Peak Complexity And Confusion: March FOMC Statement Has A Record 877 Words In It
Confused why the market is confused by the latest FOMC jibberish, whose "new and improved" forward guidance is a total disaster, which was to be expected now that the old has been scrapped and is dead and buried? It's simple: there were 877 words in the FOMC statement, which is an all time record. Even the Fed is having problems explaining to itself what it means. And yes, that includes the first instance of the scapegoating word "weather."

Not to worry. Mr. Hilsenrath will clear it all up.
Somebody please keep Uncle Janet (Yellen, there are so many Uncle Janets now, it´s hard to keep up with them all) and Hilsenrath talking this way so I can pick up some last scraps of gold when I get back to the USSA, paper gold price is way down as I type...
Appreciate it, thanks!
The only solution is a Permaculture Revolution!

It means we will do whatever it takes to keep the stock market up.... until we break it, then it will crash.... nobody will see it coming.
It won't crash. FOMC will approach Biblical lengths, but they won't let it crash.
They have a history of not "letting" it crash... Never stopped it before.
DING! DING! DING! DING! DING!!
WE HAVE A WINNER!
THE "MOOK OF THE DAY AWARD" GOES TO.... PorkAveFlusher!!
Congratulations Now give it up for Porky!!
Next FOMC, "The economy remains sluggish due to anxiety over the situation in Ukraine. Which is costing all of us as we know it is always cold in Russia and we have a cold war going on."
Doubleplus good.
We are in good hands. By "good" I mean evil. By "hands" I mean ass.
Silver/gold....FED still says sell!
What was the count pre 2008?
Yeah, and what was the count in 1912?
The markets are at ease with easy Grandmother... Have some chicken soup and Fairydust.
Re: easy Grandmother
This "Grandmother" concept will present some interesting dynamics in the future. Espcially at the congressional hearings. The males were always somewhat intimidated by the Fed males (being so powerful and all).
It'll would intersting if one of the congressional males accidentally caused a finacial "challenge" due to agressive questioning of Grandma resulting in a unscripted response about reality.
Maybe its Peak acceptance, is there anybody left in the world that would jump on the Fed band wagon? Now? The market is up 175%, who wants a piece of this?
If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with BULLSHIT.
Son of a bitch. They dropped the 6.5 unemployment rate and are going to continue printing until everyone is out of work.
Search for words like 'MANIPULATE,' 'RIG,' 'RAMP,' 'SUPPRESS,' 'TOXIC,' 'BULLSHIT,' 'CORRUPT,' and 'BANKSTER.'
...Nope. It's all good. BULLISH!
Yellen is a disaster. Get Stanley on the podium. Now.
A woman takes over and the word count goes up...you're surprised by this?
Just was about to say this exact same thing.
