Europe Officially Loses Fight For Ukraine, Russia Wins

Tyler Durden's picture

Over the past month, an interesting conflict emerged between Putin's Russia and, well, some unelected person's Europe. The conflict was over who would be the Ukraine's big brother, and strategic ally for the future, and whether the Ukraine would snub Europe, i.e. the West, and reorient to its Soviet Union roots, by aligning with Russia. Moments ago, the fight over Ukraine ended. Russia won, and not only pledged $15 billion in future Ukraine investments, but de facto became the lender of last resort for the troubled nation.

Notably, this is the second major geopolitical gambit that Europe has lost this year: first the Syrian escapade, where it tried aggressively to replace Gazprom with Qatar (and failed), and now it has lost Europe's "bread basket."

Ukraine bonds welcomed the clarity, and that the nation is now officially once again under Russia's sphere of influence:

And now, with Ukraine firmly in the pocket of Russia, it remains to be seen how the local opposition and the pro-European protesters will react. They will hardly be enthused.

13" is more than 7 standard deviations above the mean

Over 8" is more than 2 standard deviations -- 2 standard deviations above average is 7.7" -- above the normal average size (aka, less than ~5% of adult male population would even have 8", and less than ~1-2% would be over 8", and only 0.15% [15/10,000] men would have a penis longer than 8.8"

Knowing stats helps to know when women lie. When women talk to each other, they tend to exaggerate the size of other guys they've been with.

The more a woman is attracted to a man, the longer his penis is perceived to be (she thinks it is over 8", but it is an average 5.5").

Vaginal orgasms are NOT penis size dependent. If a woman is vaginally orgasmic, a ~3" finger will do it (it will even reach deeper that the "G-spot" for most women). If a woman is NOT vaginally orgasmic (only ~30% of women have vaginal orgasms during intercourse, according to The Hite Report; and two European studies), it does not matter how big or small the thing is. The only time when it might matter is for psychological reasons (low self-esteem and/or low intellect characteristic of "size queens")

Cult_of_Reason's picture

It depends on what you mean by "matter". Also, the key question is she vaginally orgasmic?

Girth "matters" (but there is a way around this too, by pressing downward and producing the same feeling) for feeling of fullness (many women like the feeling of fullness inside them), but it will not make a lot of difference for having a vaginal orgasm for majority of women (as only ~30% of women can have vaginal orgasms). The outer 1/3 part of the vagina has the majority of vaginal sensory pleasure nerve endings (most sensitive part); therefore, stimulation of this outer 1/3 area (e.g. girth or move around more using wider strokes) would produce the most pleasure and not so much the stimulation of relatively insensitive inner 1/3 cervical part of the vagina with deep penetration (long penis).

An average normal vagina size is 3-4", and 5-6" when a woman is aroused (even a normal average size 5.5" long penis could be hitting the cervix and causing pain for majority of normal woman [most women do not like when you hit their cervix because it is painful]).

As a native Ukranian (long a US citizen) this is nothing short of a disaster and the ironic thing is that the majority of  ethnic Russians did not want to "join" the Russian empire again.  Russia seems gripped with a historical contempt for individual freedom, eonomic freedom, social freedom, innovation or progress.  Her oil and gas will run dry as her population shrinks below Turkey's.  This will hopefully affect her biggest industry - arms exporting.  RIA reports that she will surpass the US this year despite a tiny GDP. What has Europe and America done since the end of the cold war? Nothing really...Squandered time and resources. Russia and China have clawed their way to where they are now. Sure America and Europe are still much more wealthy and the standard of living is definitely superior yet that is the point. They are obese and lazy while Russia and China are rabid and starving. Kinda like in Rocky III when Mr. T has nothing to lose and everything to gain while Stallone's luxurious surroundings made him forget who he really was. America just needs a training montage. Europe is old and corrupt, and still somehow under the sway of the old aristocracy and royalty. You can tell by the way they still defer and lionize the old ruling families, allowing them to retain ostensibly meaningless hereditary titles. They still mostly marry amongst themselves. Russian and China rightly killed theirs off root and branch to make way for the new. The US, oddly, seems to be in the process of creating royals. The rest of us are just plain-belly sneetches without stars upon thars.

I have to note that you are referring to a very tiny portion of the old aristocracy, the one that still has some vestigial power. the way bigger rest lead quite ordinary lifes, and many have probably more financial troubles than quite a lot of ZHer

further, as far as I know the Founding Fathers debated for quite a while if the new republic would not be better served by an hereditary or open aristocracy. I think they debated the Venetian nobility system too, but of course Shakespeare's Othello is bad PR for that

and no, knowing your ancestors is not the same as marrying "among themselves". in fact, knowing precisisly if a couple shares a great-great-grandfather is actually much, much safer, from a genetic point of view, than the situation many in smaller cities and villages have

old, yes. corrupt? I find with astonishment this general US-ZH notion that the rest of the world can't be less corrupt than...

Princes, Grand Dukes and Grand Dutchesses abound. Apparently, they are nurturing a delusion that they will be invited back. Not that there isn't precendence for that, but after nearly 100 years? Personally, I think the only way they are going to get back into the Winter Palace is as a tourist, but I suspect that in another 100 years they will still be nurturing that delusion and still consider themselves entitled. Whoever wins, Ukraine loses. EU puppet Timoshenko or Russian puppet Yanukovych? Both don't give a rat's ass about the people.

The country itself is a buffer zone between the East and the West with no economic strength whatsoever. Either they move gas out of Russia, hoping to collect some tax and siphon a few cubic meters, or they build Nato bases, radar stations and deploy anti-missile defenses hoping to collect rent. The loss is greater than the gain due to sanctions coming from whichever neighbor feels disadvantaged.

Whoever dominates the political regime pays for the riot police. The other side organizes protests and takes care of anti-government propaganda. Doesn't even matter which is which.

The end result is that the people starve and get the shit kicked out of them without moving an inch from where they've started.

Did he really say that?   When McCain showed up it would be like having the devil show up.

Obama's biggest and earlier supporter was Lester Crown who made General Dynamics (huge defense contractor).  The Crowns are in Chicago.  One of the biggest contractors in Arizona is General Dynamics.

Crown owns Obama, McCain and Jeff Flake.   McCain's family of Admiral fathera dn grandfather has been selling out America to MIC and the NWO for decades.  Pappy Admiral McCain sold out the sailors of the USS Liberty to Israel.

McCain is as evil as Obama is.  Friend of Al Qeada, Qatar and Saudi Arabia as well.  Human POS.

I can laud Vlad all you'd like for his strategic gumption, and be amused by the bony irony of his most-interesting-KGB-comrade-in-the-world PR campaign, but one thing I can't do is rejoice in Vlad's victories.  I hold Vlad in the same esteem as a man-eating tiger.  Admiration is an elaboration of filial fear.  This is not a man who trifles nor should be trifled with.  He - and whatever is the name of the real party of bosses he presides over - is schooling the west in resource management.  How does Vlad feel about Chinese aggression?  No one knows.  How does Vlad feel about African natural resources?  No one knows.  He is just waiting at the fringes of the frenzy for his opportunities.  I would admire the man if I didn't fear him.

When Vlad's victories (or anyone else's for that matter) come at the expense of the worst form of garbage on the planet, all of us can feel free to rejoice.

Never said he was perfect. But judge Putin objectively on the same scale you'd use for any other influential global figure, and he'd not rank anywhere near the worst. Those positions are locked up by global crime syndicate kingppins and their gentile whoreboys, sometimes referred to as presidents, prime ministers and EU leaders.

Don't know how Vlad feels about African resources? Me neither, but to illustrate the point above, here's West's outlook: let's loot 'em and buy off or murder anyone who gets in the way!

Leolom Tickach = Always Take!! (Jewish Proverb)
Brings to mind some famous words of one of Europe's Greatest Statesmen:

FREDERICK THE GREAT OF PRUSSIA wrote in his Testament politique that: We have too many Jews in the towns. As soon as you get away from the frontier, the Jews become a disadvantage, they form cliques, they deal in contraband and get up to all manner of rascally tricks which are detrimental to Christian burghers and merchants. I have never persecuted anyone from this or any other sect; I think, however, it would be prudent to pay attention, so that their numbers do not increase.....

We sent our best rabble-rouser, McCain, and yet Putin wins?

Voltairenet.org covers this issue well:

Ukraine: NATO’s Eastern Prize

by Wayne Madsen

Ever since the democracy manipulation efforts of international hedge fund brigand George Soros were joined with the artificial street revolution tactics of CIA tactician Gene Sharp to form the core strategy of the U.S. neo-conservative goal of imposing a «New American Century» on the entire world, Ukraine has served as the prize of America’s interventionist foreign policy. And the neocons are still alive and active as ever inside Secretary of State John Kerry’s State Department.

In the wake of what has been called the «Orange Revolution II» [1] in Ukraine, Kerry’s Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Victoria Nuland, who previously served as Hillary Clinton’s State Department mouthpiece, threatened sanctions against Ukraine’s government led by President Viktor Yanukovych. Gazing over protesters in central Kyiv from his hotel window, Arizona’s fanatical Republican Senator John McCain was licking his chops over the prospect of an anti-Russian Ukraine coming into being. McCain is a Cold War throwback and someone who remains mentally-unbalanced between flashbacks from a prisoner of war cell in Hanoi and to present-day reality.

Ukraine, which resisted efforts by the European Union to integrate it into Europe’s banker-led federation of austerity and poverty, came into the EU’s cross hairs after it abandoned an «Association Agreement» pact with the EU. Instead, Kyiv opted for a more lucrative economic union with Russia. That move triggered off a mass street uprising in Kyiv’s Maidan (Independence) Square that demanded the resignation of Ukraine’s democratically-elected President and government.

STEINMEIER: EU MAY HAVE UNDERESTIMATED RUSSIA DETERMINATION

The truth is, the IMF underestimated Russia’s determination. Because when it comes to capturing a whole people and putting them under the hammer of the international bankers (like Greece), the people try every way they can to wriggle free. At least working with Russia will give the Ukrainian people a chance for independence eventually.

With the IMF, as many have learned, there is no return.

This hammer lock can easily be recognized in the United States this week where six Republican Senators —Hatch, McCain, Flake, Burr, Collins and Johnson— have agreed to vote with the Democrats to cut off debate on the sell-out budget bill which passed the House earlier.

Orin Hatch, John McCain and others dramatically represent the surrender of Republicans to the international bankers; for it is the bankers and their special corporate lobbyists who control Establishment Republicans and create the one-party system in Washington, DC.

Hard to believe John McCain will be back for the cutoff debate vote since he only recently represented the international bankers on the streets of Kiev. When it comes to delivering the goods, this turncoat (and we don’t just mean in civilian life) is perhaps America’s greatest example of complete corruption.

Oh, wait. We forgot Senator Orin Hatch who has delivered (from his position on the Senate Judiciary Committee) several of the key Supreme Court justice positions who consistently vote against free enterprise America .  And lest we forget, Hatch, McCain and others are the men who have delivered Obamacare, fully funded in the surrender bill now before the Senate.

Between a rock and a hard place.

The incumbent president of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich was booted out in 2004 after the Orange revolution. Which reminds me of this comment within text of the  article by Terry Hallman, originally posted in 2005, related to the then  Ukraine Prime Minister , after the Orange revolution.

quote : Terry Hallman: Really Betraying a Revolution. 2005-05-27

What economic hit men will surely try to do is persuade Ukraine to give up lucrative state assets to private buyers – and thus lose most of that revenue base – in exchange for the “privilege” of borrowing billions of dollars and going into debt to Western governments, particularly the US.  That’s the deal, and that is what and all is going on with most of this noise against Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko at this point in time.  God forbid that she have the courage to do the right things for Ukraine.  It is simply not done in many countries, including the US, which will likely be one of the main sources of vitriol against her in coming weeks and months unless her government relents on strong, progressive social policy and gives in to demands to give up lucrative state enterprises.

Putin doesn't like to sit still does he? unlike our TOTUS who is only interested in dominating the golf course, Vlad obviously has much larger ambitions. He locked down the Ukraine, punked the west in the med over Syria, is in the process of essentially militarily conquering the Arctic, parked nukes right on the Polish border with the expressed purpose of knocking out NATO missile defense systems and gave asylum to Eward Snowden simply to hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth from Washington which is apparently music to his ears cause he has been hearing a lot of it this year.

and downtime? he doesn't go out and conquer 18 holes or invade Marthas Vineyard to the tune of 10 million in taxpayer money, no he sits in front of a TV camera for hours on end answering questions from the serfs without a teleprompter. of course on those rare moments when the planet earth is to quiet for is liking and therefor not providing sufficient stimulation, he buzzes Canada with Strategic nuclear bombers or Japan and China with fighter jets at the same time.
