Obamacare Blowback Begins As Republican Jolly Takes Florida Special Election
In what Democrats must be hoping is not a bellwether for the mid-term elections, Republican David Jolly won a closely watched special election in a battleground district in Florida yesterday. As WaPo reports, Democrats and Republicans spent millions of dollars with Jolly favoring repealing and replacing Obamacare, which was a central focus of the campaign, while his Democratic opponent did not. The race was close (Jolly won by 3,400 votes of the 183,000 cast), but as WaPo notes, the Florida result is likely to raise Democrat concerns (especially considering the Democrat's money advantage in the race).
In the first major test of voter attitudes in 2014, Republican David Jolly won a closely watched special election for the U.S. House in Florida Tuesday, handing his party a narrow victory in a battleground district where Republicans and Democrats spent millions of dollars fine-tuning their messages on national issues ahead of the fall midterm elections.
Jolly's win in a Gulf Coast district just west of Tampa illustrated the political toxicity of the law known as Obamacare. Jolly favored repealing and replacing the law, which was a central focus of the campaign, while his Democratic opponent did not. The law's botched rollout has heightened Democrats' anxiety eight months before the midterm elections. The Florida result is likely to raise their concerns.
Money played a big part...
Sink, Jolly and their affiliated groups spent more than $12 million in the campaign, making it one of the most expensive House races ever.
As a result of Sink's money advantage over Jolly, she enjoyed a head start out of the gates at the beginning of the general election sprint in mid-January. Voters started casting absentee ballots -- a popular way of voting in the district -- later that month, giving Democrats an opportunity to capitalize on Jolly's inability to spend big money on a positive, introductory message over the airwaves. But Sink did not build a big enough lead in absentee voting to prevail on election day.
Democrats vowed to fight for the seat in November.

"Jolly favoring repealing and replacing Obamacare"
Please federal govt, please stop helping us.
You're missing the point. Typical Pubbed Engishtard/
Yeah, I get it. It's just that whenever a "new" politician is elected, they always have to "do" something. The country is better off when these assholes are on the golfcourse or on their boat and not in the legislature passing laws.
No ! You missed it 5+ years ago!
The media and Dem congress was better off while backing away from obama and his health program.
They have since regrouped to support this massive loser.
Anything is better than admitting a mistake, I guess.
Obamacare failure is all part of the plan.
Single payer government system (paid for with mandatory tax withholding) in 5...4...3...2...1...
I promise NOT to vote for any politican who supported this disaster. My wife spent 3 houirs on the phone last week cutting through the crap...then another four hours yesterday.
My sister wasted similar amounts of time dealing with this crap.
They both had very nice health care plans prior to Obama forcing them onto his monster creation. Both paid out-of-pocket also for their plans.
Just about everyone I know has had similar problems. Both parties droipped the ball on this one and zero of them - neihter Dems nor Rep - who voted for the sh*t will get our votes this next time around.
well that should be easy then...
no Republican voted for it
There are no limits to power. The constitution and lady liberty have been raped. Long live the new king and may he fuck the old queen for all she thought she was worth.
Obama care is not blowing back, it's just assuming its natural position as completely worthless.
Exactly! Two chickens looking for some Cock!

I think Yen is having a side bar in his head.

Yen, you are funny when you post drunk. Its Mr. Hyde today!
I wish that was the case silverserfer.

There are no elections, there are only assignments
Since you don't have the balls to take it and claim it, you will be given the new assigment and like it. I always hate it when owned bitches complain, they should be grateful.
A very weak candidate against all that money the jackasses brought in, Clinton in the lead. This was a democratic strategy testing "the repair of ObamaCare vs. the repealing of ObamaCare", and a clear winner emerged. That District was won by Obama in 2008 and 2012, and a record 13 million dollars spent by the DNC. So, no amount of money can push the "fx-it" mantra now.
Don't worry. Obama has Lance Bass helping him save Obamacare.

LOL. It appears Lance was not N Sync. Lance, meet Reggie and Barry, not out yet.
All of America-heck the entire world-would be better of if we would just pay each of the 535 bozos and clowns on Capitol Hill a billion dollars apiece per year to
a-do nothing
b-pass legislating dismantling a piece of the federal juggernaut agency by agency for about 10-15 years.
At the end of all that the rest of the country could get back on its feet.
Diebold - Tomorrow's Election Results, Today.
Live free or die...bold.
I would only feel better if someone other than a D or R won. Or perhaps in no one won.
where was the flying spaghetti monster when we needed him?
Sorry to rain on the parade but elections are rigged.
The only reason the guy won is because he was allowed to.
Face reality, brothers and sisters.
Fight Club was a lot more fun before Tyler let all the Team RED shills in... Sad thing is the shills seem to actually BELIEVE that when Team RED wins it will somehow be better. Hoe anyone could observe the events of the past decades and think that either team will make things better is amazing. Sure BLUE will help you out while you're broke, of course they helped get you there, and RED will cut your taxes, but they'll fuck you with inflation not right in the asset class they're helping to bubble up. Voting Either party is equivalent to getting a reach around while getting iron dildo fucked.
The genesis of todays TP started under Bush (red team) just so you know. And many MANY Libertarians are former "red team" members.
I'll speak for only myself regarding what you think government and our society should be, millions for charity but not a fucking dime paid in tribute, ever. And the only people who have profited in this 2009-2014 orgy of asset bubblization are the uber-wealthy...both red & blue.
We're over 17 trillion in "tribute" now, it would have been worse if the "blue team" had all of the executive & legislative branches...IMO.
nmewn, you know if the blue team would have gotten the chance to spend like a food stamp paday crackhead whore we would have had a much better chance of blowing up the FED. Its their BS money anyway. The conservative view of fiscal responsibility is only a show in congress and perpetuation of the parasitic banker class. Those of us who hold PM's better relize quick that this party doesnt start thru fiscal dicipine as long as we are playing with FEDBUX. Not 90% Silver and GOLD.
Fiscal dicilpine doesnt mean shit untill were rid of the FED and we have sound money.
I suspect it is not as much a function of Tylers letting more red shills in as it is a function of just how horrible the new extreme Dems have been. I have been a registered Dem voter for decades, but the new extreme Dems have demonstrated very clearly in my mind that this is no longer my parents' party of the Dems -- nor even my own party of only a decade or two ago.
The new extreme Dems are apparently so un-American and anti-capitalist -- by historical standards -- that even I will likely vote a straight Repub ticket in all elections this year (except for the odd Dem in a race when no Repubs have any chance at all of winning as just happened in a local election I just voted in).
Obama's signature law, the Patient Destruction and Unaffordable Care Act, is the perfect example microcosm of the macrocosm.
By the way, what part of the US Constitution delegates the right to mandate what types of health care insurance are legal, even though no interstate commerce of health care insurance is permitted (due to other Federal laws)? This delegation of this right to regulate health care insurance to the Feds is required by the 10th Amendment. I guess this very simple argument was just too complicated, honest, or non-corrupting to be accepted by the Supreme Court who is obviously not interpreting the highest law of the land in a rational fashion anymore, in my opinion [assuming they ever were].
Also, even Dems like me are totally outraged that anyone in their right mind could possibly believe that health care could be made more affordable by adding a whole new layer of regulatory costs to providing it. That is the most moronic idea I can think of at the moment.
As a lifelong (and now former) Republican, please let me say: AMEN, BROTHER.
Welcome to the cure for our ills - We are now the most anti-Government generation that this country has ever seen. Perhaps when we take over the reins of power, as this generation of dunces passes on, there can be a hope for sanity here some day.
I suspect NSA owns Zh after ABC Media "bought" the site. We are all in a psyop being analyzed right now.
"...that even I will likely vote a straight Repub ticket..."
You have learned nothing.
The only hope we have even remotely from Team Red is the TEA Party who themselves have tried to get away from the toxic 'R' bunch.
That being said, there is not a god damned iota of hope, sanity, or common sense coming from Team Blue.
This might panic both RED and BLUE. RED didn't get 50%. BLUE lost. But RED didn't win.
NihilistZero
Wait, you think I am a "team red" guy or something? Are you kidding? Why do you think that? Because I am grown-up enought to realize that voting is rigged?
I'm glad some good guy won an election. But there is work to be done.
I think I responded to the wrong message LOL. Navigating ZH on mobile can be tough.
As far as I can guess, he won the election [mostly] fair and square.
However, It's the flock of lobbyists, and corporate/governmental threats that'll await him in the House of Representatives. He will then change.... or face being changed (in various ways).

So additional to racists, we shouldn't have spamers here either? Where does it stop?
Bring back the racists and bigots anyday. At least they had something intelligent to say.
This place was much more interesting when they were here.
I concur. I have been reading ZH since 09. The best part of reading ZH has been the comments. But lately and please forgive my pun it has been on a general decline.

I so miss the math captcha.
36 weeks and 5 days? Who the fuck are you? What do you know about finance?
Yep that is how long I've had a login to make comments.
I asked you a question. This is an financial site! We comment on financial decisions and ideas then joke about the political ramifications of those decisions!
WHAT is the 20 day simple moving average of the DOW 30?
Beats me! you want me to google it? ;O)
Yes please/ If you don't mind?
Yen, fuck the dow, fuck papermonkies, 30ma are for fags. Get a real job, save real money, and stop sniveling. please.

I'm tired of these " Mental Midgets".
I'll second that.
I get the feeling we're fighting on the same side, although, I've been through your "smart assed" stage!
Newfie the unlearned proletariat speak child of Z/H that doesn't even recognize an "simple moving average?"
Yep!
I have no need for that information. How about you explain to me how I can use this "the 20 day simple moving average of the DOW 30" in my daily life. I'm not a trader. I'm just a Joe Nobody who reads this site to get some insight on where the economy is going, read geo political news and learn a few things through the journey.
So my question for you is this. Where do you get the best Toutons ?
You'ye got no need for that information? Is there someone or something that provides that information for you ""pre-facta"?
You're just an person that's generally lacking in " Delegation skills". It's not your fault Newfie. You've probaly never excelled in sports or other outdoor activities, and feel an general sense of attachment to your confines.
You're probably pursueing an post/doctorate degree in Basket Weaving, and working 1/2 time as an assistant to some self help consortium.
WOW!
Did I hurt your feelings? Is your self esteem that bad you need to attack a stranger? Your description is detailed, did you just describe your own life? If so I have been thinking of basket weaving how is it?
I feel sorry for you and the dismal world you have created around your self.

Voting machines?
Dinnertime just ended in N.Y. and all the pussy assclowns are looking to make some cash next week?
Elections...... Lol. It's hard to believe that people still think they matter.
Well I'm going to give it one more try, someone will win and someone will lose...the winner gets to help decide all our fates.
ObamaCare wouldn't carry the force of law, IRS penalties and health insurance cancellations, without his election.
Agreed, I'm not throwing in the towel just yet.
In fact, I'll fight as long as there is breath in my poor old ragged carcass.
DaddyO
We're either going to fight it this way or the other way.
This way is just not as messy ;-)
I'm all in for either outcome...
DaddyO
Same here...we'll all hang together or be hung together at this point.
This isn't a blue/red party thing, this is a D.C. beltway in total control of everything thing.
Unless the top 50% of entrenched politicians are thrown out nothing will change due to the fact that they all hold the majority of committe seats which determine which bills get sent to the floor to be voted on.
And, as we all know, by the time you reach that level your pretty much compromised by the money and power that goes along with those positions.
Dovid "Get Your Jollies" may have said he supports the repeal of Obamacare, but I sincerely doubt we'll hear anything about that again once he gets to D.C. Since he was taking Karl Rove monies to fund his campaign he'll be under the Evil Emperors control until the fall elections. And, since he'll want to get reelected he'll do the Evil Emperors bidding just to continue the PAC money flowing.
Well Karl Rove is an asshat on the same order of magnitude of George Soros...we know that and what we're up against with McConell & McCain & Lindsey...but every journey starts with that single step.
At least wish us the best...before we have to pull out our knives and do it the old fashioned way ;-)
vote with your $. its the only REAL choice you will ever have.
a populace bled of gold and silver becomes a populace of debt slaves.
We are making progress, doc. Why, in the last presidential election, in many precincts over 100% of registered voters voted!
The doucebag liberals are alive and funded. All 47.5 millkion of those "Lobster Tail" eaters!
It's no secret Red and Blue make purple. Bleeding Heart Liberals are just a little too hard for me to stomach though!
dOWN vOTE AWAY! GET IT OUT OF YOUR SYSTEMS? I Produce facts and ideas. I'm understanding and tolerant to a point!
No matter who wins the Mid Term elections, nothing will change until "ordinary hard working people" make it change!
Bitchez~
More and more of those 'hard working' are waking up and realizing that 70% of their tax money is going to entitlements.
The sheer folly of this alone should have riots in the streets at this point.
DaddyO
Couldn't agree moar DaddyO.
But hey, I'll bet most people could tell you who won DWTS or American Idol last season.
It's just a sorry state of affairs until the flag goes up and then they will be grist for the mill.
DaddyO
Daddy O I'm just tired of taking shit from the "blue " side! I realize the bed is made for both colors.\
This just in from the blue team...

But, I thought the lefties were all about tolerance and big tents and stuff.
DaddyO
I get 4 hits for "Silver Surfer" in my search. Nothing for "Silver serfer"?
Blowback? Blowme! It's an R district...R's spent millions to win by 1.7%..that is a disaster....A "blowback" would have been a win by 20% or more...signaling all but the most hard core D's shifted right.
So...What's it like delivering The Tampa Bay Times now? Does mommy drive you around when the scary people are out? Or do you just stand in the middle of traffic on Tyrone Blvd and 66th street hawking the Sunday copies?
I hear that there are still lots of coupons in the Sunday paper...
Doesn't anybody else get angry at the prospect of so much outside money coming into a district to influence the local populations?
When I saw the outcome last night and heard how much money was spent, my blood boiled.
Bill Clinton even went in and tried to Lewinsky the voters for Alex Sink.
DaddyO
The Tampa Bay Times is the worst Piece Of Propaganda Shit in the country.
I fail to see how a 3400 vote difference is an indictment against O'butholeCare.
But, if you want to put lipstick on a pig and run it up the ole flagpole in the hopes it will get Retardians to come out and vote this November, then so be it.
My guess is sHitllery will win in 2016 with the House and Senate in the Demofarts firm control. NWO agenda will be enforced full throttle, everything from the Agenda 21 to Global Warming to gun confiscation to the TPP and NAU. This is the last hurrah of the Retardians, at least until they can fracture and destroy the last remnants of any association with the TEA party.
The anti-demonrat vote was 53%, quite impressive actually. You need to count the 5% Libertarian vote. Of course, you won't.
If 53% is quite impressive, then the fact that nearly 47% came out to vote for Alex Stink is equally impressive.
It just proves there's still plenty of voters willing to come out and vote for the Democratic party which in no way indicates any form of outrage against Obamacare.
Come on, if there were any real outrage against Obamacare the Democrats would have come out in mass to vote for Jolly. The Republicans were gonna vote for Jolly no matter what. So here we are just like an old married couple that refuses to budge an inch on a petty issue just to keep the argument going cause they don't know what else to do. Believe me, if Obamacare was the issue, then both sides should have voted for the libertarian just to show both parties what they think of them.
When you finally realize what the ultimate agenda is you'll realize it doesn't matter which side you vote for because both sides are playing for the same team.
Sure, you have TEA Party members providing a convenient distraction when needed, but anyone elected to Congress is immediately compromised, and if not, then they're ousted in the next election through ballot tampering or gerrymandering.
If anyone thinks that by handing the Senate to the Republicans this November while keeping the House in Republican hands will result in the ACA being repealed should stop taking the blue acid right now and replace it with the red acid.
Thomas Jefferson thought politicians were a necessary evil. Today the necessary to evil ratio is much worse than when Jefferson used a quill pen.
Bring in all new faces and hang all the outgoing representatives to make sure they understand...
while many of these pols are sociopaths, in many ways they are just a reflection of how retarded so many people are, and merely are conduits to wealth expropriation either quid pro quo democrat EBT alliances or the fascist neo con side. Bringing in new bums won't do anything until people realize that the 'principal agent' problem is best solved by pure voluntaryism/anarcho capitalism where I vote with my money and feet and am my own agent, not delegating authority to anyone.
The system is the problem. The people are complicit in their voting for bread and circuses. No doubt there are some evil people in the system, but they are enabled by an increasingly braindead populace.
I think you meant to say that the system allows the brain dead populace to believe that they somehow have a choice about how they're controlled when they step into the voting booth on election day.
The system is definitely the problem. It has not been corrupted. It does exactly what it was intended to do, and will continue to do, regardless of which group of looters controls it.
Nock had it right almost 90 years ago: "I was struck with the fact that the republican, constitutional-monarchical, and autocratic States behaved exactly alike. This has never been sufficiently remarked. There was no practical distinction to be drawn among England, France, Germany, and Russia; in all these countries the State acted with unvarying consistency and unfailing regularity against the interests of the immense, the overwhelming majority of its people." ...
"The Cleveland Administration had long before proved what everybody already knew, that there was no essential difference between the Republican and Democratic parties; an election meant merely that one was in office and wished to stay in, and the other was out and wished to get in." ...
"The general upshot of my observations, however, was to show me that whether in the hands of Liberal or Conservative, Republican or Democrat, and whether under nominal constitutionalism, republicanism or autocracy, the mechanism of the State would work freely and naturally in but one direction, namely, against the general welfare of the people."
It does exactly as intended if chains aren't put on it to rein in the beast, yes.
Plus one.
That's why it doesn't matter which party you vote for, they're both working for the same team, namely the State.
Even thought both parties have slightly different agendas they're both working to increase the power of the state.
I think thats where this will evolve to...us vs them.
this is why we need skynet now more than ever. Let get rid of greed and only llive in fear :)
@ FreeMktFisherMN
I saved your coment, and in all honesty I went to sleep.
I'm just still digesting it. Be Well
Sink didn't even vote for Obamacare and lost. Democrats running in November must be scared shitless after the FL results. Expect more Democrats to announce retirement in the coming weeks/months.
Actually the election showed that there's still the exact same number of idiots willing to show up and vote for Democrats that voted for Obama no matter what.
The two parties picked the two worst losers they could find. Alex Stink was Nancy Pelosi's hand picked favorite while David Jollies was Karl Rove's hand picked favorite.
The only thing this election proves is that the voters have not learned anything from the past, they're still willing to vote the party line no matter how god awful the candidates are.
Well, I wasn't going to say anything but...the Libertarian "may have" siphoned off votes from Sink, its usually the other way around...
http://reason.com/blog/2014/03/12/did-libertarian-lucas-overby-throw-flori
Virginia was another shining example of the Libertarian candidate swaying an election.
In Virginia, the Libertarian candidate was shown to have taken money from the Obama camp.
He turned out to be the dastardly destroyer of the Republican candidate who lost.
Politics makes for strange bedfellows.
DaddyO
At this stage of the game it wouldn't have mattered who won that election.
D.C. is weaving its tenticles down into Richmond through Federal subsidies and the northern Virginia districts that surround D.C.
There's a shiiteload of traffic between Richmond and D.C. on I-95 and D.C. is spending money to extend the HOV lanes down to Richmond, thereby buying influence and control.
It won't be long before Richmond and the northern counties will have become annexed by D.C. just like Crimea was annexed by Russia, with the southern and western counties looking to suceed from Richmond like the counties in Coloweedo and Calipornia.
Obama is saying he has 2 and half year left. How about six months until IMPEACHMENT?
Sadly, he doesn't fly Malaysian Airlines.
All a part of the plan.
The Demicans and Republicrats will dick around in unending Executive Branch decrees and CONgressional theater for the next 10 years.
Meanwhile, Americans will have to pay more for less as the insurance companies, corporate hospitals, big pharma, and lawyers grow fatter bleeding the middle class.
The ACA was designed to slowly fail while making healthcare more expensive yet less affordable and available.
The Democrat was a money Sink, most of them are. Problem is, that it is your money not theirs that they are sinking. A lot of the Republicans are just as bad.
Congratulations to the repubicans for winning the District 60 years in a row.
The info Tyler presented is not really accurate in terms of how close the race was. If you add in the somewhat significant percentage the Libertarian candidate drew (approx. 5%) then the ANTI-DEMONRAT vote was closer to 53%. That's significant. It's also significant that the Libertarians are grabbing significant numbers of disgrunted GOP voters. It was those voters who gave demonrat Terry McAuliffe the governor's chair in Virginia this year.
The Republican establishment is utterly braindead and will sink the party to hold onto their power and money. Instead of embracing these folks, they trash them. So they are no longer among the automatic republican voters.
It's a major warning. The majority is fed up with the demonrats but an increasing number are no longer interested in Democrat lite.
Also, to point out on this election, the Demonrat candidate lost the governor's race by 50K votes out of millions cast yet lost to this Jolly chump who is a lobbyist and philanderer.
You make a great point about embracing the Libertarians instead of demonizing them.
Unless and until the GOP leadership is up ended, we'll not see any further inclusion of those who are liberty minded.
In my area, a few far sighted GOP'ers have created a Liberty Caucus that is more inclusive of those in this fold.
I wouldn't hang my hat on any trend set by this election just yet.
DaddyO
And so this little "New Fi" child is out of our system?
I got caught up in taking Foneyrat to task earlier and vowed to just ignore the inanity of their posts.
The overall quality of the threads can be resurrected if we all endeavor to just ignore the Pukes.
DaddyO

The dow 30 component chart, seemed the most viable avenue to authenticity.
You, in fact are correct with respect to your "Valuability Thesus" ...
I questioned the individual, and she/he could not answer the question. I'm satisfied with my conclusion.
ObamaCare won't mean shit if stawks crash. It's the monkey glue holding evrything together right now.
Well lets see. Democrats suck ass. but republicans suck ass too. Just because democrats are slime doesn't mean republican scum should get a pass.
Who does AIPAC hate? Maybe they're ok. The JDL tried to kill Issa. I like that about him. Otherwise he's a mole bigtime.
I can vote but I can't have guns. That sums up the importance of voting. So I guess the best I can do is convince as many voters as I can to not vote, and scare the Hell out of the rest.
If this state could only cough up that turd Wasserman Schultz, and flush it down the toilet..
Oh wow another sociopath got "elected" to a post in the criminal DC US' ceremonial legislative body. Yeah, that will fix things. LOL

this is completely unacceptable to your typical US voter and the 2014 and 2016 elections will bear that out in no uncertain terms
note that there are also *36* state governor seats up for election in the 2014 midterms... hoo boy
look at the states that have US Senators up for election as part of Class 2... whoa momma, quite a few swing states in that list... the remainder are covered in Class 3 for 2016
if you think change isn't coming in the next 2-3 years in the US you aren't paying attention
Let me see if I understand this correctly. The republican candidate won the special election in large part by running against the health care legislation that his party created. Shorter Jolly: "I was against it, after we created it."
Now who says there isn't a damn bit of difference between the two parties?
And yet, the lie persists.
"But the version of the health insurance mandate Heritage and I supported in the 1990s had three critical features.
First, it was not primarily intended to push people to obtain protection for their own good, but to protect others. Like auto damage liability insurance required in most states, our requirement focused on “catastrophic” costs — so hospitals and taxpayers would not have to foot the bill for the expensive illness or accident of someone who did not buy insurance."
You do realize that frrreeeee! birth control pills are not a catastrophic cost...right?
"Second, we sought to induce people to buy coverage primarily through the carrot of a generous health credit or voucher, financed in part by a fundamental reform of the tax treatment of health coverage, rather than by a stick."
Did you know that corporations writeoff employee health insurance as an expense?
"And third, in the legislation we helped craft that ultimately became a preferred alternative to ClintonCare, the “mandate” was actually the loss of certain tax breaks for those not choosing to buy coverage, not a legal requirement."
Do you think not carrying health insurance should be a crime?

And Massachusetts did not impose any law on neighboring states, if thats what you meant.
Bullshit! It's the same goddamn plan and you know it. Stop the failed intellectual contortions. The Affordable Care Act has a Dr. Frankenstein, and its the Republican Party.
He (and they) abandoned what you call the "individual mandate" due to its deleterious effect on freedom & liberty. The object of the proposal (and thats all it ever was, a proposal) was to incentivize people through the tax system to purchase a catastrophic policy.
With carrots not sticks, is that term lost on you? If so, I'll splain. A carrot is used to lure an animal in a certain direction as opposed to using a stick to beat the animal into the direction you want it to go. The analogy is, fines/taxes/penalties/jail (making someone a common criminal) for non-compliance vs if you do X we will tax you less.
But it remains voluntary.
Now, personally, I don't go in for the state using its tax system to herd, control, funnel or otherwise inhibit or promote ones course of action over another...but thats all it ever was and that is just my view of all central governments vs any people.
So what we are left with is, a think tank proposal, that a NE governor latched onto (shocking I know...lol), implemented it and gave Massachusetts one of the highest health insurance costs in the nation, second only to DC. And then fucking "progressives" (uber-statist scolds that they are) REQUIRING...with the force of the motherfucking IRS no less that the entire country buy something from a private corporation.
So who is in fact, Dr. Frankenstein? Someone who made a proposal or the ones who did it? Does this apply to the Patriot Act as well, where a law focused on looking outward was turned in upon its own people? That was Obama and "the state" too.
And I noticed you didn't answer one of my questions but I'll ask the most pertinent one again...
Do you really believe NOT BUYING A PRODUCT OR SERVICE SHOULD BE >>>A CRIME?<<<

I expect an answer to the question posed and I'm not smiling or lol'íng anymore.
