Japanese Consumer Sentiment Slumps - Biggest 6-Month Drop Since 2007

Japanese consumer sentiment tumbled once again in the last quarter of 2013. The BoJ survey - released quarterly - showed the second consecutive drop in both current conditions and the outlook. This is the largest two-quarter collapse in the outlook for the Japanese consumer since 2007 as it appears the initial exuberance of Abenomics is collapsing as fast as Abe's approval ratings. We fear, perhaps, this loss of belief (which can surely only set back his hopes for firms to raise wages) is merely stoking his nationalist militarist persuasion - as indicated by his move last night.

This is the lowest print since Abenomics was unveiled...

North America and the Pacific Ocean are going to be bombarded with high level radiation for several decades to come because of this catastrophe.

I mentioned earlier that the Japanese are collectively shitting themselves right now...but I think North America is going to be knee deep in our own pooh the longer this goes on and people continue to wake up to the realization that they're all trapped just as badly as the Japanese within this non-stop flow of deadly radiation. 

What doesn't get us through the Pacific Ocean will get us through the atmosphere and the jet stream bringing everything spewing out of Fukushima right to our doorsteps.

Edit:  the USGS has downgraded the quake to a 5.0 Mag.  Hmmmm...to me, that just says it must be almost a 7.0.  We know they're all lying mother fuckers.
