How Erik Prince, Founder Of Blackwater, Will Help China Subjugate Africa

Tyler Durden's picture

As we previously explained numerous times (here originally and here most recently) Africa is a crucial region in the world...

As Western economies start to regress in earnest following decades of failed and destructive monetary inflation and debt accumulation, as we warned previously, yield-starved investors are allocating real capital to the one industrially untapped continent in the world: Africa. However, we’re not seeing industry moving to Africa to set up shop. Rather, politically-directed capital flowing into the African resources sector is fueling and financing the strongest consumer boom in the world. It’s a vendor financing model for Asia, and it portends a major boom and bust cycle for the African continental economy.

And as the fight begins to accelerate, as Mike Krieger notes, nations will increase their efforts...

Submitted by Mike Krieger of Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

China’s ongoing colonization of Africa represents yet another sad development in the continent’s tragic history. I briefly highlighted this topic once before in December 2012, via a “Guest Post” I suggest reading titled: Africa in the Crosshairs.

Unfortunately, Erik Prince of Blackwater infamy is now coming to town, which can only mean more pain, suffering and servitude for Africa.

From the South China Morning Post:

Shares of DVN Holdings, controlled by Hong Kong businessman Johnson Ko Chun-shun and state-owned Citic Group, surged 7.3 per cent after it appointed Erik Prince – former owner of controversial US security firm Blackwater – as chairman, and granted him more share options.

This is in addition to five-year options granted to him that allowed him to buy 205.1 million shares at 73 HK cents each in late November, as part-payment for a start-up East African aviation and logistics firm injected by Prince into DVN. The two options mean he could own about 23 per cent of DVN.

Prince last November sold to DVN a company that plans to build a pan-Africa provider of aviation, logistics, risk management, security services and exploration support services, needed by many Chinese businesses active in Africa. He received US$3 million plus the first batch of options.

Prince has logistics, aviation, manufacturing, resources and energy business interests in Africa, the Middle East and North America, and is the founder of Frontier Resource Group, a private equity firm active in African aviation, exploration, mining and logistics, DVN said.

He was also the founder of Blackwater, which he sold in 2010 and was renamed Xe Services and then Academi, after four years of federal investigation into allegations of sanctions violations, illegal exports and bribery against the firm and its staff. Blackwater was a security services firm that protected US officials in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The firm subsequently paid US$42 million in fines for hundreds of violations of US export rules, to avoid criminal charges, The New York Times reported.

Just like with the banks, Prince gets to pay a fine and walk free. Get the joke yet?

Subjugate Africa, again? FFS, Africa has been the bitch of the white man for centuries. Nothing to see here, move along.

These guys saw the NWO police state run by Prince and his ilk long before we did.  I'll bet they get a certain satisfaction at us white middle class guys crying foul.

Africa has been everybody's bitch: the white man you speak of, Arabs, Chinese, other Africans. The continent -just like Latin America- has been the victim of its own richness.

Good documentary, but did they really have to go to a third-world country to accomplish their goal?!

I am sure that the criminals of the Dutch government would have participated.

But then there are 546 or so in DC that would have probably done it for less. All the documentarist would have had to do is set up shop on "K" street.

This one time my friend told me that his sister was getting married to a guy named Ray, and he works for Raytheon.

I wonder just how many Rays work at Raytheon...

Who would downvote this pensive post!?!?
....and what about all of the Theon's in the world too!?!?

I have no idea why I got reds - it acutally happened and I was geniunely wondering lol. I can see how some Internet dwellers can see the comment as sarcasm though.

If China moves into a venture with the likes of Erik Prince?...

America be watching your 6 'o clock.

Any Navy Seals worth their salt and that have any ounce of integrity after what this Country has sold out to in the last two decades who had the pleasure of working with this scum should make it their life's ambition to take him out!

And while you are at it -Please don't forget this hero either.  By the way. The hero is the young good looking kid reading to the pus filled sack of Navy shit that tells him he should run for office if he want to "press charges".

Hope you have his guts.

"Any Navy Seals worth their salt and that have any ounce of integrity after what this Country has sold out to in the last two decades..." ... might just decide to leave the Navy and join Prince in more interesting and better paying mercenary operations under the banner of a more solvent country?

Certainly makes a lot more sense than how you ended that sentence.

Son of Captain Nemo's picture

Trust me I have no illusion about the vast majority that serve this Country begging for an honorable discharge and a continued paycheck being there only motivation to do anything when they are told...

The infamous "Osama Bin Laden" cover up should have finished it for the guys that served with the ones that didn't return home.  Or at least as we understand the story?

No. I think the vast majority of them are like Erik Prince and Chris Kyle and that's the problem!

Made to be mercs.

LetThemEatRand's picture

I could be wrong, but I think the reason we did not invade Syria is because Zero and his bosses figured out that they didn't have the military behind them.  The American people were against it, but since when did that stop these fuckers?  The bank bailouts were overwhelmingly opposed by the sheep.  Yes, there is corruption in the ranks especially at the top.  And there are guys who think it's cool to bomb shit and they don't care about much else. But there are a lot of guys who do give a fuck about the oath they swore, and who see what's going on.

The big clue to me this weekend was that Drudge ran a story about the Feds who want to see Snowden dead.  It made it sound like the average guy in the military thinks spying on Americans is okay.  Drudge is a NeoCon, and if he's feeling threatened, that means there's hope.

Son of Captain Nemo's picture

Agreed.  My only comment is that we need more of the ones who "do give a fuck about the oath they swore, and who see what's going on"...  If we had enough of them these covert and overt wars would have ceased by now.

I think the guys who "do give a fuck" in this camp are getting thrown out, and we need to be paying much closer attention to who is replacing them given the significance of their occupations in the military. This should be getting as much press time as the Snowden leaks but -isn't.

This has not been getting nearly enough attention and is too scary for words.

LetThemEatRand's picture

Agreed.  Just like cops, the military is being culled of good guys.

MeBizarro's picture

'Good guys' is a subjective term and yeah I would bet most in the military do want to see action and military engagment especially those trained at the service academies.  What they can't stand is the kind of static action in Afghanistan where they are being used more in a training/police capacity with their hands severely tied on the rules of engagement.

chumbawamba's picture

This has not been getting nearly enough attention and is too scary for words.

Hey, you're supposed to be keeping your eye on The Magic Negro's hand gestures and not what's up his sleeve.  Stop that because you're ruining it for everyone else.  The complete take-over of the military by Obamalackeys is supposed to be secret until it's foisted upon the masses just as they think the military will save them.  It's going to be so deliciously ironic.  And then the rank and file guys in the forces who think they are going to stand up to the brass who are giving unconstitutional orders and will valiantly uphold their oath will find out what this regime has in store for such patriotic heroes.  Their "patriotism" will be corrected pretty quickly or else that grunt will find himself in the brig--or the focus of a firing squad.  Dissent in the ranks shall not be tolerated.  They shall be culled as appropriate.

Don't think they're going to make this easy for you.  You'll need to be on your toes at all times.

I am Chumbawamba.

Son of Captain Nemo's picture

Well said indeed. Thought I'd update my response with the poster child of what happens when you don't tow the party line and follow unlawful orders.

This is the kind of guy you would want to serve under if you were in the military.  Why this story hasn't been followed by the guys in active service and in the national guard after all these years of lies and deceit from the government they serve and take orders from is testament to how truly fucked up the U.S. military is.

If there were any hope and sign that the U.S. military had turned the corner guys like McChrystal would have been cut from crotch to eyeball and hung from a street lamp like a wishbone!

RSloane's picture

The major reason why we didn't invade Syria is that Putin made an international ass out of Obama, which wasn't difficult to do given Kerry as the administration's spokesman and his appeal to authority being youtube. The 'glorious' Syrian rebels Zero supports continue to behead and bomb their way across Syria leaving a path of destruction in their wake that even Zero would be proud of.

Greenskeeper_Carl's picture

The average guy in the military does not think its ok to spy on Americans, does not want to be spied on themselves, and do not want all their text messages to wives and girl friends being stored forever. Trust me.

Arius's picture

and your point is ???

power to the people???

get over it ... it never was and never will be

kchrisc's picture

No disrespect intended, but most of those in the US military--an Unconstitutional body--do not serve "this country."

The country id the American people, the nation is the criminals of DC and all the rest.

The US military serves the interests of the US and DC nation.

If they served the American people, they would resign.

I am an American citizen, not a US subject.

That article fits in with this one about how the puppetmasters are trying to stage a fight between America and Russia.  They are weakening America against the Russians, while hiding Russian strengths.

That being said, America has more than enough corrupt thugs for a dirty, house-to-house civil war.  The fighting will be mainly veterans and militias vs. cops, alphabet agency death squads, and mercenaries (i.e. Blackwater, Russians, mysterious snipers and drone jockeys).  The side which is perceived as defending themselves against atrocities is favored to win.  The side with the stronger currency is favored to win.  For both reasons, the sons of liberty should calm their itchy trigger fingers.  Now is the time to wait, watch, prepare, educate, gather allies.  I think that under the right circumstances ~80% of the country could secede, followed by NY and DC being sacked by barbarians.  Doubt it will be quick enough to stop the dual citizens from escaping with the last of the loot but one can dream...

LetThemEatRand's picture

Both countries (U.S. and Russia) enslave their populations under the guise of protecting them.    Russia and the U.S both seem to be the target of terrorists (funded by Saudi Arabia and other oil interests), requiring massive police force even after the Cold War is over.  How convenient.

Um, 3rd world countries? Dictatorship, Democracy, or Republic? Um, is the Constitution of the United States an anomaly or the norm? Um, instead of food or weapons, drop the Dec of Indy and the Constitution on them? Um, do individual rights pertain to all persons regardless of their location? Um, while the United States is not obligated, would it have the moral right to Constitutional Imperialism across the universe? You know, since dictators violate the rights of all individuals. North Korea? Bye bye Uncle and the world turns their head? Cowards!

If you want to acquire a nation do the following:

1) Start buying their commodities for lots of money.  They are thrilled with their new found riches.

2) Stockpile these commodities at home.

3) Tell the country you want lots and lots more.  They respond that they don't have the facilities.

4) Lend them billions to build huge facilities.  They do.

5) Drop the commodity prices by dumping your stockpiles on the market.

6) Country loses money and can't afford loan payments.

7) Buy all the facilities and resources for next to nothing.

This is the best comment I have seen on ZH in a long-long time,

Why is that 90% of the comments here come from ZH bots by context, and not real people?

"I was a financial hitman"

But really this story is about some rich Hong Kong guy hiring Blackwater for security,

Can I tell you all something?

In CHINA ( real china, mainland china ) the RICH never leave their fucking house without 'protection' it was this way 30+ years ago.

It's always been this way, the POOR will kill the rich if given a chance, I only wish the USA peasants had the same ball's as chinese peasants.

That a rich guy, hires blackwater to protect his rich chinese ass? Why not blackwater has connections, CIA so obviously this HK guy has some CIA business that he needs done in Africa.

LetThemEatRand's picture

Who the fuck downvotes this?  I'll say that far less than 90% of ZH comments are robots (increasing everyday, but nowhere near that), but otherwise spot on.
