Satellite Photos Released Revealing Russian Military Build Up
It's not quite YouTube clips, but NATO has released satellite image-based proof that confirms the dramatic build up of Russian military forces along its borders. The images showing tanks, attack helicopters, and war planes, according to NATIO general Breedlove provide support for counter-moves by allies to safeguard their partners. Russia, for its part, has denied it has any plans to invade Ukraine and suggests that NATO is "using the crisis in Ukraine to rally its ranks in the face of an imaginary external threat to strengthen demand for the alliance ... in the 21st century."

The images released by General Breedlove are reported to have been taken on 22 March, nearly a month after the unrest in Crimea began that led to Russia's annexation of the area. The photographs were taken by commercial satellite imaging company Digital Globe.
You can see the images below.

Speaking in Prague on Thursday, Nato Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said:
"I have this message to Russia: you have a choice to stop blaming others for your own actions, to stop massing your troops, to stop escalating this crisis and start engaging in a genuine dialogue."
He added:
"If Russia is serious about a dialogue, the first step should be to pull back its troops."
Russia has denied that it has any plans to invade Ukraine.

I read a fairly good book on the Balkans conflict some years ago.
The author said that "you only lose your virginity once, and NATO lost its virginity in Bosnia".
Somehow that has always stuck with me.
Also, the Kissinger engineered war in Cyprus. Two NATO members warring against one-another.Sort of screws things up,don't it?
Look before we start another Cold war, perhaps we should figure out how we are to disassemble the previous empire.
I feel for the Europeans: debt-masters on one side (Bankers) and Russians on the other....

As the armed storming of the Donetsk administration building seized by the protesters seems imminent, the anti-government movement is preparing for the referendum set to form their new way of life and the country they’re going to live in.
Masked men, who are mostly civil volunteers, but also police and army defectors, say they “defend their motherland from the fascist army that’s going to kill them.” They also demand “a referendum to be independent from Kiev” and are in favor of “being with Russia.”
In the local administration building, the protest movement makes Molotov cocktails: they say they want to avoid any violence, but if there is a crackdown on them, they will be forced to use whatever they have. “I only have a stick to defend myself. They are coming armed with machine guns, and all I had yesterday for example was a chair leg,” a masked protester said.
The Donetsk protesters fear the repetition of Kharkov scenario, where police cleared the demonstrators in a very violent way, detaining at least 70 people.
Donetsk is known to be the Ukrainian industrial capital, with about 1 million people living there. The Donetsk region is home to 10 per cent of the country’s population. In the local administration, there are representatives of almost every big town or city in the Donetsk region, and each city or town occupies a floor in the building.
The protesters explained their position to RT.
“The protest in Donetsk is against nationalism, we are for social justice, the creation of our republic means drastic changes in the way our territory is organized. We are for equality of languages. We are against the oppression by the majority by the nationalist minority, and against threatening ethnic Russians.”
Another protester, wearing a mask, spoke about the industrial wealth of his region that seems to vanish in Kiev for the most part.
“Donetsk region sends about 470 million dollars to Kiev, and less than 150 million returns. All the mines and enterprises in Donetsk are prosperous.”
Old pictures, sucker.

Isn't that what they are supposed to have on their military bases.
I know, the Americans are jealous that these are not their weapons that are there.

DigitalGlobe, seriously? Do they have interns scouring Google maps looking photos of Russian Military bases?
This is the equivalen of Canada showing photos of Andrews AFB and saying the US are amassing troops on the border?
Russia has given Ukraine permission for overflight of border areas to dispell the myth of troops on the border. But that doesn't fit the narrative.
