President Obama Warns Ukraine Against "Crossing The Line"

The Obama administration is considering sanctions against Ukraine, possibly in concert with European allies, saying the threat of penalties may push the government in Kiev to halt the deadly violence there.
"All of us are deeply disturbed," Secretary of State John Kerry said during a brief appearance in Paris with his French counterpart. "We are talking about the possibility of sanctions or other steps with our friends in Europe and elsewhere in order to try to create the environment for compromise."
Mr. Kerry and other U.S. officials didn't detail what those sanctions might entail, but the administration in the past has held out the threat of individual sanctions, typically steps that freeze assets and limit travel.
The threat from the U.S. comes after violent clashes in Kiev this week have claimed the lives of at least 25 people and as the Obama administration and its European counterparts try to get a handle on the situation.
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has blamed opposition leaders for the violence, while opposition leaders said the government was responsible.
Ben Rhodes, a deputy National Security Adviser to President Barack Obama, said the administration hopes the threat of sanctions will quell some of the violence. "We have made it clear we would consider taking action against individuals who are responsible for acts of violence within Ukraine," he said while traveling with Mr. Obama to Mexico. Mr. Obama is headed to Mexico, among other reasons, to discuss trade.

80% of Russia's nat gas exports are piped through Ukraine, and the EU has become completely dependent on Russian gas — without it most of the union freezes to death. Russia certainly will not tolerate any outward aggression as its nat gas reserves/pipelines are its primary economic and geopolitical asset. Obama can threaten all he wants, but his hands are tied — he'll have to be satisfied with stirring up a civil war b/c that's the only play he has (unless he intends to start WWIII... which I certainly wouldn't rule out).
Obama's goal is clear to me. Russian gas flowing through the pipe to Europe through Ukraine. Europe and the euro were created as competitors for USA and the U.S. dollar.
Obama wants to block the development of competition in the face of Europe.
To do this, he needs to put on a gas pipe, of the U.S. military.
Thus, Obama can keep Europe by the throat, via blackmailing stop the gas transit in the EU.
But I do not understand the position of Europe in general and in particular Merkel. Merkel helps Obama to make Germany and all others country of EU, as a U.S. colony?
I don't agree with this analysis. IMO the EU was created for the primary purpose of strip-mining its members' economies in preparation for their integration into global governance. It isn't a competitor to the US or the dollar, it's an ally, created by the same trans-national banking cabal that controls most of Western civilization. The coming conflict pits the US/EU on one side, and Russia/China on the other.
IMO this play in Ukraine is leveled directly at Russia. EU integration of Ukraine gives it direct leverage in nat gas negotiations w/ Russia; it is currently totally powerless, as Putin displayed when he effectively halted their gas deliveries a few years ago. Control of Ukraine also gives the US/EU a convenient staging ground for bases and missiles right on Russia's doorstep, and peels one historical ally from the Motherland's orbit. Ukraine also exports a ton of food to both the EU and Russia... not something to be overlooked as the global climate continues to go haywire.
How many bases the US Military have in Europe and Germany especially?.........................................................??

The EU and USA have started the end game against Russia, this is not about Ukraine in the long run, it is about ending Russia as a major international state. A German member of parliament was interviewed today and she said that Ukraine was going to be absorbed into the EU by force and that this is not the REAL issue, she said that this sort of action is desperatly needed inside Russia. Let's not mince words, she made it clear that a revolution to enfroce a US/NATO take over of Russia is in the works and that the real target is Russia. It is just that in order to weaken Russia before the revolution there, the Ukraine must be taken out of Russia's orbit and used as the NATO military base from which the revolution in Russia is launched.
The Neo-cons have now taken over foreign policy inside the EU, and have for a long time run the USA foreign policy. Anyone interested should investigate this issue from outside the main stream media. We are in an end game, the west has played it's hand and all that we can do now is wait and see how far they are willing to push that hand. Putin has so far done little in public. The west has a strong hand as they are pouring money, intelligence agents, special forces and political experts into Ukraine to strenghten the revolution. The shooting began last night, with many dead from gunshots. Putin's hand has not been played, he is keeping cards close to his vest. What are those cards? Crimea and Eastern Ukraine. These are majority ethnic Russian or pro Russian. I feel certain that these people's leaders are in close cooperation with Russia as to what happens on those territories. Crimean parliament has already said it will not accept any orders from a new revolutionary government in Kiev, the leader of parliament has vowed to defend Crimea from any revolutionary force trying to enter, and has recruited 5,000 men to support police units. I have no information on Eastern Ukraine, they are not saying anything. I suspect Putin and his Ukrainian allies in the east will await developements. They have no reason to become involved. I think Putin is waiting to see how far the west will go to take Ukraine. Be sure of this much, Crimea and Eastern Ukraine will never fall to NATO's West Ukrainian Revolutionary Forces. That will never happen, and if they try to conquer the Russian Ukraine, I suspect they will die in the effort.
I see most likely a partition. West Ukraine becomes a ward of the EU and a NATO military base, and Crimea and Eastern Ukraine petition to join the Russian federation. This will result in the most peaceful outcome.
I have said before that the EU is a fascist corporate whore, and it is. The only difference is on social issues, the EU follows the path of communism in that spere, open borders and destruction of native cultures and national identities. Anyways the EU is Germany, a Germany just like Hitler's. Germany is on the march east again.
The EU and USA crush by police action any protest against EU rule or USA crony capitalism. They will never let their power slip. Bank on that. Only the collapse of the fiat dollar and fake Euro can bring them down. You can bet that Russia and China have plans for the US dollar. China sees this end game against Russia, they know the ultimate goal is to destroy China. When China steps in to defend itself, is as big a question mark as to when Russia defends itself. Be assured, they are looking carefully at the global reserve currency, the fiat dollar, as their best target.

Russian tanks are going to roll (already gassed up and ready to go), and Russian Special Forces (already in country) are going to start killing everyone on their long, long list - soon.
