White House Set To Extend Obamacare Deadline By 1 Year
With the world distracted by Putin and ICBM launches, The White House, according to the WSJ, is about to extend Obamacare deadlines by another year:

Allowing insurers to keep selling policies that do not meet standards for another year. It seems, if you like your healthcare policy, you can keep it for one more year... (most importantly past the Midterms)
The Obama administration plans to allow insurers to continue selling policies that don't meet the federal health law's requirements for at least another year, an insurance industry official confirmed Tuesday.

The move would push a potential political furor over canceled insurance plans past this year's midterm elections. It would extend a policy reversal announced by President Barack Obama in November, in which he said insurance commissioners could let health plans reinstate for one year policies they had canceled because they didn't meet the Affordable Care Act's new standards.
The abrupt shift came after millions of Americans received cancellation notices from their carriers but were unable to use the HealthCare.gov website to apply for new coverage. That created a firestorm because Mr. Obama frequently promised during the passage of the health law that "if you like your plan, you can keep it."

As far as I know, none have reinstituted them. I'm sure at least a couple have. I just haven't heard about it.
They helped craft the law, to get rid of these policies. They aren't coming back.
The goal was to cancel all the policies of the expensive sickos and force them into Obamacare to where the State provides re-insurance to guarantee a profit to the Corporations. Next up, company plans that employ a percentage of sickos & fatties.

No change or delay is going to undo this simple fact... the risk pools have ALREADY been obliterated by 0zer0care. This means the insurance companies are going to see profit wipeout as a result of 0zer0care, and this is why they wrote the law with a bailout clause for the insurance companies. I am 100% sure, 0zer0 will honor that clause. Failure to do so means the insurance companies will sue, (they have standing), and they will win. 0zer0 can't take the chance of the law being sued by the insurance companies. There is too much risk in the law being invalidated one piece at a time in the courts until it is effecitvely dead. A bailout of the inurance companies MANDATED by 0zer0care will just be the straw that probably breaks the camel's back. But that's not the real threat.. The real threat is the rate hikes coming for EVERYONE because the risk pools have been obliterated.
In about a month, the insurance companies will know who has signed up for 0zer0care AND PAID for 2014. The shortfalls will be epic, and so the insurance companies will propose Premium Hikes for EVERYONE to make up the difference. This will include the EMPLOYER plans. Those rate hikes will be determined this summer and communicated to Employers so they can do their annual budgets this fall. That's when the Employers will decide to either pass along double digit increases, or DROP EMPLOYER PROVIDED PLANS. And there is NOTHING 0zer0 can do to stop this. No delay, no fix, not even delaying the employer mandate is going to stop the Premium Increases that are already baked in and will happen as a result of the risk pools being obliterated right now! This is all going to become known to every American in September to meet the 90 day WARN notification for changes to HC plans beginning 2015. 0zer0 and the dumbcrats have no clue the shitstorm that is going to hit them this fall. It will be 10x worse than the 5 million shitstorm of people that lost their INDIVIDUAL plans last fall.
Obama already waived the deadline rules for last year.

50 million cancellations??? The White House just realized how large the list of employer-insured cancellations is. From the Michael Tanner report #745 Cato Institute

with which companies make changes to
their plans, as noted above, few companies
will maintain their grandfathering over the

People need to verify their plan won't be cancelled and report any cancellations. (or someone needs to provide the list).
In the individual market plans lost their grandfathered status and were therefore cancelled for very small changes.
