Britain Summons Russian Ambassador; Russian Ambassador To US May Be Recalled

Tyler Durden's picture

While various organizations are scrambling to meet on short notice, or not so short if one is a European finance minister, the diplomatic fallout has begun with the summoning of the Russian Ambassador in Great Britain to the foreign office.

This was to be expected. More interest will be whether Russia will "summon" its ambassador to the US as the upper house of parliament has demanded of Putin:

Russia's upper house of parliament will ask President Vladimir Putin to recall Moscow's ambassador from the United States, the chamber's speaker said on Saturday.

Valentina Matviyenko, the head of the Federation Council, asked the Council's Committee on Foreign Affairs to draw up a proposal setting out the demands to Putin.

Now all eyes are focused on the White House. Or perhaps that should say on the nearby golf courses?

I'm sure this is all just a simple misunderstanding.

I mean come on, they wouldn't push the reset button over the weekend with the markets closed and at all time highs would they?

(on second thought scratch that.  It's exactly what they would do.)

Am I the only one that sees the set up here?

This is pure theater.  Putin is and has been financed by the people above him, just like Obummer has.

Now what are the chances that these 'people' are one and the same.  Let's call them the 'Minders".

This will lead to the reset button being pushed.

Central African Republic: French Troops to Move Outside Bangui, Hollande

http://allafrica.com/stories/201403010047.html?aa_source=mf-hdlns

France is to deploy more troops outside Bangui, French President François Hollande said on a visit to the Central African Republic (CAR), where he warned of the danger of the partition of the country and promised to end sectarian violence.

Hollande met some of the 2,000 troops stationed in the CAR and held talks with the country's Interim President Catherine Samba Panza.

Arriving in the CAR on Friday after a two-day visit to Nigeria, Hollande toured the capital in an attempt to show that life is returning to normal there.

"Significant progress" has been made in the three months since the French Sangaris operation began, he claimed.

It means you like speaking through intermediaries. Because talking directly with actual decision makers is too intimidating.

Does summoning an ambassador actually mean anything?

It' the governmental equivalent of "I'm taking my ball and going home 'cause you're a big meannie!"

or

It's the canine equivalent of "woof, woof...WOOF, WOOF...WOOF WOOF WOOF"

Summoning an ambassador is not as bad as recalling an ambassador. Nations recall ambassadors when they are terminating Diplomatic Relations. It is usually a prelude to war.

In politics its important to look like you are doing things without ever being held actually responsible. Obama, with help from the media, has mastered this so well. He is still playing the outsider, trying to "fix" everyone else's messes, when he is the primary instigator.

on this thread or DC??

Fuck me I can't believe people have such short attention spans; love him or hate him G Celente has been saying they will take us to war to smoke screen the ongoing financial death spiral of the western nations - I don't necessarily think GC is particularly gifted but I do believe he has a decent memory and can read.

That said how much of this has been written in ZB's Grand Chessboard, and various PNAC scripts, not to mention played out in various theaters over the past couple of decades.  I know, watch the chessboard - still have Syria in play.  We shall see what Rockefellers meat puppet the Obummbling idiot, do next.

it was interesting that Putin blamed "european powers" for the problems in Kiev.

And equally still that the folks in charge there have stated they want to be "European."

I think they are getting worried that Putin is not saying anything.  He is just acting.  They are starting to realize destabilizing Ukraine was a serious mistake.  Now they have no idea what is happening.  They are not even sure if WW3 has already started.

Ever have someone squeeze your balls really, really hard? At first you're hopeful that something really awesome is about to happen.

Then, something changes, and it takes your breath away. You realize, belatedly, that you are entirely at the mercy of an otherwise unimposing gal holding your sack hostage.

I find it odd that these "events" almost always take place on the weekends when sports are a-plenty and markets are shut down. Almost as disturbing is gold has been found (or at least more recognized) to have been manipulated and the price actually drops. No one that I run into on a daily basis really gives a shit about any of this. Mind you, I follow these things closely. But my sense is that most people don't understand they are living on an earthquake fault, as the base of a volcano with a hurricane off in the distance.

It is surreal to think that people are losing their livelihoods, their homes, their lives and no one over here really gives a shit.

Never watched an episode of Honey Boo-boo.

Pray.
