Best And Worst Performing Assets In November

Tyler Durden's picture

The top themes in November, in addition to the continuation of a taperless US equity rally that tracks the Fed's balance sheet with an R-square of 1.000, were the expectation of even more QE out of Japan to be announced some time in April, as well as rumors of fresh QE in Europe (since 5 years after the start of the great monetary experiment the global economy is growing less and less, so more of what has failed so far must be tried). Of course, for that to happen gold and silver had to be pounded some more. Which is why as the chart below shows it is no surprise that the best performing assets in November were the Nikkei and assorted trash equities in Europe, offset by another miserable performance month for gold and silver.

In order for "assets" to have measurable "performance" there must be "markets", and there are not.

Yep and there is the motherfucking GBP/USD on top, as usual, well on it's way to lasting forever, since everything lasts forever now anyway.

Until it doesn't..

They must be filming all the new Sprint commercials there. Either that, or somebody has fucked up big time, because it has been way too quiet over there for almost 90 days now.

BITCOIN 400%

Yes, Bitcoin is up 400% priced in fiat.  But it's still important to remember that one Bitcoin is one Bitcoin, one ounce of silver is one ounce of silver and one ounce of gold is one ounce of gold.

Psychological warfare and fake denominators.

I like Morgan and Peace silver dollars but I don't like how when you buy them they are sold as collectibles and when you go to sell they call them "junk".

And of course none of the rising stock values were at all influenced by CB fiat printing. By the same token ,the prices of PM's were almost entirely affected by short selling manipulation. Conclusion : - the markets are all arse about face.

b-b-b-but Bitcoin is up 400% in the month of November.  Litecoin went from ~3$ to ~35$.

That's right.  But when something doesn't meet their preconceived narrative they will feel free to completely ignore it.

Bitcoin is the most disruptive of all disruptive technologies on steroids and we have not even begun to see the effects of this on markets and the real world yet.

Very excited for the 1 satoshi = 1 cent date of 'Equilibrium"  Have you read about that?

You have not because it doesn't exist and nobody, i mean nobody i know owns bitcoin and it will never be accepted.  Nobody understands it and people, because we are simple, need simple logic.  We like our enslavement and predicatable 2% per year decline.

Bitcoin is an NSA CIA wet dream and you sir are win Shill of the year award.  Now go take your Bitcoin fortune and spend it instead of promoting it.  When Bitcoin is suspended and you have nothing but vaporware, what will you do then?

Digital currency is a pipedream that will never exist because people are not intelligent enough to understand it.  And those that do are 'too smart for their own good' types

I hope you lose everything and your pride - pumping bitcoin only makes it look more and more sketchy... seeing the price action makes me feel really bad for anyone that has used hard earned USD to buy the BTC... nobody is going to get rich quick from it.  If you liked BTC so much, give your BTC away instead of transacting it for USD...

It is not art either... there are plenty of algo's out there and competing currencies and with 3D printing, why not make your own gold bit chip coin with a reader and printer or do you want everything virtual?  Have you ever been hacked?  Grow up please you are a total and complete moron everything i read that you write is like talking to a 3 year old that just discovered how to color with crayons...

I bet you have had no other success in your life and are pinning your hopes and dreams on BTC - guess what you will be sorely disappointed - you and everyone that came with you on the BTC train will come crashing to a halt when the time is right.  You wait and see - BTC is a total and complete hyped up scam... wanna be freedom fighters peer-to-peer - you just fall for all the meme's... I bet they even have a microchip in your head you talking parrot.

you sycophant - socio pathic pumper of fake investment... you are like a parasite on society feeding on it's fears when in reality only you should be feared - anyone taking your advice should fear for their lives and livelihood you shyster, hoodwink con-artist crypto currency wanna be shlock.  Go stick your head in a toilet and flush it.

Mon, 12/02/2013 - 13:14 | 4206841 fonestar

I've already offered you dumb shits a chance to prove NSA envolvement with Bitcoin.  I even offered you a one ounce gold maple if you could prove it (because you would be saving me more money in the long run).  But not a single taker, I wonder why?  So shut up about your fear-based crap where intelligence agencies run every group of computer code geeks on Earth.  Perhaps a little less time spent watching conspiracy videos on YT and you would realize how dumb you sound?

And again, Bitcoin's success does not hinge on your being able to grasp or understand it.  From what I have heard there were still people across North America who refused to believe in powered flight right through the 1920s until the first plane actually landed in their town.  Their stupidity and ignorance did not prevent the planes from becoming airborne.

Mon, 12/02/2013 - 13:48 | 4206942 fonestar

....and at least the people in the 1920s were usually farmers who maybe had a crystal radio set or a telephone line coming into their town.  They had an excuse, you on the other hand....

The tsunami of disruption has not even begun.

I am neutral in regards to BTC, but amazed with the rigidity BTC is viewed.

Neutrality provides objective opportunity.

Neutral objectivity is good.  Nothing wrong with sitting on the sidelines observing, I am sure Aristotle would approve.  I have never advocated people putting any large amount into BTC.  In fact, I've said that you should not invest in something that you do not understand.  So as for their claims I am a shill who exactly am I a shill for?  A global, leaderless anarchist collective?
