Martin Armstrong Warns American Civil Unrest Is Starting Right On Schedule

We have been warning that 2014 is the beginning of a new cycle that will see a highly unusual convergence between our domestic (civil unrest & revolution) data and our international war model. Both converge for the first time since the 1700s when there were US and French Revolutions and the fall of monarchy. This was the topic at our Cycle of War Conference (see also special report).

The civil unrest will develop first outside the USA and turn up more aggressively in the USA after 2015.75. Nonetheless, it still begins in 2014 for the USA as well. We are starting to see this in the West where memories of previous events still linger deep wounds from 1992.

Nevada-Protest

The confrontation in Nevada between Clive Bundy and the Bureau of Land Management, whose Director was Sen. Harry Reid’s (D-Nev.) former senior adviser, has turned into an issue of important cycle unrest. The government wants the land and demands Bundy gets his cattle off of the land his family has worked for over 140 years in order to make way for solar panel power stations. This dispute between a Nevada rancher and federal rangers over alleged illegal cattle grazing erupted into an Old West-style showdown on the open range this week, even prompting self-proclaimed members of militia groups from across the country to join the rancher in fighting what they say is U.S. “tyranny.”

Ruby-Ridge

This is a brewing resentment of federal government that goes back to Ruby Ridge, which was the site of a deadly confrontation and siege in northern Idaho in 1992 between Randy Weaver, his family and his friend Kevin Harris, and agents of the United States Marshals Service (USMS) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). It resulted in the death of Weaver’s son Sammy, his wife Vicki, and Deputy U.S. Marshal William Francis Degan. The Feds simply shot his unarmed family dead and it was alleged they even shot his son in the back. This is indeed the continued militarization of the police in America. The corruption was so bad in Ukraine that when someone saw the police, they trembled in fear. In the US, this trend is also underway and demonstrated by this video where the police began shooting at a minivan driven by a woman with children in the car over a traffic violation.

They must imprison and enslave humanity to save humanity.

I think part of the problem is too many are constantly denying what it means to be human. They want to adopt the utopian dream of endless peace and pacifism dominance.

We have been trying since the beginning of time. If it was going to happen, it already would have.

It is a dog eat dog world. We can do our best to tamp down the worst of our instincts, but they are instincts and like any creature on this planet, we can revert to our base instincts in but a moment. That is the only reason we are still here. It is our emergency survival device, and like the gun under our bed, we may not want to have to use it, but when our life and that of our loved ones is in the balance, look out. I think we currently all have a front row seat to the next major exhibition.

Yeah because occupy didn't count due to the fact it didn't fit in Armstrong's idiot timing cycle theory.  Armstrong is so full of shit I can smell him from here.  Ask him why his war cycle was at its very low when Ukraine broke out, and he will tell you it is because we trimmed our military budget that day.

Yep . . . IMO cycle theory is complete bullshit.

A bunch of so called 'academics' got together during the Great Depression and came up with all sorts of cycle theory baloney too.  What they were really doing was diverting attention from the real cause which was the actions of central banks and government serving their own interests and that of big business.

Cyclical trends only define which character traits are strengthened. It's like raising a healthy child in and amongst a nation of heroine addicts. Is it natural to succumb to the trend because everyone is doing it? That is not foretelling--for the crowd is not always right. So, what shall we cull from trends? Pre-determinism>which is death? Or shall everyone take responsibility for their reactions--and begin voicing values that embody loyalty to community, self, family, health, respect. There in lies the rub.

1992 and no mention of the LA Riots???  Not saying the result was very constructive but if anybody was the victim of organized .gov disenfranchisemnet it was the black community.  Black folks didn't make South LA a ghetto om their own.  William H. Parker and various .gov policies manufactured a criminal class in the Los Angeles black community where none existed before.

Feel free to look up Parker's policies and the Real estate segregation that took place in SoCal if you disagree...

Didn't some of the WACO victims express sympathy for Rodney King with a sign outside the compound?  Poor people of any color have a lot more incommon with each other than the .gov mafia.

Police ROUTINELY shoot dogs they encounter when serving a warrant or even in unplanned encounters where a dog appears.  It is more unusual that a dog survives a police raid.  Police have shot dogs as small as Chihuahuas (which, depending on your view of small dogs may be justified) and they've shot elderly dogs to infirm to rise up from their beds. They've shot dogs running from them.  They've shot dogs while they were being restrained by owners.  And, they have shot dogs which were kenneled and had no access to the police during the raid.

My humble prayer is that deceased members of Swat teams are sent to dog heaven for a stretch.

Funny how all the .gov trolls are so hard up to push the red/blue, Dem/Rep bullshit. The thing they fear most is that we realize there is not a shred of difference between them. "Two wings of the same bird of prey..." as they say.

Every principled libertarian/anarchist I know was just as critical of Bush as of Obama, and of every one of the criminals in DC going back to Lincoln. Party affiliation is irrelevant to anyone who has a clue what is going on. The only conflict that matters is the state vs the individual.

Private rights in federal lands were recognized in an 1866 water law. It says, "… whenever, by priority of possession, rights to the use of water have vested and accrued, and the same are recognized and acknowledged by the local customs, laws, and the decisions of courts, the possessors and owners of such vested rights shall be maintained and protected in the same."

The really sad deal in this country is they have spent all those billions every month building up the new gestapo and are actually passing it off as the righteous constitutional American side of truth and real justice, when everybody knows it is all absolutely wrong. Running rough shod over the people and stealing their lands and rights is not what America is all about. People are waking up to the horridness of an evil puppet govt owned by china.

Here's the whole story, Cliven Bundy, the Nevada Freeloader, stopped paying his grazing fees in 1993 because his stocking rates were getting cut by the BLM due to Desert Tortoise bullshit. Just a couple years later there was a MASSIVE Federal buyout for the lost stocking rate. His neighbors, who had the brains to maintain their leases, got paid over five million dollars (a lot of money in 1993). He inadvertently walked away from millions when he discontinued his lease. So he's bitter.

Before 1993 he was paying his grazing lease like everybody else.

He's lost in court and has taken bizarre positions on the matter, such as claiming the US Government doesn't exist when the fact is the land that is now Nevada was awarded to the USA after a war with Mexico. Later yet that territory became a State. His family acquired a small piece of deeded land after Lincoln authorized land grants to the area.

Bundy only owns a small parcel of land. For generations they, like many other ranchers throughout the West, leased public grazing allotments from the BLM.

Nobody is trying to take HIS land. He can do whatever he wants on his private deeded land. They are simply removing him from PUBLIC land. (Or trying to).

Loads of ranchers would give their eye teeth to pay the Federal grazing fee on that BLM allotment.

El Vaquero's picture

Um, no.  His argument was that the federal government doesn't own the land as per the constitution.  And in a strict and literal reading of the constitution, he would likely be correct.

Article I, Section 8:

To exercise exclusive legislation in all cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten miles square) as may, by cession of particular states, and the acceptance of Congress, become the seat of the government of the United States, and to exercise like authority over all places purchased by the consent of the legislature of the state in which the same shall be, for the erection of forts, magazines, arsenals, dockyards, and other needful buildings;--And

Notice that there is nothing in there about the Federal government owning large swaths of public land and managing said swaths of land.

Amendment X:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

In short, the constitution does not delegate to the United States by the Constitution the authority to have large swaths of public land, such as BLM and national forests, and therefore, that is a power left up to the states or the people.

However, good fucking luck getting a court to enforce the Tenth Amendment.  They just don't do it.  Had Bundy wanted to win, he would have to have been prepared for 10 years of very intensive litigation over several laws and made this a 14th Amendment issue.  That's what the Hage ranch did, and, after bouncing back and forth between the district and appelate courts for 10 years, the judge found that members of the government conspired to deny Hage his water rights and grazing permits, and even found some of the members of the government in contempt of court.

Yeah I pulled into a parking spot yesterday at the post office, tax bill and check in hand and asked myself, Why the fuck should I pay this? Honestly I was pissed! The Government has done nothing for Main St.  and everything for Wall St.! Those mutherfuckers were the ones that caused the crash of 2008 and we not only bailed them out but have since rewarded them for their gambling losses. So I'm waiting in line with like 15 people and some guy says, " look at all of us good American's lined to pay our corrupt Government tax money they don't deserve". There was a chuckle here or there but I stuck my neck out and said..." Yeah I own a small business down the road and I'm paying more taxes then GE today" I followed it up with, " I guess since I'm not Jeffery Immelt and not an Obama economic advisor, I need to pay taxes"... Holy Shit the place got in an uproar and everybody started going off and speaking their pent up truth. I thought we were all going to be asked to leave as the Government employees started feeling very uncomfortable. All I can say is it was nice to see 14 out of 15 people in the post office feeling the same resentment and betrayal . All I can say is a few years ago maybe 2 or 3 people would have responded and may have been asked to shut up by the majority. We are living in some interesting times thats for sure. My only fear is as the numbers grow and the Government loses its majority, who knows what happens next? Marshall Law?

Well Fuck me....apparently you didn't hear about the Post Office stocking up on ammo yesterday.   It was for a_holes like you stirring up the pot.   Now you know why the PO needs to be armed to the teeth.  It's a miracle all 15 of you are still above room temperature.  My guess is Homeland Security License Plate and Facial Recognitioned all of your sorry asses.   There will either be in handcuffs or a drone will be locking on to you in the near future.  I salute your bravery....however I notice one of you walked out of there with your IRS check unmailed.   lmao

Uh, if SHTF, I'm pretty sure that I'm not going to sit there and say "Hmmm, I want to go smash up a government entity.  Who should it be, who should it be?  I KNOW, THE FUCKING POST OFFICE!"  Seriously, the dudes at the counter at my local post office have never done anything to incur my wrath, or at least beyond a good yelling at.  It will be other government agencies that receive the brunt of the angry mobs.

You mean with Matt Dillon in charge?  I would think that they would use militarized agencies instead, you know, declare martial law.

Fucken globalists probably want to fight with their dogs. They are crazy people. If it moves they want to control it or kill it if it doesn't listen. Well good luck Globalist psychopaths trying to get by with that. Currently you guys are fighting on more fronts than Hitler during the end of WWII.

I never believed I would live in a time when the American government would assert that it had the right to summarily execute or indefinitely imprison an American citizen without trial or due process. I never imagined that members of the oligarchy would be publicly acclaimed by the highest law enforcement officer in the land to be above the law and beyond prosecution.

It seemed impossible that banks could come into the nation’s courts with fraudulent documents and press their claims and take peoples’ property.  The feds were supposed to be above the pettiness of the states.  The G-Men were supposed to be men of integrity and show the rest of us how it was done.  They were never supposed to be vindictive and partisan.  Who would have dreamed that the agents of the Federal government would become the tools of political hacks and con men?

This standoff on Bundy’s ranch was a water shed event.  The world saw the pictures and the videos.  Cowboys riding up against people threatening to shoot them with flags waving and people cheering, it was like something out of a movie. Those images stirred the icons of our past. They stroked feelings of long lost honor and forgotten pride.  They revealed that somewhere in this country there are still real men.

General Gage had no idea that he would transition from being the master of Boston to being a prisoner within it in a single day.  He thought he was facing a handful of dissidents.  He never imagined that his effort to confiscate a few pounds of gunpowder would light the flame that would weld the many factions in the thirteen colonies into a single defiant force.

There are embers glowing all over the country.  The majority feel that the government is on the wrong track.  All that is needed is for someone to fan the flames. What happens next is up to the government.  Wisdom dictates that they will let this dead dog lie.  Hubris may not let them leave this alone. Miscalculation can set this country on fire.

Steppenwolf 1969 -

Monster

...And though the past has it's share of injustice
Kind was the spirit in many a way
But it's protectors and friends have been sleeping
Now it's a monster and will not obey

The spirit was freedom and justice
And it's keepers seem friendly and kind
It's leaders were supposed to serve the country
But now they won't pay it no mind

'Cause the people got fat and grew lazy
Now their vote is like a meaningless joke
You know they talk about law, about order
But it's all just an echo of what they've been told

'Cause there's a monster on the loose
It's got our heads into a noose
And it just sits there watchin'

Our cities have turned into jungles
And corruption is stranglin' the land
The police force is watching the people
And the people just can't understand

We don't know how to mind our own business
'Cause the whole worlds got to be just like us
Now we are fighting a war over there
No matter who's the winner, we can't pay the cost

'Cause there's a monster on the loose
It's got our heads into the noose
And it just sits there watching

America where are you now?
Don't you care about your sons and daughters?
Don't you know we need you now
We can't fight alone against the monster...

General Gage and the American Revolution.....

People standing up and fighting for the "moral high ground"..  taxes are too high, no representation etc etc... freedom, bill of rights etc etc.....

Our history books gloss over just how effective the "revolution" was in accomplishing and maintaining the "moral high ground"..... the things they were told they were fighting for.....

Suggest you read about "Shay's Rebellion".... 1786...

The revolution was about a bunch of wealthy businessmen consolidating their power and wealth, manipulating the ignorant masses to use as cannon fodder.

The most fascinating comment that Armstrong made through-out is that the core economic country that is experiencing a reset--goes down fast....and he gives the example of Rome. That since it was a core economy--it transpired quickly.

I'd like to hear more of this theory--and how he comes to that conclusion here-wrt the US.

It's things like this that should compel people to "go to ground" in that you need to understand and survey the county you live/operate in.

You can read ZH all day.  You can watch all the big media you want for what ever propaganda or self-assured feedback loop you need.

If the power goes out.  If the cell phones go off.  If your kids are across town in school or there is a riot at the Food King, none of the "big media" or even a short wave radio is going to help you.

You need to know the people, personalities, locations, etc of the local infrastructure to know what to avoid, who is your friend and who is trouble.

Whether these are elected officials, government wonks, the local airbase or national guard armory, you have to know what is going on and have a dialogue with your local friends and neighbors about watching each other's back.

This regime that is in power is not going away.  It is fostered by the technology and drive of Google and empowered by race-baiting Chicago-style mafia politics.  You better pretend the Democratic Party is another manifestation if the Brown Shirts, because things are not getting any better anywhere out there.

The banks, the heavy corps, the wonks and the security surveillance state are not backing off.  They are doubling down.  There are no laws anymore in Amerika.  It is a free-for-all and the top level folks get it and snicker.  The ones with guns and PTSD are jones-ing for any reason to act.  Everyone else is fodder.

Give you an example.  Tell you what I mean.  Just learned my mother's social security is getting lowered.  While the appeal is underway, she freaked out and contacted the local housing authority for emergency elderly housing.  The local NGO was not even accepting an application for elderly housing to even get on a wait list.  Meanwhile how many hundreds of vacant homes are in your area.  How much has food gone up in price these years?  the rubber is hitting the road and it is starting to disintegrate.

Check it out yourself.  Apply for section 8 and food stamps in your area and see how you are treated.  That is how far down the road we are.  This is not about Obama the man.  This is about the democratic party that has been hijacked and an impotent republican party that is raping all the way with the rest of these villainous scum.

"Withholding payment of taxes is one of the quickest methods of overthrowing a government"

all from your armchair , non partitipation. No holding signs or calling your congress girly men, nor shaking your fist in the air, to have very little change…yeah once in while they will throw some scraps at ya...like a dog.

but for real change…hit em in the pocketbook.

With-holding taxes is good ... but, it is trumped by physical violence.

That is, a gun-in-your-face will convince you to pay your taxes.  Even Jesus couldn't make his non-violent methods actually work.

Over at Western Rifle Shooters, the idea of a Distributed Swarm is being proposed.  That is, each man or small group, picks out his own local "issues-to-be-addressed". When the time is right, a thousand pin-pricks will (might?) kill the Beast. No central command.

According to the likes of Francis Sawyer, they're just now getting into the swing of things, hitting their stride, rounding the bend, etc.  Pretty much near its apex, as I've heard it described.
