Luxury Brand CEO To The Poor "Stop Whining... Or Move To China"
Ironic perhaps on the heels of President Obama's minimum-wage-hike executive order - and our discussion of the salaries for public and private employees in America, we find the following...
Submitted by Mike Krieger of Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,
The following clip from CNBC of Nicole Miller’s CEO Bud Konheim is absolutely disgusting. Then again, this simply continues the recent trend of wealthy people coming on financial outlets and telling the poor how they are supposed to feel.
Rather than me rewriting what I already wrote on this topic, I encourage you to read my very well received post from last week:
An Open Letter to Sam Zell: Why Your Statements are Delusional and Dangerous.
This is how I ended that article:
I don’t think you’re a bad guy with evil intent. I think you are a money obsessed financier who hasn’t taken the time to actually understand what is really going on within your own country because you have your head so far up your own ass. It’s hard for anyone to actually look at themselves in the mirror and be honest about themselves and the myths they create. However, history shows us that when decadent plutocrats are unable to do so, we end up with disastrous situations. Situations which are often times violent and result in despotism. A situation I desperately hope to avoid, and I truly hope you and others like you recognize your error before it is too late.
While the CNBC clip below is priceless, equally disturbing are the results from CNBC readers to the poll question:
Perhaps they could try asking poor people questions about themselves for a better perspective.
"So we're talking about woe is me, woe is us, woe is this... the guy that's making, oh my God, he's making $35,000 a year, why don't we try that out in India or some countries we can't even name."

My rendition is a pale imitation of the original...
So are you brainwashed? Are you working or are you one of Obamacare's new emancipated work slaves that can now sit back and collect government benefits? Have you seen the light?
CNBC has 2,687 viewers? That many?!
And we're here talking about it.
Think about that....
Exactly. Which is why I view at least half of my fellow countrymen (and women) as ignorant, self-absorbed, and often obese losers who haven't learned to think about anything beyond what they TV tells them to think.
Face it, considering what we have become in this country, there's no reason to mourn its collapse. In fact, it can't come fast enough!
can less than 3K morons left watching let alone responding to CNBS & such BS constitute 1/2 of the population?
Could they get an Obaba phone in China?
Fuck you Bud.
well said, I would gladly hire you as my speech-writer.
well said, I would gladly hire you as my speech-writer.
Let me pack your bags for you Bud.
Hahahaha! Well at the rate that jobs were exported to China that didn't require a degree, most people that are not beyond a high school education, would be better off in China....though China is now having its problems with employment.
Yeah I'd hit that if the government didn't steal my money. I can't afford to just up and leave and finance the immigration.
smooth
I like telling the guy his head is up his ass in the first couple of sentences...it creates an air of diplomacy right off the bat.....straight out of 'Win Friends and Influence People'...
What an asshat
These guys remind me of the attractive high school girl that no one likes because she's an asshole, but the girl claims that no one likes them because they "are just jealous."
I'm jealous of him
I'm not. He'll be dead before the decade is out.
"I'm jealous of him"
You are part of the problem.
Most hot girls are awful in the sack. I used to tell myself this to make me feel better, but after my experience (as well as others; just go on any "escort" forum) it is so true that those who don't deal with adversity tend not to excel towards their labor in nature.
Like this guy, they lose their work ethic because they have so many folks fawning over them for winning the DNA lottery (in this case, replace the "sackless men courting these women" with "Joe Kernen").
ok, janet yellen is all yours.
I said, "girls", not, "ogres"
It's not about the looks, but the appetite, imho. And attraction.
I bet you never fucked a Scarlett Johansson type of chick though.
If you like your united statean big fat white whales mommas, you can keep your big fat white whales.
Kernan would love nothing more than to blow this dinosaur for a breaking story
99 out of 100 baboons could perform this clown's job better than he does.
I dunno.....
Obumbles isn't doing to great a job.
dang dat wuz rassiss.
Once again we see that psycopaths lack empathy.....
Exactly. This links to an article from Fast Company from years back. Interesting read. I'm guessing most corner offices are home to psychopaths by now.
http://www.fastcompany.com/53247/your-boss-psychopath
So much for his community spirit.
"Mop that floor harder, Juanita."
"Send this back to the kitchen! It's cold!"
"I don't think that waiter deserves a tip. Hair #48 is out of place."
spoken like a true american, aka ex old roman, oligarch.
What's the world coming to if we can't shit on the plebes.
Who is Nicole Miller?
"Headless Body in Topless Bar."
google
Fashion Designer
I don't know who she is exactly but I know what the clothes look like. (Hey, I read magazines.) Eight or ten years ago, the clothes were good quality: Well-made, good fabric, classic lines.
Since then, the quality has dropped off and I can't imagine who the end buyer is. The price for a cheap-looking dress is around $500 to $600 but at that price you'd think women would expect more for their money. There are discount Internet sale sites that carry Nicole Miller stuff. I wonder if they get rid of more stock that way than they do via regular retail.
Maybe when the quality dropped is when this CEO came onboard.
you all don't understand, someone making 3.5million is just 100x more valuable and efficient than the 35k guy, duh. nothing to do with whoever is closest to the fed faucet for easy fiat, not at all. all legit. /barf
Warren Buffet will hire most CEOs at twice their current pay rates. They're all underpaid!
His mother dresses him funny.
"What do we make here? Nothing anybody wants.."
Bud, we used to make everything everybody wanted until slimeballs like yourself grew unhappy with their millions and wanted to take it all.
You should go play on the yacht before you trip some working-class victim's last circuit breaker with that mouth.
I guess nobody wants 787s
Or hellfire missiles.
Anybody up to driving a Volt?
Or jet engines, chemicals, fertilizers, food, pharmaceuticles, software, microprocessors etc.
I like chemicals and fertilizers... I like them a lot.
I can do all sorts of tasks with that.
That bow tie on tht bright yellow sweater will make an excellent target one day...
For what? A gay elderphile?
The guy does have a point...to Obama it is the evil American who is the 1%. It is that part of the world's population that needs to have it's wealth extracted and redistributed to the truly poor.
I don't think that the poor in this country understand the plan. Obama won't be happy until all the world's poor are equal....all in deep poverty
cuz you know that raising the world's standard of living up isn't an option, only bringing everyone down together will work for his 'I can do anything I want' majesty.
Re: The guy does have a point
And don't forget the Federal Workers who get most of that 2 trillion dollars the Federal Government spends every year.
Obummer doesn't tell you that either. Between the Federal workers and "those people" the top 1% doesn't stand a chance to create new wealth for this great-n-glorious nation. If these losers hate America so much - and the troops - they should just leave.
LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT HIPPY SOCALISTS, and get a goddamn haircut too!
He might have just moved up in the Dead Pool.
Break out the guillotines for this guy and Kevin Oleary
I bet he'd be whining too if we took away TARP, ZIRP, all of the Fed's subsequent/secret bailouts, QE1, QE2, QE3, and QE4eva.
The poor don't need to move to China, asshats like him are doing a perfectly good job of bringing China like conditions to us.
And if anyone doubted that this is their plan, here's the posterboy to prove it.
Eh, oh well. This dude effects my personal life in no way.
30yrs. old and look 18yrs old.
Have a full head of hair.
Probably a good 20 yrs. away from needing sildenafil to help with the ladies.
You can keep your paper and big house, and know that I completely understand your comments because I would probably be depressed and angry knowing that my remaining time on this planet is dated. All us peasents get to do is live our lives enjoying the things you haven't been able to do in probably 30 + years. Have fun with the rest of your comfortable yet utterly miserable life and remember we will all be there radiantly smiling when you take your last gasps.
....wow got a bit gruesomely bitter there at the end haha.
Those little old Jewish guys that look like turtles live a lot longer than you think. Look at Henry Kissinger for god sakes.
Stay outta the sun and wear a helmet!
Konheim >pronounced <conhim
I missed all of these billionaires whining on CNBC and Bloomberg......because I was actually doing this thing called, you know, WORKING.
CNBC and Bloomberg: Where Billionaires Come to Whine
It's not work, if you love what you do
- A random billionaire
Boycott Nicole Miller and every company and charity board that ol' Bud is a member/director.
More public info on this tub of shit please.
Information... Blaze posted this above in this thread http://www.psfp.com/pdf/OJC-07-01-10pp1and6.pdf
Funny how he didn't bring up the price of homes, edcuation, health care, transportation and food in this country for that guy making $35k....
Let's give this guy that salary of $35k and see how well he lives on it.... he will quickly realize he isn't rich...
A decent apartment with 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets/bath, kitchen, and living area in a secure building is over 2 Million. (In Beijing, were you cant breath the air)
Right, it is all relative in proportion of the currency said working folks are earning/spending in.
I'd shun to watch this guy try to cook or do his own laundry.
Put him in a Nicole Miller dress just before you put the boiled rope around his fat neck.
If you boil the rope so it snaps his neck I vote for an unboiled rope so it stretches and he strangles, slowly.
These psychos are dying and they know it. CNBC is dying too.
So they need each other to pretend, to make believe. Pretty pathetic!
Could they hurry up already?
All I goota say is : Go fuck yourself Bud .....Slimeball
Are you sure that's not Karl Maldens long lost brother?
This guy trying to show he is clever sounds like an imbecile.
The missing ingredient in Konheim's logic is purchasing power equivalency.
Whereas USD$35k / yr. may put you in the (upper?) middle class in India, the same amount puts you solidly on the border between poverty and non-poverty (depending on U.S. geography) state-side.
Another uninformed knucklehead shooting off his mouth... so what? Moving on...
what a stud. lulz
“We had a 23-room house on a few acres of land in the suburbs on the south shore of Long Island,” Bud explained. “But the Depression wasn’t just an economy; it was a mentality. I was born in 1935, and things really didn’t start turning around until after the War. You just didn’t flaunt your status. It was considered tasteless and offensive. There was no keeping up with the Joneses back then.”
lol

Sweater vest should keep his pie-hole shut.
It's truth
Do you want cheap iphones? Well...they're created with slave labor.
If you want to pay $1,500 per iphone we can bring that to America.
You cant have cheap shit with expensive labor. It's just reality.
you are brainwashed, have you seen apple's profits and cash hoard? some of that money could have been used to pay fairer wages...these corproations are extreme.
Wake up you sheeple.
Yes............
We have cheap iPhones and no jobs.........
Its a perfect world I tell ya.....
Really don't think you could include Barclays with that assessment.
"It’s estimated that an iPhone made in America would cost Apple about $65 more to make in the United States than it would in China, not just for the cost of labor, but for the cost of shipping supply chain components over here for assembly."

Kill him.
Nah. Just make sure he's not in a position to inflict his idiotic delusions on unwitting victims.
Like to see him say that in Camden or Detroit.
Outside of the Santelli rants it's not worth giving CNBC any acknowledgement.
Hey Buddy boy. Don't make me come and take your manhood. As I told Blythe Masters, " My backshots will make you hit the high notes."
mea culpa in ...5.....4....3...2...
Dear Bud Konheim,
DIE YOU MOTHERFUCKER!!!!
Sincerely, the earth
More meaningless red meat from ZH. We already know the elite hate the rest of us. Soon, they're gonna start just killing us outright.
How 'bout some of those articles and who might be behind it all?
ZH doesn't need to mimic Info Wars or Prison Planet.
But it could be more like Corbett Report. It used to be decently good up until 2012 when it started to write shit articles to appeal to every British fund manager that made a bet against the Euro.
It has now descended into a "stack golldddzz bitchezz" vs "I haz all the bitcoins bitchezz" vs "JackBurtonesque-we-should-all-root-for-Rassiah-the-motherland" shit.
From time to time some interesting article.
Reading ZH for me is mostly about trolling stupid wanna be preppers hiding behind their Xbox and imaginary gold stacks.
I like how these assholes always dress up like our grandpa before lecturing us that if we aren't dying in a ditch this very instant that we have nothing to complain about.
It's almost as if they know this is all part of some long con. Ohh, look at me with my crazy theories!!!
I say as long as the poor are willing to accept indentured servitude, we should cut them some slack.
Catch my followup on curling yesterday?
Yes!
I've been watching the Olympics online illegally by tricking teh interwebs into thinking I'm connecting from the UK. I'm stickin' it to the man, big-time.
Not a curler myself, but my pop was, long ago.
CAN vs GB womens is currently on..
Last stones in the 5th and 6th ends were incredible shots, one a angled raise takeout to score 3, the other a double take out to score 2....
Clearly these gals are the elites rinks of the games...
Did I mention that GB skip is a smokin' hot Scottish lass? The Canadian third ain't chopped liver either...
This guy is talking about Federal workers who are taking this nation's wealth from the hard working taxpayers who give all their hard-earned money to "those people" in order to support Obama's socialist fantasy.
The top 10% are the people we should respect not the goddamn Federal workers who just sit around all day chanting union slogans!
Look at how much money these ObamaPhones cost, that's what this guy is talking about!
fucking cunt
What an ironic statement he made... about "not whining".
Last I read & heard, "whining" is protected under the Constitution. Exercise it while you still can.
Seems the elite HATE it when they hear complaining. Yes, exercise our rights to bitch, complain, whine and make noise.
We're in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation for all things economic these days.
As much as we feel bad for the poor, particularly the very poor, the fact remains many of them are simply sitting back and waiting for the government to do something/anything for them. In some ways, you have to ask "can you blame them?" because politicians LOVE this. They created the welfare state to institutionalize voting blocs and now they have what they desired - voting blocs wholly dependent on political largesse.
On the other hand, we need people who are productive, and who benefit from being productive, to get out there and do what they do. But whenever we hamper them with more constraints, taxes, regulations, we create a situation where the incentive to produce is offset by what is lost in the process.
It would be a wonderful world if we all realized our full potential. But many of us don't.
Most of us get along just well enough, or slightly better than just well enough, and keep our mouths shut because we don't want to rock the boat or lose our place in the boat. Again, this is politics playing its deadly role.
I don't agree with people who make tons of money telling poor people to get up off their asses, or telling them to suck it up, or anything like that. But by the same token, I don't like hearing the unproductive classes whining and complaining because the government doesn't give them everything they want.
I know someone here will misconstrue what I've written here to make me out as a heartless bastard. C'est la vie. Fact is, I do what I can, when I can and where I can, for the poor. Soup kitchens? Worked them. Sandwich groups? We deliver twice a week. Food Pantry? Dropping off regularly. We do what we can for those without. But I am reaching a point at which my charity may no longer be given because my taxes continue to rise so the government can 'do more' for these people. It's not necessarily just the Federal Taxes - it's the state and local, as well. My recent assessments went through the roof and I saw a 20% increase in my property tax rate in 3 years. This was meant to fund some school program that isn't even in my district!
I know I'm not supposed to complain about 'helping the poor'. But you know what? My taxes aren't 'helping the poor', despite what some bleeding hearts say. My taxes are feeding a beast which is only growing larger and lazier. It's no surprise that the most money per student is still spent in the worst school districts. The link between performance and family involvement has nothing to do with dollars spent - but try telling that to my politicians.
So, yeah, this guy is off his rocker because he's rich and he's ripping the poor a new one.
That sucks.
And the poor do have it tough, and that sucks, too. I've been there when I was unemployed.
But at some point, we have to cut through the bullshit and realize that there are producers and there are consumers. Rather than making life tough on the producers, as we're currently doing, we should at least recognize without them the consumers don't get to ask the politicians for anything. Because without them there is nothing.
Re: are producers and there are consumers
There's also the above average people and the below average people. (Did you know that 50% of the people are below average)
And the smart-n-savvy people and the dumbasses.
And then there's the sociopaths who feast off the dumbasses by running scams on them.
There's also the end-game when a few (the smartest-n-savviest eg, the most fit) own everything and you've got to figure out how to reset the game again.
Hey IB
Just remember it didn't use to be that way in this Country until offshoring went "uncontrollable" with the hands of the multinationals increasingly in the back pockets of Mr. Smith in Washington.
To guys like this Jew bagel asshat "life is good at others expense" as I collect my $2 million social security check every year... Enjoy shitting in your own pool while it lasts.
I wouldn't want to be him when makes those remarks again in another year!
Yep, I was making the same argument on a California Educator's website (EdSource) that had some California Dem (Dum) Assemblyman calling for 'affordable housing' for everybody, so 'The Children' (that despicable mantra of pre-loaded guilt) can have a 'safe' environment to learn and do better. All it takes is MORE money! Gawd, it was me, against all those people, but I was a persistent bastard (Rejis is my name and sub a G for the J, so I don't show up on an NZA Search.
http://edsource.org/today/2014/with-affordable-housing-summer-and-after-school-learning-can-start-at-home/57323#comments
"Given that housing prices and rents in California far exceed what is affordable to the average working family, a disproportionate number of California families experience housing instability. Housing instability hits children particularly hard, and can significantly affect their ability to engage at school or even their ability to attend school regularly."
Don't read, if you don't want to be disgusted.
Click on 'newer comments' at the bottom to get to the bottom of this very heated argument from the Empire.
What is hilarious is that the people ready to rightfully rip this asshole a new one are under the delusion that some other group of asshats have been scrweing them out of their prosperity when the answer is in plain view...
Cocksuckers like this guy will try to screw the average guy no matter what socio-political system is in place...
Re: are under the delusion that some other group of asshats
Well, all "conservatives" know the problem isn't just the "rich people" (who mostly worked hard for their wealth). It's "those people" and the Federal Workers who are getting 90% of the 2 trillion dollars that the Federal government spends each year.
You never hear this statistic on liberal media tho, do ya?
Aside from a few few immoral bankers, the real problem is socialism for Federal workers and "those people". I mean, 90% of 2 trillion dollars is allot of money, but you never hear that in the liberal media, no - it's all about class warfare!
True. The problem is we have created a system in the US that rewards these predators and holds them up as someone to aspire to becoming. Even worse are the poor wage slaves who abide by this system and would fight and die to ensure their slavery. As you have mentioned, Joe Bageant cover this perplexing topic pretty well, but it's still incomprehensible.
OF course they would - if they didn't, they'd be making $35,000 a year. Ya gotta keep your distance between the guy you just fucked over & yourself ...
He's part of the old white establishment that needs to be destroyed.
Forget red and blue, go GREEN.
And replace it with what, the mongrel establishment?
Don't we already have that currently occupying the white house?
replace it with the pro marijuana establishment....
What does race have to do with it.
Seriously this place has been overrun by the anti old white men Daily Kos types
it's not actually about race, it's about established interest groups...and old white men happen to be the current form/color of the establishment....
it's just time to get a new establishment, i'd say more feminine...and less Ivy league educated.
If it is not about race then dont bring race in.
re: "He's part of the old white establishment that needs to be destroyed."
Konheim = old white establishment?
Wait, I thought the Konheims of this world were of a 'chosen' and separate race...You know, the ones who are "smarter and work harder" than everyone else.
Oh that's right, that's a situational thing for them...they're only a different race when it's convenient and beneficial(like when it's time to play the victim card, re: "antisemite"). Other times it's "just a religion."
My bad.
NYT:
Bud is another terrific example of what passes for luxury asking to get modeled and sent down the runway. I'm sure WB7 and others will be happy to oblige with crafting art outta that piece of work.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39YUXIKrOFk
O.T. kinda.
Anybody happen to see the new WalMart commercials on "We used to make things" with all kinds of pictures of Manufacturing and "Making Things"?
And how THEY are the good guys bring it back to America.
No pictures of the BILLIONaire owners who got rich driving suppliers to export production to china et al.
yup, caught that one in my brief stint on the boob tube. also notice how they waited to reveal their brand until the very end and then did so very discreetly in the corner of the image (at least on the one that i saw)...as if they're trying to humble themselves before the public subliminally to front-run the eventual exposure of the irony.
fuckers.
Yes, Exactly what it was and how.
The masses think Return of American Mfg. and Feel Good, Positive.
Last image that may not even register on the conscious level but The feeling of Good/Positive is cataloged and stored linked with the Icon of the little name in the corner that didn't even register.
The US is also a rather expensive place to live, especially if you include all the costs of normal people.
Things like education, heath care, and elder care. Any of these three can easily put you in the poorhouse or bankrupt you, if you don't have a secure and well-paying job. Why do you think that "Reverse Mortgages" are such a big thing, or why everyone wants to work for the Gov?
Hey, allow me to take my US job and salary to another* country, and my bags would be packed in a few hours. Have papers, have laptop, will travel.
* Australia, Canada, NZ, Chile... Heck, with a US salary, I could live like a king in Argentina, Cyprus, Greece, Portugal, Ireland, or... Sochi.
The real reason we are living high on the hog, is that the USD is the GRC (Global Reserve Currency), and we use its status and power to do pretty much anything we damn well please.
CEO pay rates are purely down to the central bank. Japan the average is 16x the median salary. US, it's 70x the median salary.
It's not talent. It's fiat reserve currency, military might and inflation vs deflation.
But then, the people just keep on voting for it.
He's not saying anything that the winners don't all believe. The 1% are at times very successful and hard workers who build business and create jobs, I respect anyone who can do that, But, and I mean but, they are few and far between those 1%'ers who fit that model. The capture of government by corporate interests via bribes, and the banker control of congress has allowed a whole class of 1% leeches to prosper by crony capitalism, government contracts, bailouts, favorable tax law, tax cuts, subsidies and the dropping of regulation and enforcement of fiancial transactions. The crooked bankers are the model for this new capitalism, the fascist, crony model. No, I don't respect the 1%, because so very, very few of them are self made men, and even fewer are job creators. The old time guys who built industry in America may have been seeking the same crony deals, but they at least did create jobs in Ford Plants, Steel Mills, Manufacturing plants, technology advancements etc. etc. Todays elites are too often just rent collectors and monopolists with government help.
You might not realize it, but your paragraphless long rant, sound more like bolsevik propaganda.
"There is no honest capitalist, they are all sick corrupt demons sucking the blood out of the common man...etc..etcc..yyada. yaddaa.."
Hmm.. maybe that is why you love Putin so much, eh Jackie boy?
LMAO, Ya,wanking Troll
What's 'bolsevik'?
I have read a lot of dumb shit on here. You just set the new low - like a spread triple bottom break-down on the SMART P & F chart.
What he fails to realize, or maybe openly acknowledge, is how the ultra wealthy have corrupted our political system and use it to their benefit. And that is causing people to be poorer than they should. That is unjust.
That being said the average poor person does have it good here. Aside from being stuck in a cycle of perpetual debt caused by super rich assholes controlling the fed and devaluing our currency. Im a soldier and fought in Iraq and Afghanistan and travel frequently. I have seen true poverty and have lived for years at time with all of my worldly possession in a ruck on my back. Quite frankly if you have a warm dry place to sleep, food in your belly and clothes on your back, I think you should be grateful because many have less. And until you man up, grab a rifle and fight the powers that be and establish a better government, you have only your own lack of balls and initiative to blame for your current predicament.
Too bad the average $35,000 a year worker won't recognize you in public Bud. They might spit in your eye, kick you in your shins, slap you silly, mug you on the street or worse...Hopefully, someday, you fat cats won't ever be able to set foot out of your 23 room residences for fear of bodily harm, or until they roll the guillotines up to your front door.
Someone should explain to this girly man how it is that Starbucks doesn't charge $3 for a coffee in some countries he doesn't know the names of.
I am sure that when we need armed forces volunteers in times of war to fight for the US, guys like this jerk will rely on the Chinese!
I do think some people whine too much. I have noticed the biggest whiners were lazy kids in college who took easy majors and didnt work hard, just sliding by.
I guess they thought they would be handed a bunch of money for nothing.
Too soon old, too late smart, for many of them.
You're an oligarchical tool Carl. I just don't understand why you advocate the handing over of your assets to these bastards. You have no idea why we are in this economic nightmare.
Blaming the kids. Cowardly.
I didn't blame anyone lol.
I just pointed out a common pattern I see in blamers (whiners)
Write it again to convince yourself.
I didn't blame anyone lol.
I just pointed out a common pattern I see in blamers (whiners)
Repeating yourself does not make it anymore true.
It is too much of a generaliztion. THe FRAUD was committed against them. We graduate them without jobs. They were sold the Bill of Goods that if they did not have a College Education then they would not be competitive.
Even with the Degree in Underwater Basket Weaving they are not competitive. Plus they have a huge Student Loan Debt to boot?
This was programmed into them from DAY ONE in the First Grade. They were endoctrinated..
Most are not even College Material to begin with.
I was at a Liquor Store earlier tonight. I was quizzing a clerk with a simple Math Problem. (If I have a Three Gallon Bucket and I have a Five Gallon Bucket then how do I get exactly Four Gallons of Water?)
THIS WAS A QUESTION FOR A THIRD GRADER.
The clerk was clueless. (I know the clerks well.) He could NOT DO IT.
So another customer, a College Student, walks in the door. One of the clerks suggested that I ask her.
SHE HAD NO IDEA. She demonstrate her deficiency rather well. Yet she is going to College???
She will end up in debt and UNEMPLOYED. She cannot think.
It is not that they are lazy but they are INCAPABLE. We have failed our children in more ways than one.
But you were blaming. Come on, be honest.
Sooo... Just how do you get four gallons between the two buckets? Fill the 3-Gal, then put it in the 5-Gal and split the difference in height (or volume) to the top? 3/5-2/5=1/5? Just curious.
That's their answer? To compare us to some slum in India, or perhaps to the year 1384? I thought this was 2014 and the United States?
If only we minions would accept living in a mud huts and count ourselves lucky we have cabbage to eat every day, till we die. We would have no cause to point fingers at the wealthy.
Gee. I gues I am old fashioned.
I always felt avarice and a desire to expect others to give you free stuff was a sign of immaturity.
If you dont want to accept what another man pays you then build your own business.
So I suppose the $23 trillion of taxpayer money given to the big banks throughout the world should not be considered free stuff or a sign of immaturity. They earned that bailout.
Did I say somewhere I support bailouts of the rich?
I suppose if you see one man steal a car it justifies your own theft?
You're old fashioned not in believing you should be self-sufficient but in believing that building your own business without being complicit with the kleptoligarchy or completely screwed by it is possible in the present day.
Wall Street and this guy's business and many others have been built on the public treasury and the bleeding of the middle class.
Nice try though.
He won't be so cocky when asked to wear rubber pants - may even winge a little.
He's right. The "poor" in this country are far better off than poor in other countries. It's not even close. It might of been an insensitive way of putting it, but it's true. Go to any ghetto in the US... You will see people with new clothes, cellphones and plenty of food. They're not picking thru garbage dumps for food.
The rich are not the problem
The poor are not the problem.
Barriers to capital flows that create quasi monopolies and oligopolies in the guise of "safety" regulations, trade barriers, socializing losses, requiring job "certifications as a way to gouge the public and artificially limit supply of services.......those are the problems
you fuckers are delusional. Yesterday the "best education system". today the "best " poor people. OOO.we're not so bad, we don't have fucks rooting thru garbage and they all got new clothes. IN Camden?, In Detroit? Patterson,nj?
East st.Louis? Fuk I am not even American, but I have seen these places and I have seen Beirut too? Beirut at least has nice weather. I don't need to elaborate on the rest. Fuck, man, read more than US books
They're not picking thru garbage dumps for food.
Really??? I took my trash out at 5AM yesterday morning. There was a Homeless man who was Dumpster Diving my dumpster for recyclables so that he COULD EAT. I dug out the recyclables I had in my trash and handed it to him.
So we talked.
He had found a pair of Cufflinks with some Diamond Chips. So I brought him inside to test them for Gold...which, unfortunately, they were not. Had they been I'd have paid him 70% to 85% Spot.
I live near the Pink Ghetto in Lakeside, CA, a suburb of San Diego..
There is a wealthier enclave named Eucalyptus Hills in Lakeside. But even that is not extremely wealthy.
You are so disconnected. You are so out of touch...and full of shit.
The Homeless are angry at being mistreated.
Yeah. I can redirect energy.
He said: "Quit whining and get to stealing like me."
"No thanks, I'm focused on my guillotine now."
"+1 to the guillotine list."
