Ukraine Folds? Prepares To Evacuate Citizens From Crimea
While Ukraine's leaders have on one side threatened retaliation and will not stand for Russia's annexation of Crimea, they have also suggested that they should be compensated for the loss of the region. However, the latest headlines from Interfax suggest that the Ukraine government has to some degree given up hope...
- *UKRAINE GOVT ADOPTS PLAN TO EVACUATE CITIZENS FROM CRIMEA: IFX
- *UKRAINE TO SETTLE CRIMEAN CITIZENS ELSEWHERE IN COUNTRY: IFX
While no details are known on the timing - or whether this includes the military - it certainly appears like Ukraine has ceded the region to Russia (leaving it tough for western sanctions to achieve anything now).

Crimea's a wrap, who is next in line?
Looks like Ukraine folded like a Boehner...
It's almost as if the Putin knew exactly how far the "international community" would step up. Maybe he hired some of the "Russian Hackers" who are always blamed for data breaches here, and they're better than the NSA's hot-pocket crowd.
I'm still trying to figure out why Crimean citizens need to be evacuated. Last I checked, only military personnel were in Russian custody? My guess is, if a citizen wants to Join the Zionist debt party, Putin will open the gates and say "good riddance"...
Maybe they will compensate them by still selling gas to them?
pods
...Remember Comrade Obama saying... "President Medvidev, I will have flexibility after the election."
Illinois? New York?
More broke and decrepit areas to assume debts?
Greece
Portagul
Spain
Italy
France
California
WTF? I certainly hope the CIA is taking notes here. As far as I can tell this has been the least expensive take over in history, taking into account both cost in money and lives.
Now compare this to various US mis-adventures:
Afghanistan
Iraq
Lybia
Syria
Lebanon
Egypt
Vietnam
Laos
Cambodia
Guatemala
Uruguay
Honduras
Nicaragua
Indonesia
Panama
Philipines
Puerto Rico
Haiti
I'm sure I missed some, but you get the idea.
Putin. Mak'in US look bad.
P.S. I'm sure China is taking notes also. All of the sudden annexing Taiwan and the surrounding South China sea looks like a walk in the park.
Oh and by the way- what 'Sanctions' did the USA have enacted upon them for all of the above???
(crickets........)
I have got another takeover you forgot, the takeover of the USA by the USSA.
What the heck happened to our Constitution, these dual citizen neocons are just like the Ukrainian neo nazis. They have stolen the country from the people. And our media is no different from the ukraine media.
http://www.radioislam.org/islam/english/jewishp/ukraine/ukraine_jew_cont...
The US was subjugated a long, long time ago. The original US Constitution lasted for maybe 100 years at most. I would say it was fatally compromised around 1871 or so.
1913 put the nail in coffin so to speak. JFK was a road bump in their plan.
If Putin and the Duma were smart, they whould immediately offer up to provide fair market value for assets of any Crimean who wishes to leave.
It allows people the ability to remain as a Russian citizen or to simply leave if they chose to. And if Ukrainians wish to leave, then these newly vacant dwellings could be given out to Tartar refugees fleeing Azerbeijan living in squalor camps in Crimea.
I'd be way more than what KFOR and the Albanians gave to the Serbs they ethnically cleansed from 2000 onwards...
LMFAO! So what, like two people are going to leave Crimea?
How about you add a couple of zeros after that number, or even better just to be on the safe side that we covered it all add 3 zeros ?
How do you feel now?
I feel great (just like the majority of people in Crimea).
low level IQ over here at ZH ...
a lot of people are not able to do the math, if you add 2 zeros after number 2 it becomes 200.
The joke is that either 2 or 200 people leaving Crimea doenst make any difference in a country with a population of tens of millions.
ZH has become low class so to speak ... no longer smart people able to think out of the box, just busy bees clicking away, to be productive
Busy busy busy......click click click......bzzzzzzzz......click click click......bzzzzzzzzz......
Arius
You've been here about 4 yrs, maybe you should take a break.
ZH freakout timeline is under 5 years.
que passa amigo?
Crimea's population is around 2,000,000. Some of us low IQ people can even operate a search engine...
Talk about a low I.Q. and no common sense. Let me be clear, people define boarders, not the other way around.
I doubt our IQ is 200 ....more like a buck fifty tops!
Why leave Crimea. Just wait a couple hundred years and allow remaining Ukranians to run gambling casinos in Crimea. Win- win for everyone including tax revenues for Crimea.
folds? that place is gonna be turned into a pile of rubble in about a week.
the Ukrainians are "following the food."
Hope they're stocking up on canned goods in the Crimea.
Might be their last meal for the next ten years.
Bullshit. Here, I'll let Dmitry explain it to you...
http://usawatchdog.com/collapse-and-systemic-failure-at-all-levels-comin...
from the article:
The United States is the most dispensable country on earth.
almost true. Still produce lots of food / grains. Aside from that
I never said that America doesn't have many assets, it does. Unfortunately it also has a considerable amount of unfunded liabilities...
Those unfunded liabilities can disappear with a stroke of a pen.
What happens after that is a subject for debate though.
In most States pension funds less than 50% funded. With reduced pensions, many will retire to Crimea or Odessa, the Russian version of Miami Beach. However not until a few demonstrations, civil disorder and protests more violent then what we have seen in Kiev. To make matters worse some pension funds now investing in sub-prime mortgages in EU and Romania through PIMCO. Unbelievable but true.
actually Ukraine has become a target for Shell fracking
Wishful thinking, you've backed the wrong horse (in Kerry's case the pun was intended)
@disabledvet:
I admire your loyalty to your cause, but sooner or later you need to admit reality. Putin is not weak. He is operating from a position of strength and he is winning. Your constant cheerleading to the contrary will not change reality. You don't have to like it, but you need to be honest about what the current situation is.
Pack your shit and get the fuck out!
The only people leaving are probably the Tartar Muslims. lololol. Good luck with that Kiev... hope that works out better for you than it has for the rest of the world.

Thats high tension. Did you see that one guy almost dropped his coffee cup? Damn.
Uh oh, Obama's on his way back from the store and he's got a new RED MARKER..... His last one ran out
did he take his pee wee herman bike, with the basket along with wearing the wookies jeans, with his stupid fucking faggot helmet on?
Dressed to Kill
http://failedevolution.blogspot.gr/2014/03/dressed-to-kill.html
I think it became blatantly obvious to the illegal government in the Ukraine that Zero has left them on their own.
+1
im dying to hear what that Mr. Peabody lookin mother fucker who's the HPIC (head puppet in charge) of that democratic coup government in Kiev has to say today....
peaceful ending hopefully
Like having Alabama invade Mississippi, I'd just say I'm a Alabamian now and stay...Hated when people LOL @ me when I said I was from Mississippi anyway...
let them have wodka and wubles...
And like all those Ukrainian girls servicing the Black Sea fleet are gonna jump at the chance to be relocated to some rural backwater?
I don't think the ladies are the law in Old Town any more, the big pimp made his move.
Kinda funny or strange these US/EU sanction threats when you read this:

I am sure more than 15 people take up their offer to join them in the new Nazi Ukraine slave pen where bank accounts have been frozen, pensions cut, austerity declared, new banker government sponsored thugs roll around beating people, billions more in loans have been taken out by corrupt politicans for the people to pay off, the currency is worthless, the gold reserves have been stolen, the pipelines are being auctioned off to the West for a song, and a banker was put in charge of the countrywide lootfest. Yep. I think maybe slightly more than 15 people will go.
Might see a few ads in Variety for 'Slavic looking' extras to audition for the coming 'Ukrainean exodus' extravaganza for CNN. Cue horse drawn carts and cute blonde girls with kittens being cruelly driven away by Ivan.
run forrest!, run!
EuroNews: Ukrainian TV boss assaulted and forced to resign by far-right Svoboda MPs
They were angry that public broadcaster, First National Channel, had broadcast the Russian Parliament signing a treaty with Crimea on Tuesday.
Yelling and beating Panteleymonov around the head, the men accused him of serving Putin, while there were Ukrainians “dying at the hands of Russian occupiers” and called him “Moscow trash.” They then forced him to sign a letter of resignation.
Ironically, one of the men involved in the assault was the deputy head of Ukraine’s committee on freedom of speech.
The EU seems to have woken up to the reality of the Kiev regime. It's ironic but a military coup and a democratic election afterward seem to be the most peaceful solution out of the situation at this point. That way, Ukraine may be able to stay together as one country.
@no1wonder,
When the dust has settled and the Nazi's have their "Mussolini" moment (it's surely coming) the movers and shakers, the called world class politicians of the EU, (they're the worst) and the UK, (US lap dogs, I'm ashamed to admit) will have so much egg on their faces all the chickens in Europe will be working overtime.
The u.s. is the worlds psychiatrist and putin is mad as a hatter
http://cluborlov.blogspot.com/2014/03/the-madness-of-president-putin.html
And as usual...the market had it figured out 2 days ahead of ZH's breathless coverage of hoped for Armageddon. ZH = great news and commentary site and terrible market analysis
Unless they are moving folks out before a major conflagration? Ukraine has crazy fuckers in charge. I hope this subsides and nothing happens, but there is a lot of potential. ZH makes no "coverage of hoped for Armageddon". They report what is going on. I see stuff here hours to days before what happens on other MSM sites. As for "The market" being ahead of ZH, give me the script a couple days before so I can front run and make money too. It's pretty easy to know what is going on before it happens WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON BEFORE IT HAPPENS. Go hang out with your HFT programs Mr Frontrunner. Shitheads like you perpetuate the ruin of the free market system which ultimately leads to slavery. So on that note, GO FUCK YOURSELF.
Exactly. The US and Russia struck a deal on Sunday.
The market has been frontrunning it all week, whilst its being packaged for public
consumption.
Of course they did. Meanwhile ZH is scratching it's head talking about currency crosses. The West was never going to do shit about the Crimea
There is a difference between "reporting what's going on" which ZH does better than anyone - literally stuff you can't see anywhere else - and the slant they put on their stories. Which is one of pure doom in 3...2...1. It's as slanted as CNBC in its own way. If you don't see that then I don't know what to tell you
There is no such thing as a blog, news or site for information that will not have its "sway". Obviously, ZH plays to doomers. I read Yahoo and other MSM stuff and come here for the otherside. I just hate when people come here like, "Hey! look at me! I am super trader! I knew about all of this before you all did cuz I am like smart and shit!" If you glean any info ahead that I may makes billions of dollars on, I would greatly appreciate it. I know that won't happen. Excuse my ire towrds you. I get a little pissed at what this world has become for average schmoes like me and my children who will have it worse.
putin needs to learn how to dance, and get another wife
They're just figuring this out now?
Meanwhile Joe goes to Lithuania to stir things up. Russia has today advised that it will no longer be using Lithuanian ports to trans ship goods to Russia.
White flags are better than False flags!!
Perhaps the Ukraine will get tough and do a pre-emptive withdrawel from the area around Donetsk. That'l show 'em.
Kiev is an armed camp with EU and US backed militias enforcing the will of the few.
Hmmmmmm, interesting point......... gasoline..... meet match......
Now let's we have Nazis, JEWZI's Eurotards, AL-CIA-DA and a bunch of prima donna oligarchs being manipulated by some neocon twat and a couple of morons from DC ....... now if Putin doesn't make some kind of a circus act out of that goulash of human excrement he's just not tryin'
German Bundestag member Gysi about Crimea
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hp0FVvpfbFU
Russia, especially Putin, owes Gysi an ass-whoopin' because he is largely responsible for creating unrest that led to the downfall of East Germany. I wouldn't be surprised if he is an Israeli agent.
anything to do with this sniper that was "detained" yesterday?
this news story yesterday headline was...
2 killed in shooting near Crimea military research center, 'sniper detained'
http://www.rt.com/news/crimea-shooting-military-center-646/
now the same story has this headline...
2 killed in shooting near Crimea military research centerwas a deal done to avoid making the person's identification public?

Hard to say of course, but the NAZIons might be playing possum, pulling back to see if Putin will cross that pink crayola line that the Oreo in Chief and his talking horse have drawn somewhere. The problem that most of us suffer is we do not read - Putin, on the other hand it would appear, does; he's seen this circus before.........
This whole thing depends on how much info Putin has on Barry O in the Snowden files. I'm betting a LOT! US representatives will continue to posture and do nothing. For now Puting has them in checkmate and is going to get as much of the old soviet union back as he can releasing the info piece by piece. This is getting really good watcing the our current regime cover their asses from their own ineptness.
Kinda makes you rethink the US's policy on just letting entire hordes of people walk over the border and settle here. Just a pregame to annexation by some foreign interest.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=5piVBy0kXXsOk, first of all it was a civilian who pushed her and arguably she may have fell. Second, the video looks potentially old as the vehicles are quite old behind her. Third, the link is from Ukraine PR Web. If they sniped her from the theater across the way I would take a double take. If this is the kind of footage they gather to counteract Svoboda beating the crap out of a TV reporter for reporting on Crimea being signed into accession by Putin.....I'd say you will need better stuff. I hope that old lady is ok as she seems to be after getting up and walking away.

Fuck off, tard.
Galloway: West created Frankenstein monster in Ukraine
Homos go to Obamaland!
Yes, and the Ukrainians who want to leave Crimea are even now being packed up.
Both of them.
Da Svidanya ...don't let the dvier hit u on the popka on the way out!
It shouldn't be hard to house them. They have a whole town waiting to be populated (again). It goes by the name of Pripyat, near Chernobyl. I hear Japan has a city or two to offer, too.
