in the stock, I shouldn't be investing.
Jeff was a stange looking guy
who dreamed a package could fly
with Industrial Light
his Magic took flight
who said the bald could not spy
Drone hunting could be the next big thing, why hunt deer or geese when you can shot down styrofoam coolers with Omaha steaks in them.
Could be fun?
They usually are...and maybe not to flattering of the western way of life. There´s been a slew of them.
That was classic -Thx
Ain't that America!...
Wake up people. Bezos is NWO and a friend of O. This silly delivery scheme is to put a cute face on drones. The powers that be know we hate those ****ing things even though you know who loves murdering innocents with drones using SkyNet.
This is total propaganda BS. Bezos may try it but with govt money he can waste $100 million because fellow tribe member Yellen will print him more.
Oh and for any of the libturds still on ZH - here is your Pavlovian response - Koch Brothers.
Re: The powers that be know we hate
When have TPTB cared what the dumbasses thinks? If "we" couldn't stop Big-MIC and Big-PoliceState "we" sure ain't gonna stop private drone.
Knukles, great variation of what was my Dad's favorite joke. Made my morning.
Good thing we can't up arrow this.
Yes, WTF, have the machines become sentient and no longer amused by our musings?
Where's John Connor when you need him....
What if the drones became sentient and they actually go after all the NWO scum and help the people because like us they were kept as slaves?
Down-arrowed for cr@ppy oversized picture.
Down arrowed because done intentionally.
Just ignore the scum, Sir.
Down-arrowed for being too much of a pussy to write 'crappy'
I think that is his Hooters Handle.
Up-arrowed because I don't like it when down-arrows outscore......
Down arrowed to tip the balance...
I think this is all propaganda BS by a regime company. It is exactly what William B said a long time ago with his cute Dronie pictures.
They know we hate drones and they want the public to think they have some beneficial use besides MURDER by SkyNet as O goes through his deathpool list.
We all love Dronie and hate the William B pepper spray thug - who recently retired on disability with his golden Calif pension.
Just another attempt at social conditioning. I don't expect this turd to stick to the wall.
"Little Johnnie's teacher asked him how his weekend was.
"Horribly, Obamacare hit my Dad in the ass," he said.
She said, "Rectum."
"Wrecked him?" Johnnie said. "Damn near killed him!" "
Funny anecdote, Knucs' - but less funny by far than the Video ...
Shoulda had notice up prior to viewing - No Liquids -
Tylers need to replace a bite of my luncheon sandwitch as well.
whoo hoo, the future is here. More jobs in the making, flying drones. Nothing useful needed, all about shopping and getting delivered under 30 minutes or less. Next GPS coordinates to your IPHONE so that you don't waste a single minute for the crap you ordered.
Skynet bitchez, A more banal version.
I will have drones deliver thanksgiving dinner to the morons waiting in line at Walmart next year. Dinner will cost $250 but if they order within the next 10 minutes, they can have it for 60% off. Which idiot won't pay $100 for a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, a meal for 2, when it's 60% off and delivered directly to their fat faces?
Here's Who Will Make A Ton Of Money Along With Blackstone When Hilton Hotels Goes Public
Read more: http://www.businessinsider.com/hilton-hotels-to-ipo-2013-12#ixzz2mKzU1CLg
Along with Blackstone?
If you look at the numbers, Blackstone is well in the hole:
"That means, more than anything, a major pay day for private equity firm Blackstone.
Blackstone bought 81.5% of Hilton in a $26 billion deal back in 2007.
Read more: http://www.businessinsider.com/hilton-hotels-to-ipo-2013-12#ixzz2mMi9WbYf" </a> "If the stock price settles on a midpoint of $19.50 a share, Hilton will be worth $19.2 billion with Blackstone's 76.2% stake valued at $14.6 billion. Blackstone does not plan on selling any of its stake. Read more: http://www.businessinsider.com/hilton-hotels-to-ipo-2013-12#ixzz2mMiNTEqk" Buy @$26B , Sell @ $14 B ain't a gain. Dunno who the dumbfuck who wrote the article is but $19.50 is not the midpoint of $18-20 either. The fact that they are losing less than they would have done had they sold at the bottom hardly seems news to me.Obama is a drone.
We're a nation of drones.
and attempting to turn the entire population of the world into drones via war.

More CPA's needed and more codes needed to baffle everyone with bullshit
I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that this project is dead before it gets off the ground.
is ACA Dead? Not, so this will plogh thru. Bezos is well connected, nothing like money can buy some whores in DC to suck on Bezos dick
I agree, but the video was very funny.
Interesting timing---Wage Strikes Planned at Fast-Food Outlets

When their employers go bankrupt and shut-up shop I'm sure they'll be feeling well righteous.
Replace the workers with a vending machine and the delivery drivers with drones. The ex-employees will then get Gov benefits to stay at home and not work.
Amazon knows there is no such thing as bad publicity
Rise of the Machines.

Unless someone scrabbles together a few bucks for infrastructure it's more likely to be The Rise of the Latrines.
Borrow money with no hope of paying it back so that you can buy things made by automation and delivered by drones. Only a sick madman would consider such a thing.
The Amish are laughing
Why The Future Doesn't Need Ushttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Why_The_Future_Doesn't_Need_Us
If ones carries the current trend of MMRPGs and technology to a high probability conclusion we could see a future where we emerse ourselves in a 3D simulation that we would consider the real world.... and when the technology advances far enough in that world, they would do the same ... and on and on it goes.
The question is though: Who would be the players and who would be the NPCs? And, could the NPC tell that they are not players or that there is a difference between them and the real players? To make it realistic, one would think not.
And what exactly is "The Word" ... is it the programming code that made the world? Odd how technology immitates life, no?
Prof. Bostrom (Oxford) has views on this matter. Pretty convincing ones too. http://www.simulation-argument.com/
As have many others.
Say what you want but I think the decision to have children at this point in time, in this proto-Soylent Green, proto-Skynet world is a really bad idea. That is if you care anything about them. Not that it will matter when China and India are popping them out like rabbits and will soon have between them over half the world's population. But, if you want your child competing with kids from an assembly line slave state then go ahead and squeeze one out. If you care about their suffering, humiliation and anguish however, wear a condom.
Family of 6, gonna run the show in a few years. Me? I'll be kicking back with a cold one, fishing for brook trout.
I detest your nature sir. It is certainly a vile future we have been designing for our offspring, but to not create life when given the ability to do so and do so responsibly is a dereliction of duty. Perhaps high praise instead for those who choose to have children and then follow the ardous path of raising an awake intelligent healthy confident critically thinking child with a high potential to be a positive force in the future. Its a good thing we all dont subscribe to your notion of self absorbed and brazen cowardice disguised as righteous wit.
Re: intelligent healthy confident
Except for the 50% who aren't.
Oh well, the pathological optimists & pathological pessimists never figure out that nobody is "thinking" when it it comes to reproducing, it's all just Bling for the DNA.
If somebody criticizes you for the wrong reason or with faulty logic there's no need to be angry with them or strike back because they are acting with false views and with wrong thought. If OTOH someone criticizes you justly and they are in the right and you are in the wrong, there still is no reason to be angry with them because they are helping you to see the error of your ways and you are the wiser for heeding their criticism. You fall into one of these two categories. Guess which it is.
So other than playing Captain Obvious and sympathizing with the 'Woe is Me' crowd, what exactly is your contribution to society, or are you just in this for yourself?
Amen. Raising awesome children into awesome adults is a reward and challenge unto itself.
For every 10 loser defeatists out there, I would place my bets with a self-sufficient kid raised on hard work and strong family values to survive whatever's coming and help rebuild this country than some ritalin-fueled, MTV-brainwashed, videogame-addicted Generation XYZ narcissist every single time. Farm kids, small-town kids, kids who know what a 'dirt clod fight' is. Kids that can clean a deer, tie down a pickup load, and know the value of patience, deferred gratitude, and hard work. These are the kind of kids I'm trying to raise.
And I have six of them.
Do I have any regrets bringing any of them into this world? Not a single damn one.
But, if you want your child competing with kids from an assembly line slave state then go ahead and squeeze one out. I
Right. Because the only employment possibilities in the future will be assembly-line work.
Erm... tell me which is more likely to still be around in the coming age of robots... elctricians/engineers/progarmmers/artists/financial advisers/designers/chefs/dancers/musicians... or assembly-line workers?
If you're an assembly-line worker, then, yes, perhaps you should think thrice before you 'squeeze one out' to follow in your unskilled footsteps.
Sadly by your logic, your parents should have worn a condom also, and not given you a chance at life, what ever that life may bring. Your argument is much too simplistic and in my opinion misguided and confused. If your answer to the world's problems is to forgo procreation, thinking you've done some soul a favor, you've abandoned all chance of success for future generations. It is of course the path of least friction for you maybe, but to claim yourself a precog into what life your children may or may not have is the height of arrogance and a complete abrogation of preservation of your values into the future, making your negativity self-fulfilling. Peace.
Keep the sheeples occupied

New NSA consulting fee will go straight to the top and bottom lines.
Bezos is correct in stating, " Its going to be alot of fun". Boy, will those very words haunt him.
They should haunt him if he spelled "alot" as one word.
he used up his allotment of spelling errors for the day

Good taste of what they think of stupid fat pizza-eating 'merkins.
Is that Obama posing in front of a mirror?
I knew it!
Everyone knows it ... and yet, things are still the way they are.
They'll make super targets for gun practice :-)
I wonder what happens when you find a crashed Amazon drone and a package with an address on it. Whose property is it? Knowing our lawmakers you will have to mail everything back to Amazon..at your expense.
No, no, no,
Know - Everything will go to Humland Insecurity - assuredly it is somewhere in already-passed legislation.
Once again, thanks to Bush the Lesser and Rove the Shootist.
Taiwan still thinks it's funny..until China finally invades.
Well, as mom always said: It's all funny until a drone pokes out yer eye.
Drones are the opposite scaling for the urban gourmand; they are the best for the bush.
Amazon never stops dreaming, until the river gets too polluted to succeed. Privacy issues and rights he doesn't get, like he won't believe he's the Jetson's.

That's wonderful. What KaLi needs is leaders who understand bidness and will run the government like ... wait a second, is that the correct bullshit? ....
Oh wait, that was what's-her-name. Ok, Ok, ...
That's wonderful. What KaLi needs is leaders who understand money and will run the government like a bank. Wait as second, is taht the correct bullshit? ...?
who is this kash n' kari guy, his pic looks a little... psychotic... in that article.
don't worry about bezos, he got plenty
This would only work for people who order small things and live within 15 minutes of an Amazon warehouse.
That's probably what somebody told the Wright brothers.
Amazon warehouses ... and the Wright brothers. WAT?
That makes a whole bunch of no sense.
The batteries on those things last about 30 minutes.
Expect more distribution centers . More jobs in the making and along with that more metrics
The Metrics in the AMZN world
Live or Die
82% of Americans live in big cities or their suburbs. That's 260 million of them. You can take virtually the whole area from the Mississippi to the WA/OR/CA borders, and outside of the major cities, it's practically empty.
AMZN can probably end up buying or renting space in the USPS postal outlets, which seem to be everywhere, and which, by all acounts, are going to be empty soon.
I say this drone idea is part of a joint marketing scheme to make Google Glass look good by comparison.
Nonono ... joints can only be marketed in Colorado and Washington state, right now. Legally, at any rate.
can I buy a shot gun and shells.... PULL!
1) Go purchase (or borrow) shotgun and one box #2 shot high-brass ammo.
2) Order several cases of shotgun shells from Amazon.
3) Enjoy.
I think this thing is great. Probably a waste of money. But I don't know why blood transfusions or organs aren't delivered in this method.
If the military industrial complex hadn't been wasting all of the people developing bombs, they could be making drones to save lives.
Certainly a pizza can be delivered like this. And the pizza delivery guy was probably going to get baked and play video games anyway.
HILARIOUS! I love how the media is working this and the people too. First off, this ain't going to happen. Battery technology isn't there yet, tops you get a 30 minute flight out of one of these things. Second, weather is an issue...if it's raining, no delivery, if the wind is blowing, no delivery, and if it's cold....good luck. Lastly, they are indeed dangerous. The propellers can cause bleeding and if one of the propellers flies off during flight, that will put a hell of a dent in your car.
And the MOST IMPORTANT aspect: All those motors, servos, flight controllers, propellers, nuts, bolts, cameras, etc...are made in China. So at the VERY best...half the Drone fleet will fly (for a while) and the rest will be in the shop being fixed.
Bottom line, it's a publicity stunt. Nothing more. Looks like it's working pretty good too!
Your comment underlines Freddie's above: Just propaganda to get the sheeple thinking nice things about drones instead of as spying and killing machines.
"Ignorance of the Constitution and 'following orders' is no excuse."
Its Cyber-Monday and Amazon is on front pages around the globe. Real dumb, right?
Great idea. When is it Yellen's turn to announce the money drop by drone? Gotta get the dough to the people, Yellen!
This will never get off the ground (pun) because 3D printers in every home will make the product faster than delivery time.
These drones could start a new version of the "knock out" game.
Will these drones be bombing wedding parties and schools too?!
"Ignorance of the Constitution and "following orders" is no excuse."
