Visualizing Taxes Around The World

Tyler Durden's picture

Not every person in the world has the same relationship with the taxman as Americans do. Let’s look at taxing throughout the globe, including what people pay and some of the more bizarre taxes around the world.

Nearly every inch of those states happens to be Federally owned property , as well. Great for you to incorporate there. Just be careful , will you. Don´t get out of sync with program. Gently accept and accede when they incorporate your law firm into one of their bigger deals or n other ways dragoon your help , even if that´s mean shitty deal for you yourself personally. After all the collective is greater than any individual. Forward!

The difference between the U.S. and most of the countries listed above is that most of the citizens in the other countries get something for their tax dollars.  They get free medical care, safe streets, good transportation, and edible food.  We get massive intelligence appartuses, F35s, rich bankers, poison foods and drugs, very expensive and very bad medical care, and lots of lawyers.

Absolutely right.  If you think you're top-stopped at 39.5% in the US you're dreaming.  The government has done an oustanding job of cramming down unfunded mandates on the states (on top of their own profligate spending) and the state and local stuff is well beyond the trivial now.  It's getting to be EASY to pay over 50% when you include all that stuff.

The tax rates shown are crap. For the US, only federal income taxes are shown; no state income taxes are included. But for other nations (like Canada - where the top federal rate is 29%), the rate shown is the combined rate for one or the other jurisdiction (guessing Ontario).

According to taxfoundation.org, the average top marginal income tax rate in the US across all states is 48% (http://taxfoundation.org/blog/high-income-taxpayers-could-face-top-margi...)..

Not mentioned is that there is a big difference between what is asked and what is paid.   In Greece, a large number of Citizens simply ignore tax bills.   As many say, why should we pay when the money simply goes to pay interest to the Germans on debt which the corrupt politicians in Athens borrowed simply to enrich themselves and their friends.

A revolution has occurred in Greece without a shot fired... and it is any Governments worse nightmare.   It is the situation where a large number of Citizens simply agree to ignore their Government.   In Greece, many Citizens agree their Government does not represent them nor have any authority over them.   They are just a bunch of thieves.

I suspect the digital footprint is enough to call in the 'tax' debts of the non paying peeps over time as serves TPTB in a staged manner to manage minimal protests and further similar agendas in other nations.  No "free" ride for normal folks in this bullshit travesty; every single crocodile lives long and has immense patience before it rolls a victum.

What is the percentage if one adds all the local taxes; sales, state, county, and city and fuel taxes?  What about property taxes?  Why not include all the fees added on even after the amounts paid to finance government services.  Added to the 39% these would up the average to about 50 to 60%.

LOL sweden is #2 , however what u guys are missing out is that the employer has to pay an additional 32% BEFORE he pays out the salary.

132.000 - 32% = 100.000 - 56,6%.. yeah its not theft, its taxes! And we love to pay it because we love all the african and arabic missfortunes who come here. Somalis and now a lot of syrians. From earlier we have hordes of Iraqies and Iranians. Of course most of them cant read and write and all are hammerd with social benefits. With other worlds: Please Russia, come and invade us and set us free from this genocide!!

I would estimate that already now around 30% of our population is non swedish. While Swedes now are emigrating at record pace it wont be many years until the muslim population is in majority. Of course government wont be interested in publishing any facts since reality would anger all the "believers".

The only big question i have is: WHY?
