First Twitter, Now Turkey Blocks YouTube

Tyler Durden's picture

A week ago, we wrote that "Turkey Set To Block YouTube Momentarily, After Google Refuses To Yank Clips Exposing Prime Minister." As of minutes ago this too prediction appears to have come true based on reports from inside the country that Google's popular video service is now also blocked.

Yet again, we see .gov vs the internet.  Turkish .gov will lose this fight just like US .gov will lose the fight.

Mid East and EU partner Countries have begun turning against the USSA and Obama.

USSA and Obama are liars, killers and untrustworthy.

Obambam must be green with envy right now.  If only he had a good "Emergency" to use his little internet/website kill buttons.

Kadir ?nan - I get the feeling this is a bigger story than we know. I'm guessing it would be the equivelent of shooting Martin Sheen in America, so there may be cause if his son were in the van.

When they block xhamster, then you know the shit is in the fan.

We can help our Turkish friends by supporting Tor. Tor is like a P2P proxy server so people can have unrestricted internet access.

We will dig up YouTube - all of them - by the roots. None of the YouTubes are safe. YouTube, SMooTube!

marcusfenix's picture

and where is the commendation from the white house on these blatant violations of human rights?

and not just this bullshit either, the government has been very heavy handed with the street protesters as well, same with Saudi Arabia. apparently human rights violations only happen in countries that Washington say they happen in, whether they actually happen or not is hardly important cause as long as you have you tube videos showing the aftermath of the chemical weapons attack by the evil dictator it must be true...

well, except in Turkey now that is where they won't be seeing any videos. which could actually be counterproductive given that they are obviously working hard at starting a war with Syria. but how will they ever "prove" to their own people that the evil Assad launched a chemical weapons attack against some border town in Turkey if there is no you tube to upload the videos to?

by the way this Edrogen guy is just getting more cartoonish by the day, banning twitter and you tube doesn't change anything, people are still going to hate him probably even more now. the guy is a world class scumbag who got his masters in scumbaggery straight from Washington paid for by the IMF and World Bank.

but what he is doing now is just straight comic book villain bullshit and it will not end well for him.
