One common thread of causation includes a populace that gets tired of corruption to the point where everything breaks. I believe there are plenty in the Ukraine who have just had their fill of corruption and now they are releasing their anger. It may well be that outsiders are taking advantage of that anger but that does not diminish the fact that anger and hatred are the fuels that are kindled. A lesson should be learned by individuals in the US. A while ago a top DOJ official stated he was affraid of the effect of criminal prosecutions in the financial system because of the negative effect it could have on the system. Well, that is turning a blind eye to corruption isn't it? It is that kind of attitude that displays complicity with corruption. And that corruption will lead to systemic failure just as it has in the Ukraine. It seems pretty clear that much of the financial crisis was caused by fraudsters and no prosecutions were even attempted. John Corzine, case in point. If we don't go after the fraudsters Ukranian problems will reach our own shores, its just a matter of time.

The y are not paying us here in Colombia....so pretty much trade has stopped between the two countries....except the illegal trade of what gets snuck across the rivers....in a couple of weeks the country will be running on fumes...no food or anything...no one can restock a shelf...cant buy it..no dollars for trade..and cant sell it for what it costs...not a good business model...buy high sell low...
