Two Injured In Colorado School Shooting, Shooter Deceased - Live Webcast
Update: the shooter, who was a student at the highschool, is reported to have been killed as a result of a self-inflicted shot. Additionally according to the Sheriff, the student was interested in confronting specific teacher in Arapahoe High School
Another day, another school shooting. In a flashback to the Columbine tragedy, moments ago news broke that there were two people injured during an incident at Arapahoe High School in the 2200 block of East Dry Creek Road in Centennial, Colorado. According to Colorado's 9news, Police are calling it an "active shooter situation." No one is in custody at this time. The identity of the victims is not being released at this time. Arapahoe High School is a part of Littleton Public Schools. There are 70 different classrooms in the high school which covers a 254,000-square-foot area. There are 2,229 students that attend the high school. The school was built in 1964.

The Denver Post reported at around 1:00 p.m. local time on Friday afternoon that the Arapahoe County dispatched confirmed that a shooting occurred at the Arapahoe High School.

So you think the government is behind every single mass shooting incident? That they have all these Manchurian Candidates picked out and that there is a team of operatives who go out and identify candidates and then "program" them through subtle psychological conditioning to commit a mass shooting after being triggered to do so?
Does that sound even remotely feasible? We had the Fast & Furious incident and all these new revelations about how the ATF does business. Would it even be possible for this team of operatives to keep a lid on their activities and not end up having a whistleblower come forwards? It seems pretty preposterous to me.
So is it just one operative? One true believer? You have that one person go out and locate potential candidates, then try to agitate them into going crazy, change their meds with placebos, mess with them (put a radio receiver in their head so "god" can talk to them), push them over the edge, then somehow encourage them to obtain a gun or guns and go on a shooting rampage? Is that how it is done?
Nope, I think these things are happening because our culture creates these monsters and we do nothing to prevent it and look the other way as the danger grows out of control. And then the liberals capitalize on whatever outcomes they can.
Their meds aren't changed to placebos. Their meds are the problem. And there is virtually no effort made to publicize that fact and to safely manage patients until the effects of the medications on them are known.
They don't need to all be Manchurian candidates, the government can simply maintain the status quo and let numbers and statistical probabilities deliver the desired body counts, while insulating big pharma from any fallout.
It's not Manchurian programming, it's culture.
You hype kids up on pills, make their parents fight each other, bring in a drug counter culture where it's cool to abuse substances and make poor life choices, and suddenly, oh so suddenly, you have a youth willing to kill his peers.
You don't have to program one kid when the whole rotten system makes it's own bad apples. When those bad apples don't happen fast enough...you can pull a few strings. Broad strings, like mass firings and layoffs in the area, that affect these kids by making them broke, or by causing more fracturing in their families.
On top of that, you don't provide security for these schools, whereas Michelle Obozo's kids are provided SWAT teams at all times. So, the kids in the average school are easy pickings for the disturbed children they create.
Again, you don't have to program one kid when you can program culture.

2229 students is too many. We need more schools in order to achieve smaller class sizes. Of course that would mean more teachers, but this is another area in which I think we, as a society, can improve. Fuck this Common Core shit. We need something better and more educational. In the United States, we have an education crisis. And in solving the education crisis, I think we should be able to find funding for at least twice as many teachers as we have now. We were able to underwrite two simultaneous fucking wars for Christ's sake.
Reduce the number of students in the classroom and school-house, and you decrease the number of targets. Additionally, you increase the quality of the classroom education. It would be a win-win for the kids. A bit more expensive, but I think the benefit is worth the cost.
start home schooling or look into privately run schools. keep these unionized teachers away from our children will be the 1st step toward "exellence in education"

As a Canadian I see what's going on in the US and I joined the NRA 1 week after Sandy Hook for 3 reasons.

Got an automated call from the school district. Now the plan apparently is to send kids home on their regular busses. If students usually walk home the school requests that parents come pick up the kid. Sounds like a genuine first-class government clusterfuck. Still haven't talked to my son, though.
I spoke with my son and he was shaken, but said he had heard that the shooter was upset over being demoted on the debate team, the coach of which was the main target. He appears to know the girl that was seriously injured and said one other student was slightly wounded.
This is hearsay as he did not witness any of the events.
I'm tempted to say that this appears to be a senseless incident that resulted in the serious injury of one young person and the untimely death of another. but can't help but wonder if there may not be some pharmacological connection. The good wishes (or prayers if you are so inclined) of good-willed people everywhere can't hurt. Please grant every person every where the fortitude to withstand violence, the grace to forgive trespasses and the ability to thrive in spite of supression.
