Gold, The Fed's "Stockholm Syndrome", & Keeping An Open Mind

Tyler Durden's picture

Once the family/gang has carved out their turf, they then turn to controlling and exploiting the resoruces (either natural or human) inside of it. How different is today's President-Congress-Governor-Mayor-Worker relationship to the mafia's boss-soldiers-associates model?

Is it simply ironic that the term "bankster" has become so ingrained? As Santiago Capital's Brent Johnson explains in this brief presentation... if you can keep your mind open, today's business leaders and politicians are no different as they run protection, extortion, control the flow of 'drugs', and manage 'crime'.

Is it possible, he asks, that we are all collectivley empathizing and sympathizing (and in many cases defending) the very system and the very people that are holding us captive?

And have you noticed almost any topic you can name includes the word "crisis"?  Food, Energy, Economy, Housing, Climate.  So why the fuck would you re-elect any of these so-called "leaders" who have made it thus and fail to address problems, or offer any meaningful solutions?

Because 30% (or so) of the human population wants an authoritarian kick-ass daddy fascist Big-Gov (Red Team) to protect them from outsiders and another 30% (or so) of the human population wants an authoritarian smothering mommy socialist Big-Gov (Blue Team) to lead them to univeral prosperity for all.

That's 60% of the population right out of the gate voting Red and Blue Team.    Throw in the fake "libertarians" and "Progressives" and you are up to 70%.

Let me give you just one fact to think about...

If a country like the USA really wanted to get rid of the mafia, don't you think they could have done that a loooooong time ago.....?

...and...if the west really wanted to stop the drug cartels don't you think they could have done that simply by getting at their money? Those billions need a home, and western banks have been providing that for decades. Once in a while a bank will get a slap on the wrist (maybe a 100 or so million fine). Any bank CEO gone to trial? Hahahahaaaaaa............. and Corzine still walks the streets......

We are living in a Matrix-like bogus reality my friends.

+100 for you.

Where they insist that they can do anything they want, what they don't do is as telling as what they do do.

Same with the southern border. Does anyone really believe that they would allow millions to stream across it unless it benefited them in the pocket book or in the amassing of power?!

Chaos changes face but never expires.

Neither our politicians, teachers or the masses have learned a damn thing these last 300 years, when it comes to Money, its disreputable creation and control, and its true owners.

The propaganda and Orwellian mind control of the Elite is so powerful, that even if a rare 1 in 10,000 people knows this and dares to speak of it, they are immediately stigmatized and marginalized.  The true Stockholm Syndrome lies with the willfully ignorant and bleating Sheeple (the ruled), and not with its sleazy, sheep-shagging Shepherds (the rulers).

Me ol' Pappy used to say that the poor SOB in duh rice paddy behind duh Ox don't know politics, don't care about politics. He gots no say, regardless of what kind of 'gobermint' by whatever name is imposing intself on him and his kin.

The math is basic. 80% of duh peeps basicly living job to job, paycheck to paycheck. They have no comprehension about what we might call a "power structure" which rules over them.

The 10-15% that in above them are professionals, business people, etc who are happy to have either climbed out of the bottom 80% or wish not to go there. They do what they are told by power, simply because they do not want to lose what they got.

That accounts for about 95% of the population.

My counting says to me that the very top most 0.1% are the people who have the most power and who are the controllers. That leaves the 4.9% just under them as their minions, doing the work of 'god', 'goldman', whoever/whatever.

95-98% of the population is really not interested in war, controlling things, etc. The top 1/10% are the ones who decide those things are going to happen. The 4.9% arrange for it to happen. The 10-15% go along with it so they are not knocked off of their perches. The 80% don't have a clue.

Want to stop all the war shit?? All the abusing money shit?? All the crap that makes life difficult for people al over the planet??

You know where to start, then.

the problem appears to be that fraudulent induction of
credit is required by the monetary system to sustain
its continued functioning and it only works so long as
a majority of the people remain ignorant of this fact,
obviously not a desirable or sustainable state or design.

There are limited options and how human beings can organize themselves. You will always be able to find similarities among models.

Key features of the Crime Syndicate Model devolution as opposed to older tyrannies include

1. Reliance on corruption and deception first then intimidation then force.
2. A formal hierarchy providing services and partnerships with an entrepreneurial network of criminal assoc.
3. Upward mobility within the organization.

Just in case you were wondering why we began as constitutional republic, why limited small government. Democracies drift this direction while surplus wealth holds out.
