I the Obama, of the People's Democratic Republic of Obama, in order to create a more perfect Obama, establish injustice, domestic intraquility, provide for my defense, promote my general welfare, and secure money you have for myslef and my cronies, because you didn't build that, do ordain this constitution for the People's Democratic Republic of Obama.

Article I:

There shall be a congress whose members shall be selected by me. The congress shall be in session when I declare it to be in session, and not in session when I say so. It shall pass all laws as I instruct it. Should congress pass a law and I sign it, I may change that law or enforce or not enforce that law as I desire. Should congress fail to act, I may pass a law by executive order and change, enforce, or not enforce such orders as I desire.

Article II:

There shall be a president, and I shall be him. The president shall have such powers and priviledges and he so desires.

Article III:

There shall be a Supreme Court, whose members shall be appointed by me. They can pronounce anything they like, as I shall ignore everything they do if it pleases me.

Bill of My Rights:

1. I shall respect no religion, and prohibit the free exercise thereof as I desire. I may abridge the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

2. A well regulated Militia, being a threat to my security and power, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be tolerated.

5. Any person may be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; and shall have private property taken for my use, without just compensation, as I deem, because you didn't build that.

6. In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall not enjoy the right to a speedy or public trial, and may be deatined indefinitely without trial if I deem them to be a terrorist or other malcontent.

7. In suits at common law, I may deem my agencies and representatives, and I myself, immune from all actions and ruling, nor due we need to respond to supeona or court order of any kind.

8. Excessive bail shall required if I deem it so, as well as excessive fines imposed, and cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

9. The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to apply to any person other than myself.

10. The powers not delegated to me, nor prohibited by me, are reserved to me.

Sorry, but I don't deserve this government. I never voted for any of it. I am taxed without representation. My liberties being stripped from me at every turn. I am being spied upon without my consent. My choice of weapon is modified against my wishes because of some politician deems it unsafe though I am an upstanding citizen. My property is not my own because I can't do anything I wish to do on it as well as it being taxed in perpetuity. Government regulation has caused my professional licensure to increase every year. Inflation has eaten away my purchasing power to help those I chose not to help. So what part of this do I take responsibility? Take a guess.

You are my anchor and I can't tell you where I would have been with out your strength of character and patience. Not too many men could have dealt with me as long as you have. I bow down to you in deep love, honor and eminent respect. I am grateful a man of your incredible intelligence, incredible gifts and talents has chosen someone as imperfect as I to be your life mate. It is interesting to read the Declaration of Independence and note the similarities between the People's grievances against the King, and the actions of today's .gov. Just a few that stand out:

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:

For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:

For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:

For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences

For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies:

For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:

For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.

He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.

He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

I've been thinking along the same lines, sixsigma struck the same chord with me.

I think I still have an open invitation with CogDis to present a post under his banner (unless I've pissed him off somewhere along the line...lol) but after the grievances, comes the real work.

I have to say, I'm adamant & unwilling to compromise on anything in the original BoR's, thats the Peoples (its ours) it has nothing to do with "it" (government) and cannot be changed, it would be in the structure of the Constitution (the model of governance) itself.

Don't get me goin on "lawfulness & legality" vs right & wrong ;-)

Therein lies the error that will keep humanity enslaved forever.

We don't need another government, after we get rid of this one.

A freed slave who immediately looks for another slavemaster, because he can't bare the responsibililty of a truly free life , will forever stay a slave.

There is no good government. We must get rid of it, and learn to not believe in authority ever again. We must teach our children in this way, and tell them that only stupid sheeple believe in "holy old papers and old books".

Freedom is lived, not written down.

Which is why 99% of government is crime&punishment to make people live in fear, and 'need' government.

lol, wonderfully said.

It's true, I already live a peaceful, free, anarchic life. I live my life without ruler, I really try.

Whenever government touches me in my life, it's because of some arbitrary rule that they inforce, and make me jump thru some hoops, because I want to buy something or build something or possess something etc...

NEVER have I had the impression that government is here to help me, or make my life better. They just want to control what I do, and how I do it.

In the best case they are just worthless waste of money and human labour, in the worst case they are a totalitarian nightmare waiting to happen.

Wow ,if the decription of this Cass Sunstein character in Wikipedia is only 50% true then I would say this man is dangerous and evil. He seems to have the idea that ordinary folks are just like sheeps that need to be controlled , for their own good. Taxes are necessary for your freedom of speech and liberty, among other things that we have taken for granted. He even asked " In what sense is the money in our pockets and bank accounts fully "ours" " The control freak also proposed government inflitaration of extreme groups and spy on them. Be careful ZH and readers for you may be regarded as an extremist group for allowing the view that the US gov ,ay be complicit in 911 to appear on these pages.

Our Congress of cowards cowers in fear of the word racism. Judge Obama by his acts and his lying character and not the color of his skin. Hamlet, at least, was troubled by his fear of acting. Racist, like wolf, loses it power with repetition. If the House begins impeachment, it can subpoena all sorts of documents and persons. "The journey begins with the first steps." The demented are less powerful and less supported by others. The demented's policy choices may statistically be better than those of an actor determined to destroy our Republic. Agnew went along with Nixon. Remove one and removing the demented follower will be easier. The idiot Biden may be the dumbest choice of Obama, if Biden fails to pardon Obama.

Its better (for now and all of us in the long run) to leave Hugo exactly where he is, standing in the middle of this smoking pile of rubble that is of his own making, so we can all bask in the glory of Hope-n-Change Inc.

Believe me, in three more years, the people will be paying more attention to detail than emotion & platitudes and they still won't like the options but then they can make a rational choice from where they will be...then ;-)

Both parties are guilty of that action. Just look at any speech by any president and see which side of the aisle is clapping.

However, if you take an honest look at it over the years it's the republicans who are much more in lockstep with their party's line. The republican spectrum on most issues is very narrow compared to the democrats who have a much broader, and sometimes conflicting view, on all sorts of social issues. Which of those characteristics is more exemplary of a communist or totalitarian regime?

Perhaps just one last time I will be involved.  I am a Ron Paul GOP officer and I have accomplished exactly zero thus far other than to piss off a lot of people.  Perhaps it is time I see how the other side is.  I know it is kind of stupid but in a way it is sort of smart.  I will attend the 2014 DFL caucus.  I just have to see this shitshow for myself.  I will likely be elected as an officer of the DFL.  If I am successful, that would make me both an officer of the GOP AND the DFL at the same time.

CD6.  Michelle Bachmann territory.  I figured that I would take my nine year old daughter with so she can see the process.  Daughter started the whole thing by asking "Dad, what's a caucus?" because she heard it on the AM radio.  "They didn't teach you that in school?  I asked?  "No." was her answer.  In 2012, I ended up having to run the GOP precinct caucus for my precint because the convener didn't even know how to run a meeting.

I got junked because I did not explain myself very well.  It is simply this, I want to see these people who think socialism is great.  More importantly, I want my daughter to see a caucus before they trash the caucus for a primary system.  It's pretty easy for me to walk through a GOP precinct caucus because anyone who bothers to show up has no idea why they are even there most of the time.  I have never done a DFL caucus before and I see the rules are different but I doubt the situation is much different.  I am conservative in nature and anyone who has ever read my posts knows that.  To that end, if I am going to bitch about democrats then shouldn't I at least observe them?

Democrats hate me and so do Republicans.  You might already know this because it is obvious but Ron Paul minded folk control who gets elected.  If we can't control who is nominated we can control if we vote or not.  That is how we ended up with Dayton for governor.  If you want to piss off a RINO then just tell them you will not vote if they don't listen.  They go apeshit crazy and call you all sorts of names and call you a traitor.  Fuck off, I've seen the campaign finances and I know where the money is coming from.  I am not going to be your banker buddy's bitch.

Most people, even here on ZH, wear their allegiance to a party on their sleeves and are sure to bloviate about it.  That is not how the game works because you need to understand one key factor and that factor is this:  Most people will not do one damned thing about anything.  Sure, they will sit and bitch and complain all day long but they never follow through.  This is I how know I can be elected as an officer to the DFL.  If I can accomplish this, it is the ultimate insult to both major political parties and the entire system of government we have.  It sums the hypocrisy up perfectly, ladies and gentlemen this asshole is an officer in BOTH parties and not backed by any bank.  I would be making a mockery of them and they need to be mocked.

This is the kind of thing the politicos fear the most.  I have already burned the bridges and I know who used the Ron Paul campaign to further their politcal ambitions.  I can name names.  That is why they hate me.  Good.  That means I am doing my job as a citizen and they should be worried.  As far as the MNGOP, I still have the financial .xls files from 2008 and I know who stole what and it's all right there on a spreadsheet.  Read this.  I can't make this shit up and I don't need to.

I am not suggesting that I can "hope and change" anything.  I know that I can't but I can sure be a pain in their asses.  I spoke with another "Paulbot" last night and he was a resistant to the idea of me caucusing with the DFL.  I replied that he was missing the point.  It's time for Pauler's to fuck with the democrat party and their infrastructure.  After some discussion, he finally got the point and complimented me for thinking outside of the box.

If nothing else, I will teach my daughter a lesson on civics since the fool system won't.

So at this point, and moving forward, what is the goal for "reforming" government? Nmewn and Satoshi911 are both right in my mind. We do have many laws on the books that need to be properly enforced, but also, the government which governs least, governs best.

In my opinion, an armed society is a law abiding society. An armed society holds both its members of government and fellow citizens in check (Nmewn) as the ultimate arbiter of power, in the meanwhile, keeping individuals free of tyranny from either (Satoshi911). Ultimately, that is the people's check/balance, a responsibility of citizenship not to be taken lightly.

Getting to the more important point I wish to make here is I don't think that our government as outlined in the original framework has much, if anything, wrong with it. What I have a problem with is how the many pitfalls our Founding Fathers wished posterity to avoid, successive generations have found a way to screw things up anyway. For instance, State's appointing Senators vs popularly elected, sound money vs fiat currency, entanglements in international affairs, and on, and on, and on... For the most part, the people of this Republic, over time, have allowed nearly everything our Founding Fathers admonished us not to do through the Founding Documents, to happen. Also, our forefathers were smart enough to recognize as fact that every so often, government would need it's slate wiped clean...

So, my question is whether it is a revolution with blood in the streets to form an entirely new government or if every so often our Federal government automatically resets to its original framework, from which we start from scratch anew, type of wiping the slate clean that is needed?

I know it sounds really cool to talk of blood in the streets and so forth, and guillotines, but I am not convinced all revolutions work out as well as ours did, I.e. the French Revolution. In that one there were an awful lot of omelettes made at great expense to a lot of people without voices at the table.

Again, and if like a debt jubilee, every so often the FED.gov were to revert back to day one of ratification (say, every 70 years) and everything in government with all the career parasites, treaties, IRS, social spending, foreign entanglements, fiat, central bank, laws on the books, bureaucrats, all went "...Poof! It's gone!" would that satisfy all parties, Nmewn to Satoshi 911? Basically, it would be an expiration date. From that point forward, everyone would have 70 years to fuck it all up again, and then the next generation could have its shot at the title.

Do we simply need a debt jubilee type reset for FED.gov? Could it be that easy?

Abstract Revolution in a Referential Honeypot

[ The NAZI's ONLY FEAR the "LONE WOLF", be that LONE-WOLF and you will bring the system to its knees' ]

Well you brought me into this, but I'm willing to play along, but allow me to enumerate the basics.

1.) That ZH is a GS/NSA/CIA honey pot, ergo anybody stupid enough to publicly be real in the revolution in this forum is a fucking idiot.

2.) That the system, most fears the 'lone ranger', the guy who keeps his mouth shut, and doesn't play on the internet.

3.) The best model for USA 'freedom' is the Irish IRA model of 1917, where a few good men, took out 20+ politicians in one night and in morning the British fled from Southern Ireland and never returned.

Today the USA is an occupied country, and the resistance the rebels, call them what you might, must not play on the internet, must not carry phones, and must not carry cash with RFID's ( as all USA cash has rfids ), must not attend ATM's that have camera's.

Good fucking LUCK.

ON many occasion I have made perfectly fucking clear the ASSHOLES have destroyed anything 'GOOD' about ameriKKKa, let them be destroyed and out of the ashes in 10+ years we shall return and buy said and reconstuct such for penny's on the dollar, ... why fight the bastards, especially when given that 70% of the US public feeds at the NAZI pig trough.

How many men tried to take HITLER out in vain, during 1920's to 1945? Many in vain, for what, the HITLER's of the world will only destroy themselves.

*

I just use the IRISH model for reference cuz it worked, IMHO revolution in the USA is not worth it, ... our lives are short, and there are too many places where there are NO nazis.

*
How many years before the assholes self-destruct, sadly it could be a long time, if they WIN the battle of UKRAINE, it could be the end. The end game is near, the IMF-SDR is near, and the vampire bitch from hell Hillary-2016 can taste red-neck blood.

what has your "battle of Ukraine" to do with your American political setup?

further, did you understand that the IMF is steadely shaking US influence off? a lot of that is part of the BRIC de-americanization push, with China proposing an "Asian IMF" as alternative if this does not happen. meanwhile the greatest shareholder of the IMF, Uncle Sam, is not paying up past dues and it's the only one that does not want to increase the share capital

I agree with your point that something big (AN end game of the current status quo or some sort of game changer, not THE end game that stops the world from turning or halts the march of history) may be closer than we know. However, I feel that is always the case over the course of time. I see history as a series of often repeated cycles at the individual, national, and international levels. There exist catalysts for change everywhere, it's just a matter of scale.

My reference to your position on the state of things today was merely to illustrate one end of a wide spectrum of political discourse, nothing more or less. It wasn't an attempt to call you out, challenge the validity of what you had already posted, or ensnare you in some sort of "honey pot" operation. Your "willingness to play this game" seems emotionally driven and your zeal is causing you to cast caution aside in a public forum where it is generally accepted prying eyes lurk. Your opinions are your own, though, and yours to do with what you will.

As for that vibrant freedom within the Russian and Chinese Utopias, am I to understand from your post that they don't have issues with corruption in government? There is no abuse of power by their own TPTB? The Russian oligarchs aren't struggling to avoid loss of personal wealth or even life at the hands of government? Or, as recently noted as well on ZH, that the Chinese oligarchs aren't raping their own country for personal gain? There was no mass slaughter of whole populations, or starvation, or other types of misallocations of resources necessary for a stable and productive society within recent history in either of those countries? That they aren't just as fucked up, in their own way, as we are in ours? To get to where they are, are you willing to pull the lever releasing the blade on someone who disagrees with you, or are you willing to have someone stretch your neck simply because they can? Maybe a bullet to the back of a head? My point there is that is a really fucked up situation for all involved, and may not all turn out according to expectations or preconceived notions.

I referenced the American and French revolutions, and you referenced several others. Throughout the ages there has been a continuous series of rise and fall of governments, sometimes peacefully, sometimes violently, sometimes more or less successful. My interest in all of these is purely out of amateurish intellectual curiosity. I am interested in what sparked their rise, how did their formation or dissolution transpire, etc. I think we were handed a pretty good deal here, but over time, it has been corrupted. No matter what is in place, people will fuck it up. Like usury, and the necessary follow-on debt jubilee.

My point about that was why couldn't we just do a regularly recurring reset of FED.gov back to the constraints found in the base documents? If we can enact Prohibition, and then repeal it, or otherwise amend the Constitution for stupid crap, how hard would this be? Would it even work to do a pre-programmed reset, and would this be a clearly outlined goal worth working towards?

Hopefully this helps to clear up my position. You may be right, though, I might be misunderstanding something here.

That "Something Big" will be an event allowing B.O. to get an enabling act in place as You know Who did after the Reichstag Fire.

Funny, that was my fear with Bush/Cheney.

Did not happen then - won't happen this time.
