The numbers for Obamacare never worked and don't work now and wouldn't work if every millenial logged in and bought every gold-pressed latinum plan available. They were counting on - guess what, COERCION, not this year's pitiful penalties but the ones that increase over the next year or two, to FORCE everyone to buy. And guess what, that will probably work.
EXCEPT that based on current enrollments and actual costs the premiums will probably have to soar over the next couple of years, so even the coercive multi-thousand dollar fines will be only a push. Politically, it can't possibly last. The only out is for, guess what, the federal government (read the federal reserve) to print enough moolah to subsidize the program, which if they were going to do that in the first place would have made the mandate and fines POINTLESS.
